Marita's Latin Food

I was in the area and randomly spotted this restaurant and decided to give it a try! The service was great, the food was even better! the Empanadas were made fresh! I ordered the jibarito sandwich & my mom ordered the “tostones San Juan” and it was AMAZING!!! FRESH, full of flavor! A 10/10 I would recommend!

Great quick bite, I ordered a fish rice bowl. I was in and out in less than 30mins. Perfect for my lunch break. Food is very tasty, clean and friendly staff. Happy to see they're expanding.

Corona Safe Restaurant... Just discovered Marita today and they are one mile from my home. Cant miss that BIG OPEN sign. Clean, beautiful Decor of Puerto Rico, family business, hand sanitizer in each table and the customer service was excellent. I am posting the pictures that I took. Empanadas was chunky and had great flavors. The Papa Locas was awesome, with so much flavor and it's big enough for 2 people. I had shrimp taco & my sister had beef taco and it was excellent. We are completely stuffed. They also have Marta and Cole cchampagne. I highly recommend it and this is now my new neighborhood Boricua Restaurant. $$$$ prices reasonable.

Best Chicken Rice Bowls in town! This beats Chipotle’s. I always order my bowl with everything on top. If you’re not a cilantro lover, you will love their cilantro sauce 😩♥️

Great food, flavor and service. You have the options on rice bowls or salad bowl. I ordered the salad bowl with a pastelillo de pollo as an appetizer. Desserts are delicious like the tres leches and fried ice cream.

Beautiful atmosphere. Tables are well spaced and the walls are gorgeous! I love their variety of fresh juices like mango and passionfruit. Hot and tasty chicken empanadas and delightful customer service.

Authentically delicious latin food!!! I love eating at Maritas! I’ve been there twice in the span of about 2 weeks. The lady who I believe is Marita herself is always so hospitable, kind, and consistent. When you ask her whats good, she’ll reply everything, and its TRUE! It tastes so good you have to remember to breathe while savoring it.

Stopped by for lunch & had the shrimp bowl with yellow rice & black beans, I was not disappointed. The bowl also has chopped sweet plantain & avocado in addition to sauces, it’s was so flavorful. We also ordered the crab empanada & tostones San Juan which were really good, food is cooked to order and very fresh. Will definitely return to try other items.

We had the salmon and a trio bowl. The trio bowl is steak, chicken, and shrimp. These bowls were soo good. And it is larger amount of food. They were not cheap on the protein, which I appreciated. The restaurant is very clean and the man that took our order was very nice. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Just wanted to share a bad experience I had when I went on a Monday at 11 am. I used to be a regular at this place but since moved. I was extremely disappointed by the way my friend and I were treated. There was a man there who opened the door and said " we are not opened yet because we are working on a big order" he said it would only be about 15 minutes wait. He locked the door and walked away leaving us outside to wait. We decided to wait but after 20 minutes we realized he was not going to return and disregarded us. We decided to leave to another restaurant. I was so disappointed because I was bringing my friend there so she could try the great food. On top of driving 30 minutes to have a nice lunch with my friend at a spot I enjoy. I will sadly never return after that experience. He could have at least allowed us to wait inside or at least acknowledged us. They could have placed a sign outside stating they would not be opening as normally. Very disappointed.
