I’m giving five stars because the service is good and the staff are very friendly. The water is not good—definitely sink water. The food is alright to be honest lol, it’s somewhat bland, but I’m from Houston so not sure if I’m biased because of Houston’s Chinatown. The duck was probably the best out of the dishes I tried.

Food always so fresh, delicious food, fast service, and staff are friendly. Ive order ducks noodle soup, veggies stir fried, beef stir fried flat noodles. Its not too salty just right savory flavored. That place only take cash payment.

Very good food!! We got the shrimp fried rice, beef with Scallions, cheese shrimp, and wanton dumplings (shrimp and pork inside). The fried rice has so much flavor! The beef scallion was really good too as well as the cheese shrimp. The wontons were alright. To me they didn’t have much flavor but decent. Fast service and clean place.

Craving some Chinese BBQ and this place is good. Good service and comfortable seating. Generous portion and prices are reasonable. The wonton is average and, due to the shrimp/meat portion, it is not balanced.

Very friendly staff and quick service, with large portions at reasonable prices. What I expected at an older mom-and-pop spot. Overall, a decent place for a casual meal.

March 2025 First review after years of visit. Love the Chinese BBQ, this is the restaurant whenever I craved for Chinese BBQ. Good food landmark of Chinese cuisine in DFW. Recommend highly. Only down side, small parking lot with limited parking spaces.

Decent spot for Chinese BBQ. We ordered roast pork, half duck, combo meat plate, broccoli, and a noodle dish for three adults and two children. We also ordered a couple bowls of steamed rice. We can a little later on a Sunday afternoon. The food was fine, luke warm with OK flavor. They had already sold out of the crispy pork dish my partner wanted. Service was good until the end, when the server was weird about the ticket and then we saw there was a service charge (menu says for parties of 6 or more, and we had 5). Overall a mid experience, I'd only go back if someone else had a craving.

I don’t know why we always end up coming back here.. oh wait yes I do. The food is always good. Everything else is worst in the business. Food: Every dish we get here is a delicious. Our usual dishes are Wonton Noodle Soup with Duck and Chinese Broccoli aka 106 with broccoli. Orange Beef/Chicken. Sizzling oysters and combination fried dish. Any dish you get will be delicious. These are real and authentic Chinese chefs. The food is the only reason we come back and endure their staff’s horrendous attitude and service. Service: Worst service anywhere. I challenge you to find worse service. The waitresses are all uptight and rude. They could careless about you, as long as you pay and tip. Our waitress took our order and reminded us it was cash only. Once we ordered we realized we may not have enough cash to cover all the dishes so we asked them to let us know an estimate so we may have to cancel one of the dishes. We asked if we could make any other form of payment other than cash and she said no. It’s almost 2020. Get a credit card machine or square or any online payment! After she gave us the total We realized we wouldn’t be able to tip so we asked to cancel one of the dishes. She immediate said too late go to atm machine but I will go check? How do you know if it’s too late if you haven’t checked? Then she back after checking and said ok we can cancel one dish. Once we ate and got our check she said this amount doesn’t have tip, be sure to tip. I almost lost my cool and let her have it. we came around 1pm, that’s the time the entire Price: good deal for great food Ambience: Clean and crowded. Not with people though. Chairs and tables are really close to each other. Overall: we only come here for the food. Everything else is terrible.

Usually I ordered online for First Chinese BBQ in Garland by Uber eats. Today is our first time dining in First Chinese BBQ Richardson and we have bad experience. From the beginning the servers were impatient, rude and unfriendly. The food and portion are Good but I can say the service is terrible. Please learn to respect your customers !

Rude owner and customer service is bad. Can't even split bills when paying with card. Can't believe there still a place that prefer paying cash. Need to double check this shady business! Avoid this place if you value good service and transparency. Won't be returning!!!

We had a very disappointing dining experience. We placed our order before several other tables, yet three tables that arrived after us all received their food while ours never came. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that those tables were all American customers, while we were completely overlooked. There was no proactive explanation or apology from the staff.

This experience was very disappointing. The barbecued pork and fried egg rice I ordered looked nothing like photo 2 — they gave me something like photo 1 which was too disgusting; And I ordered a roast duck and roast chicken combo, but they gave me roast duck and pork instead.…… Most importantly, all the chefs are Mexicans, and the taste is completely lacking authentic Cantonese flavor. If you care about authenticity Cantonese flavor, this place is total nonsense. Don't waste your money here.

idk if I order the food that they r not good at cooking or what but this roasted pork and duck rice is terrible. Roasted pork is soggy and what should be crunchy crust turns out to be greasy fat. Roasted duck is the most terrifying one. So many hairs on the skin so gross. Drive all the way from Grapevine to get such terrible food. Very disappointed
