Dopo la visita al Castello di Saint Pierre, sede del bellissimo Museo di Scienze Naturali della Valle d'Aosta, abbiamo deciso di mangiare al Fornaro. Io e mio figlio abbiamo preso due pizze, la Valdostana 2.0 e la Salsiccia e Patate... Impasto pazzesco e ottimo abbinamento di gusti. Mia moglie e mia figlia hanno optato per un fritto di pesce e verdure in pastella fantastico! Oltre l'ottimo cibo dobbiamo fare davvero i complimenti allo staff, super professionale e gentilissimo, in primis Cristina che è stata carinissima con noi! Il Fornaro del Castello... Super consigliato!

Tutto al top per una pizza gourmet romana/napoletana verace che alterna un po’ la cucina tradizionale locale, ai piedi dell’incantevole castello di Saint-Pierre! Apprezzato anche il concept/logo dell’attività dal nostro grafic designer di casa…grazie Kristina😉

Una piacevolissima scoperta. Abbiamo mangiato una pizza buonissima in montagna incredibile ma vero sembrava di mangiare una pizza a Napoli ma sulla neve...ingredienti top e impasto super leggero e digeribile tant'è che ho mangiato 2 pizze. Locale molto accogliente e carino proprio sotto al castello di Saint Pierre con parcheggio dedicato annesso al locale, personale giovane gentile e allegro che ti fa venire voglia di ritornare. Pizzeria super consigliata per tutto e molto carino il dehor dove mangiare con una bellissima vista sulle montagne.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di provare questo ristorante veramente speciale! Tra le pizze più buone mai mangiate, accompagnate da dell'ottimo vino! In più il personale è veramente gentilissimo; in particolare la signora Cristina ci ha accompagnato per tutta la cena, consigliandoci benissimo e prendendosi cura del nostro figlioletto di due anni e mezzo, gentilissima e super veloce! Abbiamo passato una serata piacevolissima e sicuramente proveremo a tornare il prima possibile! A presto!

Da un romano e una parigina con figlia londinese, una delle migliori pizze mai mangiate nella nostra vita in giro per il mondo. Goppa a Londra, Nota pizzeria a Pompei di cui non ricordiamo il nome, dal Fornaro al Castello a Saint Pierre. La prossima volta testeremo la cucina da Gambero Rosso!

Non ho nulla da dire, darei 10 stelle fosse possibile. La pizza è straordinariamente buona, morbida, ben cotta, sopratutto ben ripiena! Mia figlia h a preso la pasta alla carbonara, cosa dire... Straordinariamente buonissima, cremosa con pancetta croccantissima! Cristina è molto simpatica è disponibile, ci ha trattato con i guanti bianchi. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

Davvero un'ottima pizza, come anche il locale in sé. Apprezzabile l'ubicazione, facilmente raggiungibile sia in auto che con il trasporto pubblico. Per quanto concerne il servizio, la cameriera Cristina è stata superlativa dall'inizio alla fine della cena. Consiglio questo posto, perché merita.

Bella esperienza, siamo stati un paio di volte e siamo sempre soddisfatti della pizza che è ottima. Questa sera abbiamo provato anche il gran fritto misto e devo dire che è buonissimo uno dei migliori. Ci teniamo anche a dire che Cristina è molto carina. Ovviamente ci ritorneremo

Siamo stati in qst pizzeria ristorante ed è stata una piacevole scoperta.. Locale molto carino e cibo buonissimo.. Io ho mangiato tagliata di manzo,ottima, carne fresca si sentiva e tagliatelle al ragù di Cervo buonissimo 😋.. Pizza altrettanto buonissima con gusti molto particolari e si sente tanto la qualità.. Cristina la ragazza che ci ha servito è stata molto simpatica e servizio molto veloce. Inoltre ci hanno omaggiato con una confettura molto apprezzata.. Consiglio vivamente di provare 😋😋

Dopo essere stata rimbalzata da vari ristoranti della zona perché non accettavano il mio cagnolino. Siamo stati accolti alla grande in questo ristorante gestito da un ragazzo gentilissimo. Abbiamo mangiato da Dio. Best carbonara della vita. Speso anche poco. Ci hanno regalato pure la marmellata. Anche il caffè era buono. E la pizza top!

Siamo in vacanza in Val d’Aosta e abbiamo scoperto questa pizzeria davvero ottima!!! Locale molto bello e accoglienza gentilissima già dall’ingresso con un ragazzo simpatico che mette subito a proprio agio. Ambiente ideale anche per le famiglie con seggiolone e fasciatoio in bagno quindi perfetto per chi ha bambini. Pizze di grande qualità ben preparate e con ingredienti eccellenti. Consigliatissima!

