Stopped early this am to get a box of coffee and 2 dozen bagels, I had a super great experience from friendliness to being super efficient even though I did not order ahead. Thank you to all working! What a great way to start my Sunday!
Love their Bagels, friendly staff, and clean rest rooms
It's usually good, but this time there was someone in training. She kept forgetting which toppings went with which bagel. That's ok, she just needs experience. But she had an attitude, like she was annoyed because the customer corrected her on the order. This won't matter long-term, because it will all be automated eventually. In general though, Brueggers in East Greenbush is a pleasant, convenient place to visit.
This place has been around for years and always a good place to go for a bagel or 2
Staff is always friendly and the food is always amazing!!
Get bagels every Sunday. Delicious!!
This place is legit very good. They are always consistent. The 🥯 taste amazing the day after as well. Countless selection of cream cheese. There are other places people compare brueggers to however brueggers does excellent job with the products they provide. Lastly some of their location can use a good cleaning 🧽.
I go here to treat my guests and my employer buys them for us. My wife absolutely adores their quality. They’re just a cut above the competition. Prices are market.
I got a whole wheat bagel with pb&j. I realized after a good vegan option would have been veggies and hummus if they had it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Bruggers Are The Best Bagels Around! Wide selection. Nice bagel sandwiches. Select toppings. I like to relax by the window and read. It would be nice if they had space for someone to play live acoustic music. It would be nice ambiance.
Mike and Tilane are the best, the attention is very nice
Mike is awesome, always friendly and gets my order right.
I went through the drive thru to get a few bagels because I was missing nyc bagels. The customer service was excellent despite the reviews. My bagels were so fresh they were still warm. I loved that I didn’t have to leave me car. The bagels were the closest I’ve gotten to nyc bagels out here.. yum. I will return!
T is a really excellent manager. Good service!
I love Brueggers!! Everything was so fresh. The only thing I dont love is the hours, closes too early.
Some of the best bagels you can have. Their smoked salmon can be beat. The drive through is quick and accurate. I'd don't know much about handicapped accessibility because I use the drive through which is easy on me. I'm handicapped ♿. They do have handicapped parking near the entrance. I know they do have restrooms 🚻 from others. It's popular but they move very fast here. The staff is always courteous. If you like bagels 🥯 this is a great place to visit.
In my opinion, the best Bagels in the capital district. They boil them. You can taste the difference. They also offer a few gormet flavors, for slightly more money. The standard flavors are still my favorite!
Always had good service and the food is great. The drive through audio system is sometimes difficult to hear but it beats not having a drive through! A lot of reviews talk about the length of the wait at the drive through, I think it's expected considering the type of sandwiches you get compared to other fast food chains.
These bagels are amazing! And i just realized this is on my way to work. The woman that took care of me was very nice and cheery early in the morning and that was a nice experience. Wish this shop was more noticeable from the road. I think they would get a lot more business during the week.
I love these bagels! Especially when they are fresh. I always get a breakfast sandwich and have never been disappointed.
The staff is great, food was hot and fresh. It was clean but very cramped, the line took up most of the space, not much they can do about that
Clean store, great service, food was perfect! Would recommend this location
This morning (12/18/25), the manager went above and beyond with customer service. He was very friendly and kind, and helped with my order in a way that wasn't required, but greatly appreciated 😊
This store management went well out of it's way when Door Dash dropped the ball! EXCELLENT store, quality food & always doing whatever needs to be done to satisfy the customer!!
Shoutout to T! He’s the best over there, always got a smile on his face, and has great customer service! Will be coming back.
I live out of state. Coming home to get some bagels, and Brueggers hasn’t failed me yet. The associates here are very helpful and always quick with my order.
Picked up Saturday morning bagels and when I got them home, they were hot and fresh! Went perfect with some bacon scallion cream cheese. And my coffee was fresh and hot. Mike and Kevin were awesome helping me out this morning!!!
Bagels are always great, the staff are friendly and helpful. I think their new POS system is terrible and has made the service side much more difficult for both employees and customers, no fault of the employees. Customers don’t seem to like not being able to look at what’s available while placing their orders.
