I came down to Princeton to see the Christmas Tree and walk around. I saw this place and decided to try to pizza. I have to say I was so happy with this pizza. The dough was so delicious, the toppings were perfect. I’ve been making pizza my entire life basically and it’s always great to find a awesome pizza Resturant. Our waiter I wish I got his name so I could complement him in this review was so welcoming, he even went and asked the chef for me about the fermentation process of the dough. 10/10 I would stop by again.

We only had the Margarita pizza, but it was VERY good. The bar is small, but nice and is right in front of the guys making the pizzas - which they do with incredible efficiency. The ONLY thing is - the food/drinks are a little on the pricey side for what you get. The pizza is basically an individual size - but we split it. They are a wine bar, so they only have THREE beers on tap and it was $9 for one beer. Ricardo was our bartender and he was AWESOME. Great guy and a great bartender as well. Overall, I would say it's a very nice place and is a good option for a quick date night out.

Amazing arancini, creamy and tart. Tagliatelle had great texture with nice ragu sauce. Truffle pizza was seeet, savory, and rich, everything you’d expect, though maybe the smallest touch of acid would have made the dish stand out even more

We came here for a quick bite while wandering around princeton. The drinks were decent and the pizza was also very good. Service was lovely.

My family and I came to Princeton for lunch on a snowy day. The restaurant we were targeting didn’t work out and decided to go to Teresa’s Pizza and Wine Bar. We were glad we did. This was the perfect spot for a family lunch. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, creating an inviting atmosphere for a relaxed meal on a snowy day. We ordered the mushroom pizza and the pepperoni pizza, and both were absolutely outstanding. My daughter ordered the meatball and it was equally as good. The mushroom pizza had a rich, earthy flavor, with fresh mushrooms, perfectly melted cheese, and a delightful crust that struck the right balance between crispy and chewy. Add little more cheese and hot pepper flakes, you will have a very good bite. The pepperoni pizza was just as impressive—loaded with pepperoni that had a great smoky flavor, complemented by a slightly spicy tomato sauce. Overall, the experience was fantastic. Great food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere make this a must-visit for pizza lovers in Princeton. We will definitely be back for sure.

Came here for lunch with my parents and some family friends. The place is kind of small but the wait time was short around 1pm so we sat down and got our appetizers fairly fast. The pizzas took longer but they were delicious. I highly recommend the mushroom pizza it was my favorite out of all the ones we tried. The calamari was also really good and it’s gluten free! My least favorite was the spicy sausage because the broccoli really didn’t pair well with it in my opinion. The desserts were yummy as well but keep in mind the portions are very small especially the cheesecake. Overall a good experience!

Everything we ordered was delicious! The meatballs, salami board, clam pasta, seafood pasta, and cheese pizza and mushroom pizzas, all tasted very fresh and full of flavor. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. He recommended the pastas and they are freshly made in house. They also make their own sauce. Nice seatings inside and outdoors. Creative art decorations, nicely designed seating arrangements. Outdoor seating is beautiful too with plants and shrubs. We will be back again. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area and craving some good Italian food.

Fine dining pizza, great friendly waiters and very pleasant decorations giving the restaurant a friendly and social vibe. The pizza and pasta was outstanding! For vegetarians, not really a good place as most of the options have meat. For vegans, definitely not.

Allergies? This place is so attentive! They have so many gluten free options and the chefs are so knowledgeable. They really go the extra mile. I came twice in one day because I was so in love. Wine list is top tier, food is tasty. I had the gluten free pizza (with sausage and broccoli rabe, no cheese), it was crispy and delicious. Later that day I had the shrimp/scallop pasta and it was so delicious. Espresso is great as well. I finished the day with a flourless chocolate torte which was divine. They are so attentive and I am so excited it was outside my hotel.

Great food, friendly staff, and overall a nice experience. We ordered two pizzas and a pasta, as well as some bread to share. The food arrived quickly, and our server was nice and polite. The prices aren’t too expensive, and I would definitely come again.

