The staff was very nice and polite. I just liked everything the food was delicious. I would like to Thank the manager Pam again for helping us out with a group of people she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was good for us. And that means a lot to me. Oh how I love Sirloin Stocade,I've eaten there 3 times already since I've been back. I like a place of different varieties of food to pick and choose from I feel like a king at a feast. God is good! It was nice food was hot and tasty. I found a piece of hair in my plate with my bacon. And all cooks had on hair nets. So I figured it came from a customer. Put anyway I told Pam the general manager and she apologized to me and was very my respectful and told the cooks to make me a fresh plate of what I had.

Went today for my birthday today. Group of 5. The place was busy. This is a favorite place of mine. Today it was fantastic. The meats were great, chicken was always fresh. My wife loves salad bar and it was filled, topped off and looked great. Best meal we've had there ever.

My husband and I have eaten here on several occasions over the last two months. We are from Oklahoma. The manager is the most precious, professional, compassionate and caring individual we’ve ever dealt with in the restaurant industry. Pam goes above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated for our business. The staff is wonderful, always asking if everything is okay or if you need refills. Our family has attended with us once and they loved it. We definitely have made this our go-to restaurant when we are in Paris!

A hidden jem in Paris! These days buffet dining is almost just a no. But every once in awhile I find myself at one. With many choices of comfort foods to choose from, there really is something for everyone. The deserts are not from a frozen box they are made every day! We enjoyed everything else and had about 4 plates each! Pro Tip: chocolate pudding on the bottom, chocolate ice cream on top. Your welcome. Called in and talked to Pam to get a to go order of a few large sides, rolls and a pie. Pam was so nice and helpful. When I arrived she made sure everything was fresh and ready to go. I took my sister and her son out to eat on Mother's day. We originally had our taste buds set on Magle's Grill but forgot they're closed on Sundays. The next place my sister chose was Sirloin Stockade. I was a little nervous because the last time we came here the food was subpar and honesty a let down. We left there still hungry 😕. After we paid a reasonable price, we started to fill our plates. My first was all salad. I know that's not the smart way to eat at a buffet but I just wanted something healthy. It was good. I also got steak and fried chicken. It was so juicy and hot. My sister decided to join me with a salad of her own. She also had dressing,a plate of rolls and steak. My nephew went with Mac and cheese,pizza,green beans, black eyed peas,chicken and a plate of dinner rolls. All and all, it was a nice meal and a good job turning things around.

I had high hopes for this restaurant. The food was adequate, with numerous buffet choices. But very little that was noteworthy - however , when you call yourself The Sirloin Stockade ... STEAK should damn well be served on the buffet ... apparently not on week nights , HUGELY disappointed... I'd say this was kinda on par with a Golden Corral with a slightly more practical layout .. the potato bar was a nice touch despite the way overdone potatoes in attendance- and where were the bacon bits?? If it sounds like I'm ripping on the place , maybe I am ... I was seriously disappointed at the lack of ready steak as an option ... I left full , so it couldn't have been that horrible

Not quite what i remember it used to be when i was a kid. They had a large variety of food, but it didn't seem as top quality as it used to be. The food reminded me of more like prepackaged instead of fresh made. Some of it was a little bland. The service was good, but it was about 80° in the restaurant. Not very pleasant to dine when you're sweating.

I guess the food quality is based on who is there in the kitchen. The first time we went, the food was decent. This last time we went, the food wasn't even worth the money that was charged to eat there. We pretty much wasted $30 plus for the two of us to eat there. The salad was old and needed to be thrown in the trash, but they had it out for customers to eat. To be honest, the only thing that we thought was decent was the steak and baked potato. We don't plan on going back.

Buffet is decent but steaks are not good at all. From a place that has sirloin in name you would expect better steaks. I ordered an 18 oz cowboy ribeye came out as 12 oz ribeye rare not medium rare. They put season salt on it and it is overpowering.

Went through our first plate of food and realized that the waitress hadn't even been by to handle drinks. I finally got up and fixed my wife and I something to drink. 5 minutes later the waitress came through serviced the other 3 tables waiting on drinks. She never came back through to handle refills. The buffet is good though and I have had good service in the past.

My husband and I visited this place just to try a new buffet out. Let me start off by saying our server , Lolita, was amazing ❤️ however, the variety of food available (on a Saturday around 1:30 pm) was very disappointing to say the least and they still had what was left from breakfast on the bar...it was very dry and you could tell it had been sitting for a while. Strongly suggest if you are going to spend the money anyway you should go to a golden corral...they are basically the same price , but golden corral gives you alot more option! My family will probably not return. We made a trip on Saturday from Antlers, because it was BBQ day. We arrived at 5pm and they were out of Brisket. It was 5$ more per head. Got the steak I wanted! The chef even brought it to me the way I ordered it *****. I’d drive this area restaurant a five star but I can’t reason one of the men in charge of changing out the food let the tongs fall to the floor picked them off the floor and placed them back on the counter, gross! She came back and told us the tips were on the grill. At 29 minutes the cooks brought our order out. The food was good minus the wait. No refills offers on my iced tea (My glass was empty.) Section needed to be cleaned up (floor) 2 napkins and dropped food under 2 tables. Never saw a manager until we were leaving. I guess she was in the office the whole time. I don’t know the name of the waitress, she did greet us but never gave her name. I only gave 2 stars because the food was acceptable.

