Lanai has excellent food and fantastic service! The bartender has been very kind each time I have been here. Additionally, the food is very tasty, and vegan options are available.

With such a small crowd on a Friday night, I wasn't sure what to expect from Lanai. Friends and I headed to Lanai to get some dinner and so headed upstairs where the dining area is. If you're in the mood for drinks and a small menu you can check out the bar on the main floor.

We shared the Pineapple Fried Rice, Kimchi Rangoons and Tempeh Potstickers. They even have a separate vegetarian menu, which I always appreciate. The restaurant was practically empty at prime time on a Friday night, so they definitely have some untapped potential!

Underrated place that you should definitely stop by the next time you're around. They have great frozen drinks and at an awesome price. Don't forget to say hi to their sweet bouncer!

Excellent food. Unique and delicious. The dumplings were great, but came a tad burnt, so something to be aware of...still really delicious!

THE MOST THOUGHTFUL SERVICE 💕 I met a small group for lunch with my 2 year old and I am so grateful and impressed by the service we received. The rest of our party was already seated upon arrival, so one of the staff members caught me on the way upstairs with my toddler and asked if I'd like to order some coffee (YES PLEASE, MAMA NEEDS IT!). Once we got settled, and upon delivering a delicious seasonal latte, he asked if I'd like to put in an order of eggs for my toddler why we wait. PURE BRILLIANCE. Beyond the spectacularly thoughtful service, I cleaned my plate of stuffed pancakes which I'd highly recommend. Thank you for making us feel so welcome 🤗

We had a brunch reservation and sat up in the loft area. Great service and atmosphere. It's not cramped or too loud. The Irish Goodbye was good, and the Stuffed Cakes and Berries was fantastic. There is Street parking or lot parking validation available.

The vibe is so welcoming and inviting! Bright lighting and even the bathrooms are nice! The bartender and manager(I assume) were great and held conversation while we ate at the bar. HIGHLY recommend the Burken Bagel, the onion jam was amazing!

We had a fantastic experience here from start to finish. I made a reservation online (they do require a credit card to hold the spot), and I’m so glad we did. The vibe is relaxed yet elevated, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. The menu isn’t overwhelmingly large, which I actually loved—it’s thoughtfully curated, and everything we tried was delicious. They serve both breakfast and lunch, and the best part? You can order lunch items even during breakfast hours. Big win! My husband went with the chef’s choice and was blown away by the flavors. They really take allergies and preferences seriously—just let them know, and they’ll tailor the dish accordingly. The drinks were another highlight—creative, flavorful, and definitely boozy in the best way. They did have a few mocktails options if you’re looking for something non-alcoholic. Bonus points for validating parking—such a nice touch that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot whether you’re a true local or just passing through. It’s worth the stop!

The Brisketacular is hands down, without a doubt, the greatest sandwich I have ever tasted. By a lot. We found this as a quick google search for restaurants near me, and it should be the first result if you are in Rochester. An absolute delight.

One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. They actually load it up and don’t skimp which is what I love. You get your moneys worth. Friendly fast service. Seating near the door gets a bit chilly in the winter and with cocktails it would be nice if on Thursdays and Fridays they stayed open until 6 or 7pm for after work drinks, but besides that this place is great. I’m eager to try out their other options and will definitely be getting this wrap again. Love that they have clean accountable ingredients when trying for macro goals, potato, egg, cheese and wrap. Good stuff.

I am SOOOO glad we went here!! The atmosphere was great and the food was even better. I did not expect the portions to be that huge!!! I ordered the avocado toast option and it was amazing O M G and a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were out of this world!!!!!! New go to breakfast place. Parking was good as well! And the time of day we went was Tuesday morning so it was a bit slower and felt more relaxing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've only been here once but it was a very positive experience. We went on a random weekday night, so there were only a few tables besides us. They have tables on both floors and a full bar on the first floor. Decor is adorable. Bright and clean looking. Someone greeted us as soon as we walked in. They had an entire vegan menu for myself, and a regular menu for my friend. I ordered the tofu bulgogi and a margarita. The margarita was ok. But the food was absolutely delicious. The sauce on the tofu had so much flavor and was just the right amount of spicy. My friend ordered the chicken version of my dish and he also enjoyed it thoroughly. The server was attentive and nice. I look forward to coming back and trying more from the vegan menu!

I was skeptical when my sister first recommended this place for a party but it was really good! Food was cooked well, tasty, and the place was clean. We got there early and got a table right away!

The food was exceptional! We live in NYC and we can tell that it’s hard to find such a good breakfast there. We ordered a breakfast burrito and apple-stuffed pancakes with berries. Highly recommend both! It was a bummer that service was slow yet attentive. And one more thing: it is a very loud place. You have to speak super loud to be able to hear each other across the table if you are seated inside.

