I go here after work some nights and they always have great food, highly recommend the quesadillas or the burgers, and the wings and chips and salsa are awesome. Drinks are fairly priced and the staff is quick and responsive. They also do Karaoke on some nights and it's fun. A lot of the customers are friendly and helpful. All together its a very open bar and has a good vibe to it.

Only one batista and one waitress.. when it's busy it's bad. Once I never did get drink They said they can't find anybody to work there. Shocking but believable. We love the tiny waitres.

The food here is above average for a sports bar. Have had wings, burgers, Rueben sandwiches, patty melt, Cobb salad with chicken and more. All have been fresh. All outstanding.

Monday nights are half price appetizers and a discount for other servers and bartenders in the industry. Tuesday nights are $2 wells and domestic bottles and drafts (including shiner woohoo!) Wednesday nights there is a seafood special. Every night but Thursday is karaoke with Belch around 10 p.m. Good singers! Kitchen is open with full menu til around 1:30. Patio for smoking. Cold draft beer. They also have speaker boxes you can put at your table to listen to whichever of the many televisions you are watching. :) :) :)

The service here is excellent, especially the server Kristen who caters to all with a jovial attitude and will leave you laughing. Beers on tap are a good variety And the new and improved food menu has something for everyone.

Just left Plano Sports Tavern and the bbq was some of the best I have ever had. The sauce was awesome and you need to try it if you like bbq. I did not expect it to be so good with being a sports bar but it was.

This is such a fun place. Thursday night was karaoke and it was good singing and a great atmosphere! Jaci was the bartender and did an amazing job! She took care of the bar and everyone so well! It was impressive! Kitchen closes at 10. Go and have a good time.

This place never disappoints! Kareoke on Tuesdays, live bands on Fridays! Great drinks and food, and they have 2 billiards tables, if you like that kind of stuff. If Nene is behind the bar, she will take care of you! Definitely check them out for a great time!

The bar, itself, isn't that special. The bartenders are ridiculously cool and good at their jobs, though, the customers, mostly die-hard regulars, are a fun-loving, fearless, welcoming, and non-judgmental. The nights to come are Tuesdays and Thursdays because the best KJ in Collin County runs popular karaoke nights. No one cares if you sing well or even know your song. This bar is dominated by Democratic activists, though, so if you don't like progressive politics, maybe find a honky tonk in Hunt County.

It's a generic, safe suburban bar, but still a really fun time. Food is good, and there's a dozen or beers on tap. Pool tables and TVs and live music on the weekends. Good prices.

Everything was amazing! The food was wonderful, our server (I did not catch her name, but our visit was approximately 8pm until 10:30 or 11:00 the night of Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022) was perfect and super attentive! We were there to see a live band, Feudal Rock Society (also great!), and we will definitely be back.

I've always loved this place especially the service at the bar. The bartenders make everyone feel at home. Gwen makes the best drinks and she really cares about the patrons and always tries to make newcomers fit in with the regulars. I was there a couple of nights ago and although she was a under the weather and without a server (the long time server quit), she still managed to do a great job tending to guests.

This bar is always so friendly and inviting. It's a very safe place for me to come hang out with my friends and see the friendly staff. Especially Kristen! She's always so friendly and sweet and makes me feel at home! Not only is she the sweetest friend I've made here, but she treats every patron like family, and I value that so much! Hands down my favorite employee at that place.

Dropped in with my wife. 1st time at the place. This is a quesential neighborhood sports bar. Folks were playing cares, dominos and avg age of customers waa at least mid 50s. They were short staffed but the service was good and staff were so nice. Beer was cold.

The waitresses have been doing this awhile and understand the value of customer service and a sense of urgency. Brittany especially is amazing and instantly makes you feel at home. Also, a great group of regulars go there and I always have a good time Everytime I go there. Whether you want to watch the game, listen to music, shoot pool, or simply sit outside on the patio; this place is a great sports bar at Parker and Custer.

I really enjoyed my visit. Very cozy, neighborhood joint. You get a membership by showing your ID and that's it. Burger did the job and the drinks were affordable.

I left a poor review 6 years ago, I left 1 star. But, this place has definitely changed A LOT since my last visit. Ide definitely recommend coming now. My friends really love the place and some I've been back I can say I definitely enjoyed my time.

A cozy spot where the drinks are cold and the food is great. I also really enjoy the live music there! Especially enjoyed these guys who are called Below The Radar!

