Great flavors, wonderful service. Glad we had dinner here! Try there Frutti di Mare, excellent.
Such good classic Italian! Their marina / arrabbiata sauce is a MUST try if you like garlic. I love their tiramisu as well. The staff here are always so warm and treat us with the kindest hospitality. I prefer to sit outside but the inside is very nice as well (maybe slightly more formal inside).
Very enjoyable traditional Italian restaurant, food is excellent, service was very nice. The location is nice peaceful but yet busy enough to enjoy nice outdoor dinner, heaters running to take the cool night nip off. Plenty of street parking around.
First time patrons for my birthday Eve Dinner with my husband and a special couple in our neighborhood. Entering from their rear parking area I was a bit concerned, as the entrance is a bit seedy/rundown, but opening the inside door exposed an elegant, intimate and very soothing atmosphere. The service was warm, attentive and expertly stealth. Well made cocktails, homemade bread with olive oil, balsamic, and refreshing tomato bruschetta to top the bread...and then the entrees! We each chose different menu items, mine being veal Marsala with a side of perfect oil, butter and parsley spaghetti. The Marsala sauce was superb...meaty mushroom slices in that rich wine gravy made with a splash of cognac. Everyone loved their meals (how often does that happen). They heard that it was my birthday and finished the meal with surprise desert of a frozen lemon Gelato ball with a candle! PERFECT EVENING!
Ate here 3/28/2026 5:30 pm. Fantastic host at the Front Desk. We sat outside for dinner and our server and the support staff were very polite and provided excellent service. Food was delicious too.
Fantastic place to eat dinner. We were going to the place next door but they were closed and the two people inside gave us nasty looks when we tried to open the locked front door so we went to Aldente . We were greeted with big welcoming smiles. Seated immediately . The service went smoothly and we never had to ask for anything, the staff just magically showed up at the right times. The food was great and it also came out quickly and it was sooo good. Good place to visit the next time we visit the area.
Family time on this one. We had to wait because it was packed, but we sat at the bar and had drinks. The host was always reassuring and we got great seating after. The food was great. Wine paired well and service was continual and a pleasure. I think it’s worthwhile and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting top shelf Italian goodness.

We ate here during the Thursday night market. The service was amazing, and the food was the best Italian food I've had in a long time. I ordered the Caprese and I'm not a big fan of tomato but it was very good. For desert we ordered the Cannoli and Chocolate Moose Cake. They were both 10/10.

Wonderful service coupled with some good Italian fare. Standouts for us were pasta in the signature pink sauce and limoncello gelato. They had a gluten free pasta option which was perfect for one person in our party.
Went to Palm Springs in March and October of this year and dined at Al dente Trattoria both times for dinner. And, both times did not disappoint. The food was fresh, tasty, and delicious. Great menu options. Solid service and cute atmosphere. Nice outdoor space, too. I'll definitely return on my next trip to PS.
I've eaten both inside and on the patio. Both areas are inviting. The inside is cozy while the patio puts the streetscape on display. The food is very good, mostly Italian with some Italian-American influences.

