I love Piatti’s outdoor area when it gets warm out. My soon to be wife and I brought a bottle of wine and shared a fantastic meal. I was very surprised that corkage was only $15. Our server was attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. It was not the first time we’ve been there and it certainly will not be the last.
Hosted a birthday party in their banquet room for 14 guests and it was a fabulous experience! I highly recommend Piatti’s if you’re looking for delicious food, excellent service and wanting a private room for a celebration. Our family and friends loved everything about it and the planning process was such an easy experience. In fact, the banquet manager was super helpful and communicative since the day I called to book the reservation. Would absolutely go back for the fresh pasta, ambience and/or to host another celebration.
We celebrated a friend's birthday as a group of ten last night. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. They sat our group early since we were surprising our friend for her birthday. The hostess and waiter brought plenty of water and took our drink orders, then gave us space to celebrate her arrival before coming back to take more drinks and then food orders. All of the food arrived at the same time, with each dish plated beautifully. Everyone dug in and loved their dishes. I got the ravioli and I had to slow down how quickly I was eating so I could enjoy it more. I also got an Italian red (one of the barberas) to go with my meal and it complimented the flavors well. Overall, a solid experience with delicious food, great drinks and wonderful service.
My 2nd time here while visiting family and it did not disappoint. We were on the nice covered patio and the food and service were great! Started with the Brussel Sprouts and Fritto Misto, both lightly fried with a nice slightly spicy sauce. For main we had the Cioppino, Prawn Saffron Spaghetti, Butternut Squash Gnocci and the Campanelle. Hands down favorite was the Saffron Spaghetti, so flavorful and fresh with the unique saffron flavor. The Gnocci was so pillowy and with the mushrooms and sauce just heavenly....and the Cioppino and Campanelle were also delicious! We finished by sharing the Pear Bread Pudding which looked more like a biscuit was super delicious...maybe some clotted cream or whip cream instead of ice cream is what I'd prefer but a fabulous meal and nice way to spend a Saturday evening!
Jason was our server. Did mostly keep up on our table. It was late and no seating available so we sat outside. The food was very good. Very pricy and very worth it.
Joe the Plumber asked me for my G. Loomis 8/9 weight fly rod because he knew I wasn't using it anymore, so I told him.."You can have it, but I want a dinner from Piatti Restaurant in exchange" He agreed to the exchange providing I bring it to Sactown, and hand deliver it! What a deal...I drive from Napa to Sactown, give him a $1100. Fly Rod and he gives me a Piatti dinner. Well, we used to have a Piatti up in Yountville, and there's one in Mill Valley that's hard to get in and out of...So, you know what..it is a good deal! But, I thought he'd at least take me there instead of grabbing a couple of to-go dishes and eating them at his kitchen table. Piatti is every bit worthy of a two hour drive! ☆☆☆☆☆
Wonderful restaurant, service and food exceptional! Ambience very nice and would be so romantic for dinner as well. We felt bad for being underdressed but there was a mix of professional and casual wear as well. Will definitely return when in the area again. Gnocchi was to die for!!
Piatti Italian Restaurants in Sacramento, CA, offers an impeccable culinary experience. From delectable pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, every bite is a delight. Charming ambiance, attentive service, and a diverse wine selection complete the perfect dining adventure. A must-visit for Italian cuisine enthusiasts!
The service was great! Jason(our server) was very accommodating and friendly…the food quality was top-notch, considering it was NYE, a nice change for holiday eating out experience. So overall 5 stars, no complaints at all, all first rate.
5-Star Experience at Pattis Italian Restaurant! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pattis Italian Restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the warm welcome by Cerra at the door to the outstanding service from Will behind the bar, every aspect of my visit was top-notch. The real highlight, however, was the incredible food! I opted for the Qatro Formaggi pizza, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The blend of four cheeses was rich and creamy, and the crust was crispy and well-seasoned. Paired with a glass of Cuban Roots beer, which Will expertly recommended, my meal was truly unforgettable. Will's knowledge and enthusiasm were impressive, and his suggestions made all the difference. He took the time to understand my preferences and made spot-on recommendations. His attentive service and friendly demeanor added to the overall warmth and hospitality of the restaurant. In short, Pattis Italian Restaurant has earned a loyal customer in me! If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere, look no further. Be sure to ask for Will bartender and Cerra – they'll take care of you like family! Grazie mille, Pattis Italian Restaurant, for a truly memorable dining experience!