I've been going here on and off for ~15 years and the food is as amazing as ever! The bruschetta, pizza and penne arrabiata are delicious! The menu changes a few times a year so it never gets old. Our waitress Gracie was really nice and quick the last time we went. Had a great time!

Excellent place with almost authentic Italian food. Princeton atmosphere adds up to the charm. Their pizzas are always excellent choice. Thin crust, just the right size and you can customize those a little if you want. This spot is located on a very quiet street with almost no traffic and a nice outdoor seating area.

Came back after a long time - ordered pesto pizza and gnocchi - pizza was incredible (some of the best ever) and gnocchi was very good - both great vegetarian options. For desserts, we ordered Tiramisu and chocolate torte - both were fantastic! Will be back again

came here for a birthday dinner and it was great! our food came out incredibly fast and the staff was super friendly. the only thing i would mention is that i had put myself on the wait list an hour before i got there however when i arrived, our wait was still 45-50 minutes. thankfully a table cleared and we were able to be seated but i was a little confused at the point of a waitlist if it didn’t lower my wait time when i arrive to the restaurant. other than that, we had a lovely time :)

Very nice little place hidden away between two buildings. There's an outdoor seating area and a bar, the service is very professional. It's a low-key setting and very cozy!

Fantastic all around. Food was great! You could definitely tell from the atmosphere that it's a popular place to eat! I would definitely go again and would recommend.

Very cute, authentic spot. Our waiter was attentive and let me mix and match sauces on the menu without any issue. Highly recommend starting with a pizza as an app and getting the pasta as your main. Super fresh and light.

Lovely establishment. Absolutely delicious pizza. We enjoyed the Perfetta and Quattro Formaggio - both just melted in our mouths. Our waitress Theresa was incredibly friendly and kind. Definitely a place worth revisiting.

Amidst winter’s frosty whisper, we found solace in this enchanting Italian haven, its warmth and aromas a defiant balm against the chill. Our pepperoni pizza shone as a dough masterpiece, with a crust of perfect crisp-tender balance. The light sauce provided ideal flavor contrast to the rich, molten cheese, crafting a lingering symphony of taste. Our waiter, a kind figure in face mask and low-rise pants, brought modern charm; his eager service whisked my daughter’s plate away prematurely amid her final crust bites—a lighthearted mishap that sparked amusement and highlighted the venue’s vibrant energy. Ultimately, this spot weaves comfort into the cold, earning a glowing five-star nod for its Italian mastery.

We were visiting Princeton university. Looking for a quick bite n found this place for pizza. The place looked great. There is an outdoor seating area too. It was busy n full of people. We were seated immediately. We wanted to have something real quick cz we were falling behind our schedule. Ordered wild mushroom pizza. It was so delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The sauce they served with the pizza was flavorful. Though the service we got was disappointing but the food experience was great.

One of my favorite places to eat. Their artisan pizza is the best in the city. Our favorites are the Mushroom as well as the sausage. We have also tried some of their pastas and they have all been great. The staff is friendly and kind. Other than the bar seating, unfortunately the table service is a bit slow. Paid street parking as well as garage parking available.

Food was very good and the coffee was excellent. The penne pecorino was solid (8/10), calamari was very good (9/10), and the tiramisu was outstanding (10/10). Street parking is paid, and the décor is just okay. I went for lunch—might have a better vibe at dinner.

came back on the weekend again and food is pretty solid still. pretty consistent. —- So I came back on 9/8/24 and food was amazing. dough was great. i guess it’s a bit inconsistent sometimes. but my most recent experience was great!!! outdoor seating was nice. host could be a bit more welcoming and cheerful —- Decent food. Good pizza. Dough is average, but flavor is good. Bread is not warm and very chewy, which is a big disappointment. Service is good. Balsamic vinegar is horrible. Very watery.

We were a party of eight. They do not take reservations, but we did call ahead of time to be added to their wait list. We went for lunch and there was a table waiting for us. Wasn't super busy. The food and drinks were good. We got the fried stuffed zucchini blossoms, fried calamari, and the burrata with peach & hazelnuts for our starters. We ordered two of each. For our main meals we had eggplant rollatini, chicken parmigiana, balsamico (pasta dish), penne pecorino, perfetta (pizza), and margherita (pizza).