Love, love, love this place!!! I have been coming here for YEARS, and for good reason!!!! So many regulars, which speaks volumes about a place. Gwen is the absolute best bartender and is a staple of the establishment. Drinks are great, food is amazing, during the afternoon the noise level is very quiet. The regulars are friendly. The bathrooms are always clean and smell good lol, which is a rarity for a bar. I can't say enough positive things!! Great for a group of friends, a date, a meeting, or even working remote. A great place to hang out and have a beer. The food is bar food, but it's tasty! All of the bartenders are dynamite, especially Gwen and Sam. It feels like the "Cheers" of our neighborhood. I don't play, but it seems there's always a game of pool going. Very friendly establishment and patrons.

The most lovely experience I've ever had. It was band night and the band was absolutely amazing. Seeing all the people so happy, joyous and just filled with glee was just beautiful. Our server Brett was amazing, it was so busy and he still found time to check in on us which was great. The food was delicious and yummy, beers were cold and lovely. The atmosphere was just superb and I definitely recommend a visit to Plano Sports Tavern. Definitely a 5***** for me.

Go to local bar/restaurant. Off menu daily lunch special are all winners. Today is Salisbury steak. Micheladas by Hannah are made with love. Refreshing any time of the year.

This is a cozy neighborhood restaurant with a bar and patio for conversation. Parking is easy and live entertainment is on weekends. A pretty substantial menu with full plates. This is a feel good spot where customers are having a good time.

Food is fantastic, in fact, some of the best bar food i've eaten in a long time....except.....the new owners have chosen to stop serving food after 10Pm weekdays. A neighborhood dive with plenty of regulars. Friendly bartenders and staff that always make you feel welcome. If they see you more than a couple of times they make it a point to know your name and your drink. Karaoke most nights and live trivia on Thursdays.

Pretty casual place. I met up with a few friends here recently, and had some pretty basic pub-type food and it was pretty decent. Crowd was friendly, televisions were on but not drowning out conversation, and staff was attentive.

This is a good little sports bar with lots of TVs, a great mix of seating, a pool table, a jukebox, and a good variety of food. The patty melt was good, but the French fries seemed bland and old. My drink was well made, with a reasonable but not excessive amount of alcohol for the size. The pretzel bites were not worth the cost, compared to, perhaps, Rock and Brews, where the pretzel and its deadly mustard are worth the money if you're a fan of making your nasal passages scream in pain. Service was slow and slightly unprofessional, in spite of not being busy. Our waiter seemed more interested in rolling silverware in plain sight.

Cool place. Great service and friendly staff. The wings are great! I would only say the older clients are the larger crowd until about 9:00p.m. Then the crowd is younger and the music is louder and faster.

I have been there two or three times. I haven’t been there more because my drinking days are over. Food and service are always good. Today I had a Chiefs’s Salad and a Cup of Chili. Both good. I would not hesitate to stop by and order again.

This is a friendly neighborhood bar with a good staff behind the bar and a cadre of regulars that have patronized this place long enough that they know each other by name. Beer and drink selection are fairly standard compared to similar establishments. Food choices and quality are probably a step above what you'll typically see in most neighborhood bars. "Special" events such as bands or bingo nights provide entertainment variations on different nights which engender comraderie among the patrons. Pool tables are available for those who enjoy the game. Overall atmosphere is nothing special - it's adequate, nothing more. Overall, it's not a bad place to relax and spend time with friends before retiring for the day.

I enjoyed the roomy, well lit & great acoustics of this easily accessible, safe place☺️ I gave 4⭐for good, yet I didn't enjoy good menu. Prime rib plus leftovers were my dinner before the Tavern.

I went to see the Merseymen play at this tavern. It was hard to get anyone to notice me to order food. I found the menus on my own and when I asked the two ladies in the kitchen if anyone was taking food orders they were pretty rude. Once I got our order put in the food came out super fast! The food was also very good, I ordered the sample platter, the potato skins were excellent and I would definitely eat here again. We also ordered the chicken caeser salad which was good. I ordered an expresso martini that was very good-I would highly recommend asking them to use a better brand of vodka in it though, the well vodka gave me a headache. The prices of everything were very good, the martini was only 8.75, so definitely worth the money to just have them use a top shelf vodka. There were some service issues throughout the night that were a little annoying and frustrating but it balanced out-good music, good food. The bathroom needed attention, so it kind of seems like they need one more person to help them with the work load. Large parking lot made it easy to find parking with a small trailer.

