House Combo Plate has everything I’ve been looking forward for Mediterranean lunch: juicy chicken, flavorful lamb, and chewy beef. I couldn’t wait to dig in when the food was served on the table. Classic Hummus was tasty and addictive with the right amount of seasonings: well balanced spices and mild saltiness. My partner and I literally ate it with everything we ordered on the table. Our server was polite and friendly, and the ambience of the restaurant was delightful. The interior decoration looks great too, adding more flavor to the dining experience.

Absolutely loved my meal at Hummus! I ordered the salmon and shakshouka, and both were rich, flavorful, and felt indulgent while still being healthy. The shakshouka came bubbling hot with perfectly cooked eggs, warm bread, and a side of olives—comforting yet elevated. It genuinely felt like high-end dining at mid-tier prices. The atmosphere was calm and stylish, with both cozy indoor seating and outdoor options available. A fantastic spot whether you’re looking for a hearty solo meal or a relaxed brunch with friends.

A must visit fine dining restaurant in the Stanford shopping center. The food quality is amazing supported by customer-friendly service. Vegetarian options are good. Cost per head is on the higher end between USD 30 and 40..Bit surprised to note that have paper napkins instead of cloth. Nevertheless highly commendable food and recommended. Would love to visit again.

This place is one of the best in the Bay area we've been a loyal customer for the mountain view location we love their breakfast but here is totally different experience the atmosphere and decorations are very beautiful, minimalist and well thought of, the food presentation is great and the taste matches the presentation if not better (one of the only Mediterranean places who cares about the presentation ) and finally the owners are very welcoming, kind and generous. I recommend trying everything there and you're not going to be disappointed . MOUSA IS THE BEST

Tasty food in the Stanford shopping center. Solid menu with balanced options, they have a bar as well as table seating. Nice spot.

Upscale with beautiful interior, this restaurant is a pleasure to dine in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is cooked to perfection, with a shoutout on the steak kabobs. The cut seems to be filet or tenderloin, a much better quality than what is generally served in most Mediterranean restaurants. We ordered the house combo plate, zucchini fritters and pistachio baklava with lavender cream. The pita is unique and delicious, more bread like in texture. Every dish was superb! While visiting Redwood City, Palo Alto and Menlo Park over the last two weeks I’ve eaten lots of Mediterranean and my favorite is this one! Highly recommend!

I've honestly never felt this warmth and happy eating out. The food was incredible, chicken, lamb, gyro, everything was so flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and tender. The bread, hot sauce, and garlic sauce were amazing too. Definitely try the house platter; the kebab that came with it was like a cherry on top. And the kunefe... wow. It was an experience. Huge thanks to Furqan for the great service. I'll definitely be coming back.

What a lovely addition to the stanford shopping center! Among all the kebabs, the chicken kebab is our fav! - chicken kebab - classic hummus - cucumber lemonade - scrambled eggs with sausage (brunch item) Chicken kebab is our favorite, we ordered many times, and each time is consistently good! Classic hummus, great, who doesn’t love classic hummus! The scrambled egg we hope it can be slightly larger in portion, but still very flavorful! Oh and the cucumber lemonade is refreshing too!

I am personally not a fan of the positive of seasoning and salt. That underscores much of Mediterranean gastronomical persuasions, but respect the art enough to know that these guys will deliver. The servers were respectful and had a dutiful energy about them insofar as they seem to take pride and the commitment to good service. Was it the most excellent Mediterranean food I’ve ever had in my life? No. But if you’re in the area and you want a very memorable, aesthetic restaurant experience in a vibe-forward, sort of way, you have to pay them a visit.

Hands down the best, and we've tried most of them. Get the appetizer sampler and convince me I'm wrong. The meats were juicy and tender and perfectly spiced. The baklava is buttery and cones with this amazing cream with lavender.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this location! The salmon wrap is perfectly grilled every time! It's tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Their homemade lemonade is solid, and their mocktails are amazing! The hummus has a perfect consistency. The service is excellent and the staff are attentive and friendly throughout. Unfortunately, I’ve had a negative experience at another location in Mountain View, but here, the food is consistently perfect every time. This location truly stands out for quality, taste, and overall experience.