Been here a few times now and it’s been consistently good. Mushroom pizza was excellent and the Hugo spritz is well made. The calzone/pizza happy hour special was filling, but the calzone was not very filled so it was mainly just bread

Pizza ordered was late because it got burnt and when it finally arrived, it didn't taste as expected and was still kind of burnt. Customer service however was exceptional and they got me a new pizza. The pasta on the other hand was pretty delicious

Place was nice and had a table for 7 in the afternoon without ordering ahead. All the pizzas were good and the pasta was especially tasty and felt fresh. One of the orders came out relatively late, hence the 4 stars and not 5. Beer selection was decent for such a place.

Nice little spot for brunch or lunch with your loved ones. Loved that they had an option for outdoor seating. Our food and drinks were good. Definitely will be back

I stumbled across this restaurant after visiting the local record shop with my son. We had the calamari appetizer, a pizza and I had a pasta special. Everything was great. We visited again with two more guests. We left very pleased. This will definitely be returning on our next visit to Princeton.

There was a long wait so we put our name in and went to another bar for drink. Didn’t mind that but when they texted us that our table was ready they weren’t prepared when we showed back up to the restaurant. We waited outside and after 10-15 minutes decided to check again and realized they had forgot about us. Sat down and put in our food and drinks pretty quickly. Great espresso martini. However our server forgot to bring our bread and did not apologize for the oversight. Also we mentioned we were splitting food and share plates weren’t brought until about 5-8 minutes until after our food was brought over. Also sat with empty water glasses for quite some time. They did not have a vegetarian pasta option on the menu and asked the server what dish would be best without meat. What we got may have been one of the worst pastas I’ve ever had (the balsamic). I’m all fairness, my cousin loves this dish with the chicken. I think the main miss is they don’t have a vegetarian pasta option on the menu. Also on the specials they labeled the salmon as vegetarian. Pizza was quite good. All in all a very mediocre dining experience

Went there yesterday, food continues to be amazing and very flavorful. Grouper was perfectly cooked with a very tasty tomato sauce But service was disappointing, we felt so rushed They got cold bread and oil then got the appetizer and Main course together . Looks like our server was expecting us to gulp the bottle of wine which we had ordered along with the food quickly and get out because once the order was on the table the guy came to check if we were kinda done thrice .. not sure if that’s the new way at Theresa’s or we were unlucky to get Mr Rush. For food I will still give them 5 stars but service is 2.5. So I am dropping overall score from 5 to 3 My older review: We were there last week… loved the food and an ambiance .. their minestrone soup, Mashroom Bruschetta, margarita pizzas and pork pasta was amazing .. and pretty OK wine list for a restaurant of their size and they have a very interesting ambiance with lot of pictures and if you are interested you could play “Caption this” Very nice and cozy place we really good and fresh food . A must visit if you are at Palmer square

Ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. The croutons were some of the hardest, inedible croutons I've ever had in my life.

Stopped by after finding this place online. This place isn't an upscale wine bar, but more of a wine cafe that offers pizza and pasta. Overall the service was great, the pizza was average, we got the sausage which didn't have much taste other than the broccoli rabe on it. The calamari we ordered was okay, but the pasta delivered. Decent wine and drink selection too. Skip the pizza, skip the apps, go straight for pasta.

Went canoeing with my buddies for a few hours and then hit town for some grub. The place we wanted to check out was closed so Teresa’s was our backup. The best thing about here was the wine. We shared a bottle of a Piedmont varietal and it was lovely on a sunny afternoon outside of the restaurant. From there it was a downhill excursion. It was our server’s second day on the job and she didn’t know how to open the bottle so we had to show her how to use a wine opener. We ordered an app of calamari to share and it was gummy, but even worse is that one of my friend’s entrees was served even before the app arrived, off timed. The pizza here is overhyped, it wasn’t the worst but I’ve easily had better. Nothing stood out, not the dough, the sauce or the mutz. If I can’t taste sourdough action or a few charred spots I’m not impressed with a basic crust. I need that zing and this small pie didn’t have it. Plus they don’t have Tabasco here (or any hot sauce whatsoever) so I was extra extra irritated. I can’t enjoy a meal without it. What made it all better? Huge scoops of ice cream on a sugar cone around the corner at Bent Spoon.