My wife & I met a friend here for brunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The food & drinks were delicious- we tried multiple items on the menu. My reason for 4 stars is the acoustics. The sound carries when you eat upstairs, making it difficult to hear, especially when it's busy (which it was a Saturday). If you are looking for an Instagram worthy place with amazing service, this is a great place to visit.

Restaurant is cozy and nice. Food and service were good but expensive in my opinion. 2 adults 1 child we paid over $100. Maybe it’s the area we were in. We were just passing through so could be normal. Probably won’t be back because of prices.

This was an excellent brunch. It was our first time here and we will surely return. The breakfast shot and the mimosa flights were excellent. The food was also delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. Definitely make a reservation. Update: We returned and again had great food. We tried the chef's choice and they did a great job. We had a 10:30 reservation and while the website does say that reservations are for 1 hour and 15 minutes, it was disappointing to be told at 11:35 that they would need the table soon. We spent about $150 on brunch, and I'll definitely remember the time limit when considering a brunch location in the future.

Went for brunch with a friend, it’s a very cute place. Menu is moderate-small, the food didn’t blow me away but it was good so I would go again. The prices are a bit on the high end so I can see how things could add up. We both got different flavored mimosas (peach & mango) but they both tasted like standard mimosas. It’s hard to find a flavored mimosa that actually tastes different, but nonetheless they were good. My friend got the Louis V and she said that it tasted pretty good (it’s what she normally gets). I got the grilled chicken quesadilla and that was really good, pretty big portion size. The avocado and spinach inside were really tasty. They do charge like a 3 almost 4% fee if you use a credit card. You can get around that by paying in cash (once you get your receipt go to the cash register to pay). Overall with the mimosa and quesadilla I paid around $30. There’s a sizable paid parking lot right next to their building. With a purchase inside they will validate your parking for you :)

I went here for brunch with some friends. We made reservations and the online reservation system took a credit card and stated they would charge you $15 per person if you didn't attend the reservation or cancel writhing 24 hours. We ended up making reservations anyways. I thought this was weird bc they allow walk ins and it was very busy when we went (Sunday at 11:15am). We got the biggie fries which were so good. I also got the buff chicken nachos and they were good, a lot and could be an appetizer and shared. I loved the BBKing drink. My friends for a cider mimosa which they enjoyed. The rest of the food was good too. We will go back.

Locals only is a fun small breakfast spot to check out. Their menu is small, but they also offer “chef special” where they will make you something random. My wife and I ordered specialty coffee, pretzel flight, two entrees, and a dessert. Everything came out fast, and our server was great. Food was good, it wasn’t anything special. Hash browns were really good, but everything else was just okay and very greasy. Would definitely go again though.

I loved the vibe, look and feel of the place. I was disappointed that it took more than an hour to get our drinks and shareable. It took so long we had to take our lunch to go. The restaurant did not seem busy I think that’s just how they roll which would have been fine if we didn’t have plans after. I was impressed with the drinks. They were a unique and fun recipe and packed an appropriate punch. The shareable fries were incredible and were a better value than the lunch pieces in terms of portions. I would go back! It is quite pricey. Our lunch was around $90 after tip.

We had breakfast here. It wasn’t busy but service was quite slow. My coffee was good but my husband’s was no longer hot by the time it arrived. The fried cauliflower bites were the tastiest thing we had there, but could do with better plating as the avocado was just buried under the cauliflower. The fries with brisket & eggs (prepared well) was also quite tasty but lacked flavor & seasoning. The biggest letdown was the egg burrito. Very very bland. Prices were quite high, but portions were big. Nice that they helped pay for parking, but some strange administrative fee on the bill. Not sure we’d come back but glad we tried it.

This place was far below my expectations. My girlfriend made a comment that the inside was the equivalent of a Hawaiian IHOB. The food wasn't much better. We ordered a few different dishes. First was the poke that just tasted like pure soy sauce, we then received the kim cheese fries which tasted like vomit and and order of pork gyoza which my girlfriend said were to doughy. Then we had some manapuas that were okay but I would never order again. We finished dinner with the bahn mi sliders which were the best thing we ordered but that's not saying much at all, nothing about them seemed to go together with how they were built. Overall I would avoid this place, I see people say they have good drinks but my girlfriends old fashioned came with muddled cherries and tasted of nothing but whiskey, I suppose that is good if you are a young adult trying to get wasted.

Pretty underwhelming. I paid 17 dollars for ONE piece of toast, no sides, which is wild. The avocado toast is Ok at best. The service was meh. If you want good avocado toast I would just go to melo, it’s down the street and more bang for your buck.

Had late breakfast here over the last weekend. Food was slightly below average, but grossly over priced. $23 for a breakfast burrito that had eggs and sausage inside, with no sides. Wait staff was good, but drink staff was a little off. Delivered drinks to our table we didn't order, and when we arrived the bar attendant asked if we had a reservation, when we said no he said he didn't think they could take us but he would check. This was odd as the place was empty with many tables open. Atmosphere was ok, but a little pretentious.
