Wonderful evening with great food and fantastic service. We made our reservation before the fantastic musical Cats down the street and the staff was fantastic in making sure we booked the right time to enjoy dinner and dessert. Portions are generous and very tasty. Service was spot on throughout dinner. For the humble front the restaurant puts on, the food and the service are well above that. Thank you!

We had our engagement party here a few weeks ago & it was Amazing! The food, service, the planning process. Everything went smooth & Luis was very accommodating, which helped the success of our party. I would highly recommend for hosting an event or just a night to dine out. The salmon & penne vodka are our two favorites! * A few photos for ideas if you are planning a party 💍 🌟

First time here. The service was very good. Always checked on our table & politely. Had a bottle of wine from the restaurant. It was very good. Our meals looked very appealing & were delicious. My gnocchi meal was very good. Was expecting more tomatoe sauce on it. It had a little too much cheese. The meals were all $30. Believe a little on the expensive side for pasta dishes. Over all a very good experience. Will return here to try other dishes.

I hosted my wife's surprise 40th birthday party here. I can't begin to describe how fantastic the staff was and how well they treated my wife and the guests. We will be using this venue for our future catering needs and I would recommend this to other south Jersey residents as well. Another advantage of this venue is there are multiple cake and pastry shops within walking distance, so it was easy to coordinate a dessert and pick it up an hour before the event. Again, the staff at Mannino's is outstanding. Every time they walked by my wife, they wished her a happy birthday.

This was our second visit. Both visits were the same. Fantastic. Food is authentic and delicious. The service is exceptional. Both visits we had Louis as our server. I don't know if he went to school for hospitality or had some formal training or if he's just a natural at his job. We had the calamari and arancini appetizers, and I had the lasagna with meatballs for my entrée. Everything was delicious.

Great time from the host to the table. Great food/service/ atmosphere. We got a sidewalk table on a warm summer night. We had reservations. This oven and the chefs are special.

Our first time there and the service and good was excellent !! The crab bisque was by far one of the best things I have ever tasted! Our server Nicolette was great, and the hostess was so sweet! We will certainly be back ❤️

We hosted a baby shower at Mannino’s and it was perfect! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with the planning as well as day-of service. I am from out of town and had never even seen this venue before but it was so well catered to what we needed. They were accommodating and flexible with any and all requests. And the food is DELICIOUS, mama-to-be and all of the guests were very satisfied. BYOB is also so convenient and they’re pricing is reasonable, highly recommend for dinner or a private party.

Great place to eat, before a show at pitman theatre, after a show, or just a date night. The food is great. I had tortellini pesto and it was fabulous. Service is friendly and attentive. Dessert was out of this world.

Delicious food and great service! Somewhat expensive, but well worth it. The portion sizes were generous; many of us had leftovers. We were a party of seven. We brought our own wine, and enjoyed dishes with seafood, chicken, pasta, steak and pork. Anything on the menu with the word "Drunken" is amazing! Everyone was pleased with their food choices! The restaurant is handicap-accessible. The bathrooms are very clean. We had a great time!

Visited tonight for dinner and we were very pleased! We started with appetizers of calamari fritto and filet egg rolls. Portions were very big and incredibly delicious. Entrees of tortellini della nona, crab cakes with risotto and the salmon special were amazing. Plenty to enjoy and enough for lunch tomorrow. The service was very attentive and kind. We will be back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It is hard for me to rate the food at a restaurant like this because I don't like cheese and there are very few things on the menu that do not have cheese. I ordered a pasta dish that had sausage and broccoli rabe in garlic and maybe water? It is usually oil, but this was not oil. It was very bland and the sausage slices were as thick as a pickle slice, if that. If I owned a restaurant that charged the prices that this one charges, I would not let a dish like this come out of my kitchen. Just my opinion. My wife asked if she could have one of the appetizers as a dinner and they did just that. They brought her the appetizer. Usually if you ask for this they will bring you a dinner sized proportion. Not this time. Funny how you can have two completely different experiences at a restaurant. The first time I went here I enjoyed my meal. This time, dessert was the highlight of the meal, and that was nothing to write home about either.