From good to bad: My order arrived in a timely manner. Baked chicken-- I was told it was great and it was. Well seasoned, juicy, and I would definitely eat it again. Rolls--Pretty bland and this is coming from a bread guy. Mac and Cheese--Not enough cheese for the 4 cups of macaroni but that might actually have been a good thing. The cheese was thin(not quite watery) and flavorless. Broccoli--The singular piece of broccoli they gave me was a massive cut from floret to stalk. The stalk is not something you'd generally want to eat, though I did try lol. It was tough, fibrous, and not worth the effort. The piece as a whole was cooked to hell and back, all color leeched from it and it didn't seem as though it was in the same kitchen as salt or butter. Just hot, wet broccoli from the pot to your plate.

Walked in and there wasn't a single clean table. Floors were covered in food all around the tables. The plates were wet. Dried spaghetti, along with other food that had been sitting out way too long. I hate this restaurant. Everything is sticky, it costs way too much, and to top it all off everything I've eaten from the buffet that requires being cooked tastes at least SOMEWHAT like an egg. There is NO REASON for FRIED FISH to taste like EGGS WITH FISH SAUCE. My sister said her chicken tasted "like eggs" and "unfamiliar" also. I don't even want to know why they tasted that way. The rolls are the only thing worth eating, and that's not saying much. You can get better bread and butter at several other restaurants that don't manage to make you regret stepping through the doors.

I have been here several times. On one occasion, I observed the manager, Crystal, coming out of the bathroom stalls and did not stop to wash her hands. She then proceeded to go back out on the floor and touch the food with no gloves on her hands. Just this last Friday, I observed another server come over to my server, Dey, and proceed to yell at her and act very aggressive with her in front of everyone. There seems to be an atmosphere of aggression towards their black employees. I felt very bad for the way they treated her. It makes me not want to go back.

My teenage daughters and I went there for dinner last night (Saturday). The cashier had hickeys all over her neck and wasn't very friendly... to each their own abt the hickeys.... we picked and table and went to the buffet.... nothing at all looked any where close to fresh. None of the sides looked like they had even been stirred in hours. Out of everything there, the only thing edible was the roast, mashed potato's and barely the macaroni and cheese. I tried a piece of meatloaf... it was do HARD I spit it out. And I had picked a piece from the middle... not an edge piece. My daughter who loves chicken, got a piece of chicken, took one bite and spit it out. She said it was like rubber. My other daughter tried the potato bites, they were hard as a rock. She ended up eating 2 baked potatoes and 1 slice of pizza because that's all that was appealing to her. The broccoli wasn't even green anymore. I don't know what that was! We love buffets because we don't always agree on what we want, so a variety is good and we were visiting my oldest daughter who is attending PJC and we wanted a nice dinner. Needless to say, WE WONT BE BACK.... do NOTTTTT recommend this place at all!!!!!! They should take more pride in being one of the only buffets. Not to mention when we left there were 2 workers at the front door outside smoking, so when we opened the door we were bombarded with cigarette smoke.

Our glasses never went low, and she brought my steak to me. Couple next to us had found plastic in her chicken. Wasn’t happy with my experience. But, good job to Carley.

Was gross to me as I was sitting at are table eating I was watching the buffet and there was a bunch of kids not using the utensil to get the food from the buffet instead they was getting what they wanted with there hands I lost my appetite after watching it multiple times.

Food is gross and the steak was way over cooked. Probably one of the worst buffers I've ever seen. Chicken looked like it came straight out of the microwave along with the poor excuse of hamburger meat they call taco meat. The pasta was an insult to eat and looked it it was days old. I suppose if you had been starving for weeks and this was your only option you might consider it. I do not understand how a restaurant can get away such bad quality of food.

The only stockade that should be anywhere near this restaurant is the one they stick whoever made these hard as rocks beef tips. Seriously, what’s the point of asking if you want them medium rare if you’re gonna cook them till they are hard as rocks? And if you’re going to say it’s mushroom gravy, at least throw a mushroom in there. Oh and they forgot my ranch dressing.

No way the hot food was held at 145' temperature. The food has been good in the past. This time it was awful.

I grew up eating here. Man, what happened? Restaurant is filthy, service was pretty bad, and the food is absolutely disgusting! Gross! Never seen a buffet where 2 of the main entree selections are hot dog weiners and grilled cheese sandwiches. Lol. What a huge disappointment. I guess great things can't last forever. Sad.

We stopped in to have dinner and immediately upon walking in and paying it was a bad experience. The hostess was rude and didn’t seem to be enthused about having to do her job. I brushed it off and went to find our seats. The restaurant wasn’t extremely busy. We didn’t order anything special. We tried several things from the buffet. Fish, meatloaf, steak(which you have to request and wait 10-15 mins), sides, chicken, etc. and NONE of it was good. There were things on the buffet that tasted like the bland meatloaf. Our waitress only refilled my drink one time so my glass sat empty for most of my visit. Part of my family ended up feeling sick after eating here. Everything we had was either blan or way over salted. I am very unhappy with our experience with eating here. I think the place needs some severe improvement. It needs to be cleaned, friendlier, and the food needs some attention.

