This Starbucks always makes my drink correctly and there always so sweet! (Unlike the Starbucks by food 4 less)
If you're craving for a Starbucks coffee, this is the spot, and it's super easy to get to Hwy 101 and Hwy 46. The staff was super friendly and the food was ready when they asked. I'd say you should put your napkins in the bag, especially if you're ordering through the drive-thru. Travelers who are passing by and want a quick cup of coffee and meal don't have time to come back and get the necessary condiments.
Whenever I cannot find a local coffee shop that has good cappuccino, I can always rely on Starbucks. Small location that is usually crowded, but they are very quick and efficient while still making good quality coffee.
Love the drive through as the roses in the garden give a pleasing approach. This time I ordered through the app and it asked me to go inside. Hoping for quick approach I was greeted by barista, Ella. She just finished and handed me my latte. Noticing the rest of my order was delayed by the cashier she hustled to fulfill my order. The drink was delicious and customized just as I'd ordered. Her service and attentiveness was truly note worthy.
Great place to get a quick beverage and snacks. Perfect location. Close to major streets and freeway. Many people use the drive-through. Staff are friendly and efficient. Some seats outside and benches seating, which wasn't comfortable. This is a very small Starbucks. It was close to the motel, so it was super convenient.
I ordered the fish and chips and some clam chowder and my wife ordered chicken planks and fries. My chowder was really good I thoroughly enjoyed that. Then the main course came out shortly after. The fish was cooked just right it was hot and tasted great the tartar sauce they provided tasted pretty good also. My wife really enjoyed the chicken but she could not eat it all and had to take some home. We don't get over to Paso Robles all that often but when we do we enjoy stopping at Margie's diner.
Don your black leather jacket, slick back your hair, and head to all-day breakfast at Margie’s Diner, a throw-back to simpler times. Swiveling on the padded stools at the long counter (you have to sit at the counter in a joint like this), we wolfed down the generous eggs & bacon platter, with four lean, crispy strips and two pieces of real-buttered toast, and a stuffed burrito. The lunch menu had all the sandwiches you’d expect, and a wide selection of burgers. There are also some classic diner dinners, like meat loaf, pork chops, and ribeye, which you can wash down with a cold beer. And of course milkshakes (malted or straight), rootbeer floats, and American Pie.
Very good food and service! I got the Philly sandwich in picture #1. I got the onion rings instead of fries. they were big and SUPER yummy. The sandwich was also yummy, had the perfect amount of peppers and onions. The next morning we had breakfast there. In picture #2 I had the chili cheese omelette with the biscuits and gravy subbed for potatoes and toast. The omelette was great, just wish it was a bit bigger. The chili tasted excellent. The gravy for the biscuits was a little bland, so next time I would get the potatoes instead.
Hands down one of the best breakfast/lunch places in Paso Robles. I will always recommend this place to come out and eat. I came out to have some breakfast. I had chipotle burrito and my wife a Monterrey omelette and French toast with berries. The services was quick and staff would check with me to see if I needed anything. Portions are big and delicious. Later that day I came for their famous shakes, onions rings and burgers. 10/10 in all food items!!!! This is a family own restaurant! Let’s support our local Paso Robles business.
My man and I stopped here on the way to Pismo Beach for lunch and it was absolutely amazing. It was definitely the best burgers we’ve EVER had. Definitely Try the onion rings. The service was impeccable. We will definitely return. Sunday, Nov 14, 2021 we returned for breakfast on our way home. The owner remembered us, but that’s not all. We had an incredible breakfast. If your coming through town, put this restaurant on your list. It’s the best!
Walked inside to order coffee. The inside was dirty. Tables, floor, and the window separating the coffee machines from the public. My coffee tasted great, and the service was good. I'm sure I hit the store after a big morning rush. Someone should have been in the lobby cleaning.
Margie’s Diner is our go-to breakfast spot in Paso Robles. Every time we’re in town, we make a point to eat here because it’s always consistent and delicious also the ambiance is great. Service is fast and attentive, the menu has plenty of great options, and the fresh orange juice is a must. Parking is easy too, there’s always space available. A great way to start the day.
