5-Star Experience at Sourdough & Co.! At Sacramento depo I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sourdough & Co., and it was an absolute delight! The Southwestern salad was fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The service was top-notch, thanks to the friendly and attentive team members Dolly and Aliyah. Dolly's warm smile and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home, while Aliyah's efficient and courteous service at the register ensured a seamless checkout experience. The salad was a perfect blend of textures and tastes, with crispy tortilla strips, juicy chicken, and creamy avocado all combining to create a truly satisfying meal. The portion was generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. Overall, I'm so impressed with Sourdough & Co.'s commitment to quality food and exceptional customer service. If you're looking for a great dining experience, look no further! Be sure to ask for Dolly and Aliyah – they'll take care of you like family!
It is a great spot to grab food before traveling with Amtrak. I ordered a cracked pepper Turkey sandwich and a creamy tomato soup combo with small BBQ chips for the train. It only took a 5 min wait, after ordering, since the place is busy during lunch time. The soup is hot and tasted very savory. The sandwich had all the fixings (lettice, tomatoes, etc), and the house sauce compliments the turkey, so it didn't need mustard. Moving forward, I will definitely be grabbing a quick bite before my travels. Also, there is a door right into the station. So you don't miss announcements.Great bonus
We ordered a French dip and a ham sandwich. The bread, sourdough was super tasty. Very fresh and crispy. The meat was great quality and nicely cut. Cute place at the train station, perfect before a long train ride!
Great service and friendly staff, delicious authentic sourdough and sandwiches, great alternative to togos or subway—will come here again.

Had the clam chowder in bread bowl. Excellent. Highly recommended.
Had a layover here in Sacramento for a bit we tried this place out and we loved it we highly recommend this place if you are here in the vicinity 😊
Excellent customer service. The young man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The lemon coconut cookies are life changing 😋
Good food, inside the station, vegetarian options and good service. We got a Reuben and a Veggie, and they were good sandwiches. The sourdough was a good texture, crisp outside and tender inside, the Reuben had a lot of mustard but wasn't bad, the veggie comes with avocado but no protein unfortunately. There is also cheese and mayo on it default so if you want it vegan just order without Mayo and cheese I think. The fire-roasted vegetable soup was good and had A LOT of veggie chunks in it which was great. Coke products and Mr. Pibb too! I liked the number of selections they have and the staff was very friendly, helping a younger customer figure out her order patiently and nicely.

I thought 26 minutes would be enough time to make a single sandwich with three on staff and four people in the restaurant, but I was mistaken. Missed my train. This had better be the be the best damn sandwich I have ever eaten as it cost me $64 and 30 minutes of my life if you include train fare. *Spoiler* mediocre at best
I liked the food but I didn’t love it. I had a French dip sandwich. One thing I didn’t like is that every order goes out on a plastic bag. I get it, there is a lot of to go orders, but I was eating at the cafe and my food was given in two plastic bags even though it could all fit in one. I would have preferred being served on a food tray.

Waited 30 mins for my sandwich. Place wasn’t even busy and my order wasn’t complex. Turkey & Salami w/ Dijon instead of yellow mustard. Food, workers, and place was decent at least.

I'm NOT very impressed with the service. The food took very long to make which they weren't that busy & the only staff person I saw was very rude. My brisket sandwich I ordered, the bread was hard & burnt but otherwise was good but nothing to brag about. I don't believe the food is that fresh. I can't say I can recommend.
The lady working there had no customer service skills at all. They didn’t explain the kids’ sandwich only comes on honey wheat bread. We asked if they could remake it on sourdough but they couldn’t. So, I ordered a plain sourdough roll and asked her to cut it open….which she didn’t. I asked if she could cut it open again and she handed me a plastic knife, even though there was a bread knife about 1 ft. from her. Are you kidding me! The worst service I’ve had in a long time. Skip it and move on…
I love sandwiches, and unfortunately this was by far the worst sandwich I’ve had in 2026. The atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t crowded at all. The workers were observant and welcoming, so I have no complaints about the service itself. That said, the sandwich was a huge letdown. I ordered a pepper turkey and cheddar, and it was completely bland. Everything felt slopped together with no care. The tomatoes still had the hard stem/core part on them (not sure what the proper term is), which made it even worse. The person who made my sandwich looked like she was completely over it and didn’t want to be there, and honestly, it showed in the food. This was the worst $13 I’ve spent in a long time. I was traveling, extremely hungry, and this place looked like it was going to be a great option but it did not meet my expectations at all do better sourdough company.

