This is my favorite chipotle in the area. The people here are super friendly. The food is most often fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The portions are reasonable especially given our current “fakeflation.” Sometimes the lobby is messy, but the food and friendly staff are what keep me coming.

The appeal of this excellent restaurant is super high for me because of the look of openness high ceiling when you enter. All the food is all true high quality and the meat is humanely sourced which is a deep commitment that I also honor. Ordering the food is an awesome experience because it's prepared in front of you just how you ask and the servers are so energetic and positive it makes me want to enjoy my meal. I like the seating arrangement where there are circular corner boost and small tables and outdoor seating plus the music playlist is very cool. I can't get enough of this food it's so good.

Delicious food and speedy service. We usually order online and pick up at the store. It is so simple to completely customize your order online to your liking and then skip the line when you come in to pick it up. They package everything up very tidy. There is plenty of parking but this location can get very crowded during lunchtime. The food is fresh and yummy.

This is my teenage sons favorite, he goes to this location all the time. He loves the rice and black beans. They are usually very quick. However after covid they have been short staffed, one time they were only taking online order when we arrived because of not having the staff, so I had to order on my phone while in the restaurant. That said they have always gotten our order right and food is fresh. So even with the staff issues I am giving them a 5 star! I like the fact they are one of the few eateries that offer Coke Zero but I also enjoy the ice tea!

I enjoy the food here! Tonight we ordered the 3 chicken hard shell tacos. I thought they tasted very good. The other night my boss ordered it for us and I had the chicken burrito fully loaded with pretty much everything on it. That was also good and the burrito was huge! Overall good food and good service I will be going back after not eating there for awhile. Glad I came back!

Ordered 3 bowls for myself and colleagues as i picked up the bag more than a quart of watery substance poured through the bag and almost lost my bowls of soup i mean burrito bowls….. maybe less water and more beans. I love chipotle and run into this quite often however this was very excessive.

There's really no bad choice when eating at Chipotle. Today I ordered a steak and chicken burrito and asked them to add the Queso Blanco inside the burrito. This adds a few calories but I can only eat half and I end up saving the other half for breakfast. This way it only adds up to about 600 calories which is manageable.

We ordered 4 meals online, walked in with no one around, 8 other walk ins came in and got their orders made. Our orders were then brought out. Checked the bag, and was missing a meal. Asked them about it and they made it. Brought it out and not one word.

It’s been a minute since I have frequented this chipotle. Trash cans over flowing, no tables cleaned, missing meats from the menu and rushed service. There was literally no one there and the place looked horrible. Young lady starting our plates was more interested in finishing her discussion about finding a new gym in the area than focusing on the customer. Very disappointing.

Chipotle is known for their generous portions, especially with burritos and bowls, but this one really missed the mark. Out of two bowls and one burrito, none of the orders came out fully right. Maybe I caught a new employee or an understaffed moment there were only two people working (a young woman and a man at the register)but it lacked the usual care I’ve come to expect. The Chipotle I go to regularly in Arizona has a full team with a manager present, and the difference in quality and service is clear. Not the worst experience, but definitely a letdown from a brand I usually rely on.

I was 6th in line yet it took so long to get my food. One of the things I ordered was a kids meal quesadilla. I don't usually get this so I didn't realize they charged me $9 instead of $4 for the quesadilla and didn't pack the chips and milk the kids meal is supposed to come with. I haven't been to a Chipotle in a while because of all the bad experiences I've had with various locations messing up my order and over charging me. At least they're consistent, I guess.

Normally this chipotle is nice but this time I ordered in the app and they took an extra 7 minutes. I also paid the extra $2.75 for guacamole and it was brown and tasted overripe. I just low key feel like my $17 bowl should be a little fresher.

I frequent the Mira Mesa location. Poway Chipotle does not compare. The chips are tasteless, not even salty. I ordered a whole bag and left it after 3 chips. The quesadilla was ok but had way too much cheese oozing and stuck to the foil. Even the aqua frescas weren't worth the money, just no flavor calling me to drink more. I love the Mira Mesa chips so much more. I stopped in at Poway Chipotle on Cinco de Mayo because on the app and by text, I read you could get free chips and queso with a regular purchase. Not available at this location, only online. My text and my app did not say that. I will not come back to this location again. Not customer friendly, they're just there for a paycheck.

I ordered a bowl with double meat, but there was barely even a regular portion—mostly rice, hardly any protein. I also asked not to include fajita veggies, and they added them anyway. It felt like they just ignored the order details. Disappointing experience

Hi, I arrived at 9:00 PM and was ignored for several minutes while the employees were cleaning right in front of me. I was told that the grill was already closed down for the night. This location doesn’t close until 10:00. Is the grill supposed to close an hour before the store? I have worked in restaurants for thirty years and it didn’t matter if a customer came in one minute before close and everything was clean, we still had to make whatever they wanted. Is this not the same with Chipotle?