7/27/24 lunch. Wait time was 15 minutes at 12:30 for a party of 4. Service to order was quick and easy. Good selection of food and drinks. Our lunch arrived within about 10 minutes after ordering. Lunch dishes were presented well and were very good. Waiting to clear our table was a little long to the point where we had to waive down our waiter to ask them to clear our dishes. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant.

We actually started our meal search at True Food Kitchen. They were short-staffed and we didn’t have any service so we searched up alternatives and noticed a “new” dining option. Actually Hummus has been open for 4 months. The restaurant was packed and there was a short waiting queue that took seats in the cafe area. The cafe section had no desserts or snacks in the display case. The service was very friendly but we wondered at some point whether they forgot our eggs. Ratings for dishes can be found below. The high ceilings and green plants give a spacious feeling to the restaurant although the tables are pretty close to each other.

Authentic Mediterranean food y’all! Specifically Turkish! They serve everything fresh. The baklava with lavander cream is a real good twist to the dessert in lieu of the clotted cream/kaymak that normally comes with it. Place newly opened in Stanford Mall right beside the japanese restaurant Taro San. This place popped up when i googled places to eat in Stanford Mall - and what a find it was! It’s a teaser, a peek at Turkish cuisine if you will, if you can’t go to the actual country. Staff are warm and friendly and very attentive. Food can be shared amongst a group.

Was excited to check this place out! Interior is beautiful, set up on patio was really nice. Food presentation was great (I want all those ceramics!). Greek fries had very little feta and a few green onions. I asked for extra feta and our friendly server brought a small dish out quickly; really helped the 🍟. Will definitely be back to try the mezze plates.

My wife got the lamb kebab plate and I got the Mediterranean street bowl. The lamb was really tender. The street bowl is a lot of food. The service was not what I was use to. The staff will give you all the time you need and will not come over unless you get their attention. It is nice not to feel rushed. It was a tiny bit frustrating when we were ready for the check. This was not bad, just not what you see in a typical American restaurant. The atmosphere is plesant the bright. I did not expect to see televisions on the walls with the NFL on. I know it was Sunday, but it did not really fit the rest of the decor. Overall the food was great. We will be back,

Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen has a lot going for it visually. The indoor and outdoor patio seating is beautiful, with warm colors, lots of lighting fixtures, and plenty of potted plants, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't quite live up to the ambiance for me. Our server was pleasant enough but inattentive. He took our order, brought the food, and then only reappeared when it was bill time. We had to flag him down for water refills. We started with the falafel appetizer, which was a bit of a disappointment. The falafel itself wasn't as crispy as I would have liked, and the flavor was overly salty. On a brighter note, the side of fries was huge, easily enough for 2-3 people to share. They were crispy. For my main course, I ordered the chicken kebab with rice and mixed greens. While the portion size was decent, the price felt a bit high for what you get. The dish consisted of seven pieces of chicken, a plate half-filled with greens, a watered-down tahini sauce, and rice that still had a bit of a crunch, indicating it might have been undercooked. Overall, Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen gets 3 stars from me. The atmosphere is lovely, but the food and service could be improved. With a little more attention to detail on flavor and execution, this could be a great spot for Mediterranean fare in Palo Alto.

Got home, one of the proteins for tacos was supposed to be beef and lamb. I got two chicken orders instead. I'm a regular, but will be irregular or a rare visitor from now on. The tacos were cold and it only took 2 minutes to drive it home. :(

I ordered a beef and lamb wrap from this restaurant for pick-up. When I got home, I saw that the greens inside the wrap were almost rotten. It was disgusting and completely disrespectful. You’re putting greens that should be thrown in the trash into customers’ wraps. The funny part is that the side salad that came with it was fresh and green. What a disgraceful business.

The chief of waitresses was not welcoming and rude to us. I hope he is not like this everyday. We asked to put together two small table for 3 of us but he didn’t accept. I don’t know why, they were enough space there. The waiters are the best part of this place. Very helpful keep checking you and filling your water once it finished. The food was way below than expected. I had lahmacun and Iskender(Alexander!) and unfortunately it did not satisfied. Iskender’s meat was fair, sauce was not tasty and salty, bread was burned. I was so excited about here but nope. I don’t go there again or take my friends.