Teresa’s really fell off. The food used to bring comfort and warmth to your tastebuds; mixed in with their cozy ambiance… this place was the perfect place for a cute date with friends or a loved one. Ambience and friendly staff are still present, but the food is truly lacking. It feels reheated at best and none of the flavors blend together, they just coexist. I got the penne pecorino today and it was so bland and wet. The scallops and the shrimp tasted like they were just thawed and thrown in last minute without a chance to soak in any of the wine sauce (which was also bland and watered down from their wet tomatoes which weren’t sautéed long enough ). The roasted garlic is an insult to my mouth. We also got the tagliatelle … which might as well be Chef Boyardee, but in this case I would have much rather eaten Chef Boyardee. Everything tasted really bland, wet, lukewarm, and just overall sad. I will not be returning to Teresa’s anymore, it was a good run~

Service was friendly and quick. Atmosphere was warmly lit, cosy and fun. Food looked great, but was just ok. We had the salmon, meat pizza and margarita pizza. The description of the salmon said “seared” salmon. However, it was deep fried with a hard crust and too greasy. They should change the menu description so you know to steer clear if you don’t want fried food. Pizza was a bit bready for my taste. My kids said it was good. We also had the tiramisu and cannoli. Tiramisu had too much cream, not enough coffee flavor. Cannoli was better and full of real chocolate chips not the tiny ones.

Update: used to be one of our favorite places. Now the service is terrible and not worth it. Good food with declining service - the first few times we came here we had phenomenal service, but in the past few visits very subpar service. Guess it depends on who's working. I've been coming here for years; from my recollections, I believe the lunch menu prices have risen in the past few years. Anyways, a few gems include the penne all'arrabbiata and mezze rigatoni balsamico, which is the favorite of many a family member. A recent visit left me a bit dumbfounded, as the waitress didn't seem to take into account a dietary restriction of a family member; I encourage the managers of Teresa Caffe to train new employees in dealing amicably with customers with dietary restrictions, as that will likely improve first-timers' impressions of the place and staff. The waitress was nice and probably meant well, but was also not attentive - I had to ask for bread and olive oil three times before she brought it for the first time - and with no olive oil. The second time we requested bread, it took an additional 15 minutes. We used to really like coming to Teresa Caffe for lunch, but it gets less and less enjoyable each time we receive terrible service.

We were extremely disappointed with some off the food. The calamari texture was chewy it tastes like dehydrated rubber, the bread tasted like it sat out for a bit. The pizza was “ok”, not worth the cost, it’s a personal size pizza for almost $20 each, we ordered 4 pizzas for 5 people.

Food was delicious. Came with a small group and we all got a bunch of things and shared all of them. Meatballs, calamari, margherita pizza, etc. all super yummy. It was very crowded and tables are kind of on top of each other but it’s a small restaurant so i get it and i can’t fault them for that, especially considering the waitlist was so long since they don’t take reservations. My only real issue was the experience itself. It took over an hour to get sat so we honestly just wanted to eat and go about our night. Our server greeted us nicely at first but once he realized we were opting to get a bunch of stuff (previously mentioned items) and share it all he completely switched his mood. I guess maybe he wasn’t thrilled that our check wouldn’t be as high as it could’ve been if we opted for bigger entrees? Not sure but he completely flipped on us after we put in our order and rolled his eyes when he walked away after taking our order. He came back and slammed share plates on the table instead of placing them, like literally slammed them and said nothing to us. Every time he came to check on us while we were eating it was just very awkward and not friendly at all. He would pop in and say “still eating?” We weren’t even there that long, from when we sat to when we left it had been about an hour so it wasn’t like we were holding up the table. It was my friends birthday so we had planned on getting a desert but ended up just paying and leaving togo somewhere else because he was so weird to us (we still tipped 20%). Probably won’t be back because of how uninviting he was so i hope he learns how to be nicer to people or he’s just going to keep driving away business. It’s a shame, that calamari was good.

