This has to be the most underrated spot in Pitman. The homemade sandwiches and frittata, the quality ingredients, the phenomenal gelato and the very best coffee and latte I’ve ever had is right here. We come here at least once a week and have never been disappointed! Our favorites are the frittatas, turkey or Italian sandwiches and caramel latte. And the staff! The waitresses are so nice, helpful and easy to talk to. Run here!

I ordered from Lucia’s last night for a girls night in. We got a charcuterie board & a short rib Stromboli. I am impressed. The balsamic in the board was soooo good. The Stromboli was delicious. I even loved the everything seasoning on the Stromboli. It gave it a good touch. Definitely recommend & can’t wait to to try breakfast & a cannoli

Stopped here for lunch with my wife and daughter. Service a little slower, but worth the wait. Awesome paninis and the desserts were delicious. Highly recommend. Phone didn’t eat first on the Diablo. The Sicilian packed with meat and awesome. Nice selection of coffee drinks, too.

I love Lucia’s - big portions and delicious food! Pictured is my favorite- the Mediterranean toast, I have to get it without cheese these days and they are very accommodating with my dairy allergy💗

Did Father’s Day lunch here! I don’t even know where to begin. The owner, Vito, is amazing. The staff is personable and will do anything to make your dining experience enjoyable. We had the roasted turkey and the Sicilian panino to start. Vito makes the ciabatta himself! The quality of this food is outstanding! We also had the pistachio bomboloni, chocolate chip cannoli and the affogato along with capppucinos. Lucia’s is definitely what Pitman needed! Can’t wait to go back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

YUM!! ❤️❤️❤️ Egg, tavern ham, provolone cheese, sautéed onion, roasted pepper, home fries and mushroom and multigrain bread! Perfect balance of every ingredient!! The Cafe’s ambiance was just as nice as the sandwich was delicious! The espresso was wonderful too!

Delicious food!! Italian comfort food (strombolis and paninis) & coffee & desserts. Quiet and simple. I recommend this place!! I will be returning & I have a few suggestions for the owner/manager, it was a little bit confusing whether this was a sit down eatery or seat-yourself place where you order at the counter. My server was very nice but didn’t come to my table accept to give me my food (again, I’m not sure if this was because it’s not that type of place???)it looks like one of those places where you should be ordering at the counter and just eating at the table. And the atmosphere could use a little sprucing up and a better layout. However, the staff was still very nice and got me everything I needed. I only give suggestions because I want to see small businesses thrive and I hope this is one of them!

Definitely could be cheaper but the food tastes really good. This place offers so many types of paninis and Strombolis, the salads are fresh and the food is great quality.

I have gone here twice the past few weeks, that’s how much I love it! After having a negative experience at another brunch place very close to this location, I’m happy to have discovered Lucia’s!! Not only is the food great quality, cozy, and plentiful, the service and atmosphere is always un matched!! Whether you want to have a nice brunch date with your partner or friends, or just grab a quick bite to eat, this is hands down the place to go to! I recommend the lavender iced coffee!

Wow! Very impressed with the quality of food and will definitely be back! Charcuterie board was amazing and had a great Stromboli as well! Portions are very large so be prepared to share!

Definitely a hidden gem. We had the soprafinna board, cheesesteak stromboli, lemoncello cake, and lemon gelato.

Menus of coffee, Gelato, sandwiches. Had a great Red Eye, ordered a bioche with gelato and a sandwich. Just the coffee and gelato were worth the trip. Fun atmosphere. Wish I had not ordered to go, lots of plastic was used :-(

High quality food, atmosphere, and service. I have had a great experience each and every time I’ve been here. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Lucia's Bistro today with my daughter, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend Lucia's Bistro for anyone looking for a fantastic meal!

I hosted my 30th birthday party here on 4/12/2025 and I had an amazing experience! Cindy handled our entire party and my guests loved everything! We can’t wait to come back.

The place is beautiful and very welcoming. The wait staff couldn't be nicer. I got the tortilla soup which was really good and HUGE! Big bowl! I saw the sandwiches going by so I knew they were big. I shared one with my friend. It was delish and more than ample! The turkey was fresh and there was a lot of it! Hard to get your mouth around (but I managed)! But that crusty Italian bread just put it over the top! Really awesome! All of the food I saw go past me looked equally as awesome! Go! Have a sandwich, a coffee, a flatbread, whatever! Really great! Can't wait to return!

My husband had a breakfast sandwich today from here and it was sooo delicious. Great idea that you can build your own breakfast sandwich. It was so big that we could have split it in half and each had our fill. In addition, we got a few cannolis and they were also excellent. We got the blueberry, limoncello and regular cannolis and they were all fabulous! Check this place out!