We Came in on a Sunday around 16:00 for an early dinner w/my lady. We had Calamari, Antipasti and Mushroom ravioli. We stopped at the liquor store and picked up some Malbec wine. We like to share plates rather than traditional dinner style. I give the service 4 stars bc I ordered Calamari and it didnt come when I requested it. I had to reorder it. But the food was sooooo good, we are gonna come back with an emptier stomach lol Total was $89 and change. MANGIA!!!

Dinner for two early on a Monday night. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was so pleasant, with background music that was actually background music. My seafood and pasta entree was excellent, best red sauce at a restaurant I've had. CC use incurs an extra charge; wish I was told in advance.

A great surprise, our first time in Pitman, and we were lucky to find this gem of a restaurant. The appetizers and salads were delicious and the entrees were so good we were sharing forkfuls around the table. We ordered 7 different entrees, and they were all wonderfully presented, hot with different sauces. The mushroom ravioli with a white truffle sauce, a special of the day, was amazing. A BYOB if you just want a glass of wine but they do have a wine list to order a full bottle. The menu offers a good variety of choices, plus specials of the day, dine in a good sized room with a comfortable atmosphere and great service. Our waitress was friendly, patient with the youngsters when they ordered and very attentive to our needs.

Our family went for dinner on New Year’s Night, we arrived a little late and they were getting ready to close. Without hesitation the owner said he would stay open. We were beyond grateful as our son was in an Uber on his way to meet us from Philadelphia. Not only did we have a delicious meal, but we were made to feel so welcomed and not rushed at all even at the late hour. I enjoyed the Caesar salad salad, penne, à la vodka, and the banana pudding, which had sliced bananas, strawberries, fresh whipped cream with a caramel drizzle. Our whole experience was fantastic! Looking forward to visiting again!

My first time eating there was today (12/28) and the ambiance was so beautiful, decorated for the holidays. I ordered; fried calamari and clams in a delicious garlic sauce...omgoodness, it was delicious! The calamari came with lightly fried zucchini and a spicy dipping sauce. Service was top tier!! I can't wait to return to taste other menu items.

Terrific menu, beautiful decor and delicious food! I had the Merriman which is a lovely dish with shrimp and scallops in a blush sauce. My date had the Ravioli Di Aragosta which is lobster ravioli in vodka sauce. Highly recommended!

Very loud, conversation was difficult, food was average, the veal saltibocca was completely different from that ordered at an authentic italian restaurant. 1st picture is from mannios, 2nd pic is from authentic italian restaurant. Prices are similar, within 1 dollar

This is really 3.5 stars but I rounded up. I think 3 is a little low but 4 is high if I'm being honest. We were a party of 5. Between us, we had the crab "bisque", filet mignon egg rolls, chicken parm, pescatore Rosa, crab cakes, and banana pudding. Crab "bisque"- not a bisque at all. It's vegetable soup with crab meat. Awful. 0 stars. Bisque is thick and creamy... this was a broth. Filet mignon egg rolls- taste like regular cheesesteak egg rolls with cheese wiz. Not worth $19. Chicken parm- stellar. Thin cutlets, tasty sauce. Only thing is we had to ask for more sauce because the pasta under the cutlet had no sauce. Pescatore Rosa- stellar again. Very tasty sauce, fresh seafood, just very $$ at almost $50. Crab cakes- not good. Lots of crab but they lacked flavor. Bland. Banana pudding- out of this world! Thick and creamy with fresh fruit. Honestly it was enough for the 5 of us to share. Bill came to $300 and that was with 2 soups subtracted. Overall, very expensive and overpriced as other reviewers have stated. Our server was very nice and very good so no complaints there whatsoever. Honestly, probably won't be back.

Tried Mannino's Cucina Italiana in Pitman Saturday night. Very elegant decor, great service and the food was delicious! We each had dinner salads, my friend had the Diver Scallops Scampi and I had Veal Osso Bucca from their specials menu. It was SO good! We shared a Lava Cake and Ice Cream for dessert (got eaten too quickly for a picture, LOL). Despite the tough parking situation in downtown Pitman, very much worth the trip.