I loved eating here with my mom when I was a kid. Just the memories alone had me drive down an hour and a half from north jersey. It was my first time returning to Princeton after coming back to the states, so I didn't even bother reading the google reviews. I'm putting this lightly when I say that I was thoroughly disappointed. Not only did our reservation get pushed back an hour because the manager "wrote down the wrong number," but the hosts working in the front were disorganized and untrained: trying to seat the two of us at a six person table, sending me a "reservation ready" notification only to ask why we came, etc. Granted, they're young and learning on the job is just a part of any experience but to be charging customers +$100 for a two person meal with that level of service is inexcusable. The waitress was also kind but extremely inattentive. As for the food, we ordered two peach based cocktails, calamari, vongole pasta, and a pancetta pizza. The only thing we enjoyed were the cocktails. The calamari was clearly a frozen product with a generic marinara sauce (one of the calamari was left inside of the sauce upon service) , the vongole pasta was so salty that we could only mange the clams, and the pizza was a plate of unequally distributed heaps of oily meat. I have never done this before, but we actually left during our meal and went to the Bent Spoon for ice cream before going out to a different Italian restaurant for dinner (I don't want to write where for the sake of integrity but just do a google search if you're wondering). If you're thinking about dining here, please read through the reviews before making a reservation. Until the managerial staff take the quality of the service seriously, this restaurant will not be the meaningful dining experience you are hoping for in Princeton.

I'm writing to share a very disappointment experience. I had called and reserved a table as per their policy I called 1 hour prior to arriving because they said they don't allow reservation ahead of time specifically mentioned and it was for my daughter's birthday. I also confirmed in advance that cake cutting would be allowed with additional fee. I and my husband arrived on time and were seated. My daughter arrived shortly after we arrived while we were sitting the manager approached us with a very rude manner repeatedly asking when my daughter would arrive, and he stated since we seated "early" we would have to leave early. This was very confusing to us because we arrived at our reservation time not early and I clearly said my daughter is a student she is walking towards the restaurant will be there shortly and she arrived shortly after we got the table, but the manager's behavior and attitude was very rude. Even the cake cutting experience was handled poorly. This was supposed to be special dinner for our family but the behavior from the manger completely ruined the experience. I believe customer should be treated with respect. What was especially upsetting is that we were told to leave early before we started dining because we arrived early but in real, we arrived on time. Yet multiple other tables had already finished eating and continued sitting for a long time, and other guests were also waiting for additional people to join. This made us feel unfairly singled out.

Terrible service. Went in at 3 on a Sunday. Not busy. Seated in a nearly empty section. No one came to our table. Hostess saw that we were not being served and did nothing. Finally went up to the bar. After the bartender brought drinks, which my wine was wrong but I still had to pay for it. Waitress finally showed up. Appetizer and salads brought all together followed with bread last. After we were done eating she came back up and asked if we wanted “freshly” ground pepper or cheese. I asked for no olives on my salad and she repeated back to me no olives. My food came out with olives and I had to pick them out one by one. When waiters saw she said “those pesky olives I hate them” not I’m sorry or my mistake. When we got the bill they charged us for bread after not saying it cost anything but yelling across the restaurant do you girls want bread. We also ordered meatballs for 15 dollars and they came with three and a burnt piece of bread. While all this was happening the manager was standing with wait staff talking and drinking two coffees. Over all management and survive was terrible and food was very overpriced. Not worth 70 dollars and will not be going back.

First and last time i come this to place. I was there last Saturday, and the place, while gorgeous, lacked the service that one comes to expect in todays world. After being forgotten about several times you could tell the staff did not know what to do, and when they figured it out, they didn't do it well. The host (who i later found out was the manager) was way out of his element. The whole thing felt like the crew misfits being led by an even bigger misfit which is unfortunate. The food was OK at best. There were definitely some highlight dishes like the balsamic pasta but the atmosphere/service of it all takes away from the experience.
