Came back cold and hungry from night tour of Rome. Walked into this small cosy restaurant to thaw out and get a quick bite. It did not disappoint! Ordered bruschetta and spaghetti with pomodoro sauce, and bread. Our server, Madad, was very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed our meal!
We loved this little bar. Found by complete chance on our first night. A guy came in and played the piano and his mate sang and it was a lovely evening. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. We came back on our last night. Can’t comment on the food as we ate elsewhere but everything else was great especially the staff.
My friends and I had stumbled upon this restaurant as our first meal in Rome and we couldn’t have been happier. Everything we ordered was incredible, from the food and drinks- to the relaxing ambience. The server that was wearing green was very welcoming and kind! Highly recommend this place!
So good. It’s for tourists? I’M A TOURIST and so are you. It was delicious. Heaven for my gluten-free partner. Outstanding wine by the glass. Delicious homemade pasta and GLUTEN FREE breads and pasta. This is worth your time and your money. The snobs don’t know what they are talking about.
Fantastic place! We tried 6 dishes. Almost everything can be made gluten free! Most importantly, they have gluten free lasagna. My siliac kiddo hasn't had lasagna in years, and he was so thrilled to have it! They fully expected us to order a ton a food Traveling with teenagers. We did not feel rushed and were invited to stay longer. Great food!!
After checking into our Pantheon adjacent hotel on Easter Sunday, we were hungry and it was late. After being turned away at a few restaurants nearby due to the hour, we were welcomed in by the amazing staff at Vini & Cucina Blasi. What followed was a fantastic meal with even better service. The staff here are so friendly that we found the service was unmatched by any other restaurant during our stay in Italy. Service really does make the difference! The food was good. We had the Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara and Tonnarelli alla Pecorara, which was all very delicious. We enjoyed the focaccia bread, which I dabbed heavily in the olive oil, balsamic and pepper. With a round of meloncello shots in our bellies to end the meal, off to bed we went. For the next few days we dined around Rome but never quite found the same satisfaction as we did with our first meal at Vini & Cucina Blasi. So, we returned for another meal. After a day trip to Florence, with rather disappointing meals there, it was back to Vini & Cucina Blasi for our final meal in Rome. The staff here really took great care of us. I would encourage anyone to stop by and enjoy their winning recipe of good food and friendly service.
The food and service were excellent. Just walked past the restaurant and menu caught my attention when a staff, Mardina, came out to greet me and introduce me the menu. I didn’t want to eat and was only curious about the menu but the staff’s welcoming attitude got me back after an hour. They all were very attentive and took great care of customers. The portion was amazingly huge btws. The staff even offered me free Aroma - Sweet Lemond Vodka, which tastes amazing.
Very fun local place with all your favorite dishes. The lasagna had 10, count 'em, 10 layers of pasta. Pizza crust is very nicely done. Great service, very reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, just a fun place to eat and spend time. Grab a table on the street and have endless entertainment as the world goes by.
The service was spectacular! The food was amazing! They were knowledgeable of gluten free items and answered questions that I had about ingredients. The food was prepared quickly. My gluten free pasta ragù was amazing. The dessert I ordered was gluten free and yummy. My family enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice. The server was very polite and friendly. The young lady that welcomed us was also very kind and welcoming. We wanted to return before we headed out of town but we're unable to due to time restraints. We will plan on returning again in the near future.
Looked nice and not busy, and reasonable reviews but our experience was totally different. Staff was nice but for some reason insisted on turning the TV on which started blasting at full volume until they were finally able to turn it down. Worst of all the food sucked: WAY too much salt (I don’t think I remember ever tasting something that salty before) in both our pasta dishes. My spaghetti carbonara, apart from the salt, didn’t taste like it was supposed to, and my partner’s dish was so salty that I couldn’t even finish it (I never leave food on a plate). The mozzarella di buffala with starter ham was nice, nothing special.
During our visit to Rome, my wife and I enjoyed trying different local restaurants, and most of them exceeded our expectations - except for Vini e Cucina Blasi. Unfortunately, this was the only dining experience during our trip that left us genuinely disappointed. The service was poor from the start. My wife ordered a hamburger and politely asked for some mayonnaise. Instead of bringing what she requested, the waiter delivered something completely different, with no explanation or correction. While she ate, I was still waiting for my pasta, which was brought out very late, almost when she had already finished her meal. But the worst part wasn’t even the delay - it was the quality of the food. The pasta lacked flavor, freshness, and any sort of appeal. It honestly felt like an afterthought. To make matters worse, the staff seemed more interested in joking and chatting among themselves than in serving customers. There was no sense of professionalism or attention to detail. It’s really a shame, because every other restaurant we visited in Rome offered great food and friendly service. Ending our culinary experience with Vini e Cucina Blasi was a disappointing note to an otherwise amazing food trip.
"If you are looking for a place where you'll be treated with rudeness and disdain, this is it. The waitstaff's attitude is simply shameful. Every time you ask for something, they give you dirty looks, as if doing their job were a huge personal favor they are granting you. They respond rudely, with an annoyed tone and a level of arrogance that is hard to find in a public business. There is zero hospitality, only visible irritation toward the customer. On top of this, the food is mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price. The cleanliness is also appalling: sticky tables and a general sense of neglect everywhere. It is unacceptable to pay money to be treated this way. A word of advice to the management: teach your staff some basic manners or change business altogether. I will never step foot in this place again."