I love the Bruegger’s in North Greenbush! The staff is super friendly, always very helpful and the food is delicious! If they’re ever out of anything, the manager will even come to talk to you and apologize. I hope this Bruegger’s stays around as I go there often.
This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the area. Service is always quick and served with a smile. The workers and manager now know my name and greet me as soon as I come in and usually start making my order before I even get to the counter. Food is always hot, atmosphere is always pleasant.
This place is honestly pretty good. Foods fast, good vibe for a bagel and coffee place. And everyone was professional about everything. Will definitely come back
Gordon was very helpful and made my food exactly how it should be. Service from staff was great! Deff recommend stopping in for a bagel or 2
I want to thank Manager T for his thorough explanation the other day. T was genuinely helpful regarding my concern with the upcharge in replacing the Chipotle spread with the tomato paste on my Western sandwich order. His transparency of corporate policy enlightened me. T is very friendly and professional. And, he makes a truly tasty bagel sandwich! Thanks again T!!!
I just got home with a giant bag of fresh bagels. This location is way out of my way, but I make the effort and stock up because the bagels are delicious and the service friendly and efficient. Well worth the trip.
I order bagels once a month for work. (3-4 dozen) I order ahead and the bagels are always warm and delicious! The General Manager is friendly and knows me by name. As a customer, I appreciate the kindness that is shown by the staff!
I Have known T At Bruegger’s for Probably 30 years and I would happily go to any Bruggers that he is working at. From Central Avenue, to Madison Avenue to Now East Greenbush, any establishment that he is at has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly demeanor, and great service. I enjoy my weekly bagel with extra cream cheese. Everyone at the East Greenbush branch is always friendly welcoming, and a pleasure to be around.
This location never disappoints. The bagels are always fresh and perfectly baked. The staff is friendly and quick and they know my order once I walk in the door. Always a great experience!
I am at Bruegger's every Sunday morning and I am always greeted with a smile. After so many years, they know my order before I can even tell them. These are the only bagels my family will eat!
Love bruegger’s bagels. Store is looking a little dirty. Staff is polite and does a good job. Don’t expect to sit and eat, they don’t allow you to stay. It’s a to go place only.
I work in the area and come in the mornings sometimes. For the most part the service is good, except when they get very busy, then a lot if mistakes on orders. My only compliant, there is a group of regulars always there and they are boisterous about Baseball with other customers and the staff. The last time I was there, I got up and left I was so annoyed with the aruging.
Brueggers bagels are honestly the best I have ever had. Although, they always run out too fast and never seem prepared well for the amount of patrons they get on any given day. I wish they were open later!
My go to place before work, love this place :)
This is my go-to chain for a delicious BLT on their amazing Parmesan bagel. I absolutely love it! This particular location has the added convenience of a drive-through, which is a big plus. Like all its locations the coffee is horrible. I do wish they had some seating available, as it's always nice to have the option to sit and enjoy your meal. Despite that, the quality of the food and the drive-through convenience keep me coming back. Highly recommend!
This is the best experience I have had at a fast food restaurant in a long time. The food was prepared quickly and to order, and the staff were very friendly. No one was on their phone or wearing headphones—it was clear customer service was the priority. Good service from people who are friendly and competent is so hard to come by! Thank you!
I only recently have entered this wonderful world of bagels and this is the only location I've been to. When busy I go inside and all is well and clean etc. Once recently after getting home I found 2 of my bagels had the cinnamon (as asked) on top but the bottom halves were poppy sees or everything bagel which SUCKED. Lost receipt to the wind and took the L. I'll still return, but definitely will fully check order next time, no matter how hot and buttery the bagel may be. I won't be bottom deceived again☝️lol
Bagels are better than average. Did not like the coffee.
It is a typical Bruegger's bagels. Bagels are delicious and the cream cheese is the best. Why I am rating it so low is that on more than one occasion they have run out of stuff. Their bagel production doesn't always meet demand and there has been more than one time they ran out of plain cream cheese.
