Excellent Puerto Rican Food. Wish they were in Wesley Chapel/Dade City area.

I have to give them 5 stars to my compatriotas. The jibaritos are delicious specially the steak ones. My daughter and I order those twice a month. We love the service of OTO and his wife. Amazing people amazing food .

We had a great meal of alcapurias, empanadas, and arroz con pernil, the only thing missing was the cuerito. Another great meal today Guavate.

When there today for the first time and can honestly say I waited a bit for my food but it was well worth it. The rice OMG just like my grandma used to make it. El Churrasco was delicious, la Yuca frita i wanted more and the Flan de queso was the cherry 🍒 to the perfect desert. Definitely will be coming back.

Perfection when it comes to Traditional Puerto Rican food. Well worth the drive! I recommend preordering on Uber Eats, calling ahead, etc. all so tasty and flavorful. The whole roast chicken, the pernil, the arroz con guandules. All so good

The food was hot and delicious 😋 I never had a sandwich on a tostones so what a real treat. They have seating and shade with fans so it's not too bad when the sun is out. My husband is from PR and said the Tembleque was great!

Today they were in Orlando Lake underhill and we went to try it because they are from Aguada PR like my boyfriend is and the food was nothing but fire 🔥 recomendado full!!!

Best Puertorrican spot I've tried in the Tampa Bay area. You feel like you are in el campo in Puerto Rico with how they decorated and the music. We order mofongos with churrasco, carne frita and shrimp. As well as alcapurria. Everything was delicious. The mofongo were moist, just like they should be. The service was also excellent. Definitely coming back.

Took mom here for a quick appetizer but OMG so impressed of how great the food was and the atmosphere too. There was music. ( Grupo Wepa) I did not know they were celebrating their 5 year anniversary. Also loved the little chickens and roosters running around also the beautiful flowers and plants at the nursery within the same space outside. Best time ever seeing all the jeeps meet up too. Just really felt like we were in PR imagine that!

The food was delicious and the price was right. We ordered 3 dishes and 2 drinks and we ended up paying $48 bucks, but the meals were 5 star restaurant quality, hefty and the ambiance was amazing! I have paid $30 bucks for one meal, at other restaurants, and they couldn’t even come close to the amount and quality that this food truck offers. They had Grupo Wepa playing and they were on 🔥. They were playing salsa, merengue and bachatas and we were super impressed.

This food is really good! I had the rotisserie chicken the rice with gandules and the yuca!! Soooo yummy! Been here twice. I've tried the pernil, lechón and the jibarito de churrasco!! Todo rico and I'm picky with Puerto Rican food as I cook it pretty good myself lol. Definitely give it a try!

This is a food truck type of eatery off of a busy road and right next to a garden nursery. Las alcapurrias are so delicious and on point. I’m very picky with alcapurrias and had stopped eating them due to no real flavor to them. Not this place, the cooks do an excellent job with the seasoning. Food is really good. Covered Outdoor sitting with fans.

The roast pork was delicious rice and the banana. Make you feel like u in Puerto Rico. I will be back

We have passed by EL Guavate de Oto almost every day for as long as we can remember. Always saying to ourselves that we need to stop and check them out as they are always bust, so it must be good, right? Finally, we made ourselves plan a visit. After reading the reviews, it was obvious that we wanted to be there exactly at opening. Highly recommended. Even being the first in line, we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for our order as there had (obviously) been multiple online and call-in orders in queue before us. I usually don't mind the wait, but this one seemed a little extensive. Even saw a couple orders placed after ours that went out before us. Not sure what that was about, unless someone made an error inside and had to make the correction upon discovery. So, not off to a real good start. That means it would take one seriously good serving of food to make up for it. And that's exactly what we got. Food this good is worth the wait. I had Mofongo con Carne Fritas, an Alcapurria and a good ol' Malta India. She had something called Papas Fritas y Loco which was basically french fries with pork, cheese, and an awesome sauce. Enjoyed the meal in the covered seating area. Everything was fresh, and tasty. Just be prepared for the wait.

Really nice place the music is good and the food even better, the service at the food truck it wasn't as good as expected rather than that is a good place to eat and have a fun evening.

Outdoor sitting. Food was fresh. I had mofongo with pulled pork. Pork was tender. Mofongo was moist. My husband had pulled pork with arroz gandules and cassava sticks.

A co-worker bought food from here and it was excellent. The arroz con gandules was the best I had since I moved from PR to FL. I plan to go soon so I can say more but so far all I can talk about is the food I tried.

Great place to get Puerto Rican food. It's a little truck but it has tables and a dinning area. They seem to mostly work on to go orders and pick up orders. The food is great and they have a fairly decent menu. They give you a "beper" to let you know when your order is ready. Overall is a great place to go and eat If it's a hot day you might be a little hot in the dinning area because even though is shaded the heat will probably be hard to deal with. They have their parking past the truck. There is enough space to accommodate a good amount of cars.

My plantains were awesome but the Styrofoam they were served in was practically melted. This causes Styrene to get into the food which is bad for health especially for your regulars. Please use a barrier for hot food in Styrofoam like paper or something, or consider phasing out Styrofoam as it is also bad for the oceans and the gulf.

It genuinely always feels like something is missing without the beans on the plate. This is a minor but significant cultural detail that kept it from being a five-star experience for me. However, the quality of the rest of the meal is so high that this omission is easily overlooked. Rest assured, the lack of beans won’t stop me from going back again and again!

I placed an online order and arrived at the location at the estimated pickup time, only to realize it was never confirmed. When I got there, they told me they hadn’t seen it, and only then did they start preparing it. Many of the items offered online were not available. That part of the service should be improved, but the food was actually very good.

In comparison.to the food in my beautiful Island of Puerto Rico... Specifically Guavate en Cayey… the lechón and arroz con gandules does not make the cut… so far for me the only place that I can compare to that is in Orlando (Lechonera el sazón de mi viejo). The lechon was very dry and no flavor only on the Cuero. The rice was not flavorful. Now with that being said, I enjoyed the Alcapurrias and tostones, So I am looking forward to trying them again for something different, like the mofongo and jibarito before I make my overall assessment of the quality of their food.

Being Puerto Rican , the meals that I ordered- were lacking sabor. I had the pork and my wife had the chicharron de pollo. The portions were probably enough for 2 servings which is good. To be fair, they have plenty more food options which may prove to be delicious.

They did not have any rice and beans. Their pernil was not your typical pernil . To me it was pulled pork and not what I was expecting from this food truck. The mofongo with churaasco was just okay. I wanted to love their food but their food is okay. Nothing I need to have again.

This place have variety of PR. Food they served big portion and look pretty but my rotisserie chicken was cold,hard no taste,and the same with lechon asado.my first and last time .

Good vibe and scenery but the food was average and I would not come here again.
