Fuji Sushi

Fuji Sushi & Grill exceeded all expectations. The cozy ambiance and aromatic hot tea set the stage. The hibachi dish was generously portioned and bursting with flavor. Their sushi rolls were both artful and delicious, though we had to take some to go due to the generous portions.

Omg… ♥️♥️♥️ Wow wow wow !!! You have got to try “Hot mama” it was phenomenal!!!! 🍣 it was so light and airy. The way they tempura fried the sushi was excellent! It was super ligit! Emma recommend it to me. She’s a super sweet! I can’t wait to go back here and take my family with me! The best sushi for sure! 🍣♥️😇 I also had the fried banana with ice cream. Soooo sooo good 🍨. Will be back for sure! Thank you Emma!

Haven't had sushi in quite a bit, and this place didn't disappoint!! Sushi was fresh and mouth watering. The mountain roll was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had! The presentation was beautiful and the service even better!! Strongly recommend.

I have been ordering pick up a lot (grubhub) from them but I thought I'd spoil myself and grab warm sushi at the site of service. Awesome so glad I did. It's nothing fancy or special but they have great combo deals for couples. All the rolls are well pictured or described in the restaurant menu vs ordering online. I really like this place. Food is always fresh. Glad I finally decided to come in. Atmosphere is pretty normal maybe could be described as small and intimate. It's pretty informal. None of that matters to me as long as the fish is fresh and it taste good and trust me it definitely does. I also took cold rolls Togo and split a combo and took the cold to go they happily obliged. So fresh and yummy I can keep it in the fridge for a few days. If you find yourself buying heb sushi you will save money and support a local place by coming here instead or getting it delivered. I highly recommend it over HEB sushi especially considering it is either priced the same or cheaper but the quality is much better.

We've been here a few times and the food is always good, along with the service. They have some really great and creative roles. For appetizer I'd suggest trying the Money Brains. I'd recommend to anyone who is in the area and in the mood for some sushi. I originally gave them a 4, but after returning a few times and receiving constant great service and food I upped them to a 5.

Expensive, but worth it. One of my favorite sushi places. My Lonestar Roll and Hot Mama are some of my favorite rolls. Although Hot Mama is a spicy roll, it's not unbearably hot and has great flavor-- and I'm generally not good with spicy things. The Phoenix tail roll is kind of bland compared to the Hot Mama but still tasty. Finally the Sunset Hollywood is a good roll if you want a "safe" roll. The flavors blend well together and there's nothing too flashy that might deter a picky eater.

Wow! Just wow. We ordered several rolls to try it out and every one of them did not disappoint! We came to Fuji Sushi because our favorite place is closed on Mondays and we are so glad we did. Definitely give them a try, you will not regret it! Staff was so gracious and sweet and the place is immaculate. We will definitely be back! First Customers on Grand Opening Day! Very extensive menu with plenty of sushi options including local restaurant favorites! Great service, waitress was very attentive. Decor is brand new, with plenty of seating including a bar and sushi bar. All in all have found our go-to spot in in the Waterside Village/ Aliana area.

Amazing service, the food was super tasty and the place hygienic. Great restaurant to have dinner if you’re a sushi lover, and even if not you have plenty of other options like ramen and beef/chicken dishes. Definitely coming back.

Came here on a Wednesday for lunch and It was great! I got the lunch combo- 3 rolls and it comes with either miso soup or salad for $15. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Service was fast! Restaurant and restrooms were clean. The location is convenient for the surrounding neighborhoods and it does have outdoor seating. Small indoor and out but cute!

I've tried their hibachi (to-go) once and wasn't really a fan, but I won't remove a star for that because that's not what you go here for. Dined in once, it was chill and we had a nice experience. Solid sushi offerings, I've been here countless times, and I recommend it!

This was our first time visiting this spot last night. We went with some friends that had been a few times before and suggested we give it a try. Great suggestion and we'll definitely be back! Brand new restaurant with a modern look in a great part of town. The portions were more than enough as well. We chose 2 rolls and and the Calamari appetizer which I struggled to finish... and I rarely struggle to finish my food!lol The presentation very colorful and very good which made to the overall experience that much better. If you're looking for a new spot to eat and craving Sushi don't hesitate to give this place a try.

First time trying this place for delivery via DoorDash. Overall food was decent and well presented. Each roll has 8-10 pieces and they were good. We got the Flaming Lips roll and State Hwy 249 roll, combo rice, soup and then kids meal. We also tried the Monkey Brain appetizer. The appetizer tasted okay, it was a little mushy and hard to eat, the sauce was good but being delivery the food sat in the sauce and made the crunch soggy which then made it hard to pick up. By the time it got to us the avocado was darkened which made it look a little less appetizing. The rolls were good, I preferred the Flamjng Lips one overall. My husband said the combo rice was good and the servicing size meant we had some left for tomorrow. Overall the food was 4/5 for taste, ability to be delivered and still look amazing and presentation.