Convenient location. The customer service can be less than welcoming and a bit slow. The bagels are always fresh and very delicious. The assortment of spreads is OK, could offer expanded options. They offer a nice selection of juices and drinks, expanding these options would be great as well. Good parking as it's located in a strip mall.
Great bagels, however they are almost chronically understaffed with long wait times inside and in the drive thru. Also ordering via the app is always a roll of the dice, Many times they have not even realized they had mobile orders. Often out of the most popular bagels(Cinnamon raisin). In short, the place has potential but is often let down.
Full staff, and it was very busy. I ordered an egg with pastrami and swiss on bagel and egg sausage cheese on Bagel. When i returned home i noticed that they forgot to add my egg. At that point it was to late and didn't want to go back out.
The bagels rock, but the service stinks. Still worth going
I always love the bagels here and it it definitely one of my favorite places to go because they boil the bagels. The only option that they have in most locations is to go in and order, but the location I went to had a drive through. I was in a bit of a rush so I decided to do that and I did not like it. There was only one car in front of me and it took a solid 12-15 minutes to receive my order in the window. I went on the off hours so I'm not sure why it took so long. I would recommend just going in because it will take less time in the end.
Just okay, Sandwich is small size (plain bagels) but tastes okay. Loved the taste of coffee.
ordered through Doordash. I got a coffee and the image had cream and I'm sure sugar. They didn't have the option to add cream or sugar so I thought it was preselected like other coffee places. Got the coffee and it was straight black but super watery. didn't even taste good on it's own. The bagels weren't toasted when asked and this place is just honestly average food. Also it just seemed like they slap everything on the bagels and call it a day. could be so much better if there was a little care put in. I would have rather gone to Panera or Aroma Joes.
The bagels here are very good, better than uncommon grounds which is a very popular place in a region with good bagel places. That being said, the service isn’t that great, as other reviews have mentioned. I was able to write this whole review in the drive thru while the lady in front of me was just sitting there at the order screen with no one taking her order. The coffee is good too. The only food disappointment I had was when I ordered a blueberry muffin, I got a prepacked preservative packed airline food blueberry muffin. I don’t mind paying more for real muffins, but I won’t be getting one of those again. Still, I recommend anyone try it out. The bagel sandwiches really are top notch. I hope they work out their service kinks, because I’m ready to make it my go to bagel place.
First of all, I love you food it is fantastic, your bagles are amazing! But, for the last 3 months every Saturday morning I order your food on Doordash and it has been consistently wrong. Also, literally every time I order a muffin it is burt. I really hope this gets fixed because I love your food. I will not be ordering from here again until it those issues are fixed.
Place Is Disgusting. There’s No Standard Food Practice, Went In Saturday To Get Food Counters Weren’t Wiped Off Where Bagels Are Cut And Knifes Weren’t Being Wiped, One Girl With Blonde Hair Didn’t Have Her Hair Up Or In A Hair Net Just Out And Kept Pushing Her Hair Back With Gloves And Continued Making Food, Will Not Be Coming Back To This Location
Food/bagels are amazing but the cleanliness of this place made me give it two stars, and I will probably never go back to this location again after seeing what I saw. I couldn't believe my eyes when I walked in and saw a dark streak on the floor from the front door to the counter. The floor was sticky to walk on and visibly discolored from grime building up on the floor. The place looked a mess. If that's how clean they keep the place where customers can see, I don't even want to know what the back/kitchen looks like where they prep the food. One of the worst kept bagel shops I have gone to.
Bagels are pretty good, but every time I come here, without exception, the service is painfully slow. Staff seems disorganized and they move around without any sense of urgency. I've been here 20 minutes now waiting for two sandwiches. It's almost worse that the McDonald's across the street. Almost. Edit: There's a lady that just came in from the drive thru, and she looks pissed.
When they get an order right Bruegger’s is delicious & their bagels are the best however receiving what you ordered is a rare unicorn indeed. Today I ordered a BLT. Easy right? Nope I got a tomato with one piece of cold B. It didn’t have lettuce the on BLT! It’s in the name. Besides that I ordered an everything bagel and received a plain. I asked for half a scoop of jalepeno cream cheese & got full scoops on both sides. How can they get so many things wrong in one little sandwich you ask? Perhaps if the order taker would have not kept interrupting with my total & let me finish my order or asked me “is there was anything else?” we might not have had such a miscommunication. Management please train you people to know your menu items & work on consistency.