Excellent, kind wait staff. The 9 hour pork/beef Classic sauce was very appreciated. Nice to see a seafood Caccuico on the menu. A flourless, nicely moist chocolate cake with raspberries and a pear/caramel bread pudding made my birthday complete.
Wonderful staff. Fabulous food. Lovely outside patio for dining. The seasonal lemonade is that perfect balance of thick and tart, that lightens just slightly if you allow the ice to melt a little. The warmed olives were a delightful treat, and the bread with oil & balsamic vinegar made a nice accompaniment. My partner enjoyed his salmon. Chopped salad, sans salami, made a perfect lunch on it's own. The dessets were heavenly. The fresh made lemon curd is a fantastic partner for the marscapone cheese cake, and fresh whipped cream that topped it. The tiramisu was light, airy, and absolute delight. What I especially enjoyed with both desserts is that neither of them were sickly sweet and instead allowed for the natural flavors of the food to carry through. If I were to have any complaints, it would be that the lady fingers in the tiramisu were a little over soaked and dangerously close to soggy.
This place is really top notch. From the staff to the ambiance to the food quality. Location- while seemingly in a strip center, the restaurant has a beautiful outdoor side yard with lights and heaters at night and shades for the daytime. They have semi outside tables and a few indoor too. Food-not a lengthy, but a quality menu. The dishes are unique and rich in flavor so you can’t go wrong. The chop salad was perfect in the dressing/topping ratio. It wasn’t too heavy lettuce, cheese, or salami so every bite was delicious and similar. Rigatoni with 6 hr pork and beef bolognese and tomatoes was cooked al dente and flavor packed. Great portion, not too much or too small. Bread pudding, wow. Probably the best I’ve had since I’m normally not a fan. Not too mushy, not too hard and the vanilla and caramel flavors were complimentary. Staff was incredibly professional, knowledgeable on their wine list (always appreciate this), and friendly. Highly highly recommend.
I was at Piatti for a birthday party. The food was good. The service was TOP NOTCH.
Amazing food with really good ambience. We really loved their pizza and desserts !
Oh my god, the ravioli is the best of the best in this world. The spinach ravioli is so creamy flavorful and the soup and king salmon are extremely tasty. It’s our 2nd time to visit this restaurant and order the same food and we ordered 2nd ravioli after the first one because it’s just so delicious!
We came here because we read other reviews saying that this was where the locals ate, and we we glad that we listened! The Impossible lasagna and lemon ravioli were absolutely delicious, and the Tiramisu has perfectly balanced flavors - though be warned, it's very moist, almost similar to a tres leches in texture. Had we planned better, we definitely would have made a reservation for their patio, which looked lovely and had a live musician playing on the Friday night we came. As is, we were quoted an hour wait for any table, so we opted for the first-come, first serve bar.
Loved the food and service - sorry posting partially eaten food but everything was so tasty - bread was warm and the olive oil perfect. They even added more bread and more olive oil when packing our leftovers!!! Great staff!!!
Food is completely legit. Pizza is almost as good as Napoli’s in Vacaville but the rest of the menu is broader and sophisticated. Beautiful food. I ordered the pepperoni pizza with honey and it’s amazing, beautiful charred crust. Not greasy, even the center of the pie has a nice crunch. 10/10 will be back. I ordered it as takeout and I’m literally in the parking lot eating the pizza like a fat kid. I also ordered the radiatore, the pork chop, risotto, and the blueberry bread pudding. Staff was all very attentive and polite, gave accurate timeframes so I could arrive as the food came out like clockwork. Lovely atmosphere, nice relaxing music and a lively bar crowd. Good vibes. Even their bathroom was spotless. It doesn’t go unnoticed.
Always a hit.... Delicious menu items from main to desserts.
Beautiful place to go to on a warm summer night. The risotto had a fresh, light flavor characteristic that was perfect for a warm day; it didn't weigh you down like a creamy risotto would. It went really well with the rose prosecco. The fettuccine was very tasty and quickly devoured. The arancini was so delicious asking with the creamy polenta. Service was friendly and timely.