A wonderful spot with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the chili verde omellete, and it was bursting with flavor. The combination of tender, well-seasoned pork and spicy green chili made for a delicious and satisfying meal. The food was overall quite good, and I was especially impressed by the friendly and attentive service. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly to ensure we were enjoying our meal.
Had to make a quick pit stop in Paso Robles. Decided to grab brunch. Found this diner on Google maps and decided to check them out. There was a little bit of a wait. The guy at reception desk made a comment to his coworkers that weekends are always busy. It was a very cute little diner. You could wait for a table or grab a seat at the bar. We waited no more than 10 minutes. We were greeted and our drink order was taken. Then a couple minutes passed and the waitress came to take our order. I ordered the country fried steak, my dad got the mushroom burger and daughter got bacon and eggs kids meal n I got the churro waffle for us to share. The food was great good size portions. We were surprised at how many mushrooms came on the burger. My dad did mention he wished the mushrooms had some seasoning but still good. I was surprised the churro waffle didn't have any cinnamon or sugar like a churro but my daughter was excited for the ice cream on top. Overall a good experience. If we ever stop in Paso Robles it's definitely worth checking out again.
I hadn't been to Margie's Diner in close to 15 years. Not to say that there was a problem with them back then, I am hardly on that side of town. I went on a Sunday for breakfast and had a great experience, we were seated quickly and tended. The food was good and I enjoyed everything I got and tried(I got the Cowboy Breakfast and the missus got the Margie's Slam Bam with chocolate chip pancakes) both meals had good flavor. The atmosphere was nice, the wide open windows allows you to watch traffic pass by, and to be honest I don't know how I felt about that, I don't know if it was distracting or I hadn't experienced that before. I'll for sure be coming back to try out lunch or dinner
We stayed at the Best Western and got three 5 dollar discount coupons for Margie‘s Diner for breakfast. We went there with three people and ordered two items and my daughter and wife shared their breakfast. The food was good, not great. When we wanted to pay the waitress just accepted two of our three coupons, because we just had two meals. But then the manager came and showed great customer service. He gave us the proper discount. Therefore this review gets an extra star for really good customer service.
Clean bathrooms that are gender neutral. The place is a little chaotic with the amount of people coming through. The service is about on par for the busy location. I took a picture of the sign out front that they serve military, but they don't offer a discount. Sounds like pandering to me. The green tea I ordered was fine.
We ordered a tall soy chai and a grande coffee with a splash of sweet cream. They forgot the grande coffee altogether and gave me a tall soy latte instead. And it wasn’t even that busy yet.
It's the Starbucks right in the middle of our trip coming down the 101 right where the 46 splits off to go to the 5 freeway. It's a good little stop, but the bathroom is always packed
Disappointed in this location as they have removed all the interior seating. No chance to relax and enjoy your drink. It’s just really geared for drive through. Won’t be stopping here again.
My drink was well made. The line for service wasn't well defined and we were waved to the counter only to find out she didn't take orders and we had to go to the back of the line and wait again. Bummer, but it only took a few extra minutes out of the day. Would have been nice if she would have just gone ahead and taken the order if she was going to call us up.
I'm a Starbucks partner. I've been one on and off since I was 18 and I'm almost 40. Both of my drinks were made wrong. I should have spoken up because I watched one of the partners make my matcha iced tea latte and said that's not right in my head. My daughter drank it but she said it didn't taste right. I got an ice gingerbread chai and I'm pretty sure they forgot the gingerbread in the cold foam. All around it was not a good experience. It took a really long time to get the drinks because they're more concerned about the drive-thru times than they are about the customers in the store. I've been to this location quite a few times and I'm absolutely Never pleased. You guys need to coach your baristas a little bit better because they weren't the friendliest. You had a manager or something in the lobby doing a meeting and I really wish I would said something. Your baristas were really dismissive. I watched a guy get super frustrated as he asked for something and didn't get it and then asked a different person to get it and even still he was really frustrated I get it's holiday season but honestly as a store I see why people say Starbucks. You need to get better. Because that was me as a partner of Starbucks at your store
This was supposed to be a 5/5 stars review, but need to knock it down—see update below. Original: No question about it, would come again. I was in the mood for a diner style restaurant while passing through Paso Robles. This was a highly rated spot and I wanted to give it a try. It is hard to explain, but the food tasted “real” and of a high quality. It was very delicious. I got the avocado, mushroom, and cheese omelette; tasty and filling. My friend got the chili verde omelette with beans on the side and that looked incredible. It was great food that hit the spot. Update: I left a generous tip in the 20%-25% range. When the final charge was posted to my credit card, it appears they helped themselves to an extra dollar…. No where was it mentioned there was a credit card fee or any sort of fees. So not sure why they added an extra dollar. I want to believe it was purely an accident without bad intentions, but this is the first time this has ever happened and it does not leave a good taste in my mouth.
