We love India Gate Cuisine! It’s so comforting: the food and service are like a warm hug. Delicious and memorable. I’m craving it already and we had it for lunch today! Yummy! Did I mention how wonderful the service and atmosphere are? So clean, too.

Fantastic place, staff is very friendly, food is -amazing- (with good portion sizes; I actually get full here!), and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint (which may be resolved by now!) is that the space gets a bit warm in the summer, like their AC unit isn't quite up to the job.

Nice place with a neighborhood feeling. The lunch buffet was very good & they said that all food is Halal. It had Multiple options and was made fresh. They even accommodated us for the lunch buffet after 3pm.

This is a wonderful restaurant. We had the buffet. The food was fresh and delicious. The owner is very personable and provided outstanding service. We had full bellies, smiles on our faces and will tell all our friends and family to try this restaurant. Readers you should try this restaurant

We had an amazing experience at India Gate last night. The food was great and the service was exceptional. The staff was so sweet with our baby! This is our new favorite Indian spot in Sacramento.

Restaurant was banger ! !! The service was amazing. Food came out promptly, was reasonably priced, and tasted great! The atmosphere in the dining area was cozy and my friends and I had a great time watching Bollywood music videos. We even got sodas on the house! Please please support this establishment ! ! !

We were traveling back to Reno and went late at night. Service was excellent, food was excellent, and the restaurant was nicely decorated. We ordered a lot of food, but everything tasted phenomenal, and everybody was very nice. The chai was perfect as well. The bathrooms were very clean. We had lower expectations since it was late night and they were the only ones nearby that were still open, but they far exceeded. We took some extra food to go, and even that food was excellent.

Food was delicious. Our first time here and it was great. I am not a fan of lamb kabobs but their kabobs were very moist and tasty! They also have many different choices to choose from! Service was also great! Will definitely come back.

The garlic naan is made just how I like fluffy and not thick very good and flavorful. Butter chicken pairs well with rice and naan, recommend trying 🙂.

And they charged us $4 for a small mug of masala chai - I would not have ordered it if I knew how much it cost, but I could have asked. Just be aware of the prices, but the food is amazing and the people working there are very nice!

Lamb vindaloo $18 was plain red tomato sauce with almost no other spices, 3 small pieces of lamb, 1 piece of pure fat, and 20 pieces of sweet potato/yam for bulk. Daal makhani was fine. Roti was like a flour tortilla, not the style with many layers. I thought this restaurant would be less expensive. That's why I ordered from here rather than Bombay on the next block. Bad decision.

I ordered the butter chicken, and tandoori chicken with garlic naan for take out. It was around 40-50 dollars which is expensive but not unheard of for Indian food coming from an Indian person. But I received 3 small pieces of Tandoori in a box, and a small container of butter chicken with 80 percent sauce and 20 percent chicken. Complete rip off and I was extremely disappointed. Food was alright nothing special but extremely disappointed. I hate writing reviews against small businesses but genuinely felt robbed and they gave me no food. I had to go buy food after to get full. Reading reviews the buffet might be decent but DO NOT get takeout.