This location never has plain white rice whenever I go. This problem is unique to this location; I've never had this issue at the Mira Mesa or Carmel Mtn location. Then, If I get the cilantro lime white rice, it's always hard and undercooked and ruins the meal. Today, the server put such a large quantity of beans, that the plate crumbled because of all the sauce/liquid in my car. Additionally, the barbacoa was extremely salty and just outright inedible. He also tried to put lettuce that was mixed with rice and some other meat into my bowl, and then put it back. I don't understand how that's not a cross-contamination concern for vegetarians. He didn't even care when my wife asked him to not do that. This location has been disappointing for years, and this was just the last straw.

All tables nasty dirty. No chips. No re-circulating fountain drinks (clear plastic tanks looked disgusting inside). Didn't give me the extra protein I paid extra for!! Highly irritable staff that handled our lunch order. Arrived 10 min passed the confirmed pick-up time, and the order was not ready. The person was rude and lacked basic customer skills. Have been a Chipotle customer for over a decade and have not seen such mediocre service before. Eventually got the order 20 min late without any acknowledgment or apologies from the staff for being late. Service at this location seems to be headed downhill.

Went in at 4pm on 03/10/24. The place was sooo dirrty and filthy. Tables with food. The prep area dirrty. The make line dirrty. It was a group of us of 5 and as soon as the employee saw us he had a pissed of face and mumbled something. Gross and filthy. We left Disgusted. I always say that if you dont have patience for working in food industry, quit. I worked in this industry for 10 years and once i burnt out i put my two week notice but never treated customer bad. We had jobs because of customers and they job put food on my table too. I left when i finally decided it was time to quit.

Came in at 8:00pm. Not even that late. However all the food is completely dried out and looks disgusting. They don’t make anything fresh and there’s teenagers working there with attitude. They don’t even say hi when you come in. They take their sweet time before helping you.

This place is always out of multiple items. Ive gone 15min after open and all they have prepared is chicken, no bags in trashcan, fountain drink nozzles weren't on. Today, out of multiple items for dinner and an employee is talking to a another employee that wasnt working and cussing to him about work while 2 other customers are standing there just waiting. I dont know how you can open without the basics being completed and CONTINUOUSLY not prep correctly. management needs to take a hard look at this location. Will not be going here again

This store is run by highschool kids! Just had an awful experience at Chipotle Poway. Huge line for only 1 person working the food station. More than 20 min wait to have a rude cashier, just to leave out my side tortilla. Figure it out, its a Thursday night…

Tonight I was treated so bad I’ll never return to this location. We visited the restaurant around 8:24pm well before the 10:00pm closing time. I understand restaurants running out of food items and being short handed. So, I was okay with them being out of cheese. I was going to come home and put cheese on myself. But then I saw an employee touch the trash and then start handling my food. Then I when they bagged our the was guacamole and salsa all over the outside of food. So, I kindly asked to speak to the manager. The manager was so disrespectful. He told me there was nothing wrong with my food and I don’t deserve a refund. I asked again nicely to be issues a refund and was called names as he walked away. I’ve been in his shoes and completely understand how frustrating it is to be short handed and and out items. Please be warned this location could get you sick. Please share!!!

Every single time I order at this specific chipotle they always mess it up. Today I gave them my last chance, not only did they not give me guac but they also did not give me my double portion of chicken. I paid for the gua and I had a freepotle for the double protien. The bowl however was full of corn salsa, like an unholy amount of it. I had to discard it since I could barely get threw a few bites. It was literally sour cream, rice and corn and beans. I am not understand how you miss 2 things that are considered extras you pay for. I have already reached out to corporate as this service provided at this location is really poor.

Went there to order a bowl on December 19 and asked for kids bowl. The girl working was very sweet but she told me they don’t have kids bowl but they can make regular bowl into a kids one so I said okay just add half of everything you would add on a regular bowl. My regular size bowl had half of the contents and when she rang me up she charged me for the full price. I asked her isn’t the kids bowl for 4.95 she replied because we don’t have kids bowl we can’t give you that price. Either take the kids option out of your menu or be upfront with your customers.

1.Useless service . U need to wait forever for person to take your order . Same person takes order and billing. Waited more than 20 min with just one person ahead of me . 2. They say they are out of “fajitas” . I went to this location for my usual chicken salad bowl. The salad the server tried to give me was slimy and had moldy pieces. When I pointed it out to him, he couldn't seem to see what I clearly saw. He was young and not thst interested in customer engagement. This salad should probably been tossed out 3 to 5 days This store seems to have no problem serving unsafe food.