We made a last minute decision to go before our show at the theatre. They had a nice variety of foods to choose from and lots of coffee options. The food was delicious and fresh. I loved the simple but beautiful decor. We will definitely be back!

Nothing not to like. Cheerful server who was busy working on something immediately greeted me. I had multi grain ricotta toast and it exceeded my expectations. Added a delicious seasonal matcha. It was lovely.

Had the Italian panini. It was very good.

My wife and I just had our first visit there. We went for lunch and loved it! The Greek tomato salad was fresh and more than enough for two. We also had the sausage and peppers flat which was freshly made and really tasty. They're already our favorite place in Pitman and that's knowing just how many choices there are in town. The atmosphere was really clean and welcoming too.

I had lunch here for the first time with my mom. We both had the paninis. The food was outstanding with superb customer service to match. I love that rather than chips or fries for a side it comes with a house salad. The size of the panini is big enough to split with someone or save for later. I will be returning soon! Thank you!

Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Had a caramel cappuccino that was so delicious. The roasted turkey/Swiss with honey mustard was really good but the best was the warm freshly made bread that it came on was to die for. My only regret was not being able to squeeze in one of their amazing desserts. Definitely will be coming back.

I eat here very often, and yes, this is not FAST food! Worth the wait as my usual choices are always delicious and fresh. For breakfast I like the Mediterranean Toast platter, and for lunch I like the Caprese Panini. This restaurant is always capable of seating large parties, which is a plus.

We stopped in for dinner before going to the theater. Wow! I can’t believe we’ve never been here before. Excellent food and service. The Sicilian sandwich was amazing. Definitely recommend this Bistro. We will definitely be making a return.

Decent little place. First time coming here and overall satisfied. Got here about 1/2 hr after opening on a Wednesday, so around 8:30am. Wasn't super busy at all. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was good overall. I got a omelet with sausage with an extra side of bacon. The friend I came with got the Blueberry pancakes. The only thing I found kinda weird was my omelet came out first, then her pancakes and finally my bacon. Given how slow they were, I don't get why everything came out at slightly different times. Besides that, it seemed like a decent place. May be different when actually busy. Whole meal plus my coffee came out to just under $40. I'd try them again.

Nice spot for brunch. Loved that they had a local newspaper. Atmosphere was a little too quiet though. Not enough lights and such towards the back. Would go back though.

M

Had the BBQ pulled pork stromboli for $25 which tasted great and sweet. Forgot to add caramelized onions though! 1 stromboli is perfect for 2 people especially if you want to save room or desert.

First time there. Quaint, nicely decorated inside. Limited menu, but understandable. Waitress was nice, but quite shy. More training with management would be recommended. We ordered a sandwich and a stromboli. They were both delicious. The ingredients in both tasted fresh. Plan accordingly, the meals are big enough for 2 to share. Only food issue was the menu stated the spinach stromboli had tomatoes in it. Mine did not. But a minor oversight. And the gelati's for dessert were quite tasty. We would definitely go back to try other plates.

Place was clean, staff were nice. We enjoyed our brunch. We did come during the week so there was no wait.

We went for lunch, walked in directly behind a couple. Was told to sit ourselves and I asked if I should grab a menu, I was told yes. The back of the restaurant is very dark compared to the front part. It was extremely clean and really beautiful inside. No one was there except us and another couple. The server brought us water, wasn't too personable but took our order and moved on. We ordered a soup to share as an appetizer, boneless wings and sandwich to share. After a little over 25 minutes we received the soup, which was really good. Then 5 minutes later our boneless wings which were half baked. We couldn't even eat the wings, there was no sauce they tasted like they were microwaved although I know they were baked but not 35 minutes wait worth. The sandwich came out about 5 minutes later..which was a toasted bread, nothing cooked and a side salad. It was such a bland experience, I believe we waited WAY too long for what we ordered...only being 2 couples there. On top service was par especially being a main street bistro...no refill on our water bottle was offered...we finished it. They did offer to make something else but we declined.

First I would like to say the only reason why I gave this cafe 3stars was because of service and breakfast over priced(maybe it was the area but it was my first time going there) paid for one person about $30 with 2drinks(coffee & orange juice).I would recommend a few tips. When we first arrived it was not busy at all, maybe 2 family’s outside and 3inside. They only had 2 servers. We waited a while to be greeted and get our food. Food was good but the portion was way too big. I ordered a omelette but did not like the fact that they didn’t take their time to cut the meat or veggies in smaller pieces. I literally had a whole strip of bacon inside my omelette. Coffee cups were way too small. I would say if you want to save money as a business owner, one slice of bread is good and instead of 3eggs, use 2 eggs for the omelette and maybe 2 to 3 strips of bacon on the side. Overall the place was nice and also clean.