I ordered a 4-inch grilled cheese sandwich. As you can see from the photo, the cheese is not grilled. It's not even warm. Also, this somehow cost me $11? For a tiny sandwich with no drink or chips or anything on the side? Charging $11 for bread, cheese, and a slice of tomato seems unconscionable to me. The bread was yummy, but this was so not worth it.
Ordered a chicken salad sandwich! The chicken and the ingredients wasn’t mixed ! The best part was my toppings I had added! This is sad that a known sandwich company that’s known for bread . Will happily sell you slop on bread! The bread was hard ! Won’t be returning to none of these ! But hopefully they’ll fix the problem so the next customer won’t pay $12.50 for nothing .
A lovely unhoused elderly gentleman asked me to buy him a cookie and milk from here. The heartless staff and management refused my business because they don't want to encourage a hungry person with literally nothing and nowhere to go to find ways to eat. Their reasoning? He smells bad. Not violent, not destroying property, but just for existing. He isn't allowed inside which he is respecting by asking others to purchase on his behalf. He does this all the time, which means he is bringing them business. They don't want that business because of their poverty discrimination. Karma will come around and these workers will fall on financial hardship and how they treat this man is how they do be treated. Edit: instead of worrying about unhoused people in this area management needs to focus their time and energy on their staff's customer service skills based on all of these negative reviews.
I understand marketing and that you can’t reasonably expect the product to look exactly like the picture… but the Italian flatbread was essentially mall food. Not looking for 5 star but this is kind of terrible. Especially when it is $12.99.

I've ordered food from this stop on door dash several times and in person several times. Lately, the people that work here don't seem to care if they have orders or a customer in line. I've waited for the gentleman to finish checking every soup for level and temperature and then still been ignored as he went to do dishes. I've placed door dash orders which were ignored for 30 minutes with no apparent customers in line ahead of me (same server, except this time he was refilling what appeared to be mayo), then when I went to pick my order placed 30 minutes ahead up (10 minutes after for dash said it would be ready), I was asked to wait. I was unable to wait since I had a train to catch (this shop is literally in a train station), so I had to cancel my lunch. I like the sandwiches, but the service at this shop is probably the worst you can find.
Customer service was 0/10 doesn’t, he closed the door on several people as they were walking up with no comment . Then a few mins would go by and would open the door again, this man did this about 4 times during the 8 hour layover I had in the station. Was on his phone the entire shift , I walked in because I had a question and he saw me walk in the restaurant and didn’t come to the front to acknowledge. Not made many sells because again I was there for 8 hours and maybe saw just 2 people from DoorDash picking up order, other passengers would go in and come out because he would just “hide” and wouldn’t take their order.
For a shop at a train station where customers are hurrying to catch a train, the workers were surprisingly insensitive. They talked and joked behind the counter rather than filling my order. When I asked about it, they were rude and claimed it was coming. Then they gave me half the order - they had forgotten to make my salad. I couldn't wait longer and had to leave, and asked that the undelivered food be removed from my bill. They just looked at me and claimed to not know how to cancel a check.
The only cool and reasonable people here are those that work the registers. The girls who make the sandwiches are absolutely incompetent. I asked for a basic, plain BLT and they gave me every ingredient plus cheese. I never asked for any of that! Every time I come here they always add something to my oder. Today was enough. They lack everything from customer service to being able to understand basis reading skills. Everyone else's reviews are absolutely acceptable. Not hard to understand someone wants a plain sandwich. I've worked in the food industry before. Not that hard to understand a ticket!! Also to add, they called the wrong number for my oder, which I had waited for 15 minutes and almost missed my train to work. Absolutely unacceptable

If I could ask for a refund I would, worst $12 ever spent on a 4” ham sandwich, grossest thing ever made with more mustard than anything on it. And let’s talk about the horrible customer service from cashier (Indian girl). Save your money.
