I've been here through word of mouth from friends... what can I say? It's now my favorite place. My girlfriend and I feel right at home. Giangi (the owner) offers impeccable cuisine. The young chefs use top-quality ingredients and always strive for new and innovative dishes. The location is simple but warm and welcoming. The wines are excellent. A truly spectacular trattoria, just a stone's throw from Milan, that never fails to amaze with its expertly reinterpreted traditional dishes and more modern twists. The restaurant has a delightful retro atmosphere, perfectly in tune with the cuisine's identity: authentic yet creative. The dishes are truly well executed, both the simplest and the most unusual, with intelligent and always balanced combinations. Among those I absolutely recommend are the braised cheek, roasted octopus, donkey ragù, and the fun pane ban. Also not to be missed are the parmigiana dripping and the octopus with pistachio and stracciatella, two examples of how tradition can be tastefully reinterpreted. But the real star of our dinner was the spaghetti with burrata and cherry tomatoes: a spectacular dish, seemingly simple but bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced, and surprisingly intense. A true gem. The service was quick, friendly, and very attentive, with polite and friendly staff who contributed to making the experience even more enjoyable. The price is slightly above average, but absolutely justified by the quality and originality of the offerings. Even though it's not exactly close to Varese, we'll be back!! #challenged #wellbengcoach