Not a great experience at this location! I usually go to the one in Loudonville when I’m home, but stopped here because it was conveniently off the highway and we were headed out of town. I came in here on a Friday around 10 am, so not the peak time like sat/Sun morning or rush hour traffic. I would never want to come in here at 9 am on a weekend. There was a small line of people, I thought no problem this will move. It took forever! So I observed 5 people working here. Two seemed to be making bagels in the back, two serving people at the counter and one serving the drive through lane. They REALLY needed one more person helping people at the counter. Some of the workers seemed confused. Just an overall inefficient place. The line grew greatly as I waited and was probably ten people long by the time I left. At least I was able to score some hot and fresh plain bagels, since I was only home for a brief trip to the Capital District from FL. I’d recommend closing the drive through lane, this is not an efficient enough type of business to get people through quickly. Just overall poorly run and inefficient compared to other Bruegger’s I have been to in Troy, Loudonville and Clifton Park.
Foods is decent but if doing an online order expect half of it to not be there. Spend an extra $2 to get a tiny hash brown and they forget it every single time.
Our party of four liked our lunch as the food was very tasty. However we did not order coffee because we noticed the half and half was sitting out and not in the carafe, and the container was warm to the touch. The place was very dirty with napkins, crumbs and debris all over the floor and on the tables. The ladies room was also very unclean. Seems to be very poorly managed. Service is also extremely slow, though pleasant. As we were eating, we noticed two customers walk out because they had not been acknowledged. All of the staff was in the back somewhere maybe making more bagels as the racks were almost empty. Perhaps they were short-staffed due to the Christmas holiday?
The quality of bagels is good, but the staff rushed me through my order, which I would have been fine with if they got it right. Gentleman handed me the bag out the window and said your on your way. I get home and I'm missing a bagel for one of my family members. Need better quality checks from them.
Used to be my go to on Sundays. The new way of taking orders sucks. Liked it better when I could look at what they had and have time to decide order. Now you walk I'm and the girl asks for your order before you get to the counter. Can't wait for uncommon grounds to open. I'm done with brueggers. Mostly because of the girls attitude.
I paid $26 for 4 sandwiches, which would be fine if they were made correctly. 2 bacon egg and cheeses had uncooked bacon. The two other sandwiches were supposed to have cheddar and were made with American ): I don’t come here often because I live far away and this trip was super disappointing.
The person at the register was great, then we waited…and waited…and waited. They lost our order and then said they found it and gave us a bag. It was definitely NOT what we ordered but we didn’t have time to go through getting the order remade. Bagels were good, hard to judge the rest since it wasn’t what we ordered. We understand that they were busy but a little more care and actually listening when we told them what we had ordered and making sure that was what they gave us instead of just handing us whatever bag they found would have been appreciated. Not the best first experience with Bruegger’s. Might be our last.
I pre-ordered bagels an hour ahead of time and when I went to go pick them up, they were not ready. In fact, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes after I got there for the bagels to be fully prepared. The coffee was also warm (not hot). I got two bagels, one was a five cheese bagel and the other was an asiago bagel. The asiago bagel was smaller than the palm of my hand. Compared to the other one, it was almost half the size. For the price these bagels cost, I felt insanely cheated. The people who worked there were kind but they were very stressed due to being severely understaffed and nonstop orders coming in. The service was so slow that people from the drive through (with the line reaching the street) had to come inside the store.
My wife went to the drive thru today and received her order but the worker asked her if she would like to tip them while holding her debit card which made her feel obligated to tip him.for what doing his job he didn't bring her food to a table or clean the up after her, maybe if he came out and clean her windshield then we'd tip.so you just lost another customer for making her feel obligated for nothing
This may be the most poorly run Brueggers in the capital district. Consistently the workers are rude and short with customers and are always late with preparing orders, extremely slow. If you plan on placing a mobile order expect it to not be ready when you arrive. I am not sure how a chain establishment like this could be so bad.