Very nice dinner. Food was all good. From the manicotti to the Parm dishes. Our server Lucas was great! Good selection of pasta dishes, seafood, and more. BYOB!!

Tried Mannino's for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were both good. Better than Botto's and more affordable. Will go back for a second round.

Carming hostess. Awesome atmosphere. Sandwich was a little dry. Beer was very good. Yes, I'd go back.

Very nice restaurant in a very nice town! Food was good. Portions could be bigger for the price that they charge. House salad was delicious but ridiculously small. Probably won't return due to those issues. And when it's crowded it is very, very loud! It is one large room with a whole bunch of tables. Overall, it was a nice experience, though.

Large clumps of crab meat were very good. The sesame bread was warm and delicious and the butter spreadable. A salad included with the meals would be nice. Call ahead for reservations---we didn't and although they did seat us, it wasn't the best seat in the house. Friendly staff, but the atmosphere was a little noisy. It didn't bother my husband and I but it was noticeable.

I had the Sunday Gravy and it was delicious! My wife had the Shrimp Scampi. She said that the shrimp were a little tough to chew and the sauce tasted very (capery?). I like capers, the more the better but she would've liked less. I thought it tasted really good. We made a reservation, but we were the only ones in the restaurant. It was a nice experience. We will be back!!

This was our fist time going to this byob in the center of Pitman. We went because we were going to the theater and made sure we were out in time. Great food and service; we'll be back!

The food is delicious and service is amazing. The prices were high in my opinion, $30 for ravioli is high I think a pasta dish with no protein could be priced better.

We ordered chicken marsala and osso boco. Tons of food. Everything was good. Chicken was a little dry but good. Veal was very good. Risotto was not good at all. Great service and a nice place.

Had a wonderful experience with family & friends before our show at the Broadway Theater. All of our dishes, appetizers too, were delivered piping hot. The service is excellent. Not one time did I see any wait staff or bussers standing around doing nothing; that's a plus in my book. All of our food was well prepared and delicious- no complaints there. My only issue was the cost; just a little too pricey for me for pasta. But overall, a nice restaurant, great service, and delicious Italian dishes

Was here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. Place was empty, likely because people went elsewhere for veterans day specials. Was nice having the whole place to ourselves. Were given some hot fresh bread with butter and a really good oil for dip. Mozzarella fritta was very good and we ordered two plates of chicken francese. We asked for bo mushrooms, but when the food came out, the plates were almost covered in mushrooms. Could've used more chicken and pasta, however the food was good! Overall a good experience and very good dessert. Definitely worth a second visit one day. They have a Playlist of acoustic covers and some of the songs just dont sound good in a slower paced acoustic style.

Went with a party of 10. Food was just okay. Sunday gravy was bland and could use way more flavor. Chicken parm was decent. The bread isn’t even an Italian baguette. It was like white bread. Server Luis G was just okay. Didn’t ask us how anything was after bringing us the food. Didn’t say thank you or have a good night to us and of course since I work in the food industry I empathize and over tip 20 percent most of the time. But this time made have a little buyers remorse. The value is pretty atrocious too. For that money the food and service should just be better.

The menu was fun to look at, and the portions were plentiful. The atmosphere was nice, with tables just far enough from each other.. Service slow, very slow, despite our request to be out in time to comfortably attend the theater show. Arrived at 6pm and entres served 80 minutes later. Food caused me to swell up from the amount of sodium, took a couple of days to recover.

We went here for dinner with another couple for our first visit, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. After we were finally seated, the waitress brought us glasses and ice for our wine, but then disappeared for about 15 minutes. A server assistant brought out bread, but there was no butter or olive oil, surprising for an Italian restaurant, especially with no seasoned olive oil for dipping. I eventually had to stop Luiz and explain the situation. He took over as our server and was excellent from that point on. As for the food, the shrimp and broccoli rabe appetizer was underwhelming, had only three medium shrimp with a small portion of broccoli rabe for $21, and it lacked flavor. I had to cut the shrimp in half so we each get a bite. The scallop appetizer was slightly better but was served more like a soup and priced at $20. Salad was also not enjoyable. The veal parmesan entrées were good, but the linguine and clams was not enjoyed. At this price point, the lack of attention to detail and inconsistent execution made the experience unenjoyable until the main course. Overall, we cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be dining here again. We eat out often, and there are many better Italian restaurants that offer stronger value and better food.

