Great little family run authentic Mexican food. We stopped in for lunch and were greeted at the counter by a wonderful young lady who took our order. The food was delivered promptly and served hot and fresh. My wife had the chicken enchilada plate and I had the Chile relleno and chicken enchilada plate. Both were fantastic and so tasty. You can tell the fresh ingredients and quality are present. A terrific spot and the Bravo family certainly know how to treat customers like family and show the love by their cooking and food service. Highly recommended

Delicious menu items! La Cocina is located in the heart of Ramona on Main Street. There is a good amount of seating inside. The menu items are varied and priced reasonably. The portion sizes are good. There are many items perfectly sized for sharing if you prefer. The burritos we had were filled with flavor and very filling. The salsa, both green and red were AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Excellent carnitas as well as the machaca tortas. Green salsa was stong on the parsley, and the red had just a hint of fire to it. Jamaica hit the spot along with the Horchata. Fresh dilled carrots and jalapeños. Great service, initial hiccup of miswritten burrito for Tortas but that was cleared up quickly. Definitely worth the stop for a quick bite while enjoying the local shops.

The food is great (got the shrimp burrito), the staff is solid on their service, and the location was popping. You will not regret and do not have to worry about taking home leftovers

Food was good. Pollo asado burrito was $18 and change. Kinda pricey, even factoring in inflation. The staff were very nice though.

Consistently good Mexican food. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Ramona. They have terrific Carnitas, Machaca, and Ranchero (chicken or beef fajitas) burritos.

Small town of Ramona, this was a quick and easy bite. Not to many tables so on an odd day, you may have to style for a picnic. Here’s a pic of my Bravo burrito. Tasty and filling. Little heavy on the salt for me but overall good.

The beans and the rice were good, but the carnitas sadly they were too dry and hard. Due to frying the carnitas they didn’t have that soft texture.

Don't order to dine in you won't get your food until almost 1hr later. Order to go it's done within 15mins. Food seems like leftovers. Edible when you're digging in the fridge in the middle of the night having the late night munchies.