Horrible experience!! I placed my mobile order and waited to grab it. After 10-15 minutes waiting I asked politely around how long it would take for my order to be ready. The manager said they never got an order and I tried telling them that I placed it to the right store and the app took my money. They accused me of being a liar and told me it wasn’t their problem I don’t believe the app messed up. I showed him my bank account and they finally made my order. I refuse to ever go back to this place. The manager is horrible
Always check you bag. They do not pay attention at this location. They forget your hashbrowns all the time, also open your sandwich They leave ingredients out consistently. Use to love it here, this location has absolutely gone horribly down hill
The worst food place I've been to. The employees close the drive thru 4/5 times for no reason. Its not that the intercom doesnt work either, because theyll tell you over it that it's closed. When the drive thru actually is open, it takes 10-15 minutes to get your food. One time I walked in, and I was not greeted nor even looked at by the 3 employees in there standing around jist talking. They ignored me for a solid 3 minutes before I had to interupt their conversation and tell them I was ready to order. I was then told they had nothing and wouldnt for another half an hour. They are unprepared, unapolegetic, rude, have no sense of urgency, and management seems nonexistent.
Service was the worse I have ever experienced. I ordered a bagel with double egg, 5 minutes went by no sandwich, server said waiting for eggs to cook. While this was going on a young woman was making egg bagels for customers that ordered after me so I asked again about my sandwich still not ready so I sat down with my son while he ate and waited. when he finished eating still no sandwich. 1st and last time I’ll ever eat at Bruegger’s
THE ABSOLUTE WORST Brueggar’s location that ever existed. World’s slowest drive-through service and then to add insult to injury, they ask you to remind them of what you ordered when you finally get to the window. I continue to go back here because it’s one of the few breakfast options near me. I have finally had enough though. I just sat at the drive-through window for more than 10-minutes before someone came to the window asking if I had been cashed out yet. If you’re in the area, save yourself the headache and frustration and just go to the Starbucks across the street. This place appears to make a conscious effort to provide poor customer service, as that is the only thing consistent about the experience at this Brueggar’s location. Oh and by the way, after pulling away I found that they got my order wrong. Not even worth going back, as they likely would just get it wrong again. Unbelievable.
The bagels are small, never loaded with toppings like they should be, have to go home and add our own cream cheese, butter was forgotten, my turkey had to be added on… me ✌🏻‘n out.
The girl at the drive thru might have been forced against her own will to work at brueggers, or at least that’s what her attitude made it seem like. No napkins in the bag, no receipt. Also found a FAT white hair in our sandwich for the second time in a year- found a black hair in my bagel over the summer too. Starting to think it’s on purpose. Absolutely disgusting. Never returning again.
This is not the Bruggers that i used to go to in the early 1990's! No help, bagels are overcooked and the place has little flies flying around various areas of the dining area. The day i visited there was only 2 people working and the service In the lobby was very slow. I asked for a lightly toasted bagel and it was burnt. They had a hot sign for plain bagels and they were ice cold! The only plus for this place was the music was classic rock.
This place is so run down and crappy. Stood there waiting for five minutes before someone took our order. None of the employees seemed to know who should be doing what. One of them left three stacks of cash on the register, with their back to me, to pour my coffee. The atmosphere was terrible. Unclean tables, ripped up seats and a manager sitting off to the side at a table, doing nothing. I will say the food we ordered was good, but with the way things were, we almost left after half our order was taken and then we were left standing there for another five minutes before the rest of our order was taken.
Mediocre bagels Plain Bagel w/ CC: very small bagel and the cream cheese was sour. After one bite it left a very bad aftertaste. Egg, Peppered Bacon & Cheese: it was very mid. It didn’t have any flavor to it. Iced coffee: very watered down. Comparing this to BJ’s bagels, I think you’re better off buying a pack of bagels from BJ’s and making them at home.
Ordered two breakfast sandwiches here maybe 15minutes ago. Nothing complicated. Both managed to get messed up. One didn't even have what was ordered on it, and neither had the spreads they were supposed to. If Sriracha is in the name of the sandwich, it should be a safe assumption that some would find its way onto the sandwich.
