Delicious pasta dishes, spacious enough and friendly staff. Calamari was a tad chewy, possibly a min or so over cooked but rest of the plates were well prepared. Sauce was creamy without separating or feeling to heavy.
We love Romas in Prosper! We eat here at least once a month, and it’s always amazing. The food is fresh and flavorful, and the pasta and pizza are always on point. The staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home. Definitely one of our favorite local spots!
Okay, so we rolled into Roma's Pizza & Italian Restaurant on La Cima in Prosper, and everything clicked like a well-told story. Stuffed mushrooms to start-cheesy, garlicky little bombs that vanished before we could blink. My girlfriend's eggplant parmesan was crispy-edged perfection, sauce with real depth, the kind that makes you close your eyes for a second. I got the chicken piccata: bright lemon, briny capers, butter that somehow stayed silky instead of greasy. We fought over the last piece of bread like it owed us money. Our server, Madeline, was the MVP. Swift without rushing, funny without forcing it, kept the water full and the vibe easy; like she knew exactly when we needed another minute or another glass of wine. No hovering, just perfect radar. Warm lighting, relaxed crowd, zero pretension. We left stuffed, happy, and already texting each other about going back. If you're in Dallas and want Italian that feels personal instead of corporate, hit Roma's. Five stars, easy. Tell Madeline the chicken piccata guy said she killed it- she'll probably just smile and say "thanks," but it'll make my night feel briefly legendary.
The perfect setting and local Italian restaurant. The owners and servers and bartenders are the absolute best. The food is fresh and the portions are large. Try the Branzino served with risotto! And also try the stromboli. Add the Espresso martini and chocolate trilogoy for dessert. Thank you Mona & Freddy for the best service ever!!
Food is best Italian in Texas. Service is off the charts. We called on our way in for a group of six. Showed up 10 minutes later and table was ready with waters all set. Great great place!!! I recommend A Romas Spice chicken and shrimp pasta.
Great service, delicious food. We ordered sampler trio and Bruschetta for appetizers. The Bruschetta was superb. The garlic bread they serve complimentary is very soft and fresh. Our main entrees were Chicken Murphy and Roma Chicken and Shrimp pasta....both were very flavorful. Will definitely visit again.
We love Roma's Italian Restaurant! We've done carry out and dine-in, and both experiences are fabulous. My husband and I also hosted a large group of around 20 people after we got married, and it was the perfect spot! It was quiet enough where we could actually talk to each other which was exactly what we were looking for. We were also able to have a large reservation without having to rent out a room, which isn't common in this area! The service is always amazing and so is the food. Highly recommend Roma's for a quick bite, or for a special dinner!
I had a nice visit to Roma Italian Restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food came out fresh and tasted great — classic flavors done well. It’s a comfortable spot for a relaxed meal, whether you’re dining in or picking up.
Best Italian restaurant in DFW area. Their portions are huge and scrumptious. You cannot miss their desserts. The service was exceptional. They took care of our special requests for our toddler be it choosing the best option from kids menu or getting some more fresh and hot breads. Highly recommended place if you are craving for some soulful Italian cuisine
Wonderful establishment! Went to Roma's Italian Restaurant for the first time with my mom. The service immediately was wonderful. Got seated by Ruth, she helped my mom and I with questions about the menu and gave us some great recommendations. Ruth was amazing! The food overall was very delicious and tasty. Will be coming back with my family and friends. Definitely got to try the bruschetta and Florentino pizz
I occasionally dash and have found myself picking up orders from this restaurant. They always seem busy, which I attribute as a good thing. I made some time today to try it out myself and I’m glad I did. I started with the garlic bread with “pink sauce” which was creamy and delightful. Then, I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and while I initially thought the portion was smaller than expected, I couldn’t be wronger! The dish was long and it was actually a generous portion size. Mona also made sure to occasionally check up on me to ensure everything was to my liking. I can’t wait to go back to try another dish from their menu, maybe even one of their pizzas!