The best in the valley for sure. The staff was attentive and patiently explained any and all questions regarding different dishes, meats and sauces. The service was 100% spot on. The food amazing! I had the mahi-mahi piccata and have never had better anywhere. The tirimisu was to die for. Also one of the best I've ever had. Definitely a hidden gem in the Palm Springs downtown area.
Like others have said, I too have driven right by this place for years and finally went in and had a great dinner! My aunt and I ordered the nicely priced summer pre-fix menu which was great, and my cousin ordered pasta with cream sauce from the main menu. Everything was great especially the tiramisu. Will definitely be back!
A pretty nice Italian restaurant in downtown Palm Springs, with outdoor misters, a pleasant interior with comfortable booths, and a nice little bar. My friends and I came here when we were hungry for Italian during a recent stay in the Palm Desert. They offer a large variety of sauces that can be applied to spaghetti, rigatoni, tagliatelle, etc. they also have a lot of salads, soups, and meat dishes. I ordered broccoli soup, a burrata salad, and tagliatelle with Pomodoro sauce. Everything was really fresh, though I think the burrata was the highlight for me, with the exceptionally flavorful, purplish tomatoes and the creamy cheese. The soup was all right, though slightly underwhelming, and the pasta, while perfectly cooked, lacked a bit of flavor in the pomodoro. Overall, a pretty good experience, stacking up to ~4.4/5 stars. The service was very attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was pretty good, and the food definitely had some high moments.
Great staff, makes you feel comfortable and at home. Quick service and checking in to make sure the food and experience is great. Food was delicious, especially the veal Marsala with mushrooms. But not a fan of the pesto with cream. Great outdoor space to sit and people watch.
Update 2: I have pesto sauce now :) yaaay! I think it’s their best sauce. If you like a thicker pesto I recommend scooping from the bottom to get more of the basil and garlic. Previous: I ordered celery soup, pesto, marinara, and 4 cheese sauce. I didn’t receive my pesto sauce—instead I got a different red sauce. The restaurant would not admit to making the mistake themselves even though my bag came tied and with my name and order info listed on it. They insist I get support from Uber Eats but Uber Eats will not take any action or respond either. The hostess could not get the manager to take the phone. No kind of remedy or apology offered to me. I didn’t like the white or red sauces (with the noodles I cooked at home), but the celery soup is nice to sip on. Update: Management called me back. I sent an Uber Courier now to try to pick up pesto sauce. Will update again once I receive it.
Overall great experience. We had the Caesar salad, burrata, bolognese with meatballs and the Quattro formaggio with shrimp. Great service. One star deduction because the bread was really lackluster for an Italian restaurant. Otherwise, fantastic food.
I ordered the Primavera with vegetables in the white sauce. It was good. Liked the sauce, but there wasn't a lot of vegetables. My husband got the special. Today was swordfish with roasted potatoes and cooked spinach. He enjoyed it. The fish was prepared perfectly. He even ate the spinach. Before the meal you are served bread with tomatoes. It was very good!

My husband took me there as a surprise for our anniversary and the Food was Wonderful for the most part. Unfortunately they don't serve my favorite wine so after trying a couple of different ones I opted for just water. Also the reason for the 4 stars was the potatoes were Over done. For the price of the meal I would expect A bit better. But Overall the service was wonderful and I enjoyed my evening.
We stopped on the patio for drinks between a play, HAIR, and dinner reservations. The service was excellent and accommodating. We'll be back to try the food.
Cute patio. Food was average, nothing special. Everything is “ala-cart” … salad is extra. I asked for a cup of hot water with lemon and was told I’d be charged for tea, even though I didn’t order tea. When I pointed out that cold water was free, and asked why hot water was $4, the server mentioned the lemon. When I asked if I could get the water without the lemon, he said he’d see what he could do. He came back with hot water without lemon. I wasn’t charged. The bread was delicious and the bruschetta topping was a nice touch. Service was pleasant, but for $29 with tax and tip for a plate of noodles, I’d probably go somewhere else.

After reconfirming our reservation five times for pre-fixe valentine's dinner, the entire experience was lame. They ran out of entrees, desserts, didn't seem to remember drink orders. It was half empty and early, but they ran out of steak?
Came here after finding other places had an hour wait to get a table. Staff are really nice and attentive. Food however was lacking. The bread and tomato (salsa?) was tasty. Ordered a salad to start that was just a pile of leaves on a plate, didn't look all that appetising. I ordered prawns with a side of veg and potatoes - the prawns had little flavour, the potatoes were al dente (should have seen that coming) and the veg was a pile of overcooked spinach. My friend had veal with mushrooms, which looked like vomit and came with tomato pasta - looked like a combination a child would put together. He ate it, but we wouldn't go back.
Unfortunately, I don’t recommend the food here, especially for takeaway. The caprese pasta had no basil and barely any mozzarella. The burrata was the size of a small fork (which, for the price, was very disappointing).
