IM JUST GOING TO SAY miguel is the best server i’ve ever had in a LONG LONG TIME! I had a party of 16 for my boyfriend’s birthday and we were handled perfectly. He always checked on us constantly the food came out hot and fresh and drinks were nice and cold !!! Miguel we love you and will be coming back soon !!!

Incredible authentic cuisine and beverages, front of the house class, relaxed atmosphere during the day. There were customers meeting with business clients and a fellow working on his laptop, all happy to be there, so this is good business meeting space. It was quiet and not noisy at all. Plus indoor/outdoor seating makes it very spacious for social distancing and privacy. This is the classier option [vs noisy and overcrowded coffee shop] for business amd social gathering. If you dont want lively nightlife interrupting your ambiance, go before 8pm or not during wknd events. The food is outstanding! Art decor on point, the artistry is truly unique and executed magnificently. Dropped by mid afternoon while getting my tires fixed. Great conversation with one of the partners and the bartender was on point with recommendations for food/drink. The employees seemed really happy to be there offering excellent friendly service. This place takes pride in what they do. Go see for yourself, your belly will be happy you did!

This place is a gem hidden between Austin and Round Rock, right off I35. We had a very pleasant experience at Besos Cocina and Cantina. The best tacos de Birria I ever had!! And those charro beans were tasty enough to be eaten by themselves. The Al Pastor street tacos were sensational as well. We also ordered the sopapillas and the churros for dessert and they were tasty, y'all!! The owners were always walking around making sure we were happy and did not need anything. Our family of 5, three teens me and my husband, was happy and satisfied. Another cool thing about this place is they have a very cool patio with lots of tables, some couches and misting fans all over, (essential during the Texas Summer!)

Our first time at Besos was a great experience. The guacamole had such great depth of flavor. The chicken nachos are made individually so you get all the goodness in each bite. I loved the pozole soup. Additionally, the service was excellent! We will be back for sure.

My fiance went here with her sister a month ago and has been talking about how good the food was and that happy hour was poppin so we decided to check it out together after a day of home depot and bed, bath, and beyond (yes there was enough time). It was 4pm on a Sunday and not crowded at all, no surprise given the weird time. We split a queso and an order of birria tacos. We asked if it was happy hour and our waitress said no but they had $5 margaritas so you already know, we each got one. They were really good and not your standard frozen mix either. The birria was the best I've ever had. The meat and cheese was great and then with birria dip, perfect! The queso was good but not great but the salsa was fantastic. There was also a nice fun vibe at the restaurant and it feels way more authentic in terms of mexican food than anywhere else in round rock. We'll definitely be back for happy hour on a weekday and I'll prob do a Margarita rim with half tajin and half salt and pass on queso but otherwise, I may order the exact same thing.

As a pancake snob, I was very impressed by the taste of the pancakes at Besos. They are fluffy and filling. I also had a chicken quesadilla and there was plenty of chicken in it. Last week we tried this restaurant as it was on our wishlist for a long time and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It was very good. We just had water for drinks. For appetizer they brought chips and salsa. It was really good. Then for mains my husband had the Chicken Monterrey and I had the vegetarian fajitas. Both comes with tortillas. I had flour and my husband had corn tortillas. It was yummy. The fajitas come with rice, black beans and guac. I also asked for a side of sourcream. It’s really yummy. The only issue was that they have some miscommunication in the back and they keep mixing up orders. Otherwise it’s all good. Our waiter was really nice and he caught it early and made sure our order came well.

Have been twice now and the food & drinks are delicious! I tried to lunch enchiladas the first time around and tonight got the mixed fajitas. Old fashions are only $7. There's a dozen different margarita options as well as plenty of cold beer at the very large u-shaped bar! I also think they're roasted salsa is one of the best in town. So good that we had to request a second bowl 🤣 Service by Nina the first time and Phaleb the second time was top notch! For those looking for extra rooms for private parties the covered space outside looks to be big enough to hold 60 plus people.

I’m going to be honest. I had been to Besos a couple of years ago when the old management was running things, so I was very hesitant to bring my family here for dinner. But this visit completely changed my mind. The food was 5 out of 5 and I honestly wasn’t expecting that. I ordered the tacos al carbón with carne asada and they were excellent. I’m picky with meat, but this was tender, easy to chew, and the flavor was on point. My sister-in-law ordered the steak medium well, and her exact words were: “This is probably the best steak I’ve ever had.” That’s pretty unheard of at a Mexican restaurant. My husband got the tacos dorados de papa, and they served them with a cup of fideo. At first I thought “what the heck?” but after tasting it, it was perfect for that rainy day. It reminded me of my mom’s fideo and took me back to when I was little. My dad ordered the shrimp cocktail, and that was also delicious and very familiar in flavor. The staff was also great — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, this visit really impressed me. The food was comforting, flavorful, and far better than I expected. ⭐ Highly recommend.