The Good: One of the best stromboli's I've ever had. We had the Polpette. Fantastic. The Caprese sandwich was equally good, as well as the Ciabata with Oil Appetizer. All wonderful. The Bad: Excruciatingly slow service. Understaffed, poor table management, slow kitchen. On a Friday night, with a town event going on no less. Seen at least one table walk out due to not be acknowledged. Multiple other visible complaints from other guests. We dealt with it as we were not in a rush. Ultimately we will be back soon for more Stromboli. It's just too good to not get. Just hope they work the kinks out.

My review is somewhat of a mixed bag of pros and cons. Clean, modern setup. Basic decor. Employees were friendly and attentive. However, the service was super slow. Coffee arrived one or two cups at a time. Same with entrees. Our table of 13 all ate a different times. I asked for no home fries or toast but asked for fruit instead. She told me, "we don't have fruit," as I watched about 10 plates come out with either fresh oranges, blueberries, or apples as a garnish. At least offer me an orange or a cup of blueberries... something. The food was hot, delicious, and instagram worthy. Separate checks were a plus. I would give it another shot but with a smaller group of people for sure.

I am so confused about what happens in their kitchen. The most recent time we were there we got 2 paninis and it took 40 mins to get them, when there was just one other table of 2 in the restaurant. I would say maybe an off day but we went about a year ago with another couple and it was the same thing. The paninis were very good but I just don't understand how it could take that long to put coldcuts, even fresh sliced, on toasted bread. I saw that another friend of mine was there today for dessert and she said it took 30 mins for two cannoli to come out and there was only one other table. I feel like this place could be good but it just takes way too long to get anything. Also, very pricey. I think it was $18 or $19 for each sandwich.

We were here with a large group so the review may be inaccurate. I'd imagine this place is better with a 2-4 top.. however I was overall not impressed with this place in Pitman.

Made reservations for Mother's Day at 11am. We were provided with a full menu that included both breakfast and lunch items. When the waitress came to take our order (after we had time to make our choices) we were told that they were not serving any lunch items. I'm confused as to why they would give a multi-page menu and then tell you that 75% of it isn't available. There is no indication of breakfast/lunch serving times posted on the website nor was it mentioned when making the reservations. The breakfast menu is very generic and limited, so needless to say this was a very disappointing Mother's day "brunch".

I was incorrectly charged by the restaurant and when I reached out to manager to correct the charge I was told it was over 30 days old and there was nothing they could do. When I disputed the charge with my credit card they said that was laziness on the part of the restaurant. One month and a half later I still have not been credited for their mistake of over charging me in the first place. It is beyond frustrating. I would normally not negatively comment on these forums, but this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'll also note that the food was overpriced and mediocre.

We had a reservation for 1:00pm. Which was not respected, they practically overbooked and then they didn't know what to tell the clients. The food arrived 2 hours later, delicious and very fresh. The waitress was always very friendly. I feel that the manager is not doing his job well, they have excellent food to sell but catastrophic logistics. Seeing the frustrated faces of all the customers waiting for their food was horrible.

First and last time I'll eat from this place. I paid $15 for a poor breakfast sandwich. I could maybe understand if it was good. It was partly my fault that I did not fully consider that everything but the egg was not factored into the breakfast sandwich price. I hate the idea of a bad review but this has to be addressed.

We waited 40 minutes for our food (two flatbreads and waffle fries) only to be told "it might be coming out" in another 10-15 minutes. Chef was yelling at the waitresses in plain view and earshot of the customers. Unacceptable. I understand there was a rush but there comes a point where you stop seating tables...they clearly didn't do that. This experience really disappointed us.

Our reservation was for 11:30 but we were not seated until about 11:50am. After placing our order at 12, we sat there for over an hour and received nothing, no food, no update or check-in. After consistently asking another waitress where our coffee and food was, we received half the orders and there was a hair in the grilled chicken of a salad! At 1:30pm we decided to leave after not receiving half the entrees. So disappointing and frustrating, our waitress never checked on us the entire time and we had to ask other waitresses for assistance. Left hungry and will never return to this restaurant!