I have ordered from this Starbucks, a couple times a week over the years ever since the remodel, it is quite difficult to go through the drive-through as their sensor never works to order so you go around to the window and order and it takes twice as long. The Starbucks is also out of products quite often. I am never one to write bad reviews that this really needs to get fixed. I know I’m not the only one that this has happened to. I’m sure it happens daily.
We ordered our drinks extra hot. They were lukewarm. I paid for an extra pump of vanilla syrup for my latte and it was the weakest vanilla latte I've ever had. We won't be spending our money there anymore.
Will never return! Hours on door says Close at 8pm. Arrived at 7:45 and the doors were locked. Staff said floor closes at 7:30, drive thru at 8pm. Went next door for a quick bite and restroom, returned to drive thru at 7:55… and they were closed and refused to open the window to speak to me. 6 workers in there were making drinks for themselves before they went home for the weekend. If I owned this Starbucks I’d fire the entire Friday evening staff. Unacceptable service.
I don’t know if this is relevant only to the girls that work at the drive thru window..but this place has gone extremely downhill. They basically shove the items at you and leave the window immediately. You have to sit there for MINUTES before they come back to the window and rudely ask you if you need something. This used to be my favorite Starbucks in town but they lost my business.
I buy from this Starbucks weekly. Most days everything food/drinks is good. Some days my food is not edible. Which is really unfortunate when I'm in a hurry to get back to work. I am then stuck with food that I can't even eat. I ordered the ham and Swiss baguette often, most of the time the bread is soft and cooked well other times the bread is rock hard cause they over cook it. I would also like to add I live a few blocks over from the Starbucks so it takes me about 2 minutes to get home.my job is a few blocks over as well.
I bought a Venti Carmel Frappuccino at this location and the girl that helped me was rude to be working in a place like this and the drink was just ice didn’t taste like the Frappuccino that I would usually buy. I would no longer be going to this location. Its was a waste of money. I don’t recommend going here at all.
The bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in awhile and my drink order was done poorly. I ordered an iced green tea peach lemonade with 2 scoops of matcha added. He simply put the matcha powder at the bottom rather than shaking it so it's all just clumped at the bottom (stuck past the point that swirling will help). He also started trying to take my order while his back was turned to me and seemed annoyed when I didn't respond. But how was I supposed to know he was talking to me? Never had this kind of issue at a Starbucks before.
The dirtiest Starbucks I have ever seen. Started with the glass doors being grubby and dirty, walking to an overflowing trash. Dirty bench seating that looked like someone wore their wet shoes on it. Pieces of paper napkins, straw wrappers on the floor. It was completely unswept. For as early as it was, it was more than clear that the night shift did nothing before leaving. The sinks for washing your hands had grubby tiles and pieces of toilet paper or paper towels on the ground. My guess was the cashier was new. He was an absolute delight and competent in his customer service. The general manager may want to pay a visit and see how that store can be supported.
I usually don't leave reviews but I visited from out of town and this was the worst Starbucks ive been too. Manager was extremely rude. I go to Starbucks daily at multiple locations in the central valley. I know the policy changed about adding inclusions to water and charging for a tea which is understandable but since that policy changed I have had no issue at any other location paying extra and ordering a side on inclusions as long as im ordering a drink that has it already included. I asked for a cannon ball lemonade with extra dragon fruit inclusions on the side simply because the fruit gets soggy and I like to add more later in the day. Its never been an issue at any other location. I usually pay the extra fee and its put in a pup cup. I was told I could pay for the extra but they would HAVE to put it in the drink NOW vs on the side. complete power trip. Ridiculous.