I recently dined at Piatti, and it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was charming and authentic, creating a cozy Italian vibe. The menu offered a delightful variety of traditional dishes, from perfectly al dente pasta to a flavorful risottos. I especially enjoyed the Spinach Ravioli. My family ordered the Bucantini Carbonara. The staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, Piatti is a fantastic spot for anyone craving genuine Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming setting. Highly recommended.
Hands down this place deserves a 5 star! Food is chefs kiss, service impeccable- shout out to Nemo our server. My sister and I came together and he was awesome. Atmosphere was great :)) Please try!
Everything was 10/10. Love the atmosphere, the food, and staff! Took my wife here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. We tried the potato gnocchi and their Carbonara. Both were delicious 10/10 Highly recommend this restaurant.
Donna served us and is "amazing". We all had different dishes from the "homemade pasta" menu. I had the ravioli, and hubby enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna. We sampled 4 different desserts. Everything was so good.
Delicious food at a good price! I really enjoyed their Gnocchi and loved the pesto-ey citrusy sauce which tasted so fresh. The dishes are also not as expensive as other Italian places so I was pleasantly surprised! Update: We came back for dinner two more times and enjoyed both meals! I like how they adjust their menu with the seasons. I had the Gnocchi again and this time around it had a pumpkin sauce and pumpkin seeds. Very delicious!
Came here for our wedding anniversary (didn't tell the staff). We were seated promptly for our reservation, our orders were taken quickly, the food was excellent, the staff was helpful and observant. At 7:30 on a Saturday it was a bit empty, but it made for easy conversation without the need for raising our voices. Overall great place, and reasonably - priced for the quality.
Really wonderful service here, had my pup with me and the hostess found us a cool and quiet place to enjoy our lovely meal. Highly recommend.
Excellent food, excellent service, this is a noisy place when busy. The music played through the dining room speakers is too loud and doesn't fit the ambience...
Incredible food. I had the ravioli, and the pasta is handmade so it was so smooth and delicious. The blueberry bread pudding with whiskey caramel sauce is divine. I'm eating it right now and just couldn't wait to post a review about it. Service was also excellent, we waited a long time before ordering and they were super patient with us. And refilled our drinks very timely.
I’ve eaten most entrees and haven’t had a bad one yet. Great house wines and apps too!
Piatti Italian Restaurant has excellent Italian Food and excellent service. Its pizza and tiramisu are as close as we can find to the pizza and tiramisu served in Italy. Their staff are very professional, friendly and attentive to your needs.
I would give 5 stars across the board, however 1. The poor waitress was spread across to many tables. Not her fault. She did fantastic 2. The neighbor table was loud and inconsiderate of anyone else. I get a celebration of life, but not so loud and inconsiderate of everyone around them. 3. Food was great. It was well cooked and delivered hot and delicious. I didn't take photos of the food because I was busy eating it.
We had a fantastic time! Our server, Anton, was outstanding and attentive while giving us just the right amount of space. The house made pasta was cooked perfectly and even my virgin mojito was delicious! 10/10 experience and will be back soon.
Piatti has homemade pasta that’s to die for. I had the gnocchi and it was the best I ever had. Desert was delicious. Excellent quality food, superb service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended! Thank you!
Had a company Christmas party here. The service was great. The food was excellent. I had the NY steak dinner! It was perfect. My wife had the Impossible Lasagna. She LOVED it. They have a Carmalized Pear Bread Pudding! It was the best Bread Pudding I've ever had! I highly recommend anyone try it. Was a great evening and we will definitely be returning! It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. Well worth the money.
Located in the heart of the pavilion shopping center, it took a while to get us seated and we were greeted with "can I help you " less than expected from a restaurant staff at that caliber. Food was amazing and priced according. Out side seating can use some cobwebs cleaning. After all good experience and food.
Great place, friendly staff. I loved the outdoor seating. There was a musician playing outside, a pleasant experience that wasn’t too intrusive so we were still able to hear each other in conversation. I ordered a Cesar salad with salmon and I was a little disappointed with the salad itself, tasted a little bland. Most of the flavor came from the salmon. I loved the tiramisu, however! It was heavy on the coffee flavor which I loved! I want to come back here again to try their different dishes. My friends’ orders looked much more appetizing and they said they enjoyed their meals.
