We visited Michaels valley grill a couple weeks ago. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed happy hour prices on drinks. Then ordered dinner and I got the pork chop. It was absolutely amazing. It was a very thick pork chop but cooked perfectly and had a light Asian glaze on it. Service was also very good as it usually is there. Highly recommend MVG.

Thank you for a fabulous experience! The food, service and ambiance were perfect for a snowy Thursday evening. We loved everything we ordered from the cosmos, onion rings, bang bang shrimp, green & beans, and shrimp Alfredo with mushrooms! The coffee creme brûlée with whipped cream was the perfect ending. Looking forward to our next visit.

I came here with my husband and mother-in-law with a 7:30pm dinner reservation. We arrived 5 minutes early and were seated right away. Every staff person was attentive, professional, and kind. We ordered an appetizer of arancinis, which were delicious! My dinner of shrimp and rice in a lemon sauce was amazing! Our shared desserts of creme brulee and homemade cherry amaretto ice cream were amazing! The Chef even came out to every table to check in on every table, very impressive and appreciated! I highly recommend this place!

From the outside the restaurant doesn't look like anything special but once you enter, well let's just say well done, upscale but not fussy, and very relaxing. The Waite staff is excellent, and we were a table of 4, that had to make a reservation change 4 times! Very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meal and good portions. My daughter and I shared a dessert, yummy. See photos

From the outside of the building and it’s location, I would have never have gone to this place had it not been a recommendation. I am so glad we did! The food was delicious! The executive chef came out two times to speak to tables and ask how their meals were which was nice. Definitely will be back!

The food was wonderful, the staff was very friendly and it was clean and cheery! We ordered ribs, scallops, chicken French and the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer. Everything was so tasty. We can't wait to visit again!

Walked in and my first thought was "this place looks like Marshalls threw up on it"... Then I saw the price tags on the decor. Maybe I just don't appreciate art like that. Otherwise food was a little pricey for me but good and service was good too, Bringing out each dish and drink one at a time was a little weird but everyone was so nice and we didn't wait too long.

Arrived a few minutes early for our reservation and was seated immediately. We shared the charred calamari with diced tomatoes which was very tasty. Our salads were the beer and Caesar salad. Both prepared and displayed nicely. Main course was scallops and the cowboy bone in ribeye. Excellent flavors ... for dessert we shared the homemade gelato. These were amazing. We had a scoop of coconut and mint chocolate chip... great service. Place is well lit. Would go again and would recommend.

This is one of the more.. interesting restaurants I've been to in New York. To start, the wait for the food wasn't long at all which I appreciate. However, once we got our food, our waitress never came back. No follow-up on the food, dissapointing. Two colleagues were with me. I ordered the Chicken French, they ordered the NY Strip and the Ribeye. The Chicken French was served hot with a luxury sauce with a hint of lemon, and a side of mashed potatoes. Overall, one of the best Chicken French I've had. The NY Strip was served hot on a bed of mashed potatoes. There was supposed to be green beans but there were only 3 or 4. The Strip was somehow both charred and undercooked at the same time. The mashed potatoes died in the window. The Ribeye was served cold on a bed of mashed potatoes. There was a single green bean. The Ribeye and the mashed potatoes died in the window. Overall, it was an okay experience. 1$ tip and the waitress should probably find a new line of work. The saving grace was the atmosphere, of which it looked like an art gallery. I feel bad for whoever dry-walled the ceiling though, because they put support beams directly under a curved skylight of sort. I only reccomend this restaurant for the Chicken French & Shirley Temple.

I love food. I am more than willing to pay for great food. I was definitely expecting more for the price though. For appetizers I order chard squid $17 and lamb lollipop $22. Both were good, lamb a little over done. For my entrée I ordered the bone in ribeye MP. I don't ask price when ordering. I just want to enjoy my food. Prepared medium rare (warm red center) always. With just salt and pepper. 1st time out, it was medium medium well (very little pink and juicy) . So had it remade... 2nd time out medium medium rare (mostly pink very little red) so disappointing. Did not go for a 3rd. I had 2 bites that were medium rare. Possibly because i was alone, water refill... unless you're a big party, good luck. I ask for check $110 for 1 person. $62 for steak cooked wrong 2 times. Still tip $15. Food wasn't servers fault

Recently my wife and I, along with two friends, visited the restaurant. It was the first visit for all of us and was the result of recommendations from friends and business associates. It was a disappointment to the extent that the consensus was that we will not return. The food was acceptable, but only 6/10—less than what we expected. The service was bad, and that is a key factor in this rating and the reason not to return because apparently, management is not training servers or monitoring their performance. Any of the following would be grounds for criticizing the server: rattling off the specials so fast that none of us could tell where the appetizers ended and entrees began let alone remember the details. We had a long wait between ordering drinks and hearing the specials. There was no checking back to see if we were satisfied with our selections and we had to ask him for a bread refill for our table, and there was never an offer to provide a coffee warmup. Also, I value a server that tells customers the price of market-priced items on the menu, this person did not and frankly the market-priced items that two of us ordered were not commensurate with the pricing. And the server never showed any sign that he appreciated our patronage at the restaurant. Huge disappointment. We’ll spend our entertainment dollars at local restaurants with better food, service and a greater appreciation for our business.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and didn’t have a great experience. I will not be back. Food was alright, expensive and not over the top good. What ruined my experience was being kicked out of my table due to another reservation coming in. Instead of the host offering my friend and I a drink at the bar, or even telling us when we sat down we needed to be out by a certain time, he came over and started clearing our table stating we needed to leave since they needed the table. Then our server started bringing another table over to combine with ours for the larger party. We clearly got the hint and saw ourselves out of the establishment. As paying customers it would have been nice to have another place for us to keep enjoying our night but instead we felt unwelcomed and ended up going to another local restaurant to continue our conversation. This place is unwelcoming and just wants your money.
