Great McDonalds with friendly staff; food is the exact same one you'll get in any other McDonald's, but my orders were prepared very quickly and the restaurant is just in front of the beach.

I want to commend the staff at this location. I placed an online order for breakfast and when I showed up the app showed the order had been canceled. I explained the situation and the staff was able to resolve the issue and did it with a smile! Amazing service!! I didn’t get her name, but it was a friendly African-American woman at the front counter who was handling the breakfast rush like a champ. She turned a bad situation into a return customer!
Despite the bad reviews, I find this McDonalds to be one of the best in Austin, is my go-to because it's really close to my place but I really like it here, service is fast, there's not a lot of people and it has never disappointed me (actually once, but not because of them, I was trying something new rather than my regular order). Now that I moved out I'm gonna miss this location but I totally recommend it.
Place is super busy with people who aren't looking out and or listening for their orders. I waited and watch Daniela handle the pressure and crowd well. Great work Thank you and God bless 🙏
The employees at this McDonald’s are the nicest McDonald’s employees I’ve ever met! I’m currently collecting the Lil McDonald's Happy Meal toys for fun and every time I’ve been to this location the employees are so helpful and kind about my request to know what numbered toys they currently have. The Lil McDonald's toys each have a number printed on the bottom of their box which helps differentiate them. They’ve helped me get 5 out of the 21 toys in the two times I’ve visited. I really appreciate it so much because I know they don’t have to help me but it’s awesome that they do and are so nice about it. Also, I’ve eaten at this location before and the food is always hot and fresh. The lobby is really massive too. Bigger than most locations so there’s plenty of places to eat! Thanks again. Y’all are the best!
I dined in for the infamous Big Breakfast w/ hotcakes IYKYK and ordered via the touchscreen kiosk by the counter. I took a table number for my order (which I usually don’t like doing because they’re sometimes greasy but this one wasn’t bad at all) I went to the restroom to wash up while I waited for my food and there was soap and paper towels available which was reassuring. The atmosphere was chill, and the tables were all clean. Granted it was 9:30am. But hey credit where credit is due. I probably only waited 5 minutes and this charming employee brought my food to me and even added a water cup which I didn’t order. Wow! She probably recognized me JK!! I thought that was so sincere and good faith. Deserves 5 stars for sure. I wish I got her name. The food was fantastic I enjoyed every bite. Obviously I could have used more syrup but I won’t count that against them since I generally drown my breakfast anywhere I go. Lots of MD locations but this is the W spot. I’ll be back!

I go here at least once a week it is so food I wouldn't recommend going on a week day at lunchtime because it is right next to Mccallum high school so it gets really busy but the food is amazing …

It is a beautiful restaurant suitable for families and children, and the service is often excellent, but I would like the McDonald's chain of restaurants to provide meals that suit Muslims, as there are only very few types (only fish fillet meal) that suit Muslim law, for example, all kinds of pastries and sweets do not suit what Muslims eat it according to their law

It’s probably a 3.5 star McDonald’s. I used kiosk to order my meal and put a number for dining-in. I am comfortable to take my meal, but people in counter mentioned that they don’t know where I am. My number sign was put in front of the desk nearby. Other than this event, my experience was great.
I know it's just a McDonald's, but not all are created the same. The food is consistently fresh, the staff polite and quick and the interior is modern and clean. The one improvement would be for their drink machines to dispense water. They will give you a water, but if you want a refill you have to go to the counter. Full disclosure, this is in a bit of avagrant party of town, so maybe they took out the water because of the homeless abiding it.
Check you bag before you leave! Odds are they forgot something. fries be piping hot almost every time though. Gotta give them that!
A number of items missing from the bags when we got back to the car. Screens show ads not order numbers so is very random, nobody clearing up so bins were overflowing and the floors littered Fries we're undercooked and literally cold, which is hard on a 38C day!
Dirty! The food was okay, nothing special – typical McDonald's. However, the cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. No matter where you looked, everything was dirty – the restrooms, the counter, the dining area. There were visible layers of grime in some spots that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was honestly disgusting and made the whole experience very unpleasant. Definitely not a place I’d want to eat at again.

So, I was having lunch today in this McD, burger and 1 happy meal with a book i chose as a toy. I know it's a hi-season so kinda busy days for businesses in tourism spots. But I didn't see very long queue like normal McDs in many other countries. But... the waitress didn't check correctly my orders. I got only 1 coke from 2 I ordered. Back to the waitress and took some minutes to wait for another coke. And, instead of a book i wanted, they gave me another toy. So I went back to the same waitress and I asked that she has a book I ordered, and she said she has it. I waited some few mnts until she gave it to me. They didn't give a mango dessert from the pack of my happymeal. Kinda exhausted and too much effort to go back to the waiter again for the 3rd time for a mango.
I would normally say that this is generally a great McDonald’s, even if they’re swamped, they’re decently fast. However, today, being a busy time, I saw a young man go up to the counter to order (normal right? Cause not everyone wants to use a kiosk..) and the manager went to ask him what order he was waiting for and he said that he wanted to order. She said “You can use the kiosk to do that.” And shooed him off. Now, I’ve been in various customer service jobs and that it not professional, even if you’re busy (it’s one person and I think he only ordered a drink anyway that he cannot get himself because there’s no customer fountains). To shoo him off? That’s not a way you should deal with ANYONE. Another manager there had been taking orders of those who came to the counter, you can too.

