Great BBQ and live music! Side Eye plays here and it's always a groovy time! The brisket is so good plus fantastic pulled pork and the Dino putine is phenomenal! Great bar and room for live music! They also have a late night menu after 10 pm. The smoked chicken wings are killer!

Dinosaur BBQ’s upstairs private room was perfect for our business dinner. Great service and an excellent spread—brisket, pulled pork, mac & cheese, salad, cornbread, plus cheesecake and a strong beer/wine lineup.

We got the $49 dollar for 2 to 3 ppl. It was more for 3 of us. Food was excellent. Love the cornbread. We are the left over the next day. Food still tasted good.

I love this place! Started coming here when they first came to Rochester. Haven't been here in over 10 years (I live far away). came home for a festival and family. Brought 2 friends from DE with me. We all LOVED it. Meat was so tender and as always... Sauce was delicious! I wish we had one closer. I will have to continue using my Dino BBQ cookbooks. We all ordered the 3 little meats and 2 sides. Mac&cheese, corn, mashed, and fries.

This is a great place for BBQ and delicious sides. We stopped here for dinner toward the end of the evening. We ordered different meals with different sides. All of the portions were generous and provided more than enough to share. Even the kids meals were large - one main and two sides. The pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken wings were great. The sides were all good too - mac and cheese, greens and smoked turkey, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is fun. Be prepared to wait for a table, or make a reservation a few days in advance. There is street parking nearby. They also offer takeout.

Went with a group and split one of the family-style BBQ spreads, plenty of food and everything was delicious. The ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and sides were all solid. It’s a spot I’ve been coming to for years and definitely plan to keep coming back to. The outdoor seating is great when the weather’s nice, and while it’s always busy, the energy is part of the experience. A Rochester staple for a reason.

the food was so good! the portion sizes were great for the cost. the pork belly was definitely the star of the show. the mac & cheese was also delicious! i wish i could order a whole plate of that. we didn’t have a reservation and there was only about a 25 minute wait at prime dinner time on a Saturday night. the staff are all very nice and quick to tend to you!

Party of three seated quickly. Nice atmosphere. Food was good but a little below expectations. Brisket, chicken, mashed potatoes, fries and cornbread all good. Pulled pork and Mac & Cheese dried out.

Stopped by here after a trip to Toronto. Highly recommended by Ledditors and IMO...pretty warranted. Our waitress, a middle aged white lady, was awesome. She was funny and took care of us. Food is pretty kickass, we had the grilled wings with Wango Habernero and Jerk. Sauce on the side which was great. Wings were tender, had a nice light smokey flavor and were big. Cooked very nicely through with decent char. I had the two meat combo plate with St.Louis Ribs and Brisket, Mac n Cheese and Baked Beans as the sides. Ribs were good, they come unsauced which I like. They have a bottle of BBQ sauce at the table which you can use to your liking. The BBQ sauce was great IMO, almost no sweetness with a slightly sour tomatoey vinegary taste which IMO really helps balance out the heavy smokiness of the meats. The brisket, I've had better, more melt in your mouth type. But it wasn't bad. The baked beans were what you'd expect from BBQ beans, sweet and savory, tender soupy beans. What took it up a notch was that they added some jalapenos to it which gave it a slight kick. The Mac n Cheese was AMAZING IMO. I've never had such good Mac n Cheese. It was gooey, had a slight kick and I think what really makes it great is probably the cheese blend they use, it has such a nice tang to it that it really hits that part of your brain that goes "Yeah I'm eating cheese". Most of the Mac n Cheese I've had didn't have that tang. The food wasn't mind blowingly good but it wasn't terrible either. Definitely above average and if given the chance, I'd for sure stop by again. Very solid place for BBQ

I got the combo plate with 3 meats consisting of prime brisket, St. Louis Ribs, and pork belly. Came with corn bread and I chose Mac and cheese and mashed potato with gravy. The prime brisket was a bit dry but other times, it was juicy. The ribs were good. The dry rub and sauce were delicious. The pork belly had some really good pieces and some super dry. Service did take longer than anticipated but I’m pretty sure it was due to them being busy. On this night, we spent only 30 mins waiting for a table but other times I’ve been, I waited up to 1.5 hours for a table so it just depends on the day and time you go!

Food was satisfactory, servers were helpful and accommodating as we had 2 late-comers. They packed all the food to go but gladly re unpacked for the latecomers. Ambience was right for the bbq setting. The view of the bridge and sunset from where we were sat were photo worthy.

This came highly recommended to us and I really liked the restaurant. Great building, atmosphere, etc. Loved the decor, especially the Dino band wall thing. Service was a bit slowe, especially since it wasn't busy at the time but I think our table on the stage was far from the waitress' section. Food had great portions and the price was very reasonable. The food itself... it was good but a little over-rated. The whipped sweet potatoes didn't hit the spot with their lack of sweetness and the cornbread didn't have that flavorful melt-in-your-mouth I enjoy. The bbq sauce, brisket and pork belly were good but not great. Overall, good place to eat, just wasn't up to the hype.
