When a place gets the Mac n Cheese right they usually follow up with other gems. BoBo's is no different. Don't sell yourself short and skip over this place!

The atmosphere is made up of just a few chairs and small waiting area, I think this may be the only thing I have to say that I'd change. The food was amazing and I'm very surprised this cuisine surpassed my expectations by far. The woman taking my order took it and answered any questions I had without getting annoyed. The food was huge portions of what I had ordered. I REALLY recommend this restaurant if you have a few minutes to spare. I was told the wait was about 20 minutes and when I came back i realized it is because they make your food fresh by order. The man in the back told me to enjoy as he bagged the food, and then off i went. The Mac and cheese and yams are absolutely delicious. I ordered the shrimp dinner which was sauteed with peppers and onions and put on a bed of rice. Everything was absolutely remarkable. Thank you, and I will revisit again.

I CANNOT get enough of those yams. So sweet but still firm, not overcooked. The cabbage is super flavorful, cooked just right. That sauce of the BOBO chicken is DELICIOUS. They are my favorite spot in Rochester!

This place is by far one of the best food spots on the EASTSIDE! I finally tried the steak & shrimp with a double side of yams....OMGOODNESS The food was great but those yams MmmmmMmmmm (my favorite side dish) Kudos to the owner BoBo and congratulations for being around 5 years in ...and many more to come. See you all soon, keep up the fantastic work. Shout out to the entire staff.

The first time we drove out there the place was close for a few weeks. They had a sign but it wasn’t on google. We were sad because we heard great things and drove all the way up there. They don’t answer the phone so you can’t call to see if it’s open but we tried again today, so happy they were open an it was definitely worth the drive! The food portion are HUGE! I hope they never change it lol. The sauce is really good. The macaroni and cheese is okay (I like mines cheesy) but the collar green make up for it! There is a wait time but it’s not bad. I guess it just depends on when you come because we only waited around 20min. They’re black owned and I wish them so much success. I can’t wait to visit them again!

I waited about 1 hr for my food. It was so cold in there becusse it is so small and it's only takeout. They forgot to give me my sauce for my wings on the side. The food was okay I think overly hyped. But.... it was good though. I think the greens were the best

The Last of You

Whenever I google "best wings near me", Bobo's always comes up and the reviews hype all the food from this place to no end. I finally gave it a shot. Ordered a few different meals ahead of time. My order was ready before I even got there to my pleasant surprise. However, the food was only slightly above average though in my opinion. Not blown away at all, certainly did not live up to the hype, but not disappointing. Just simply decent. Wing sauce was delicious though. For the price, I wouldn't go back except maybe for the wings, they were decently priced.
