I had such a lovely weekend here yesterday. A white gentleman provided us with attentive and friendly service throughout the evening, and when we finished our dinner, he surprised us with two complimentary desserts. It was such a sweet and heartwarming gesture that made me truly happy.

Actually, even if the food is perfect but the service was bad, I probably wouldn't come back. But These guys hit my top three every time. We had a really great time with delicious, filling, tasty food. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere like a northern cabin or lodge. We also had great service from our server, “Kat”. Highly recommend. We had 3 adults and 3 kids from 6-11. Good selection on the kids menu. We shared amazing catfish fillets for appetizer and the adults shared something called an “American Feast” which had a helping for 4-6 people. It had a whole smoked chicken, a whole rack of ribs, Georgia chopped pork, wilbur beans ,famous fries, several cobs of corn, glistening corn bread, and a large bowl of coleslaw. Raspberry lemonade in large Ball jars to wash it all down. We will be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dave's Famous BBQ and I was blown away! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the ribs and they were cooked to perfection - fall-off-the-bone tender and bursting with flavor. The sides were equally impressive, especially the mac and cheese and coleslaw. But what really made my experience stand out was the exceptional service. Our waitress, Kat, was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Overall, I highly recommend Dave's Famous BBQ. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is top-notch. Thanks for a great experience, Kat!

Onie was our server for our first visit back in years & she was EXCELLENT!! Great food, fun (& nostalgic) music, perfect service. Most tender brisket I’ve ever had & the ribs?? My goodness what a fantastic meal!! Glad we decided to stop in today!

It was my first time at this location and I had a very good experience! Our server covered all bases. When we were leaving management made sure to ask how our visit went. I used to visit Famous Dave's when I lived in Denver and I loved it! My visit to this location definitely didn't disappoint me. I wish that we had a franchise back in Florida near or north of Tampa! Great job!

I don't usually post but wanted to thank the Manager Paul for going above and beyond to remake my order today. I usually get great service but unexpectedly my take out order was not satisfactory on Saturday night and I immediately called the restaurant. The Manager, Richard informed me that he served another customer the same meal and it looked fine. He also said he wanted to have "a conversation" with me when I came in to go over my order, which is reasonablebut the tone made me feel like I would be scolded. It was late and I don't live in town, so I informed the Manager, I would have to come back another day. I was informed that I needed to bring the meal back with the receipt to get a replacement because it is not the usual company policy to give refunds. Later, I was told I could put in a request that would go to Corporate to review to get a gift card if approved. I elected to get a replacement. Paul was very helpful in recommending substitutes side dishes and reheating instructions for the meal! I am a regular customer and it is not the typical service or food quality I receive so thanks to the manager Paul's courtesy, I will be back!

It also comes with two slices of toast and a piece of cornbread. The environment was clean, and the food came out quickly. I chose Georgia Chopped Pork, Texas Beef Brisket, and Country Roasted Chicken. Both of my kids agreed that their favorite was the Country Roasted Chicken.

The food was delicious, I do have to say they forgot to add one of the meets to our tray. And the fries were a lil toooo salty...we only got one refill and that was due to only one server. She was really busy but she was kind. Overall, we will return.

The service is great and receptive. The atmosphere is that countryside vibe if you want that reminder from the big city. Food is good, basic bbq, but worth checking out for a night out setting.

My expectations were high- but left me with some concerns. Jennifer (our server) was great, but I think she was working by herself (lunch service on a Saturday). Food was good, not great- good. The restaurant looked very dated- like a very old Chili’s. Dimly lit, initials carved on the table, just kind of messy. Had a verity of sauces available and a roll of paper towels on the table (how is that sanitary?), but left me wondering how this place passes health inspections. They don’t have “Apple Pay” available in 2026- how can you be in business in 2026 and not have access to technology! For the price tag, I was expecting more. The restaurant next door is closed and undergoing renovation, I think this place is next. As someone who try’s to support local businesses, this place needs a good makeover.

This was my first visit to Famous Daves. After hearing all the good reviews I was expecting the food to be great. I found the food to be just okay, nothing really special to say about it. The Mac and cheese was dry and the chicken tenders were burnt. The service was poor, our server only checked on us once, we had to call out toour server to bring us the check. I dont think we'll be going back anytime soon.

Customer service was a 10/10. The food lacked flavor. I had the Ribs and Meat combo with 2 sides. Which I chose the 4 ribs and brisket. Beans were my least favorite, Mac and cheese taste like an elevated box of Mac with the touch of jalapeno and corn. Brisket was very dry, Ribs were decent, cornbread was sweet and moist. I wouldn't waste my money by coming back. I paid $30 for this meal. 😔😔😔

My husband and I were so excited to try this place out since we never been. It will be the last time! Place was so under staffed, we waited 15 minutes from sitting down just for the hostess to ask us for water. They sat us in the bar area dining, the bartender was by herself. Tables were dirty with past customers food. We wanted to leave waiting for our meals but the bartender talked us into staying. Should have just left and went to Chic Fil A with my husband and kids. The plates looked dirty and old. Food was old. My daughter’s wings looked like they were store bought. By the time we left over 2 hrs later because it was so slow the table behind us with still covered with dirty dishes not to mention the bar area was covered with dirty dishes. Not a pleasant experience and huge waste of $$$

We were excited but let down. Our meal didn’t seem fresh or hot at all. Brisket did not taste good unfortunately. Ribs were ok with a little meat and tri tip was mediocre. Is the bbq freshly made in house or meat received frozen ? The fried Mac balls had no taste and the coleslaw, yikes. Mac n cheese was ok and the side salad filled with older lettuce. Best thing was the lemonade. It was my wife’s first experience at a bbq joint and sadly wasn’t a good one. This bbq needs more love.

I got to say this place has worst customer service ever. The server we had was white and gave no smile no friendly welcoming to this place.