Kiss the old Besos goodbye. I had the privilege of attending the ribbon cutting for Besos Cocina and Cantina as an ambassador for the Round Rock Chamber, and what I saw was not a facelift. It was a fresh start. The renovation and expanded covered outdoor seating create the kind of space where families linger, laugh, and order one more round of chips and salsa without feeling rushed. They brought in a new Executive Chef, and you can taste the difference. The recipes feel thoughtful, refined, and intentional. This team has a clear focus. They want to be the best Mexican and Tex Mex family restaurant in the North Austin and Round Rock area, and they are making decisions that support that goal. I was especially excited to hear they serve breakfast all day. Yes, all day. Including conchas. That alone makes this place worth a return visit. Add in specials with free kids meals, and you have a restaurant that understands how families actually make dining decisions. This is not just a remodel. This is a repositioning. And if you have not been back lately, now is the time.

First time at Beso’s and it was great! Restaurant is very clean, very inviting and has a fun and welcoming vibe! Can easily accommodate larger group table setup. Service (Bryan, from Columbia) was outstanding! Very detailed, very personable and everything came exactly as ordered! Food was very good, a generous portion and plated well! Such a great and friendly staff ~ this place cares about customer service and delivering a great experience! It is hidden in the center of the complex ~ near Target and Best Buy off of I-35 & Louis Henna ~ so I was happy to be invited and find it! This is the 2nd time I come here and the food is amazing. Was not expecting my chicken flautas to come with fideo and it was the BEST surprise ever. Wish they gave more of the sour cream on the flautas but the taste was still good. Had a flight of margaritas too but felt they were a little too sweet.

We arrived before 5:00 and there was plenty of seating. We ordered the queso & chips, the beef fajita parrillada for 2, & margaritas. The queso was hot and tasty. The beef fajitas were somewhat overdone for our taste. We liked that it included 2 large grilled jalapeños, onions, & red peppers. It also came with beans but they lacked flavor. The rice had great flavor and there was plenty of guacamole. The parrillada is a little pricey. The margaritas were delicious! We plan on coming again but I don’t think we’ll order the fajitas again. I think we’ll try the Birria tacos. Our server Roger was attentive and friendly.

Party of 8 , they told us it was going to take about 25 mins to get seated , it took almost 50 minutes to get seated . As soon as we get seated they said our server will be right with us , but it took like 30mins for someone(servers) to even acknowledge us , we had to ask who our server was going to be because nobody came over to our table . The guy who attended us who ended up being our server was awesome , great customer service very attentive & fast . Food was great , i just don't think they have very good communication between the hosts & servers . Too long for us to get service.

The venue looks great, drinks and food are delicious. Service was good and appropriate for a Friday night crowd. Inside it can get a little loud and overwhelming with the chatter of all the diners but the outside area is nice even with the live music still not as loud as inside. Would definitely recommend though.

Always in search for good Mexican food. First let’s start with service, although it started slow they really stepped it up during the meal and did a great job. They accommodate large parties. They have a varied drink menu, their frozen and on the rocks margaritas hit the spot. Tried their street tacos, which were truly great, the fajita beef was flavorful and the tortillas were cooked to perfection and didn’t fall apart. To complete the dish you get some charro beans that were so tasty. Also had the verde enchiladas, which were a little spicy but tasted great. Great food, great drinks!!!

My daughter and myself came here for my birthday. We came about 5 p.m. during the middle of the week, so there wasn't that many people in there. We were seated immediately. I immediately loved the whole vibe of the place (the colors and decorations was very pleasing). The service and the food was great. I can't wait to come back.

My cousins and I stopped in on a Sunday evening, it was pretty empty. The was a large party on the patio. Staff were amazing - super friendly and attentive! We all ordered different alcoholic drinks which were delicious. We tried a cucumber margarita, skinny margarita & coco skinny margarita. Also tried a margarita flight which included 4 good size margaritas. Flavors were sangria, mango 🥭 strawberry 🍓 & watermelon. Watermelon was the favorite 🍉 We ordered pozole, which came in a huge bowl full of flavor. Also ordered the carnes asada, which was a thick slab of meat. A little thick & over cooked for my liking. It was more of a well done steak. It came with rice, charro beans, quac, sour cream & pico. Which were typical Tex-Mex flavors. Will return on a Friday or Saturday night when the ambience is a little more lively. Other than that the place is cute and up and coming. Very Instagramable!

Pesos Cocina and Cantina did an excellent job seating a Volleyball team and parents on a Saturday afternoon. 12 girls, plus siblings and 24 adults, we walked in they had plenty of room as I said on a Saturday afternoon walking in unannounced. Service was great, the drinks were excellent and there were no complaints from anyone. The portions are large and well prepared. Pesos Cocina has a large patio and bar area and weekday specials for locals. If you are in Round Rock for a tournament, don't be afraid to come on in. Gratuity was 20% because of the large group, but that was not a big deal.

I got enchiladas verde. They were cold. Really had no flavor. But the beer was good and the bartender was great.

The margarita was best item on menu. Bar seating was dirty. Had to ask for it to be cleaned. Mixed fajitas were okay. Asked for melted butter — bartender gave me individually wrapped butter packets, lol. Diced fresh jalapeños came as lengthwise grilled jalapeño slices. The request for shredded cheddar cheese was “fulfilled” by some shaved Mexican cheese. Not certain what is was. No chips and salsa? Disappointed.