Giving one star based on cleanliness. The seating area is still closed because they’re afraid of germs, but the place is filthy. The machine they make the eggs on looks like it’s never been cleaned once. Also, the bagels keep getting smaller, but not the prices. These are actual mini bagels.
Seriously, I waited in line for 10 minutes after the person at the register told me to ''order over there''. I told the man behind the counter that I did not order yet, twice. The second time, he told me I had to order at the register. I went to Paneras. I'm not surprised that you are going out of business.
horrible experience. would give 0 stars if i could. staff was rude and extremely unhelpful. placed an order for pickup at 10:50 and was picking up a friends order placed for 10:40. 10:50 order was ready at 10:55. asked for the 10:40 order and was told if it’s not on the shelf, they’re working on it. the order was three toasted bagels…. nothing crazy…. waited another twenty minutes (which is already crazy) and asked again and told them i’m confused because i’ve been waiting 40 minutes for three toasted bagels. was very rudely told that they’re working on it and they’ve been busy. ok and i’ve now been patiently waiting for 40 minutes for three toasted bagels??? tons of people have been in and out and through the drive through. not me though. still waiting. you can’t cancel an order online so i asked to cancel and she said go ahead, and then moved on to help the next person. ??? never once asked my order, and they were making new more recent pick up orders. something clearly went wrong and when i asked twice i basically was shooed away. twice. i understand they’re busy… i got my order on time. and this second order was over 40 minutes late. that’s not normal… and you’re not just “working on it”. absolutely so uncalled for and rude. never got the bagels. wasn’t about to wait another 40 minutes or ask again because they clearly were not looking to be helpful. left without the bagels. insane.
This place is a joke, most employees were extremely rude. This has to be one of the most dysfunctional workplaces I have ever seen.
2 times in a row I received plain cream cheese after repeatedly saying vegetable. The second time I went back & they did make the correct one. I wish uncommon grounds was in east greenbush. The bagel was undercooked & doughy. This place has gone downhill.
This is the worst Bruegger’s I’ve ever been to. It usually takes a ridiculous amount of time so I’ve started ordering about half an hour before I get there. I waited for 40 minutes and still didn’t have my order ready. The workers are incredibly rude and don’t even give you the time to ask about it. Then they didn’t have the bagel I ordered and who knows, maybe they would have had it 40 minutes ago when I ordered it but rather than call ahead they just wait. And even when they do have it the bagels aren’t good. This place is awful I would recommend going to literally any other bagel place before this one.
Order not ready on time. Other people who ordered after me, had their order ready for pick up before me.
Literally the slowest place I've ever been. Been waiting for 10 minutes for someone to even take my order. There isnt anyone even in here, they are just ignoring people for the drive thru.
This location should be closed and audited. Twice now I’ve paid for food online only to arrive and not get the food I ordered. Once they just had a sign that they were closed. Once told they didn’t see my order. Checked my card after arrived home and it’s on there. What exactly is going on in this location? And good luck getting a response. No more Brueggers. I’ve never had this problem at Panera’s or any of their other competitors. They’ve lost my business
Decided to stop at brueggers bagels after so many years of not having it. I love the one in Troy but heard that burnt down. So I stopped in the one in east Greenbush … let me tell you the place just absolutely dirty ! Table all dirty. I made a comment about it but no cone here seemed to care. Other than that food is ok. Not as good as I remembered but it’s ok.. the selections of items to put in my coffee are a lot less than I remembered too. I really think is the location.. it’s giving “lack of”.. but in all honesty, I think when the Troy location was up and running, they just had a lot more selections. The atmosphere was cleaner and maybe I just missed the old location because this one does not meet the standard…
Store opens at 6:00 and I show up at 6:20 on a Saturday morning. I see no one from outside the store but walk up and see that they should be open. I walk in and see one of the staff sitting in a both playing with her phone. She doesn’t bother to look up or greet me. I walk over to the counter and see someone in the back who looks at me and then away. I finally say, “hello, anyone home?” She comes over and says, “there was a problem with the ovens”. There are no bagels. I wasted my very little time to stop here. I’m sure that the trouble was with an alarm clock and maybe a Friday night outing. I haven’t stopped in here for a while because of previous bad service. There bagels are good. I like their veggie cream cheese and hummus but I don’t have time to waste my time. I quickly drove over to Dunkin’ Donuts and got my bagel promptly. So I decided to give them another chance. Yay, they had bagels this time. I ordered 2 bagels. One with cream cheese and the other with hummus. Cream cheese bagel ok. Hummus? Not so good. He took a dirty from the day before knife that was sitting on a gross looking piece of ham in a dirty stainless steel container. I’m a vegetarian but many people don’t eat ham. I said no thanks. Wow, tried ((East Greenbush location) it again, as I said their bagels are superior. They didn’t get to shoveling or salting. Slipped on the snow on the curb and my other foot hit the curb hard? Broken? Not sure but it sure does hurt. I let them know and they said they would take care of it right away but how about doing it before someone is injured!
