The server is really fast at attending you, which is always appreciated, the ambience is really calm I like it , you should try it, even though all of the food is made by order, the cook is really good at what she does.

Great place to stop by and grab a great meal. I will say the Chilly Fries are a must have the Sourdough Sandwich was also great. Staff goes above and beyond when its only a few of them and suddenly tons of people start to show up all of sudden. Definitely a must place and business to stop by and show them some support plus the menu and food is awesome 👌

well, this is a pleasant treat here at the 4000 foot elevation of Pollock Pines along the historic pony express Trail. It’s an independently owned burger slang’n business that has all the good stuff. Best of all for you plant based soy nugget huggers like me. They have a Beyond Burger that’s top notch. Order this up with guacamole and jalapeño if you’re a Hot One. cholula hot sauce is available too. The patio here is what i like the best. Theres a shade structure, huge plants and hella room for you and your menagerie of emotional support animals. My only complaint: the proud patriot flags they block the sign telling us what the place is called 🇺🇸 Peep the photos. now git it!

Service was quick and our waitress was nice. The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. We sat inside because it was a little chilly but next time I do want to enjoy the outdoor area. I had the chili burger with onions and mozzarella sticks. My son had the regular cheeseburger and fries. They had the food out to us quickly. Everything was well cooked and tasted good. We got shakes to go. They were amazing!!!

The service here was beyond excellent. You walked up to a window to order.. they practiced social distancing. Dining was available outside. Abby was our server..I would give her 10 stars. She was sweet. She brought our food out to us when it was ready. We ordered the Swiss Mushroom 🍄Double Cheeseburger and the Spicy Jalapeños and Habanero Double Cheeseburger, large fries, Fried Mushrooms 🍄 , Fried onion 🌰 rings and a large Pepsi. I would recommend The Burger Barn to everyone visiting Pollock Pines. WE were happy and stuffed.. no room for dinner. Today is Chris's Birthday.. we were planning on eating dinner later but were completely full!! Thank you Abby for your excellent service.

I would say this is a great spot to go if you want a good to great burger. They have lots of choices and the portions are large. The sides we got were fries and they were made nice and crispy. Burger wasnt anything crazy but satisfying. The atmosphere was cool but the service was just okay, if you sit outside plan on getting up yourself to get refills. They won't check on you after they deliver your food. Flies were a problem too when sitting outside so beware. Overall I enjoyed it though. They also have a decent selection of different burgers, fries and ice cream shakes!

Was in this area with my daughter and grandson house shopping and decided to give one of the local establishments a try and to get a feel for the area. It was a holiday weekend, so they were pretty busy, but we got seated right away. They had plenty of good choices besides burgers. My daughter got the Turkey Melt, my grandson got a double cheese burger and I got a grilled chicken sandwich. We also ordered onion rings, waffle fries and beer battered fries. Oh, my grandson also got a shake. All of it was very good and we all left very stuffed. Everyone was happy with their food. If I had to complain about something, it would be how long it took. But to their defense, it was pretty busy and I wasn't really in a rush. So I really didn't mind. If I'm ever around the area again, I will return. The staff was super friendly too!

Had traveled all day from out of town & this was the only place open to eat. We were starved, service was great & friendly, but sadly the burgers were blah. Ordered the Swiss mushroom burger & it was basically a burger with raw onion, a slice of cheese & canned mushrooms on it. Not what i was expecting & should have read the description better. Fries were good & it was a great stop before heading back on the road.

Food is ok. I am never really impressed coming here but its one of the few restaurants in Pollock Pines so 🤷. Its kinda on the grungy side but the service is always good. In general the quality has gone down.