I got the Tex Mex enchilada. It was just okay - the tortilla was rubbery and the rice was on the dry side. I didn't feel like it was worth the $15 I paid + tip. I honestly think I would've gotten something more quality from chipotle. Margarita was fine but the mixer tasted pretty cheap/low quality. Bartender was friendly and attentive so the service was good and I tipped accordingly. I don't think I'll be back here. There are much better options in the area at a better price point.

Well I ordered the besos steak which is a ny strip. It came out a little cool and over cooked. It had no seasoning on it. Definitely wont be getting that if I even come back.

I really wanted to like it, but sadly I didn't. Portions are large, but tasteless and although plates were hot, food was not. They have a nice bar, but no drink menu??? The outside seating area is nice! Not sure I'll go back...

service was great. we were seated at a booth as soon as we walked in. soon after asked what we wanted to drink and our waiter brought out the pepsi and sierra mist quickly. we started with chips and salsa and ordered some queso. the salsa was not good. but the queso was good and we enjoyed that. would have loved to have been served the queso with extra plates though because we were getting it on the table. i did ask the waiter for extra plates and she brought it out to us, which was appreciated. the main dishes we ordered were the tacos al carbon and the street tacos. overall the meal was okay, which really isn’t great for a restaurant. the chicken was bland, and the beef was dry. the rice was also bland but the beans were alright. again, the service was phenomenal. but the food wasn’t. i won’t be back but thank you to the hostess who sat us and the waiter we had today! :)

The restaurant has a cute photo op. By the entrance. I didn’t get to enjoy the bar this trip but there was no shortage of spirits. Now customer service on the hand was less than ok. I asked the waitress a question and she completely ignored me and started talking to my girlfriend. I waited for her to finish then asked the question again. There was an urgency to finish talking to me lol. My food was under cooked & I refused to send it back because my server didn’t seem to connect with me and I didn’t want to inconvenience her anymore. I’ll see what it tastes like after I cook it at home. The Queso was good I like jalapeños in it. The beef fajitas + rice & beans with sour cream & guacamole 3/5. Here’s the kicker I had to ask the young lady to repeat the bill and she responded snippily. I looked at my companion and asked to see the check. We were over charged $64.00. 👀👀👀👀👀👀. Then she came back all apologetic offering desserts to make everything better. No thanks Ms Girl.

When you click to order it directs you to order with DoorDash and says preferred by business as you can see in the photo. The order was then cancelled without even notifying me that the order was cancelled. I drove to pick up any they said the order was cancelled. No explanation as to why order was cancelled and my card was already charged for the order.

Service was extremely disappointing. I sat at the bar during a very slow period (around 7:45 pm), yet received little to no attention. One bartender in a black Besos polo made eye contact with me multiple times but continued talking to another guest instead of helping. The other bartender with long hair rarely checked on me. Chips and salsa didn’t arrive until about 8:10, along with a water refill. My food came out before I was given silverware, and when I finally started eating, the rice and beans were cold. The overall experience felt neglected and depressing, especially given how empty the restaurant was.

We went the other night for a family get together and we are a large group. We arrived fairly early in the evening and it was not busy at all. When we asked to be seated outside (so we can enjoy the live music) we were told that we couldn’t because it was “reserved” it DID NOT look reserved. Next once we got our table our waitress took our drink orders and disappeared for a LONG time. We even had an incident where someone was kinda choking on a chip and we had to get up and ask for some water. We had to walk up to the manager and he responded (very aggravated) “she’s on her way” with no urgency. We had to get up several times and ask “where’s our waitress”? Eventually she seen what was happening and then became very short and cold towards us. We Had to ask OTHER servers for assistance and again the manager SEEING all of this didn’t bother to come offer any assistance whatsoever. Food took forever to come out and when it did it came out at different times (which was weird) and some of it was COLD. Plates/menus were not picked up so we were sitting there with a FULL table again because the waitress was not attentive. Just the whole experience was horrible the food was horrible. To top it all off, because we were a LARGE party we got stiffed with a mandatory gratuity. Let me just tell you, what she received was NOT earned. The food was not worth the price-service was not worth the price. Management was not worth his wage. We feel ROBBED and Disappointed. Will not be back.

This place is nothing like the pictures in their ads. They make it look like fine dining, but the inside feels more like a Denny’s diner. The food was just okay, honestly, you can find better at a hole-in-the-wall for half the price and with much better service. The restaurant was nearly empty when we went, and now I understand why. What really turned me off (and guaranteed I’ll never be back) was the automatic 20% gratuity they tacked on $21.59 for our table of five adults. One of those adults didn’t even order anything because she had just gone through chemotherapy and wasn’t feeling well. That’s not a “large party.” That’s just a family dinner. To charge an automatic tip without asking is beyond ridiculous. I have no issue tipping. I always do, but I should be the one to decide how much based on the service. And the service here wasn’t good. For them to force a tip like that is tacky, unprofessional, and, frankly, ghetto. No wonder this place keeps closing and reopening under new names. We won’t be back.