I was there for quick bites, the place had live band, old and decent crowd. Tried to order vegetarian food but not lot much of option so end up ordering pizza which came out really well. I like the gesture for complimentary beer without asking as they don’t have options for vegetarian food. Suggestions: vegetarian and vegan is big market you are missing

Very laid back environment. On Sundays, they don't have a waitress and the bartender has to help wait on tables. She let us know that right away, so we wouldn't think that she was ignoring us or something. She was very polite. The place was only busy at the bar area. The "Wicked Good" burger was as the name implied. So I do recommend it. The boneless chicken bites were more breading than chicken and therefore, they are not really recommended. For Pokémon Go players: There is a gym and Pokestop at this location. Not to mention lots of random spawns. Great place to relax, play and grab a snack or a stiff drink.

Our waitress wasn't paying attention to us. Took too long to get orders placed and ultimately the check. Also, the Nacho Mama Nachos, were too soggy at the bottom of the dish. Cheese sauce was too watery in my opinion.

I was pleasantly surprised. Large place with screens everywhere for all the Sunday afternoon football games. Happy sports loving clientele. Waitresses super friendly and attentuve. Sweet potato fries weren't quite done. Grilled shrimp po boy okay. Bathrooms clean.

Went to watch a football game and have something to eat...food was pretty good,but the bartender was all by herself with a full bar and several tables, so all things considered service was ok,could have been better if they had a server on the floor. This is the worst place for service. Consistently takes 15 to 30 min to get a drink and the way it is set up, it's hard to get around people without bumping ot squeezing by them. The service is super super slow. Not the servers fault, the owner needs staff better with more bartenders and servers.

Mozzarella sticks look like they're made out of funnel cake batter, and the burgers are now the pre-packaged meat byproduct patties that I'd rather use as lawn fertilizer than eat. Came in here and took a while for me to get a drink. Bartender had an attitude as soon as I sat down. Not just with me but with other customers. You could tell she was talking about people by the way she stuck around one person majority of the time covering her mouth. Her customer service made me feel uneasy. Her name started with a J? Cant really remember her name.

Our waiter was great. Kitchen staff and bartender left a lot to be desired. We started with draft beers which my bf got his in a timely manner. We asked about mine after 20 minutes and the bartender had not bothered to tell our waiter that the beer I ordered was no longer available. We then went ahead and ordered food. I ordered nachos with no olives or lettuce he ordered chicken fried steak. Food came out in a timely matter but mine was loaded with lettuce and olives, no big deal I can pick that stuff off. His chicken fried steak was not even beef! It was chicken! He said it was good but you know when you have your taste buds ready for one thing and it turns out another it can be disappointing. The last straw was ordering Jameson and being served Crown. This experience was a total let down.

this is a very bad place. My wife died on 2/28/16 I thought I was ready to go back out into the bars until I went there. I was told by another customer they wanted me to get away from him because I was wearing a Trump mask two weeks ago. She had to tell me I wasn't welcome there anymore. She is pregnant and had her young son with her so I couldn't be mean to her. So I gave her $200.00 in cash and told her, God bless you, your son and your baby

No towels in bathroom, dryers do not work. Only one poor lady at the bar, totally overworked, no water filter - drinks are chlorine, other waiter very unfriendly.

Went for Monday Night Football. Was told they “don’t get ESPN,” a channel that is in every basic cable/satellite package ever, and a pretty minimum expectation for a place that puts Sports in its name. Wow.

I frequent this bar a lot. Often times with co-workers. I may have a drink or two, then when the bill comes I'm usually the one who pays. I write a tip amount on the receipt, or write $0.00 if I leave cash. I recently went in and was told I couldn't be served because I never leave a tip. If they don't take it when they run the card or collect the cash and not say anything, is that my fault? The bartender/former Coke Head/former Starbucks barista can screw himself. Belch is the best at Karaoke. He would be the only reason I return. But I will continue to spread the word about the bartender. He must have been going through withdrawals that night. Do you expect me to pay $20 for a $5 watered down drink?

The food was just bad. I had a cobb salad which was old iceberg lettuce with a bunch of chopped up egg in it. No tomatoes or leafy greens. And my buddy had a ham sandwich with fries and he barely ate any of it. I do not recommend food here.

5 pm June 15th 2021. Bartender lady already poured my drinks and I never did drink them. She came back saying my card declined and asked if I had another way of paying. As soon as the word no left my mouth she cut me off crying about she had to pay my tab, if she would have not interupted and through a fit and grabbed and poured out my drinks and let me continue with what I was trying to say she would have heard all I had to do was transfer money from another account and it would take 2 seconds. She was extremely rude when I was ordering so I didn't care after her little breakdown.

