This review is going to sound so fangirl of me BUT I can’t even say it’s a hidden gem because loads of people cycle through here and it’s well known, I was just late to it. The best way I can describe is that it felt like a lifestyle club or if I dormed and this was the area to chill. They have so many amazing amenities, the workers are absolutely sweet and amazing. The blocked off spaces are amazing, literally so so many areas to just chill, hangout, study. They also have breakfast and lunch options like sandwiches and stuff as well as baked goods and matcha and if you just wanna take a break and go sweat they have that too. They have low toilet options which is actually so amazing for people with kids. I don’t even care for tomato soup but the staff suggested it and it was so yummy. The place was so vibey and definitely deserves the traction it gets, if not more. Def plan on coming in more regularly. They even have cute merch and more seating in the front after you enter which I didn’t get a picture of but super super cute and amazing place to hangout all day, socialize, have some fun etc. Need more wholistic spaces like this throughout the city ngl
I found Local Good Coffee through a Plano Moms post and I’m glad I did. The coffee is excellent and the space is huge, very diverse clientele and the staff is super welcoming. There is a gated playground, pickleball, basketball, sand volleyball, shaded picnic tables, a large covered patio, and a modern indoor area with couches, tables, a quiet room, kids corner, and great A/C for Texas summers. It feels both upscale and relaxed. Drinks are priced the same or less than big chains but the experience is on another level and some do the proceeds are for good cause locally. We tried the cheese pizza and the kid ate every bite. The crust was soft, fluffy, and a little chewy. We only planned to stop for a coffee before lunch but ended up staying for hours.
This place is AWESOME! The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was exceptional. I got to enjoy my coffee/breakfast while my kid played in the kids corner. Then we went outside and enjoyed the amenities. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Delicious coffee and very comfy cozy sitting areas. For additional peace of mind they have a silent library for you. Croissants are very crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Would definitely recommend if you want to sit down and chill and enjoy some bakery goods and coffee. Plenty of parking and its right off of 75.
A one-in-a-million find in Plano! My vanilla latte was incredibly creamy and smooth, with a distinct flavor that puts corporate chains to shame. My daughter also loved her honey oat milk matcha. The space is huge, featuring quiet work zones, community areas, and a great patio. Best of all, it’s a nonprofit supporting a local food pantry. It feels good to support a business that gives back while serving a top-tier brew. Highly recommend. The pastries were a hit and miss for me however I only had two and I will keep trying.
Great coffee spot that accommodates almost any persona. Be it a library spot or a kids play area. They have it. The customer service here is top notch.
I stumbled upon GOOD COFFEE Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. The blond guy at the till is so, so nice and inviting!!. The PSL coffee is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. It’s a great spot to take a break, study, have a meeting or read , whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or looking for a cozy place to work. Highly recommend! Check the open MIC NIGHT
Giant coffee shop with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, half-basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts. There's a a large patio area in the front as well as a large deck in the back that overlooks several trees. Inside there are stools along a window counter, lots of cushy chairs and couches, standard tables and also a quieter enclosed "library" space. They have coffees and teas, pastries, some hot food items and ice cream. There are grab-and-go items including apples, bananas, containered fruit, crackers/nuts/cheese. Self-serve water is available as well as a water bottle fill station (near the restroom). Highly recommend!
I love this place, it has such a vibe. Big comfy couches, study area, playground, pickle courts. Good coffee
This place is amazing and good for all ages! There's a playground for kids & pickleball/ volleyball/ basketball court. There's plenty of outside sitting and inside and a quiet room to study. Food was delicious and coffee was perfection. Will be back!
Lots of good coffee shops in the D/FW area, and that's an understatement. Finding a new one and trying it out is cool to me. This one might be one of my favorite I've ever seen. I love all the seating. There is plenty of room inside and out. Plus, there is a nice variety of seating types. You want to lounge and use your lap as a desk? Maybe sit at a small table or a big table for multiple people? Or, what about a separate space for a meeting with your team? They have it all. On top of that, they have recreational areas. Plus, if this matters to you, their coffee was seriously delicious! When I get to the area, this will be a must stop.

Wonderful cute coffee shop! Chai latte was okay, I feel like it could have been a little stronger though. Loved the vibes here and it’s huge! What a great spot for a little bit of everything. Staff were super nice. Love that they have a quiet area also. 🥰💕Just wish there were some vegan food options, soup or something.