This store is so neglected by management and it shows in the overall service, cleanliness and food freshness and availability! Such an embarrassment to the Chipotle brand! Ridiculous never again, I approached the lady and acknowledged her that I normally get a decent amount of protein as all they just gave me what ever left over on the 3rd pan and that was less than 3 oz total and Never again this used to be my 1st choice of Mexican, coming from a former Professional Line cook at reputable places I have restaurant experience and this was a unique embarrasment with that scarce protein and attitude

Walked in was greeted by the guy. I got my burrito made, guacamole was added as usual. No line at the time. I go to the register and the guy proceeds to ask me did I get guacamole. What world is he in. I knew where this was going. When he was the one who made it. No customer service skills. I asked for some limes typical thing to have at a store that sells burritos he goes to say no, charges me the guacamole he forgot to add. I ask again can you check if you have limes please. They say no. They were just too lazy to go to the back and get some limes for a frequent customer. All tacos shops in California give limes. No wonder why chipotle is falling off.

This place was extremely busy when I got home and ate half my burrito there was a HAIR in my burrito that was wrapped in lettuce. I go back to get a refund and of course they can't refund in store only online. They were extremely RUDE when I went back to tell them there hair was in my burrito and that I would like a refund as if it happens often. Avoid this place like the plague!

Late AND inedible food!! I had ordered online to pick up in an hour. I arrive to the store, and they said they had to cook the veggies. I was frustrated because I gave them ample time to prepare the food and they didn’t seem busy, but mistakes happen. It took them 15 min past my pick up time for them to finally give me my order. Once I get to my destination, I open my bowl and the veggies were completely raw. I was even more frustrated because what was the point of waiting past the pick up time?? But I figured they were still edible so I keep eating. Then I look at the lettuce and see dirt still on it. I keep poking around and most of the lettuce was SLIMY and BAD. I couldn’t eat the rest of it. So I wasted my time AND money. It’s one thing to be late on an order, I understand that. But to be late AND serve inedible food is not ok.

Once I get to my destination, I open my bowl and the veggies were completely raw. I was even more frustrated because what was the point of waiting past the pick up time?? But I figured they were still edible so I keep eating. Then I look at the lettuce and see dirt still on it. I keep poking around and most of the lettuce was SLIMY and BAD. I couldn’t eat the rest of it. So I wasted my time AND money. It’s one thing to be late on an order, I understand that. But to be late AND serve inedible food is not ok.

This place was extremely busy when I got home and ate half my burrito there was a HAIR in my burrito that was wrapped in lettuce. I go back to get a refund and of course they can't refund in store only online. They were extremely RUDE when I went back to tell them there hair was in my burrito and that I would like a refund as if it happens often. Avoid this place like the plague!

I’ve come to this chipotle a few times before and had an okay experience. today for some reason was rlly bad. I set a mobile order to be picked up to date at 1pm and i got there and went to the front and waited patiently for the person who was working the register to help me, when he did help me he looked visibly upset, he looked at the bag that was on the counter and he then very rudely slid it toward me without saying a word. he didn’t really have to, his attitude spoke volumes, i really hope that all of the workers here don’t have as bad of attitudes as he did. on top of that, and i swear im not exaggerating, my bowl had about 5 pieces of steak and the salsa container was less than half full. extremely disappointed. i especially for almost $30

Went for lunch today and probably one of the worst food I have eaten at chipotle. The staff was inattentive. Made the worst tacos I have ever eaten. The tortilla was slimy and broke apart. He gave small portion, didn't really care about his job and wrapped the tacos like burrito so they stuck to each other and tore apart. It was so soggy and slimy.

3 for 3 visits all bad. First one ruined my kids clothes. Bowls were not sealed leaked through the bag ruined my son’s brand new sweatshirt with grease stains then when he proceeded to get out of the car with the bag, the whole bottom of the bag fell out, and all the food ended up all over the sidewalk. Chipotle refused to reimburse us for the cost of the sweatshirt, but they comped our meal which only have 30 days to use didn’t use it in time so we lost the certificates. I called them. They were able to put them back on my account service is good….. next order was not ready on time Time around 20 minutes late and it was placed well before the store opened. The. my kids get their meals a different time. Awful kids meal barley and food in the slots about half full the cilantro in the rice is brow . And the chip bag; the chips are stale and the bag has a hole in it, so when I took it out of the bag, salt chip crumbs all over my counter all over my floor all over everything. My son ordered an My son ordered a meal. This bag had food and rice stuck to the bottom so again my seats in my car destroyed with food from chipotle from putting the food inside and dirty bag. Awful and cold every time. and to top it off My son had a piece of plastic in his burrito. guac had lettuce and huge pieces of purple onion in it. the only plus the honey chicken tasted good. Just no.

FOOD POISONING!! My boyfriend went there yesterday and got food poisoning. We think it’s the chicken. I always thought their chicken was bad too. Don’t go there unless you want food poisoning because I don’t think they make sure that their chicken isn’t expired or bad.
