Food: 5* Ambiance: 5* Service: 5* Enjoyed an anniversary celebration dinner here. We ordered the seafood tower and a couple drinks. The seafood was ample, shrimp, langoustines, crab legs, small oysters, ahi tuna, and various sauces. Everything was chilled and cooked to perfection. The amount of seafood and was perfect for us. At $190 it is steep, but how many 27th anniversary’s are you having? We sat outside and it was great. The heat lamps kept the cool at bay and the sound of the waves lulled us into a very satisfied fullness and contentment. Service was impeccable. Attentive, helpful, but not overly hovering. We would return and try the other fare.

I have not had seafood this amazing in a long time. We actually stumbled into this place walking down the beach and glad we did. Mike with the pumpkin 🎃 tie helped make our dinner amazing. Everything went so well we came back a second night. The scallops 👌, the red clam chowder 💯 and drinks perfectly made. Everything went so well we thank you for all the hard work and dedication the whole team puts in because it shows. Oyster Loft is a must try.

Fantastic, we had some of the best oysters in our lives. The sablefish and scallops were cooked to perfection. No flavours were too dominating and everything was pretty subtle. Leaving us craving for a well deserved dessert. Again the best cream brûlée I’ve had. The caramel basket was delicious and more than we could bargained for! Hoping we can dine here again!

Celebrating Our 10th Anniversary with an Unforgettable Dinner Yesterday, September 5, 2025, my husband and I decided to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary at this restaurant. First of all, I want to say that the service was exceptional. Our waiter, sorry I can’t recall his name, was incredibly kind. He was probably in his forties and mentioned that his wife was half Chilena. He truly elevated our experience to another level. We were traveling along the Pacific Way toward San Francisco and spent the night in Pismo Beach to see the dunes. We chose this restaurant and had a wonderful evening. We started with oysters, and our waiter impressed us with his knowledge about the different varieties, their origins, flavors, "colors" and his recommendations. We ate them all raw and loved them. I ordered ceviche and later another raw dish, while my husband ordered three rounds of oysters from different places, all recommended by our waiter. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails: I had a cherry cocktail, and my husband had his favorite Cocktail "special unknown" ask for it if you know?. When we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary, the waiter brought us a small treat, complimentary. We ended up staying for more than two hours, right by the beach, enjoying the evening, the view, the people, and the amazing service. Great food, great company, and a memorable conversation. This is an excellent place, don’t miss the chance to come here, order an appetizer, enjoy a couple of cocktails or wines, and savor their raw dishes. We also tried the tuna tower, which was just as delicious as everything else.

Gastronomica orgasmica! I am Orthodox Christian, so I hope that's not offensive, but it's true!! We did not plan this trip and on a whim decided to go get some oysters. Holy smokes! This place will knock your socks off! The chef Jared has outdone himself with the presentation as well as the texture:flavor:proportions. We have already decided to come back and stay next time in Pismo Beach just to eat here again for my birthday. Wow! If you want a wonderful gathering or an intimate meal that will have your taste buds feeling like they have melted into a happy dream, then come to the Oyster Loft. Did I mention the 5 star service? This place is so worth it!

The food was absolutely wonderful, and the service was exceptional. Our waitress, Jules, was absolutely amazing. A fine dining experience. The pork chop is hands down the best we have ever had. The seabase was also delicious. We also had charbroil oysters and tuna tower appetizers out of this world 🌎. We highly recommend trying this place.

Just an outstanding dining experience! The food was amazing, and the service, from Haley, was Michelin Star level. Hreat drinks and a really nice wine menu to round things out! We will be back anytime we are in the area, and I highly recommend it!

This was our first time here and it was suggested by friends we were dining with. We started off with cocktails at the bar while we were waiting for our table. The view from our table was excellent. Our server was friendly and joking with us. All the food we ordered was delicious. The grilled oysters were excellent. In fact, everything we ordered and sampled was great. We would absolutely return to dine here again.

Beautiful restaurant with great ambiance, great service and wonderful food. My hubby and I were looking for something light with drinks and decided on the Oyster Loft which turned out to be a great choice! We opted to sit at the bar so we didn't have to wait the hour for a table. The bartenders were phenomenal, friendly and talented. Best Mai Tai outside of Maui! The Tuna Poke Tower looked like a piece of art and the taste was out of this world. The freshest and tastiest poke with lots of avocado. The thinly sliced cucumbers and radishes plus the sauces made all the flavors come together perfectly. We also had half a dozen fresh oysters and they were also mouthwatering delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Came here because this was highly recommended by our hotel nearby , the Vespera, and they actually handled the booking as well. At first, there was a bit of a concern about the name “ Oyster Loft” thinking that all food was to be all oysters and I’m not very fond of. Thank God, it wasn’t the case. This was actually very good, if not one of the best restaurants in Pismo. Food was phenomenal and the quality was great! One would think this place is an award winning restaurant of some sort ! The preparation and presentation, top notch, flavor, quality and freshness- definitely tops! I heard the Chef was Japan trained, and that explains the meticulously made quality food served from the appetizers all the way to desserts! The location is perfect, right in the center of where all the action is in Pismo Beach, in fact, we just walked from our hotel in Vespera. It’s on the second floor so if lucky, you can have a beautiful view of the sunset. Service is great! Our waiter was very professional and very knowledgeable and his suggestions were great! I don’t know much about parking because as I said we walked, but I saw some open parking lot where beach people would park and I assume that’s where the parking lot for everyone. I would definitely go back here again if I am in Pismo Beach!

I was there with my wife for my birthday during a weekend day. We had a reservation, and we got the table right the way even if we arrived earlier. Beautiful welcome in from waiter, and the view was amazing. We could watch the ocean and enjoy our dinner. Great selection of seafood and meat. We went for seafood. Seafood is really fresh and tasty. Dishes and drinks arrived quickly and at the right time. No pressure to leave or eat from the restaurant. Place was quiet and full of attention on the details. The best dish that we had was the octopus. All Dishes were good and all of them gave a different experience. I strongly recommend this place if you are around.

Beautiful ocean views and a nautical decor begin your experience in this wonderful establishment. The host staff is friendly, and the waitstaff is very professional and knowledgeable. They offer a nice variety of wines, in my opinion, a bit overpriced with Mark ups varying 40 to 100 percent. The cuisine was quite nice. We started with Manhattan chowder, which was loaded with clams. Then, an assortment of appetizers and small plates which included grilled octopus and baby vegetables, braized short ribs with kimchi rice, scallop crudo, ceviche and five different types of oysters. My personal favorites were the octopus, which was tender, flavorful, and well-balanced, and the oysters. I thought the scallop crudo was good but lacking a touch of acid to needed to balance out the sweetness of the meat with the spicy and herb infused oils. Overall, a wonderful experience was had by all.

The food was great, but they seem to be out of several things. My waiter was not very good. Not only did he take a long time to get answers, but he gave wrong information also. By the time the bread that was ordered was delivered the meal was way past finished. He seemed upset to even help. I liked the view, and the hostess was very nice. And the food itself was great that I ended up getting.

Took my staff out to dinner and we made the decision to gave dinner here. The view is amazing. One of the best dinner views on Pismo Beach. Food was delicious and in my opinion price was very reasonable for the amount of food received. Only complaint was the wait time to be seated was 15min more than anticipated and waited 1hr for the food to come out. So definitely make sure to have enough time to visit and have dinner.
