Me encanta este lugar, tiene un muy buen concepto de bar, karaoke y shows. Los tragos están ricos y a buen precio, todos son muy buena onda y lo mejor es que tiene aire acondicionado

Ye hacen sentir en familia!! Aparte de que la pasas super con los show , la atención de los meseros es increíble a pesar de que este lleno son amables, divertidos y te ayudan o asesoran en lo que necesites.

Makai is a delicious little joint tucked away near Playa de la Lancha and it was exactly what we needed after a full morning of surfing. Sun-kissed, salty, and starving; this food fed both my soul and my belly. Everything we ordered was beautifully crafted. We started with the guacamole, and wow absolutely gorgeous and just as delicious. Fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Then came the hummus with roasted veggies, and honestly… a dish meant to be recreated. Hearty, comforting, full of flavor, and deeply satisfying. The girls went with the shrimp tacos and fish tacos, and both were a hit; fresh, flavorful, and done right. Simple, elevated, and exactly what you want after a beach morning. The environment deserves its own shoutout. Such a cool, laid-back vibe with open conduit piping at the bar, an open-ish kitchen where you can watch the staff work their magic and that effortless Mexican indoor-outdoor feel that makes you want to linger just a little longer. If you’re anywhere near Playa de la Lancha, Makai is a must. Come hungry, come relaxed, and trust the menu. We’ll absolutely be back. 🌮🌿✨

Delicious restaurant! After a surf session at La Lancha, fuel is a must, and I'll say Makai has done it right! I ordered a agua de melon and aguachile ceviche and I was refreshed and stuffed, which is hard to do after fighting the ocean for three hours. Prices are comparable to what I would expect in the US, but the flavor and portions make up for it.

I checked a few other reviews and I will happily add to the icing. This place is worth every penny. I visited here last week on Dec 15th, 17th and 20th. I participated in three separate surf lessons and ate at this restaurant each time. I ended up eating the same meal each time it was so good and healthy. The staff here work hard to make it possible. Very well organized and trained overall. Top quality food for a very reasonable price. I can't recommend this place enough. I was staying in Sayulita and can tell you the food here is better than any restaurant in Sayulita. I'll be back.

Just WOW! Hands down the best seafood we had so far in Punta Mita! We had Ponzu tostadas, pesca del día and Burguer! It was Amazing, our food was ready so fast. So many times we drive to punta mita, from now on this our stop to go! Highly recommended

I stayed near Bucerías for about a month and came here at least 5 times. It's SO good. The drinks are perfectly balanced (try the marazcal), and the food is creative and well executed. The tostadas, especially the ponzu tuna, were magical. The black salsa they give you with complimentary chips was wow! Great ambiance and overall vibes.

Makai's is a must if you are in Punta de Mita. Fish is always fresh and flavorful and their cocktails are stellar. We come to Makai's every weekend and have never had a bad meal. The quality is always superior to any other seafood we've found in the area and their flavor profiles are so mouthwatering yummy! Staff is always very kind and quick with service!

Some of the best and freshest food around! Whenever we surfed in the area we would end here for a smoothie (the verde is great!), breakfast or lunch. We really enjoyed the avocado toast, vegetarian burrito, and pancakes. They also have nice coffee. The owner, Sebastian, is lovely! Highly recommended. Better than many popular spots in Sayulita.

Era temprano y buscamos un lugar para bailar con música en vivo. ¡Gracias a Dios encontramos a La Catrina! Nos divertimos bailando salsa, merengue, bachata y cumbia. La banda fue interactiva y divertida. La gente era amigable. ¡Volveríamos seguro!

Makai is a little spot across from a beach path along the highway next to an Oxxo, and it's definitely better than you'd ever expect for all those descriptors. I may have come in with too high an expectation, though, as it was recommended glowingly by a grizzled storytelling American we met at a place in Bucerias, and it didn't quite hit those expectations. The food was interesting, but didn't quite hit - the stingray croquettes mainly tasted of tuna, the gazpacho was beet-based and didn't include any traditional gazpacho ingredients besides avocado - so, basically, borscht. The fish tacos were solid, the crabcake burger unmemorable. The service was fairly slow and didn't seem that into serving gringos, which is fine, I get that. Overall, far better than a roadside spot usually is, not as good as I hoped. Worth trying!

Very casual dining. Seems like a spot surfers and locals go to for a quick bite. Tried several raw fish items and they were all delicious. Service very friendly. Sign says cash only, but I was able to pay by card. Would recommend for a quick bite. We were in and out in 40 minutes.

Me parece que es un buen lugar para ir a beber algún trago y escuchar cantar a algunas personas que sin duda es más un karaoke dirigido al público Americano pero con mucho estilo mexicano, las bebidas son buenas aunque muy costosas a comparación con algunos bares cercanos, el mesero te pide propina así como el bar tender y me parece es un negocio familiar el dueño o la pareja de él trata muy mal a sus mascotas (Gigi y dos mascotas más) y lo menciono porque suelen están en el bar y vi como les gritaba lo cual no es adecuado ni para el lugar ni para ellos, la comida es buena pero podrían mejorarla sin duda…

El lugar esta bien...el problema es q si te estas en el area de fumadores...como 15 min en atenderte y una vez q te traen la bebida tardan aún más para seguir atendiendote...

El mesero fue extremadamente lento en su servicio, esperé 20 minutos solo para un cóctel, "los nachos" no fueron muy buenos, me hicieron daño. Edit: fui de nuevo y los meseros nos cargaron por segunda ocasión el costo total de los tragos AUN cuando estuvimos en tiempo y forma pidiendo los 2*1 que publican en sus redes sociales, AGUAS, revisen su cuenta y exijan que respeten la promoción o les cobrarán lo que quieren . El concepto y entretenimiento es bueno, pero EL SERVICIO Y ALIMENTOS DEBEN MEJORAR