Loved it here! Brought my 2.5 year old and she enjoyed the gated outdoor play area until the heat got to be too much, so we moved to the indoor play area. Perfect spot for a mom to actually enjoy her coffee (which was also delicious!)
This is hands down my favorite gourmet coffee shop in the DFW area! The coffee and food are exceptional, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the space is absolutely beautiful. I love the inviting atmosphere and how this place truly brings the community together. They definitely live up to their name!
Delicious coffee, incredible calming atmosphere and great staff! Whether you need a place to work. catch up with a friend over coffee or bring your young ones for a full day of fun. This is it! This place balances the indoor and outdoor so well. Me and my family a half day day there once, reading, playing basketball, and Ga-Ga Ball. and left with a good time! The staff is so friendly and delivers the order quickly, even on their busiest days! One spot for all ages and all things!
I'm a regular for the ambiance. The quiet room is conducive to creative writing. I'm working on a book. Soft background music caresses the brain without demanding attention. I like the americano. The drip is a little too dark for my taste. Your mileage may vary. Pastries look yummy but my waistline says no. It's a great meet-up place for people of all ages.
This might be one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to because it just has so many things to do other than enjoy delicious coffee. Pickleball, basketball, outdoor seating in the sun, clean bathrooms, a quiet/library area and the list goes on. On top of that, they actually have great coffee as the cinnamon roll latte has been my favorite so far.
Local Good Coffee is a total game-changer. The vibe is absolutely immaculate—warm, modern, and the kind of place where you actually want to hang out for hours instead of just grabbing a cup and bolting. The coffee itself is legit amazing; you can tell they actually care about the craft, and it’s consistently spot-on. What really sets them apart, though, is how much utility they’ve packed into the shop. They have a ton of amenities and dedicated rooms for studying or meetings, which is such a lifesaver. It’s even become a favorite for my kids, who love hanging out there to get some reading done or power through their schoolwork. It’s that rare "third place" that nails both the aesthetic and the functionality for the whole family.
LOVE local Good coffee! It's such a great place that is a coffee shop that prioritizes building community. Love that I can go there and spend my money in a way that the profits go right back into our local community offering services to help people get jobs, building a life, supporting a food pantry. I bought almost all my gift cards from here for Christmas. I didn't want to spend my money on gifts at a big corporation just lining share holders profits. I wanted my gifts to be supporting a "business" that is good for the community! BTW Local Good Coffee is a non profit because all the profit goes into local community support programs.

First of all, this cafe is wildly SPACIOUS with so many tables, chairs, couches, and rooms. It is just not a cafe, but there are recreational areas that you can enjoy with a cup of coffee. I especially loved the patio area surrounded by little nature with many trees. This place is such a perfect place to spend great time with friends or family. But one reason that I'm giving four stars is that their menu is pretty limited and I wish they had some specialty or more variety of drink options.

Coffee was good but not anything you can’t get elsewhere. I got a sugar free vanilla and white chocolate iced latte. I ordered a mixed berry cream cheese danish but it was mostly just cream cheese. The service was super quick and there were plenty of activities here. I would go back simply to support the mission of this place!
Overall it’s a nice coffee shop for college students or adults to hang out. Maybe older kids as well. Coffee and bakery are decent. Not too bad and staffs are nice. It’s a good place to work or study or have a nice conversation with few friends. But I wouldn’t recommend here for young kids like 1-2 years old. They do have an indoor play area but it’s quite dirty. The floor and all toys are sticky. Toys are very beat up. Outside is good if the weather is not too hot because there is no shades at all. So it will be great if they have some shades for the playground.

Decided to stop by since it was on my way and it was highly rated. I got 2 12oz Vanilla Lattes. The coffee shop is pretty big facility which is nice to come and relax indoor and outdoor but my review is on the coffee. Coffee was a disappointment and so was customer service. The lady that took my order wasn’t welcome no smile, or help since it was my first time. Coffee was watered down and the vanilla didn’t help. It gave us heartburn and when that happen it’s low quality beans. I had ordered it togo and the gentlemen that gave me the coffee said there are the lids and the cup holders so I had to do it on my own.
The interior is beautiful, very unique and relaxing. However the quality of thier food and drinks are below whats expected. I tried grilled cheese and thier chicken sandwich, thirr girll cheese is boring and the sandwich taste nothing like what is described. Thier Empanada was veryyy dry and flavorless. Thier coffee is no where near anything thats is offered around plano. Is not worth it.
Drinks: Disappointing. Bitter coffee. Weak matcha. Pastries: Solid. I like that they come from local DFW bakeries, including gluten free goods from a dedicated gluten free bakery. Service: Disappointing. There were no lids for iced drinks, I wasn’t offered a drink carrier for my two lidless drinks, so I had to ask for a carrier when I reminded staff that I ordered pastries. I also saw several people ask for the self-serve water container to be refilled, only to be directed to a water fountain. Atmosphere: Lovely. There are different areas for lounging, including a designated quiet library space. Outside, there’s a playground and sports area — a nice touch for families.