Floor is hazardously greasy. Not very clean at all. Most of the food was okay. Fried chicken was outstanding. In fact all of the chicken was great. Veg was over cooked with no flavor. Baked goods were okay. Rolls were good. Service was outstanding. Close for two weeks and power wash everything.

Food was sub par, the grill cook was nasty to me when I asked for my steak, and the pot roast was dryer than a cardboard box. 2/10 will not eat there ever again. $16 for the buffet and a drink, I should have gone to the Chinese buffet 😒

Absolutly horrible. Empty bins on buffet the entire time we were there. Raw rolls with no color on the. Raw pie crust. A girl wearing a blue bath towel turban style on her head working the bakery area. No butter chicken. Only dark meat and a few wings in the fried chicken bin. I went up to buffet when I saw him dump the fresh fried chicken into the bin, there were no breasts cooked. No baked potatoes on the buffet. The only reason we even went there was because I got an email about their summer picnic items on buffet Monday thru Friday- ALL DAY. Siders. Ribs. Kabobs. Cupcakes. Hot Dogs. Guess how many items where on the buffet? 0, zip, nada. When I asked my server, she said ribs were only weekends and the had had cupcakes 1 day over the weekend. But none of the other foods listed. She said she would send the manager over. She came back by and said the manager would be right over. 20 minutes later, we were still waiting but had to leave. The only reason I gave them 1 star was because our server was so apologetic and sweet. **edit**heard from distract manager almost immediately. He apologized profusely. He offered to comp us a meal, but he didn't follow through as I have not heard from him since.

The place need a deep clean. Next time u go look up at the ceiling fan and the vents. The floor is gross windows on doors covered with paper. Chicken teriyaki was so dry that I couldn't even stab it with a fork. Meatloaf flavor qas so strong and nasty. Mashed potatoes tasted like the boxed ones. Sausage slices tasted gross. Must be a cheap sausage. Pot roast in the soup area tasted like canned soup warmed up. The pork roast was so dry. They said tonight was oriental night but they only had orange chicken and spring rolls that I did not dare try. They seemed like they get them frozen and microwave them. The only decent thing was the breading on the chicken and the fish and the beans. The kitchen guys kept coming out without hats or hairnets. Not trying to be judgemental but the guys seemed dressed like they were picked up off the street. You can tell the difference between someone who is dirty from cooking and someone who is just dirty. Felt bad for the waitress cause she was doing a good job. This restaurant needs to announce makeover before I come again. I only came because the name of the restaurant caught my attention

This was the very WORST food I have seen served in public in a LONG time. I dont know how they stay in business. The restaurant was nasty, the food was nasty, the bathrooms were nasty. All around AWFUL experience. DO NOT GO!!!! Plus it was $64 for 2 adults and 2 kids. DON'T DO IT!!!

Don’t Go!! This franchise needs to be closed. The Sirloin Stockade in Murray Ky is excellent the one in Paris Tx was disgusting. Don’t think about eating here!

This is ridiculous this meatloaf has been sitting out for way longer then the 4 hour window they should do a better job at rotating food every 4 hours instead of just adding water

Not sure what happened to this place, in the past it was very good. This time, food was cold, under seasoned, pot roast, carrot's & potatoes were mush, corn bread was hard as a rock, pie & cookies tasted old, sausage was burnt, Brisket was tough not fit to eat.

I’ve been multiple times and each time is slightly worse, but today was by far the worst. Ordered milk to drink - the milk is served in the kids cups with a lid - kids say it’s gross, I open and it’s chunky and clearly sour looking. When I informed the server, she said it’s not expired on the container, and it’s the only gallon they have. Asked for a kids cup with just a 1/4 water and no ice - she served a toddler an overflowing cup of water lol. As usual, most of the plates were dirty and we had to get several before finding one that isn’t covered in food already. The waiters walked around the entire time with fingers on the inside of the cups to restock the drink station - then use the cup itself with unwashed bare hands to scoop ice from below the soda machine. The dessert bar featured puddings and crumbled Oreos or nilla crackers - which were crumbled by bare hands after the employee wiped her hands off on her apron, then proceeded to get pie from the oven and then without washing hands again, serve the pie to the dessert plates and touches every single piece. No pizza on the pizza space because “we have no pepperoni” as if cheese pizza doesn’t exist. COLD insides of the chicken enchiladas. Jalepenos in the pickles. All of the fruit was gross looking and not at all the right texture. The cookies had cloth fibers attached to them. And as if the food handling weren’t already bad enough, the woman at the front was utterly rude and continued to speak over me as I tried to tell her what we wanted to drink and the ages of the kids. I always love a buffet, but not when it’s a cross contaminated playground for foodborne illnesses because nothing is at the right temperature. The butter rolls were good - usually are. Glad I could eat bread for over $40 🙄 Lamar County really needs to rethink the A on that building.
