Brooke was very pleasant and attentive. Speedy service. But our sliders were not good. Very fatty and bland. Plenty of other delicious food on the menu, which we will try for sure!

The food here was amazing and the overall experience was really good. Definitely worth trying! The only downside was the behavior of the server, Tara. I noticed she was talking to other employees and about them behind their back in a really unkind and disrespectful way, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I still enjoyed the meal, but I hope management takes a look at how staff are being treated, because it really affects the vibe of the restaurant.

Cute place with patio seating. Steak was cooked to perfection and one of the best micheladas I've ever had. The bartender even came over and gave me the extra beer left over in the bottle and the extra tomato juice. Thought that was super cool. My son rated his burger a 4 out of 5. He said it could have used a sauce 🤷🏽‍♀️. The clam chowder was a little too thick for loving but had a good flavor. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant appeared to be spotless. I can see why it's been around for decades. Dinner was $90 and pics reflect what was purchased.

Headed back home from the snow we decided to lunch at DiCarlos. Great idea! We had no problem getting in and our server was johnny on the spot. Mom got the Prime Rib Sliders, two nice slices of meat on each bun served with au jus and horse radish sauce. My niece had an impossible burger with pepper jack cheese and honey jalapeno sauce. It was huge and served with the usual accouterments and a bunch of fries. I had the soup du jour, which was a Cajun Sausage and Lentil soup. Delicious! And loaded potato skins, always yummy. It's definitely a good lunch stop.

The Prime Rib Sliders were very tasty and is a good option at the bar. They also had a nice selection of draft beer, wine, and cocktails. The dining room is a better option on a date or with the family.

I will start with the service being a little slow, this I can understand as they were fairly crowded and they have a help wanted sign up for every position a restaurant has except manager. I tried their French Onion soup and it was very good, close to being the best I ever had which was a pleasant surprise for Ramona. They have a decent menu selection with prices on the higher side but in line with California in general ($12 foot longs at Subways) and comparable to the better places I have visited. I also ordered a Bloody Mary and that was surprisingly good as well. In an attempt to eat as healthy as possible, I ordered a Chefs Salad for the second time this week. The salad was as good as it was the last time and that was very good as well. Of all the places I have eaten at in Ramona, this place is up in front along with Pinto Tai, but that is apples and oranges.

Found this great little place while on a road trip. Cassandra was a great server, attentive and friendly. Interior was a little tight on seating but the food was great. The family enjoyed the steaks, prime ribs and fish & chips. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Ramona.

My mom always told me, “Never trust a restaurant with an extensive menu, it’s better when they specialize in their dishes”. Well, she is proved wrong at D’Carlos. Recently moved to Ramona and trying all the local spots. This is at top of my list. Comfort food. Done perfectly. We tried a few different dishes and all were on point. Great local wine offerings. Staff were all very attentive and helpful. I hear I must return for breakfast. I found the prices to be very affordable, as most are here in Ramona. Desserts are so delicious, try the eclair!

Chicken Parmesan, it was grilled chicken. The red sauce tasted like oregano. Not recommended. Fish and chips, not very good. The service was good. That’s why I gave it 3 stars.

I was so looking forward to having a great meal and I was so disappointed, besides being overpriced. I had fish and chips.

Service was really good for how busy it was. Servers and wait staff were attentive to needs. The knock is the food and the price point. Food was ok at best but for what some of the costs were, it was not worth it. The prime rib lacked seasoning on its crust, and no au jus was provided to help kick up that bland prime rib taste. The portion was huge but absolutely no flavor. The wedge salad with balsamic on top along with blue cheese didn't do it for us either. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was not good, and the vegetables were plain. It comes off like it wants to be high end but it misses the mark for us on even being a mid-week, let's go out option.

A bit disappointing—I was expecting much better flavors and a more upscale ambiance. Given how long this establishment has been around, it seems to have lost its touch over the years. Food was overcooked/seasoned. Unfortunately, it falls quite short of my taste expectations. Overall, a decent 2-star spot.

I got so sick from this place. I had the grilled chicken plate with rice and veggie. And I haven't left the restroom in two days, I cant hold anything down. I think the chicken was really bad. There was something off about the plate mid way eating - and I had to stop eating it even though I was still hungry but when I got home I could no longer stomach anything ): Had to miss a day of work and now sitting at my desk puking lol. Dont recommend this place to anyone. Really sad about it.

Combo plate ! Honestly food was very salty and mc nd cheese super dry , chicken was salty too . Bbq sauce tasted weird . Service was quick though I say save your money honestly. Overpriced for salty food literally.
