Everything was perfect. Excellent food, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Fast and impeccable service.
Very kind and friendly staff, excellent food. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
What a fabulous place. I went there for lunch today and had a wonderful meal, al fresco and totally relaxing. Both my friends and I enjoyed a carefree and peaceful lunch, because that's exactly the atmosphere you breathe. The tasting menu was recommended by a super-kind woman. From the menu, I especially loved the veal with tuna sauce and the Fassona beef for the second course: delicious and well-cooked. The tagliatelle and dessert were also good. By the way, compliments to the chef. I'll definitely be back and recommending it to my friends. If you pass by, stop by for a delicious lunch or dinner.
A very pleasant surprise, grandma's birthday dinner. We found ourselves at this beautiful trattoria, which we'd heard about but never been to. Excellent cuisine, top-quality ingredients. The waitress, and I believe the owner, was friendly and professional. It was a Wednesday evening, and there weren't many people, so we felt right at home. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
Honestly? Absolutely 5 stars overall. It was definitely one of the best dinners in recent years, and even close to home! Excellent food, everything was delicious, from the house appetizer to the risotto (beetroot and Castelmagno cheese, so delicious! Extremely delicate and perfectly cooked) to the fillet steak (the meat was so tender, it melted in your mouth). The cheese tasting plates were sublime, and desserts included cheesecake and tarte tatin, and it's hard to say which was the best. The atmosphere was super welcoming, warm, and full of traditional details, including a beautiful fireplace. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and will be back soon.
Like most high end Italian food, it was magnificent.
A very beautiful and welcoming place, perfect for a romantic evening with friends or family. We dined in the small room with the fireplace. We ordered two appetizers: Fassona beef tartare with prosciutto and fried gnocco stuffed with stracchino cheese. Two first courses: mushroom-filled ravioli with braised beef and tagliatelle with meat ragù. All very good. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. Recommended
It's my first time at the Trattoria dei Ferrovieri in Oleggio, in the province of Novara (though you can get there first via Momo). The first impression upon arrival is positive: a farmhouse on a hill surrounded by larches, firs, and other trees. The forecourt is large and comfortable, although a paved area for those with mobility issues would be helpful. I'm greeted cheerfully by the courteous and friendly staff. We aren't required to sanitize our hands, but the menus and wine list are laminated for sanitizing. My companion and I opt for the tasting menu, which is only available if the entire table chooses it. I also look at the à la carte menu, which I find appropriately concise and which also lists the tasting menu dishes (which isn't always a given). Now that I see the prices, I understand why the tasting menu is mandatory for the entire table: it's truly a great value. For €28, you can enjoy an appetizer of smoked Angus carpaccio with arugula and parmesan, tagliatelle with an unconventional ragù, and a sliced steak with arugula and parmesan. Dessert, water, and house wine round out the dishes. I opted for a bottle of Nebbiolo Brigatti, a local producer from Suno with exceptional value, which I was offered here at the fair price of €16. The dishes are all delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff's timing is perfect, and the dessert of basil and berry panna cotta rounds off this truly satisfying dinner. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.
Ottimo, sono stato veramente bene. Antipasti misti, piatto molto invitante con salumi e altre cosine buone buone. Raviolini del plin con tartufo e stracotto con funghi e polenta.Buona la carta dei vini, consiglio di bere vini del territorio.Personale simpatico e gentile.
Location carina e ampio parcheggio. Personale sempre molto gentile. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti.
A pleasant surprise. I stopped by one day on vacation, returning from a short trip to Barengo in the Novara hills. I had a prix fixe lunch, and it was really good. Great value. Excellent, warm, welcoming place. Worth a stop in, in my opinion.
It's good for all tastes. Small portions and a satisfying choice of flavor. The menu has limitations... meaning you can't order four different first courses, etc., etc. It's understandable... it's a trattoria, they can't go crazy for the customer. Compliments are due. Thank you.
I found it charming. The rooms are intimate and welcoming. The style is rustic and pleasant. A special mention goes to the lady who runs the restaurant. She's very friendly and kind. She knows how to entertain customers as if she were the owner. The risotto with pears and scamorza was excellent. The tagliata and tartare were sumptuous.
Polite staff, delicious food and cheap price.
Lovely place and good food. The antipasti were great, the panizza was delicious and so was the tagliata of beef.
What a shame, what a disappointment. The red-haired waitress's sloppiness aside, the quality of the food is less than acceptable, with serious flaws in both quality and execution. I challenge anyone to call pasta with undercooked tomato sauce a ragù. It's a real shame because the place is charming and very pretty.