This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever been in. I don’t think that policy of McDonalds allow its restaurants to be in such a mess. They don’t have “hidroalcoholic gel” and any COVID-19 restrictions. Only gloves and I don’t know what they are for. Very disappointed. We ordered ice cream with nuts and they didn’t put them. In the happy meal they forgot to put juice.

Went back, staff told me they replaced the coffeemaker machine recently, taste was abhorrently bad, even with a double shot of espresso, it's was still not drinkable.Good luck with that...! Less than a 1 star review is impossible. — Disappointing Experience Despite Good Coffee Positives first: the coffee here is genuinely good, and the ice creams are just as you’d hope. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Waiting times are wildly inconsistent — sometimes quick, sometimes painfully long — and it doesn’t seem to depend on how busy the place is. The staff, mostly Gen Z, give off the vacant “stare right through you” look, and the customer service is poor. Around half the electronic ordering machines are usually out of order or have no paper for receipts. Orders frequently arrive with missing items or food that looks poorly cooked and nothing like the glossy images on the digital boards. Cleanliness is a major issue. Previous reviews mention the poor hygiene, and they’re right: uncleared tables, filthy floors, overflowing bins, and toilets that feel like a health hazard. The layout is also a mess — entrance, waiting area, order collection point, and self-service machines are all crammed into the same space, so you have to battle through the crowd just to get in. I used to pop in just for coffee and ice cream, but after my last visit — 35 minutes’ wait at a non-busy time, plus more of the same customer service issues — I’ve decided to go elsewhere. I can already imagine the standard reply: “Thank you for your feedback, it will help us improve.” Well, there’s a lot of improvement needed before I’ll be back.

Terrible!!! I ordered from the machine and paid at 18:26 (It say's on the receipt) I went to the empty counter to collect my order, I was order 011, the screen was saying order 096 was ready, the restaurant was empty.... Staff were visible in the background, one girl came back from her cigarette break, one scruffy guy looked to be preparing food, and a tall guy and another girl were also luring around, no one said anything to me, no one acknowledged I was waiting..... A burger for order 012 arrived and sat on the tray in front of me getting cold. by 18:36 no-one had appeared to be doing anything, I ask a girl if my order had gone through okay, she shrugged her shoulders. Another girl slowly moved around and looked very surprised that I wanted to know where my order was.... Finally at 18:42 my simple order of a cheeseburger, small fries and a drink arrived. At this time order 012 came to ask where her food was, I told her it had been there 10 minutes and was probably cold. I questioned why my order took so long, and was told the chips needed to heat up. I went and sat at a table, ate a chip, and it was barely warm! I went back and complained, they all looked surprised again and the tall (I think manager man) prepared me some more chips, I suggested that they read the questions for the survey that is mentioned on the receipt as they may learn something from it. McDonalds in Figueres near Decathlon is definitely a better choice if you really want a McDonalds

We waited outside to place a takeout order, but no one answered. It wasn't busy. The service was very unfriendly. I do not recommend it.
Horrible customer service. On 12/25, the mobile app was taking orders at 8-9pm, but when we arrived there was a huge line. The lights were on, but nobody was inside. We decided to pick it up from the counter instead, assuming it was just really busy, but when me and another woman went to the front door it was locked. The lights were on, so again, we were confused. I drove around to realize there were absolutely no workers in the building, yet the fact that the lights were on was giving people false hope that it was open. It also said the store was open on the app. By then, I couldn't refund my mobile order so we just decided to leave. I had to personally signal to the car at the front of the line that there was nobody there before everyone started leaving. It's been days since then, and my mother still hasn't received a refund. She called the store yesterday and they told her to call the next day and talk to a manager, so she did. Today, she tried to explain to the manager what happened and was asking for a refund, but then she just started yelling at her saying they were closed. We were aware of that, thats why we didn't get food🙄 She kept cutting her off saying that she was probably calling the wrong store because they were closed, so we confirmed it was indeed this store. She insisted we come to the store and show her ourselves, but we don't live in Austin. We're definitely not going back that way after that experience. So finally she said to wait a few days for the bank to drop the charge and hung up. The manager was so disrespectful and she did not have to handle it the way she did. She made us feel crazy because of something MULTIPLE people experienced on the same night. She toild us that it wasn't her problem there was a big line because "we were closed." She couldn't be any more wrong, because it absolutely is your problem. You and whoever was at the store that day decided to be careless and leave the lights on, which caused multiple people to believe you were open during the night. It's ridiculous, the lack of sympathy for the situation is so unprofessional. I saw a literal father and his son try to walk in because they thought it was open, but they couldn't because everything was locked. Do you know how many Christmas' you probably ruined that night? A lot, all because your workers left the lights on. It's ridiculous.
Restaurant was receiving orders on 12/25 through app but was closed on arrival and app charged my card anyway. Clear cut fraud. Was told I needed to ask for a refund at the restaurant. What a clown show. Do not use. Other chains are not dishonest.
Whoever worked on Christmas Eve from 9-11pm was not taking orders and locked the doors. Completely ignoring calls and everyone at drive thru. We ordered online too we just got scammed
They removed my comment after 2 days . I ordered threw the mobile app they made me wait 30 min curbside when I went in they said mobile ording was down . I showed my receipt asked if i could get my food or refund they told me that is not there problem 48hrs later they processed the 12 dollars from my bank. The owner reponded very fast with a link to a page that doesnt exist. Ive sent multiple emails to mcdonalds feedback not getting a responce this seems this will be the hardest 12 bucks ever taken trying to recover this is ridiculous . Customer service doest exist in this location and to the owner i have coppied this and I will repost for every time you delete it i will do it every day for multiple years until i get returned what was stolen from me , also I will escilate this.