The bagels are good. The ability to get what you order and pay for is not. Over the couple of years the frequency of errors with our family's orders have been increasing. After today, I'm done trading our tradition of going to this Greenbush/Rensselaer Bruegger's location for actually getting what we order. Luckily between Uncommon Grounds and newer independent bagel shops in Latham, North Greenbush, and Albany we will be able to get our desire for bagels fulfilled in stores that understand obvious things like not putting Everything bagels in a bag between plain and raisin bagels so that we couldn't enjoy our bagels without spending a long time picking garlic and onion out of the plain and raisin bagels and then washing the sticky saltiness off too! Here's a list of a few of the issues we've had during the last year in addition to the fact they have stopped putting the everything bagels in their own smaller bag to protect other flavours. I placed an order for a dozen bagels while standing in the store but didn't count the 13 bagels go in the bag-when I got home there were only 11. My partner ordered a dozen plus cream cheese and a sandwich for a work function- after returning 15 minutes to an office meeting it turns out instead of 2 there were 0 cream cheese containers and NO sandwich. The Friday after Thanksgiving we ordered 2 dozen and 4 cream cheeses-found out at home there were no cream cheese so 40 minutes of extra driving until the family could finally eat breakfast. I went in the store at 11:30, knowing they wouldn't have 13 cinnamon raisin bagels since it's a busy time for bagels. I placed an order for them and paid in person and said I'd be back later to pick up my order. I returned 35 minutes later and learned that instead of putting 13 bagels from the next batch into a bag for me, they all went into the bin and too many were sold so that I could not receive the 13 raisin bagels I'd requested and paid for. I was told a new batch would be ready in about 15 minutes, but I'd specifically arranged my errands so as not to rush myself or the workers and still get my bagels. They had to refund my money. I will never attempt to get bagels from them again. Our family has better things to do with our lives than check over our orders to find what new mess has been made of them. This used to be our favourite go to place for quick family fun breakfast. RIP Bruegger's.
Ordered a bunch of bagels on grubhub and none of them were prepared correctly and they forgot my coffee. They didn't have an option to put butter on a bagel either which is asinine.
Definitely was not a happy camper when I made it to work and realized that my sandwich one barely had any bacon and also the bacon that was on there was burnt. I called to speak to a manager, but was continuously redirected to the automated voice service. I will say that the employees were polite, but seemed like they may be overworked as several different orders continued to come in while I waited for mine for an extra seven minutes. I would like to be contacted to speak to a manager as I didn’t pay $8 for a basic egg sandwich with burnt bacon.
At 10am so not even during a rush- Ordered 3 bagels, one sandwich and hash browns online. Waited for 45 min for my order only to tell me they’re out of one of my bagels after 40 min. Food was obviously poorly made, it was actually inedible and everyone tossed everything, service atrocious, no apology. Older woman was actually rude to me when I asked where to pick up my order and just said “haven’t started yet”. If she or the manager standing next to her would’ve said -“sorry we’re really behind but we’ll get it out as soon as we can” I would’ve said no worries I get it, but she was nasty to me and the other customers. I feel bad for anyone who works with her as it causes customers to be irritated immediately by how rude she is.