We've always had a good experience here. Food and service have always been good. Ordered a coke and it was 5 dollars which is ridiculous! We will probably be back but that really irked me. Next time we're ordering water. Salmon and pork chop were really good.
We arrived a few minutes before our outdoor reservation (5:15pm) and were seated immediately. The hostess was polite and friendly and soon after being seated our waiter arrived. We received bread and oil/vinegar on the house. The bread was good but not remarkable - reminded me of the fresh bread if you buy it soon after it is baked at Safeway. Right on time, it seemed, we were asked what we wanted to order. We settled on the Rigatoni and Ravioli. On both, we were asked if we wanted to add additional meats on top. My girlfriend is vegetarian so we didn't add anything to her Ravioli (spinach, ricotta, lemon cream, citrus gremolata). I elected to add a meatball to my Rigatoni (six hour pork & beef bolognese, grana, Seka Hills olive oil). Both entrees tasted very good. The ravioli had a distinct but not overpowering lemon taste and the rigatoni had a strong, meaty taste with a generous ratio of meat vs pasta. Both entrees left us with a bit of an appetite so we elected to get dessert. The gelato and cheesecake both were good but not remarkable, perhaps a little better than the quality you'd find at the Nugget. The vibes and atmosphere of the restaurant were pleasant, it had the right amount of ambient noise for a date night and there were string lights and a lit outdoor fountain. Four stars instead of five because, in my opinion, the portion sizes were a bit small on both entrees.
Great Italian food located in a mall. Pasta was fresh and the sauces are very flavorful. Negroni was strong and well mixed, full of flavor. I would recommend.
This was our first time in a while. Our regular waiter took care of us in his very polished and professional smooth manner. I started with a crisp, refreshing Pilsner on tap. The Goddess had her regular gin and tonic made with 209 gin. She swears by it. She had a mixed greens salad with grilled chicken. She said it was good. I had the bucatini with prawns. It was just “ok”. We finished up with the usual. The Goddess had a cup of their flavorful coffee served in a French press and I had the affogato. It was nice and toasty sitting outside under the heater. Still like them; just would like to see more variety.
Nice, upscale restaurant. The meals were presented beautifully. Fritto Misto was good but not for the non-vegetable eaters. Potato Gnocchi was well prepared however not a fan of the lemon brown butter. The lemon flavor spoiled it for me. The Radiatore was a winner.
I had the chopped salad in Italian salad dressing. This salad is good for radicchio lovers. The bŕead is served warm with olive oil and balsamic- very tasty. Also, the potato leek and puried asparagus soup was delicious.
Food was delicious! Steak was perfect! Lemon spinach ricotta ravioli my top favs!! Setting was intimate but noisy! Parking at night on weekends may be rough. ))
Generally the food at this restaurant is very good. However, if they are going to offer a Nectarine bread pudding, I suggest they include more than 2 wafer-thin shavings of the fruit. I couldn't even taste the nectarine and left most of the dish uneaten.
This is a to go order experience. It was busy at lunch. No real indicator of where to pick up to-go orders so I stood by the hostess who was helping... no one. Finally she acknowledged me and got my order. It was cold but it's hard to time a pick-up order. The crust was good, a bit spicy for me (hot pepperoni?) I've had much better meals dining in here.
Very friendly bartender, nice atmosphere. What you get for the money, meh. Happy hour is generic wine still priced where you could get a generous pour of a good label. Mattone, etc Avoid getting the happy hour romaine for $10, you will be sadly disappointed. They are just many other good Italian restaurants to go. Not to avoid, just not a place I would go out of my way to return to
We came as part of a large party at a side section reserved for a party. Super mixed reviews on the meal. The food itself was super tasty and I ate it all. Unfortunately, when the food came out it was cold. Like, not warm but not hot, actually cold. It must have been one of the first orders started. I am guessing they dont have hot plates for food. Fantastic service the waitresses that were available were on top of it. 100% recommend for a night out, just not for big parties.......
This place has really gone downhill over the last 20 years. In fact, most of the businesses restaurants in pavilions area has gone to hell in the last 20 years. I’m from the Old school days of fine dining and this place in Zin Grill across the street have really gone Down would not recommend
