Was hungry and googled Chinese restaurants and this poped up ordered the happy family the rice was fresh but it was OK.. Unbelievable how I was to get back $9 change and the delivery guy gave me $6 and ask me if tht is good?? Ain't tips supposed to be given by the customer??
Their food is really good. Normally the immense amount of MSG would make me nauseous at the first bite of American-Chinese food, but not with this restaurant, and I'm grateful for that.
I have been here a few times, the food is good, and the delivery guy is very nice, nice service!
I've been buying food here for years and the prices have gone WAY UP!!! They said it's due to COVID and the prices of chicken going up. Umm I am not paying $8.50 for chicken wings and French fries. Chinese food is no longer the inexpensive go to food anymore. However it's still one of the best Chinese food I've had

Food tends to be good but price have sky rocketed. Quality is not up to par. Example order Shrimp fry rice you have to look for the shrimp and try to remember was it shrimp fry rice or just fry rice? Portions have gotten smaller and more expense. Covid is excuse. Recommend you pick up your food.
Good food but cash only Kim Po is hugely losing out on the business the pizza place across the street is having because they use debit machines in their deliveries when more and more are. Too bad.
The food was good but when the food got here when the driver call me he was like rushing me that he on a buss stop .1 it is my own house plenty of parking I don’t like people rushing me when they just call u so for that it will be a very small chance to order but I bet if is there own people they will treat them different but food was good that’s all I could say would have given him 5 dollar tip but gave him 2
Pretty decent. I've been ordering from them for years and can count on one hand the times I've been dissatisfied. I had significantly more positive experiences than negative ones. However, i had stopped ordering from them for a good while and when i became customer again it seemed like they raised the price for their half chicken with fried rice and they were giving less rice in the order.

Where do I begin I order food on March 29th 2021 I ordered General toso Chicken it was red deep red and the worst part after I took two bites and didn't want it anymore because it was no good about 3 a.m. in the morning after picking up the order about 10:30 p.m. I had a real bad reaction that almost cost me my life I'm allergic to Seafood I had hives my throat was closing I have to rush to the hospital as I reach the hospital I went into shock I was having a seizure which almost cost me my life do not eat from here do not cleansy cross-contamination
BAIT AND SWITCH.The menus on line is very much lower than the menu they send with your order. They charge for items that you order although they are out of it. Very rude. When you call to complain. My order came without the chicken that I ordered. The bill showed the chicken. My order was $7 more than online menu stated.
I ordered chicken with broccoli at this place. They served raw chicken. I contacted them so they could pick their mistake food up, these cruel people took an hour to do so. I called again to find out the status of the delivery man, the person who answered assumed that I had eat the raw food. They then pretended not to understand when I insisted on my refund. They claimed that I told them I would return the food to them in the restaurant and retrieve my refund. They kept on the charade until I was extremely angry and raised my voice on the phone at the female on the line.
I will not eat from this location due to the negative heavy traffic in and out. From the men doing drug sales to how plain oh nasty the food really is. If I could of not given a star and just a review I would.
10-15 years ago the food was tasty, the place stayed crowded the nicest people. However there food is trash now. I remember I ordered food over the summer of 2024 and the food was old tasting and one of the plates of food was completely sour the next day. I called and even brought one of the plates of food back that hadn't been touched and complained and requested my money back. I was told maybe something was wrong with my refrigerator and became insulted. I was then later told I could come in and get my $13 back but I never went back to get it. I was just that disappointed that I let them keep $13. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
The food I got, in terms of taste, wasn't the worst but wasn't the best. I've realized that many restaurants don't actually know how to cook General Tso's, they just refry the premade stuff any old way, add (sometimes poorly made) sauce, and sell it. I always know it won't be great when it's bright, not darker, red like food coloring was added. My review really isn't focused on the food and might be too long for some, so I put some asterisks (**) next to the part with a helpful tip for potential customers. Here are really the main reasons for my review (I usually only leave reviews for especially good experiences or bad ones): **The cashier told me something came with the order after I asked, but when I found the price was higher than expected and questioned it, she told me the item she initially said came with the meal actually didn't and was an extra charge so I didn't get it. Then she tried to do the same thing to a women who came in and ordered after me. Check the price and make sure you're not being overcharged or tricked into add-ons. I don't appreciate having my intelligence insulted. --The $10 "lunch special" was not a special at all, but a very small black round plastic bowl some restaurants now use to sell less and charge more, which they think they're fooling people with. I'm not a heavy eater and was hungry about two hours later. SIDE NOTE: I've lived in the neighborhood for years but had only eaten from there once before because of rude behavior I'd previously encountered. But I wanted hot food to go that could be ready after I came out of the grocery store because I was going to be too busy to cook later and still ended up having to cook, which disrupted my well-planned out work and study day. She wasn't rude this time but another experience like this is enough for me not to return. Additional note: They, along with other similar restaurants, need to stop the cash-only nonsense and pay their share of taxes and contribute to society instead of just taking from it. Restaurants like these are seeing an obvious decline in business because besides their food being overpriced now and not the healthiest, many people are also aware of the cash-only scheme and are thoroughly annoyed at being inconvenienced to give them business for it. The men sitting outside, either doing shady business or just being unproductive citizens, make me think the restaurant's doing something like that food stamp scam many similar restaurants used to do. It's 2024 and they're still pretending there's a legitimate reason they don't take credit or even debit, with the latter being almost no cost and zero risk to them. The blatant cash-only tax evasion scam (no one likes taxes but this is ridiculous and antiquated (outdated and overdone)) is another reason I avoid restaurants like this.
Edit: I dont order here anymore, because the foods actually really bad if you think about it. It tastes really sloppy, old, and looks slimy. The service is great, the lady and the chefs in the back are working really hard so I appreciate it, the service is well. Its a really small place though so of course the atmosphere would be uncomfortable.
I’ve been a customer at this Chinese spot for sooo many years, since 2001. The owners were different people they were kind, were my friends. Today 7.10.2019 I ordered the fried baby shrimp, 20 piece for $5.50 simple order. I got it and I noticed my shrimp still had the poop line still attached. They had not been cleaned. I opened half of my shrimps and all with poop. I went back to the store to talk to them and get a new set because that’s disgusting I’m not eating seafood with poop attached. The lady saw it and spoke to the chef. She told me to throw out the ones I had opened and to keep the remaining half I didn’t open, I told her no, I want new ones because if I go back home and find another shrimp with poop I’m going to be upset for wasting time and going to want my money back. She spoke with the chef again and said they didn’t clean them because they are too small. That doesn’t matter they should be cleaned. I told her I had been a client for so many years and I’ve never experienced this nastiness. She said “oh really, wow how long” I said over 15 years already I live literally across the street. And she spoke to the chef again and then handed me my money back, she said they chef wouldn’t give me a new order they wouldn’t clean them. Needless to say I won’t be ordering from them again after today.
