I'm returning to this hotel after about a year. Honestly, it's still the same, with only a few improvements, especially the rooms and bathrooms, in need of renovation. However, a few days' rejuvenation is possible. The air is healthy at this time of year, the trees are full of chestnuts, and the area is a favorite spot for mushrooms. It's a shame there wasn't a place for October, when the chestnut and porcini mushroom festivals last until early November. The village is quaint, with a large square and a picturesque view. The spa, included, is relaxing. I recommend it.

Although the property appears a bit rundown upon arrival, the amenities and tranquility ensure a relaxing and peaceful stay. The daughters and their mother, the owner, manage everything with great kindness, making guests feel at ease with their helpfulness and never being intrusive. The relaxation in the hydromassage pools is excellent, and the massages provided by their sweet Andrea are excellent! The food is as good as home cooking, and the waiters are very kind and polite. If you're looking for peace, fresh air, and above all tranquility, I recommend it, especially because, apart from a few so-so areas, everything is clean!! Truly absurd, the waiter offered me the forest appetizer and brought me a small plate with sautéed mushrooms and a plate consisting of four lettuce leaves layered for volume, on which were a few slices of prosciutto and two of bresaola, and four pieces of sausage—a lot of aesthetics but little substance. The first course consisted of five ravioli, a beer, and mineral water for the modest sum of €50. I should point out that the sautéed mushrooms were not included in the appetizer but were billed separately (€7) without my having been informed. I will never go back.

Terribile esperienza,doveva essere una week end di relax ma poi si e rivelato tutt'altro. Si dovrebbe chiamare hotel degl incubi, non hotel dei boschi, la struttura è molto trascurata, le camere peggio, la nostra camera aveva una puzza di sporco, il bagno nn si poteva guardare la doccia con muffa è quant'altro, il clima nn funzionante, i termosifoni che ci avevano comunicato che si accendevano in serata, ma nn e mai avvenuto, la tv nn funzionava, non uno specchio, non un appoggio, io per la prima volta in vita mia mi son dovuta addormentare vestita, il mattino successivo volevo fare una doccia, ma neanche quella funzionava, solo acqua fredda. Insomma un vero incubo nn lo consiglio a nessuno.Non vale da 3 stelle, ma 1 stella e pure troppo. CAMERA 16 ORRORE

Personale abbastanza gentile, cibo buono e posto carino ma assolutamente sconsigliato per chi ha cani. Accettano solo cani di piccola taglia al costo di €10 al giorno ma sono assolutamente inospitali con i nostri amici a 4 zampe. Per non parlare della signora Marisa, poco cortese soprattutto quando ce ne siamo andati pur sapendo che siamo stati suoi ospiti per la prima volta.

Abbiamo soggiornato questo fine settimana appena passato se non fosse per la camera decisamente pessima (senza un frigo, ne cassaforte e la chiave per entrare una semplice serratura, non parliamo poi del bagno con la doccia servita da una mandata senza neanche poter alzare il telefono doccia, il bide messo guasi sotto il lavandino, la moquette piena di polvere e sporca) più di una camera sembrava un stanza deposito appena aperta. In compenso il personale sia della reception che del servizio ai tavoli del ristorante sono stati veramente gentili . Peccato per la camera che con maggiore cura l'hotel avrebbe sicuramente meritato di più. Decisamente negativo

We went for lunch on Sunday, October 12th, during the festival. A fixed menu lunch is NOT to be missed. * CURED MEATS APPETIZER: 2 SLICES OF VERY SALTY PROSCIUTTO, 2 SLICES OF COPPA, 4 GREEN OLIVES, AND A HANDFUL OF THE WORST BRAND OF EGGPLANTS * TAGLIATELLE WITH PORCINI MUSHROOMS, MADE WITH MORE THAN A BROTH SAUCE * PORK WITH PORCINI MUSHROOMS (SO TOUGH I ALMOST LOST A TOOTH) NO DESSERT, NO FRUIT FOR THE MODEST PRICE OF €45 PER PERSON The icing on the cake: at 4:00 PM, after we'd finished, we were informed that the shuttle bus that takes the children into the woods to collect chestnuts had stopped running. I don't want to say anything else, just AVOID IT...

Nice restaurant, too bad that in the ravioli I ate there was a 50cm long hat. I pulled it out of my mouth and when I showed it to the waitress she told me it was mine. Since I didn't make the ravioli, I see it as impossible.

Terrible! It's a shame because the staff is very kind. The chef is excellent...but at 4:30 in the morning they woke us up by smashing bottles, and not satisfied, they came back at 5:30 making a huge racket, I think for garbage collection...and then they had the nerve to ask for a €50 deposit for any damages...I absolutely do not recommend it.

Terrible experience. The room cost €120 a night and was in terrible conditions, to say the least. A tangle of wires was exposed, either exposed or taped together. Completely non-compliant and extremely dangerous. How can they operate like this, putting people at risk? Where are the checks? Obviously, what I'm saying is all documented by photos and videos. The bathroom was rusted everywhere, pieces were missing, and fixtures were less than 10 cm apart, so much so that they couldn't even be used. Breakfast included a croissant each at the table, not even covered with a napkin, a basket with a packet of toast, two single-serving jams, one fake Nutella, and that was it. The buffet offered water, juice, and cereal. That's it. I explained everything with photos and videos and asked for at least a slight discount because it wasn't worth the price. The owner, who didn't show up, said over the phone that there were no discounts and didn't even apologize. She could have recognized the problem and at least taken that €20 less as a gesture of courtesy. She didn't get rich with the extra €20, but she made a terrible impression as a businesswoman and as a person. Don't skimp on security by being fooled by fake photos and prices that seem low but turn out to be much higher quality service. Never again.

Unfortunately, my review is limited to the quote request: a phone operator, when I asked for a quote, asked whether I should pay on the premises or in advance for the addition of hot air in the room. "Madam, you need to learn to read!" When I pointed out her total lack of politeness and respect following a simple question, she apologized but continued to repeat that she reads absurd things in Facebook replies and that we are incapable of reading. Even if that were the case and someone had misunderstood the post on social media, I was appalled and I still point out to her that it's unacceptable for her to generalize about customers in this way. In response, she hung up on me and didn't answer my next call. I contacted her on WhatsApp, and after a while, a supposed colleague of hers responded, saying she wasn't aware of what had happened and then asking me what I wanted to know. Obviously I have not stayed there again nor have I responded to this message because if they do not care about being polite towards a person I do not see why I should return the favor. It is a real shame for me to present a cover like that to a customer.

An experience to forget. We arrived and were almost forced to skip the pizza because it took so long. We ordered appetizers and they forgot about us. Despite our reminders, the waiters didn't even bother to stop by our table. We left without dinner.