Honestly, a pretty pathetic place. Full of "regulars" with anger issues, drinking problems, and gambling issues who think it's okay to make threats to other patrons. Management does nothing because they don’t want to lose their biggest customers.

I’ll get the compliments out of the way first: there’s plenty of TVs, the drinks are cheap, and the wait staff is attentive. The problem is that the so called “Sports Tavern” played live music during the Mavs game. They’re in the conference finals, and it was clear that less than half the patrons were there to see the band play. What kind of sports bar has dad rock dudes playing over a huge LOCAL playoff series?? It totally killed our experience and several people left the moment it was clear that the band was going to play. Read the room, or your sign, Plano “Sports Tavern.”

This place always has a dead energy and it's most suitable for the 55 and up crowd. The restrooms always stink which makes me think how can I ever enjoy the food at a place where the restroom stink The upside to the place is that it has a great live band energy that best suits the 55 and up crowd. The beer is never really crisp nor is it really ever flat but it could be better. The food is your typical bar food where it's there but not really there and I think the smell of the restrooms probably linger over your food and add that tangy flavor that you enjoy

Was having a great time , enjoying the the music. Was there 30 minutes, dancing, and ordered my first drink. Went to the restroom, and walked through the back of the bar and before I got to restroom, a women got in my face, with her finger in my face and said, “don’t ever walk through my bar area again”. I had no idea I walked through a restricted area and was shocked by her aggressive approach. When I returned to my friends at the bar, I was telling them what happened and the same aggressive bartender approached us and said, do you have a problem. I said, I was just telling them what happened, and she accused me of being drunk and took my FIRST drink from me a d to leave. My first time there, was having a great time, and was being kicked out because I walked across the back of the bar. Had no idea it was a restricted area. She was rude, angry and aggressive and no customer should ever experience such humiliation. Shame, fun place but will never go back. She owes me an apology

I had one drink and it was over $10 for a bloody Mary which was mostly ice. However if you're looking for a place to hang out as a couple and you're over 40 You'll probably have a really good time. If you're going there to meet somebody don't waste your time. This place is all couples and friends.

The waitress chewed us out for asking for water at the bar after waiting 1/2 an hour or so at our table. She told us SHE was taking our tab, it was HER table and for us NOT to go to the bar again! Never saw her again! Never offered food, drinks or a menu. The band was GREAT (Aquarius All Stars) but we will NEVER return. Other venues treat us very well and are glad to take a $20 to keep our waters filled and leave us in peace to enjoy the band! 😉

Have frequently been to the Plano Sports Tavern for years. Even went to the Franchise (it’s former name).They have dropped the NFL network. No games other than local football channels now. I assume Sports will be removed from the name soon.. No sound for Thursday night games but karaoke if you need it instead of the games.

I recently visited this bar in Plano with a good friend for a casual day out. We sat at the bar, enjoyed a few drinks, and played bingo — it was a low-key day. To my surprise, when I politely asked for another round, the bartender told me I was being cut off. I had not acted disruptive or intoxicated in any way, and I was calm, respectful, and simply enjoying the day. What made the experience even more disappointing was the bartender’s attitude. She abruptly snatched my tab off the bar without a word and then went outside to confront my best friend about me — which felt incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary. I’m someone who always shows respect to service staff, and I didn’t feel that was returned. The situation was awkward, uncomfortable, and frankly unjustified. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others seeking a welcoming atmosphere.

Food was meh, only liked the fries (homemade/old styled - super good). Burger smelt like strange bacon, pizza reminded me of something from the school cafeteria. A friend even got sick the next day. Servers were plain rude, and were intentionally ignoring my group. They were yelling and being highly disrespectful to everyone. This is not Dick’s Last Resort, this is a tavern bar. The place (atmosphere) itself was pretty cool. There was live entertainment, pool tables, lots of tv’s. It was a great space. The food and service did not live up to that standard. Overall, the place was super meh.

Honestly, one of the worst bars I’ve ever been to in my life. I personally love dive bars but with the service I received, the smell of vomit, on top of the lackluster environment, this place is a hot pile of garbage. The bartender that lacked the skills necessary to take multiple simple drink orders at a time, had one of her Apple AirPods in and had to pause her ever so important music to hear my order after I stood and waited for over 5 minutes during a slow period, while the only other person behind the bar, who I could only assume was a bartender, just stood and talked to customers. This place is a def no go.