Made reservations for brunch for Mother’s Day. When we arrived they told us they were over booked and we had to wait. By the time we were seated we couldn’t have brunch and were stuck with the dinner menu. It took over 1 1/2 hours to get our food after we ordered. I do not recommend unless you have hours to waste and are very patient

On 1/28/23. I went with a friend to have breakfast. I ordered French toast. My friend ordered Chocolate chip pancakes and side of home fries. When we finally received our food, my 3 pieces of French toast were burnt and one was an end piece of bread. My friend received her home fries before her pancake which came without the chocolate chips. We waited for our waitress to come back and check on us but never happened. I finally had to stand up as proceed to go to counter. I called her back to our table to show her my order. I told her that I didn’t have time to wait for another order and would like this taken off and also explained that pancake didn’t have chocolate chips. She just stood there looking at me without a response until I said “well” and again her reply was that she didn’t know what to do. I told her to get the manager . We waited ten minutes and I called the other waitress over and was told that our waitress was in the back crying because she is calling the manager on the phone and is not answering as they are not allowed to take off entrees of the bill without authorization. I explained that I have someplace to be so when I stood up, our waitress handed me the bill and the other waitress said that I can either pay the bill or she will call the cops. Fortunately, for them and the quests in the restaurant, the manager called and said to take entrees off. I have never experienced such an unpleasant experience. I should have read the reviews before trying to patronize this place

Visited this restaurant tonight and was very disappointed. First off we were just looked at when we arrived by workers behind the counter. I had to ask if we seated ourselves and was it counter service. They told us to pick a table and they would bring us menus. We waited for someone to take our order. Was told by server to NOT order the buffalo nuggets because people complain about them. Okay why is that still on the menu! We waited awhile for 2 sandwiches, 2 appies, fries and a bowl of soup. I finally had to go up and see if we were getting our food soon because we had an appointment to get to. We got our food and only had 10 minutes to eat. The bill came to over $90. Not worth it. Okay…the positive…the place is clean and they have really attractive natural sided tables. We won’t be going back.

We walked in around 11:50 am. We were told to seat ourselves and someone will bring us menus. We got our menus and waters, and we were told the breakfast menu was on the front. Lunch on the inside, and Stromboli's on the back About 10 minutes later another couple sat down near us and a different waitress or the hostess told them that breakfast was over with. We waited for our waitress to come back to take our order and she went straight to the other couple who sat after us and took their coffee order. We over heard this couple as well stating they wanted breakfast so they were just going to order coffee and leave. We still waited. Finally we got up and walked up to the front letting them know that we were going to leave because we thought breakfast would still be served as we were there before the cut off time and were waiting for awhile. Our waitress then asked the cook if he would still do breakfast. She said he would so, we sat back down. She informed us she would bring waters back to our table. We waited a little bit again before she came back over to even put our order in. I had to ask her to bring our waters back. We then waiting about 25 min for them to bring out two things of scrambled eggs, our protein choice and side of home fries and a hash brown. The waitress was not personable and was not considerate of wait time once people sat down at the table. The only thing this place has going for them is a cute atmosphere, a 4/10 coffee and the food does taste good but definitely not worth coming back.

Recommended by local establishment because that place lost power the morning of my reservation and couldn't serve us on time. Very disappointed with the recommendation based on service and length of time we waited for our food. Only giving one star bc the food was good(after an hour and a half wait). There were 3 tables being served when we got there so we figured the service would be top notch because they weren't busy. It took over 15 min just to get menus and one bottle of water to split between 10 people. The waitress didn't even say hello or tell us her name. Extremely miserable the whole time. Most of my party ordered coffee or lattes and that took over 30min to get. We ordered and 5 people ordered breakfast. Waitress never said breakfast wasn't served all day when we ordered (website states breakfast is served all day). Then my family had to find something else to order. All in all from ordering to getting our food was almost 1.5hrs. Then somehow we got an extra sandwich we never ordered and another waitress came over (also extremely rude) and said we ordered it. They never took it off the bill. We had to request it be removed. I used to waitress and have never had such rude, terrible service. It's ashame because the food was delicious.

Wow what a terrible experience! Came with my family of 10 at 12 pm before a Christmas show at the Pitman theater. Waitress took our order, more than half of us ordered breakfast, waitress walked away, who was very rude might I add, only to come back and tell us we couldn't order breakfast. We waited over an hour for our food, 5 sandwiches, a flatbread, stromboli, and chicken Ceasar salad. Waitress barely smiled, took forever to bring coffee, didn't bring sugar, had to go get it ourselves, and paid over $250!!! Never in our lives have we had such a miserable experience. The website says you can get breakfast all day. That was a lie. Why? So our bill would have to be higher. Waited over an hour for a sandwich. Ridiculous!!! She also put in an extra sandwich we didn't order and "forgot" to take it off the bill even though we very clearly did not order that. Dishonest and pretentious. Do not waste your time or money at this place!!!!

Three adults and a 5 year old, $115. Food was average at best. With less than half the tables occupied service was glacial. Not sure if I've been more disappointed in brunch. There are some great brunch options around and I would venture to say this comes in at the bottom.

L
Luisa C

Not a good breakfast spot, food took forever. They forgot the scramble eggs and they weren’t scramble which they failed to mention they don’t do scramble eggs there it’s “eggs frittata” and they were all brown. Food was gross, no refill on coffee. It was just a very expensive experience for bad food. Never coming here again.
