A wonderful place. We had several pizzas, all truly spectacular and delicious. The Angus steak, which my daughter had, was truly out of this world, soft and tasty. The desserts? We dined at this restaurant located in a charming little square, which alone is worth a visit. The atmosphere is relaxed and refined, perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. The food truly surprised us: fresh ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and rich in flavor. You can sense the attention to quality, from the choice of ingredients to the preparation. The staff was kind and helpful, always present but never intrusive. The friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic cuisine in a characteristic corner of the city. We'll be back!

Stunning location in a small square in the heart of Albenga's historic center. The staff was very welcoming and the service was perfect. We started with a delicious cheese platter, followed by tagliolini with pesto and rabbit. Everything was delicious, we had a wonderful time: I recommend it!! :)

The Olive and Lavender location consists of an indoor area in a medieval setting typical of the city of Albenga and an outdoor area in a beautiful little square overlooking the restaurant. The menu features excellent seafood dishes and also very good pizzas and focaccias. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely without a shadow of a doubt I give it 5 stars because the focaccia is extraordinarily good and delicate... the fish with a noteworthy plating is delicious, a soft Angus makes this place well deserve 5 stars... excellent service, clean and youthful place... I will definitely return for the pizza!

What can I say? In short, everything was perfect, excellent. A pizza that's nothing short of phenomenal, delicious, and stands out from other pizzas, both in terms of dough and taste. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. The farinata is truly SPECIAL. And let's not even talk about the first courses, which are delicious. The grilled fish is superb, everything absolutely fresh. And what about the desserts? They're all absolutely homemade. Believe me, 5 stars aren't enough; this beautiful constellation deserves it. The staff is very professional, polite, and friendly. My compliments, truly.

Very nice Restaurant! I ate a Pizza Diavola (Spicy) and a Pannacotta with Caramel for Dessert, which where really tasty. Both cost 6€ (each). I can really recommend the Restaurant, also for Families.

Great food with fresh ingredients. They make all their bread and foccacia themselves and invent dishes that keep you interested (e.g. Tiramisu con liquorice! ! delicious ). A restaurant not to miss if in this area. Best to book a table...it's popular

Camerieri gentili, cibo buono, sarà bello soprattutto questa estate mangiare fuori in piazzetta. Abbiamo preso il tagliere di salumi e focaccina che merita davvero. Buoni i secondi, peccato che nell'orata abbia trovato 5 spine, per questo do 4 stelle anziché 5, soprattutto perché ho diviso il pesce con la mia bimba e per fortuna le lische le ho trovate io e non lei.

Been here during my last trip to Liguria, and found it while looking for a local restaurant out of the tourists areas. Place is not big but well furnished and good looking. Food is also pretty good, including pizza.

Quite disappointed, the place was highly recommended to us. Pizza was good, as in any normal-good Italian pizzeria. There was only one bad detail regarding wine. I asked for a white sparkling wine and specifically asked it to be very cold, the girl told me yes of course, but didn’t care and brought it almost warm. Then the bad detail was the glass portion, I had the impression that it was just the remaining of a bottle and didn’t get to a normal portion, and they just didn’t filled it. Then I asked the waitress to confirm it it was the right size of the portion because it seemed to be quite to low and she firmly answered yes it is, and when I said that I just had the feeling that it was to few (I take a lot of wine glasses in many restaurants for many years), she didn’t care. I didn’t want to argue or speak to the manager and make trouble. I would suggest to be careful whit this kind of details, because next time instead of going back, we will try another restaurant as that place is full of nice pizzerias.

Locale molto piccolo, personalmente lo trovo troppo caotico, lo spazio tra i tavoli è veramente poco! Tempo di attesa tra le portate esagerato e prezzi superiori alla media! Preso una tagliata con patate, ma la carne era secca all'esterno e non era tenera! Mi avevano parlato bene di questo locale, ma evidentemente siamo incappati in una serata storta! Comunque non ci torneremo sicuramente!

Tried it on August 29th and it was a disappointment. I remembered this place when it was located in Ortovero and was known for its value for money, and I've been a customer there more than once with excellent satisfaction. Last night was a disappointment. The location is in a square where the tables are quadrupled compared to the number of people who could fit in the (small) place. The food service wasn't adequate for the number of diners, and the wait between courses was too long. We sat down at 7:45 PM and left (without dessert or coffee) at 10:15 PM. The wine list had an exorbitant markup, around 80%. The seafood scialatielli were slightly spicy, the pasta was overcooked, and the pasta wasn't scialatiello. Ligurian-style rabbit, or rather, pale boiled rabbit without pine nuts or Taggiasca olives, and moreover tasteless. The photos of this dish you find on Facebook bear no resemblance to what I was served. I pointed this out when I paid, and the response was a lackluster, disinterested "sorry." Pizza made with various doughs, good. Oliva e Lavanda in Ortovero was another restaurant, nothing like this.