This is a great little small business yall need to support. We ate here once, did to go another and here the third time. The food is on point and authentic. The portions are great as well. The choices of dishes are very traditional as well as some fusion. My kids eat the kids Spaghetti and Marrinara with meat balls and get 2 additional orders of their awesome meatballs on the side. Sure the meatball sub is to die for. They also have a full bar with several top shelf and limited editions on wine, bourbon, scotch and tequila. Skip the franchise and make a stop here. You won't be disappointed. P.S. the Calamari is actual meat less breading. Tip: Chicken Murphy is a sure try, it's not spicy but it's very flavorful and saucy as you can see in the pics.
Deliciousness’s! Amazing pizza! I went to the Little Elm one and was disappointed but I gave this one a shot! I was not disappointed! I would highly recommend their pizza in general as well as the sampler appetizer (we ate it all before I got photos, it was good!) we definitely broke $100 for a family of six people with appetizers.
Seeing from the outside it doesn’t seem like much, but inside it blows your mind. A very family friendly restaurant that has a kid friendly menu. Restaurant looks very cozy to sit down and have a meal with your family. The vibes are absolutely amazing and when they have a welcoming, smiling and friendly staff, it completes the entire experience. We ordered a basket of rolls (usually it’s 5 rolls but they gave us an extra). The rolls were super hot, but were warmish. Added with the butter they tasted really good. We ordered a cup of minestrone, a cheese pizza and a baked Ziti. Let me first get started on the soup which came the last among all the orders. It tasted amazing! I want to get a cup of this soup, sit warm by the fireside on a cold January afternoon and just relish this soup. I’m going to keep coming back to this restaurant for this soup. Do not miss out on the soup! The cheese pizza was good had a thin crust, enough cheese and sauce was good. The baked ziti was amazing as well. It was well seasoned and didn’t feel saltless (like another branded ‘Italian’ restaurant has). I only knocked off a star because the portion size was a little too small especially for the baked ziti, but other than that the entire experience was amazing. We took Tiramasu to go, and that was off the charts amazing as well. I hope they always have such amazing food that adults and kids can enjoy. I also want to commend on how the restaurant had plenty of vegetarian options for those who don’t eat meat. Will be coming back over and over.
Placed an order for delivery at 3:37 pm. Ordered a 10" Alfredo pepperoni pizza, a 16" New York style pepperoni pizza, bread rolls with pink sauce, and mozzarella sticks. Total for the order was $54.70. Romas uses a third-party for delivery, which is never good. Our receipt states the driver picked up the order at 4:04 pm; however, we received the order at 4:45 pm, and we live just 4.5 mi from the restaurant. Everything in the order was cold, which is very disappointing for $55 worth of food. The food was good, but we're basically eating re-heated pizza at this point. Restaurants really need to stop using Door Dash and Uber Eats for delivery service as those drivers don't care about your reputation.
Manicotti was great Also ordered the veal piccata, not good, veal was grilled not sautéed. Very tough although was a thin cut. Had clams before which were excellent. Good rolls
Called order in. Very friendly on the phone love that. Ordered minestrone and branzino. the branzino was notttttt good. I understand I ordered at 850pm for 910 pm pick up but omg the branzino tasted absolutely terrible. I want a refund :(( not for $25. The minestrone was pretty good but a bit salty.giving 2 stars bc the service was good and food was hot.
My husband and I decided to try this Italian restaurant tonight because I was craving fettuccine Alfredo and the reviews looked great. It was really busy when we arrived, which made us think it would be a good experience. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and my husband got a Caesar salad with salmon. We also ordered two sweet teas, which were $3 each. Our total came out to about $44 and some change. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. The waiter who helped us was very short with us and didn’t seem to have time to socialize, though we noticed he was chatting quite a bit with one specific table nearby. That definitely made us feel overlooked. After eating, both my husband and I experienced stomach issues — we both ended up with diarrhea not long after leaving. Because of that, we’re concerned there may be some cross-contamination or food safety issues happening in the kitchen. We just wanted to share our experience to give others a heads-up before dining here. Hopefully, management takes note and makes improvements, because it seems like this place could be great if more care were taken with customer service and food handling.
