On the way to South Tahoe we had lunch in Golden Dragon. There are many Chinese restaurants in town. It was picked because we missed it the last time we passed by 12 years ago. It was closed on Monday. It is a normal Chinese join, nothing fancy. We had a Kung Pao shrimp and Hunan beef. It earns my 5-stars by good service, large quantity, and great price. The beef is tender and juicy. The shrimps have fresh pepper flavour. The noodle is on the greasy side. Lunch special price worked on Sunday, a big plus. Lunch for two sums up <$25.

Second time coming here, food is amazing each time. Soupes and rice are on point, definitely more on the traditional Honk Kong style recipes. I noticed also the dinner and lunch combos are massive portions, so definitely big value given their reasonable prices. Definitely recommend if your in town looking for a nice Chinese restaurant to dine in. The venue is a bit dated, but the food makes up for it.

Great food and service. It was $38 for a large war wonton soup and two dinner plate specials with tons of leftovers. My favorite are the wontons and the chow mein- the beef with broccoli is especially tasty.

Great, fast, professional service and every dish I've ordered over the years has been consistently good! Prices are very reasonable too! I just wish other customers respected the staff enough to wear masks when they enter as the sign reads. If they get sick, they'll have to shut down, and there's no other good Chinese food around Placerville.

Golden Dragon is my absolute favorite restaurant in Placerville hands down. Their food is always fresh and flavorful! Their potstickers are huge and hand made, so they're always a treat. I've never had a bad experience here. Love this place, it deserves way more recognition.

Amazing restaurant the orange chicken was phenomenal, so was the beef spicy garlic, and the walnut shrimp. It is the best place to go to, and their fried rice and their chow main had plenty of protein and tastes great.

I'm very impressed with this restaurant. The construction that has been going on has disabled their internet service and as such they were not able to process my card. But they allowed me to go find some cash to withdraw. The staff is very friendly and they make delicious food and it comes out very fast. I recommend putting some light music in the dining room and maybe a few other little fun things but that is all. Definitely will try again someday.

This is one of my go to Chinese eateries when I am in the Placerville area. The food is always tasty and they give you large portions. Good prices. I've always been happy with their food and the staff is always helpful and nice. Comfortable environment.

I love this place! Whenever I have to work in this area it is my go to lunch spot. The fried rice is excellent, best hot and sour soup and the chicken green beans and Chicken kung Pao are excellent. Staff is always nice and attentive. Large portions as well.

I ordered through the phone which went fine and I was expecting it to be a good vibe when I came to grab my food, all I got was creme cheese wontons and some chicken fried rice. When I came in to grab it the lady didn't look happy to see me more like I was a bother to be there and when I ate my wontons I was happy but my rice actually made me really disappointed and guilty wishing I had just gotten food from work again and that's saying a lot. There was some chicken in it but the other meat looked to dark to be chicken and tasted funky. The rice was quite a bit too stiff for me to be happy with and I could just tell there wasn't really any care put into the meal. It was good priced and quantity but I should definitely want to finish my rice, not stop after a couple bites. When your young and broke these things add up to you not really wanting to go back to a place.
