Came down on Memorial Day Weekend to get some takeout and it was so worth the drive! The house burger was fresh and hit the absolute spot. My wife got the spicy chicken sandwich and wouldn’t stop talking about how good it was. Two-thumbs up on the fries as well. To top it all off, they’re offering 24oz draft beers to-go for $5! I got an Angel City IPA myself. Well done Rebel Republic!

Love the vibe. Right in the heart of Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. Great music, nice bar setting. I’ve had the food - for “bar food” it’s really good. The staff are great. It’s just the right atmosphere for downtown Redondo. The only downside is Redondo can be a little sleepy, as can this place some nights - but hey, that’s the town, not the establishment. Overall highly recommend for a nice place to meet and chat over a drink and grab a quick bite.

Top beer ans smash burger combo on the Riviera strip. Great service ans great vibe with the whole family loving what they ordered, this place always has.some.action going on and fun to burn a fee hours having drinks.

Visiting Rodono Beach from the East coast... I can truly say this was a fun eating dig with plenty of spunk and personality. Drinks were on point, I had a sour whiskey and a mijito. Little disappointed they couldn’t make my caipirinha, but they made it up with a pretty good mojicón. Food was good, we got tacos and nachos. Location is what makes this place pretty fun. Outdoor seating with heaters and plenty of people watching. I loved this area as there are many little restaurants and bars. Definitely will be returning here if I venture back to these neck of the woods.

The food is really really good here!!! They have a decent sized menu with something for every kind of craving. Everything that we tried was very good, especially the mac and cheese and the meatballs!!! ❤❤❤ I highly recommend this restaurant!!

My mom & I came from out of town PA , and randomly stumbled on this spot to watch the eagles game . They put the game on and the sound for us . The atmosphere was amazing . Food & drinks were great. Alex was such a pleasure to talk to such great vibes . Blaire made killer drinks. The espresso martinis were amazing. Adrian… he killed it . He had so many tables & still made time to get our food and drinks to us in a timely manner . And still made time for conversation ! If you’re ever visiting def come here . Such a home town bar vibe I love it .

Handsome and welcoming bar staff. Wonderful food. From a very experienced perspective this is the best COCKTAIL bar in the South Bay. Must experience it soon.

My mom & I came from out of town PA , and randomly stumbled on this spot to watch the eagles game . They put the game on and the sound for us . The atmosphere was amazing . Food & drinks were great. The best place we've eaten in the restaurant area. As canadian tourists we appreciated the friendly service in particular (which we've noticed we haven't gotten much of this trip). Food - nachos and tacos were very tasty and the price was very fair.

If you are looking for corned beef and cabbage on Saint Patties Day then Rebel Republic is the place for you! This is my first time eating best and I am not disappointed. My wife ordered the corned beef and it was very tasty. I had the short ribs, they were nicely cooked and seasoned and a generous portion. The only down side was the noise, super loud but it was st. Patties day after all. Good food, good service and a nice selection of beer!

I gave it a 3 for the restroom. Any establishment that has unisex bathroom absolutely needs urinals.

The only real reason to go there is for the Wednesday burger, which is fine, good for $7, but the drinks are overpriced and in the end it's just a sportsbar trying to be edgy.

I have been going to rebel for more years than I can count, As well as HD Grill and Hennessy. Today was the first time that I’ve ever had despicable Service. We generally purchase three brunch dishes with drinks and often we get One plate that is ordered for a teenager from another establishment next door. Today we were told she was not allowed to eat her food on the patio. Had we been informed ahead of time or told this over the last 5 to 7 years it would have been understood. The directive was to stop eating and to leave after our food had been delivered to the table, Or to not allow a 15-year-old to eat her food. We asked for the manager Alex who arrived full of attitude. He communicated that this is a health department situation and we were not allowed to eat any other food on the patio. We asked if we could finish the meal today and then in the future we would not purchase some thing from another restaurant and Alex said no.. We explained that we were going to go ahead and continue to finish our meal since it had been delivered we would pay for our meal and then we would leave. This is my number one Sunday brunch spot and unfortunately now I have to find a new brunch spot. I’m generally not one for leaving negativity reviews because I work in the service industry but this was not handled with any focus on guest experience.

Unpleasant manager 10/31/2025. We arrived at about 10:20 pm on Friday, Halloween night. We were ignored by staff on a nearly empty patio for about 20 minutes straight aside from the moment the manager approached and turned off the heat lamp that was next to us as if to say we were not welcome even though the restaurant is open until 2 a.m. He then went inside without offering any service. Eventually the waitress approached us after about 20 minutes and asked us if we were ordering from the neighboring restaurant, which makes no sense. We tried to order food and she told us the kitchen already closed (presumably while we were waiting for service) even though the website says the kitchen closes at 11 p.m. Management: If that is the case please update your website which says the kitchen closes at 11 pm. Afterwards we spoke to the manager and told him that we are regulars and that we were disappointed. His response was that it was our fault for not being more vocal about wanting service and that it seemed like we were loiterers from the bar next door. Not sure what about the demographics of my group would have given him that impression but I have my suspicions. He also challenged our assertion that we are regulars because according to him he has been there 4 years and he has never seen us there before (as if we were lying about being regulars). Thanks buddy. Real nice. Can you refund the $1000 in charges that appear on my bank statement from the last 4 months alone since you are insinuating that I have never been there before? Also please note that does not include the money my family and friends have spent there. To be fair, usually there are some really awesome other staff members there. Unfortunately we did not see them there last night. Whoever that manager was left us with a really bad impression.