The service and atmosphere were good, but it’s way too expensive for just ok food. Everything on the menu is basic and starts at over $30 per person for an entree... for pasta. Veal and fish start at around $40. The portions are average and you’d get the same quality food from Olive Garden. Not worth it. For what one person’s meal costs, you’d be able to make at home and easily feed 4 people.

We came here for a casual dinner. The restaurant was full, very busy. Seemed like 1 or 2 waitress/waiters, who took the orders w many servers, bringing out the food and cleaning tables. Give or take 40 tables so they were very busy. We waited approximately 15 to 20 minutes just to have the waiter come to us for our drink orders. Another few minutes and they arrived by one of the servers along w toasted baguettes & olive oil w some spices blended in. Another few minutes, our waiter came for our order. One of us had a crock of crab bisque, ($14.95). We were going to have wine but looking around it seemed that they only sold full bottles which explained the high prices on menu, but limited one from just a glass. 25 minutes waiting for our entrees w out even a server let alone our waiter to ask if we needed refills and more bread. I finally flagged down a server. She said she would accommodate us after finishing setting the nearby table which she did, another 10 minutes. Finally after another 15 to 20 minutes more we were served our entrees. We waited almost a full hour. The Bolinase sauce lacked meat. Many tomatoes, spices, but little meat to speak of. My Sunday special was good, not the best meatballs I ever had but good. The sausage was excellent, sauce was good as well. The chicken Parmesan our other guest had was very good, crispy thin, battered chicken topped w sauce and cheese, side of spaghetti. No coffee or dessert so just the bill. To say the least, I was shocked to see it was almost $140 w the upcharge for credit card use I have had much better meals in other South Jersey restaurants for much less & many more w complete meals w apps, wine, dessert, & coffee for the same price. I do not think I'll be back here anytime soon. 2 maybe 3 on a total rating!

I won’t recommend. Mannino’s was clean and the wait staff good, but whoever heard of fried onions and zucchini mixed in with calamari? Not described on the menu, not good. My clams and linguini was a far cry from good and my husband’s veal was tough. Maybe their desserts are good but we didn’t stay to try.

C
Cory Kross

This was my second time here, I honestly most of the food is good. The prices are too high. I took my family for New Years Eve, as the chicken and veal parmigiana are very good. We tried the bruschetta, it was bad. The flavor was all wrong. Lots of oregano in it, which is not listed on the menu. At $18 we did not eat it and told our server, which I even questioned the ingredients, thinking the manager would remove. Nope. My wife and I had the chicken parm but with vodka sauce, we were charged $5 each to change the sauce. This was never mentioned, the vodka sauce was so light I had to request more. It's a real shame as I enjoyed my first visit, and the restaurant is nicely decorated but really need to take a look at their prices. I understand the dishes are prepared fresh and to order, but $38 for chicken parm in Pitman....no way. Plus there is a 3.5% credit card fee. Very disappointing!

Used to come here when it wasn’t so busy. Prices raise while quality plummets. $18 wing dings and $16 “wedge salad”. Wings used to be huge and tender ! No longer !

K

I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I feel I need to. I placed a pickup order for one dinner entree (gnocchi) and one soup of the day (crab bisque). The soup cost $14. There were literally 2 pieces of crab meat in the whole soup, and the rest was vegetables! This is simply dishonest to do to customers. When I picked up my food, I was also told Id be charged a fee for using my debit due to the increase cost of food. You have people CHOOSING to come to your restaurant. They could go anywhere else, driving to your establishment with their own gas, paying you, yet you’re penalizing them for it. Needless to say, I won’t be back.