Una cena inattesa ai piedi delle Alpi valdostane. Abbiamo scelto questo locale dopo essere stati consigliati dalla receptionist del nostro resort. La prenotazione veloce e efficiente, il personale è stato gentile e super veloce nel prendere le comande. La sorpresa è stata la varietà di pizze con ingredienti locali e regionali. I gusti estremamente ricercati con ingredienti davvero inaspettati. Ho provato la pizza con mocetta, crema di castagne e fontina, davvero strepitosa! Il dolce era equilibrato e non troppo dolce. Alla fine della cena ci hanno regalato una confezione di confettura a testa per simpatia. Voto: 9/10 Da provare assolutamente se siete a Saint-Pierre.

We had this last Monday of december a great experience at this Italian restaurant! Cristina was a very friendly, attentive, and welcoming waitress, and as a bonus for us, she was from Moldova. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant. This location in Saint Pierre is very accessible, especially at a time when it’s not easy to find a place serving good Italian food around. My family really enjoyed the restaurant, and my grandma loved it. We’ll definitely come back!

The food is amazing, i never tried something similar, I have to say is the first restaurant I tried in italy, but is incredible, and the waiteress are very kind and good to you. Just amazing. The only issue is the waiting time, it took like 40 minutes to only 1 dish, but the time was worth for the food. Amazing

The ingredients are fresh, the dough is perfectly baked, and the flavors are truly authentic - exactly what you'd hope for in Italy. Esperienza deludente. Siamo venuti in cinque e, nonostante i prezzi già piuttosto alti (almeno erano indicati), l’esperienza nel complesso è stata davvero spiacevole. Durante la cena, una cameriera ha commentato in modo fuori luogo dicendo “e gli uomini non bevono niente?” solo perché nessuno di noi aveva ordinato alcolici. Inoltre, siamo stati letteralmente cacciati: verso le 20.30, senza che nessuno ci avesse avvisato in precedenza e con diversi tavoli grandi ancora liberi, la signora ci ha detto che avremmo dovuto lasciare il tavolo, nonostante avessimo appena finito di mangiare. Come se non bastasse, al momento del conto abbiamo scoperto che ci era stato addebitato 0,50 € per un cartone da asporto che nessuno aveva chiesto ma che ci è stato portato dalla cameriera di sua iniziativa. Un peccato, perché basterebbe un po’ più di cortesia e attenzione per lasciare un’impressione completamente diversa.

We had a carbonara there, it was extremely salty. As I told to the waitress that it was extremely salty she told that the guaciale they had is like that. The exoectations were high, the pizza was good. With the owner we had pleasant chats but at the end, after told me the provider if the guaciale had changed, he never admit the problem. Could be someone put too much salt simply.. it could be easy to taste. He decided to not. I was extremely politely telling, I even be back to buy a pizza takeaway the day after, I gave him the possibility to discuss. He run away from the conversation. I check accidentally an answer he gave to the comment of my wife. He lied. I am Italian, I understand Italian. Pity

They made a serious mistake with the taste of the carbonara. This was the first time in my life that I had to spit food out immediately because it was so bad. It was extremely salty and impossible to swallow. We politely gave feedback several times, but the owner did not apologize or even admit their mistake. In addition, they did not respect the order in which the dishes were ordered, which made the situation even more frustrating. It was a very disappointing experience. There was no fair compensation and no proper remake of the dish. Instead, they only gave two small bottles of jam to my kids, which felt completely inappropriate. If anyone still feels okay after reading this review, I sincerely hope you will not have the same experience as I did.

I dont know how he wanted to squeeze 11 people at the table for6! Anyway the whole attitude and shouting is unforgivable. Don't worth the nerves.

Before I tried to pay, I would have rated the restaurant 5/5! The food was superb. One of the best pizza I have had in Italy, great service and awesome music (I co own a rock and metal website so the playlist others have complained about was right up my street!) We were so keen to eat here we walked 90 minutes across the hills for the privilege. Intending to get the bus back. Then it all went horribly wrong. I paid by card. My watch flashed up payment successful. I went to leave. Then I was told “No” and that my card hadn’t processed. It clearly had and I showed the app. Again. No! A wonderful waitress translated. The person taking the money called the owner. Who shouted at me for saying they were robbing me (I said no such thing) and said they were calling the police. I asked for her name so that I could have a contact if I paid again and both payments processed. She refused and put the phone down. I asked the cashier for her name or the managers name so I could pay a second time. She refused. I put cash on the counter. She refused to take it saying I had to wait for the police. I videoed her refusal and attitude and went to leave. She stood between me and the door to prevent me. I am a tourist, in a foreign country, whose card has worked every time for our eleven week tour of five countries but I am being held against my will to await the police despite offering constantly to pay a second time! The owner appeared after some time and finally accepted the cash payment. The excuse was that the cashier didn’t speak English (the young waitress did an EXCEPTIONAL job translating and apologising so this was simply not true) I finally got the owners name and number and the cash was taken at which point we were allowed to leave. Day ruined. The last of our cash for the bus was used to pay so another 90 minute walk home. No doubt the restaurant will post a very different version of events. I have video. I won’t share it in anyway, but whatever their excuse, this was a genuinely scary and unforgettable way to treat a customer. But the food, music and young waitress were amazing - making the behaviour of others so disappointing.
