Friendly server, food was good and the price was affordable.
Delicious and friendly great customer service I highly recommend
The Sancocho is amazing, terrific authentic #columbian restaurant AND BAKERY. Must try.
Excellent customer service. I asked for a guanabana with milk an as it was the most delicious I've ever ha s. Empanada de Pollo fresh an s tasty. The ladies at the counter have excellent customer service skills . They deliver so we took menu. I am so glad I came across this spot
Hands down, best Colombian food I have ever had. Everything is so flavorful. The owner is so sweet. Very clean and beautiful restaurant. It is more of a takeout then to be able to sit and eat. I recommend this spot to everyone I know who love empanadas and/ or authentic Colombian food
I took my mom for lunch after a medical appointment. We had beans, rice, maduro, beets salad and slow cooked beef (and coffee). This is what my mom said. "They know how to cook mijo! The flavors are amazing" Nothing else to said. My mom approved this restaurant.
Food and service are amazing. The empanadas are on point! Being that everyone is only doing takeout, they packaged everything very well. Definitely coming back or ordering from here again and recommend everyone to try Los Marinillos out they wont disappoint!!! P.s I'll make sure to take pics next time
Just got back from having breakfast. I had the “Desayuno Los Marinillos “ and my wife had the “Arepa con queso y huevos revueltos . “ Both were delicious and freshly made 😋
Very tasty Colombian food. Worth giving a try. Friendly staff.
the food is amazing and very nice service. Best place for Spanish food. Also, the owners were very nice and friendly. I will be coming back when I want a quick bite.
exceptional service, best spot for a quick bite to eat! I always get their empanadas and they also have a wide variety of choices on their menu. would recommend 100%.
The waitresses and staff are very welcoming and friendly! Different food everyday and it’s a really nice cozy place to eat at. The nicest people
Delicious authentic food. Very nice staff. Fast service. Reasonable pricing.
The music, the food, the staff. All amazing, this is probably one of the best go to spots i have in mind since they take card. Just beware the bathroom is in the kitchen lol 🤧
Exceeded expectations! Amazing food, I’m just very sad I didn’t get to try the beef empanadas.
I usually get something from this place whenever I happen to be passing by. They've got very good food and a pleasant atmosphere.
the most welcoming staff ! I ordered 2 bandeja paisas and it feed 6 people. Amazing food and many choices to choose from.
Get ready for a big, hearty Columbian meal. Or two, because the portions at Los Marinillos are so generous. The carne guisada gives you two slices of stewed meat that are thick yet tender, and the sauce goes well with rice. The chicharron is something I have ordered a second time, as they season the meat so well that each bite just releases a satisfying burst of flavor beneath the crisped exterior. If you're feeling hungry, you may be keen on the mini bandeja, which is a combo of chicharron and steak, with rice, an egg, plantain, a salad, and a large serving of beans. It would be enough for 2, or perhaps even 3. Enjoy! Note: service may be slow here, so be prepared to wait.
Such an amazing find! Loved everything and really tasted like food from your FAV Columbian grandmothers kitchen. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back✨✨✨ HUGE PORTIONS👅 and incredible desserts
Quaint little Colombian cafe with warm, friendly English speaking staff. Tried their qiumbanya ice coffee and it was delish. Also their Hawaiian burger was good too. Had it as a takeout. Place was clean.
Feels like home, food is amazing ! If I could I would eat this everyday.
Awesome very good love going here for lunch.
Hearty big and warm, homey atmosphere and not too expensive

Great spot for a quick bite to eat! Mom and pop feel, very welcoming staff, and amazing empanadas! They overcharged me once and when I went back (I didn't know about the overcharge) they remembered and returned the money to me. So kind!
I just go in for a couple of empanadas And they were delicious 😋 The girl who took my order was very nice ( also pretty) 👌
Food here is delicious, their chicharron is always so good and the carne asada is always so well seasoned and tasty
It was my first time trying Columbian food. My bf introduced me to it during my first visit to NYC. The restaurant was located only 2 blocks away from the hotel we stayed (The One Boutique). It was very delicious! I loved the Columbian chicken Sancocho. The place easily became our go-to restaurant for all meal time -breakfast, lunch, dinner. When we didn’t know what to eat, we just knew we would get food from Los Marinillos. We stayed in Flushing for about 2 weeks, and I don’t remember how many times we had gotten food from this restaurant -ALOT of times because of how delicious it is. We dined in, take out and called for delivery. Only thing, not everyone speaks English. One time my bf called to make a delivery order, and the girl had difficulty understanding what he was saying on the phone. We ended up walking two blocks and picked up the food by ourselves. I might miss some, but here’s some of the food we had ordered from the restaurant: Chicken sancocho, Philly steak, rice with chicken and beans, sausage roll, creamy soup, sweet fried plantains, empanadas, some coffee and mango juice. All of them were delicious! We highly recommend this place if you’re staying around Flushing. When I come back to NYC, I’ll definitely come back.
The lady allowed me to take my son to the bathroom, had to walk through the kitchen and it was spotless. Service was very friendly. Had empanadas and this bread with soft cheese inside; all was really good
This place is so nice! I was just walking on the street and noticed there’s a newly opened Colombian deli/ bakery. So I stepped in. The young gentleman at the front desk was so friendly and kind. I had no idea about Columbian breads so I picked the one that he recommended. It looked plain on the outside but man, as soon as I had my first bite, I was blown away. Its so tasty! The texture was soft, moist, and fluffy, and the flavor was so yummy. It looks ordinary but it tastes extraordinary. The prices are amazing, the quality is amazing, the environment is clean and efficient, and the service is nice. I have not tried the kitchen food but I’ll definitely go there very often for the pasties and coffee at least!
Cozy little cafe with delicious Colombian food. I got the chicharoon with rice and beans and salad. It was freshly made. Will come back to try other foods.
This place is an absolute gem. Authentic Colombian baked goods as well as empanadas. Coffee and hot chocolate accompanied with these gems is perfection. Staff are friendly and overall a great experience if you're looking for a taste of Colombia.

Great tasting food a but petty pricing like 50 cent for extra jelly lmao but very warm and comforting
Just okay. Hit or miss. Mediocre food. The beans were good but the rice was burnt. The steak was cheap. The chicken quesadilla was not good at all. It had bones in it too. The beef empanadas were very good especially with the sauce. The plantains are a hit or miss. They never have yuca fries. The woman taking the orders was very confusing in both languages.
I really want to like this place, but I don't. I go to it only because it's the closer of the 2 Colombian places in Flushing. I won't make that mistake again. I love El Recuerdo way more. I read a review with someone says the "Petty Pricing" and I have to agree. I've been going to that store since it opened. Yet, the guy who helps out is stoned face and seems annoyed when you ask for food. The Special which is "10 dollars", but they charge an extra 2 dollars for their Tilapia, but wont even say anything. 10 dollar special.. small soup, and a small salad with a decent size piece of fish .. 12 bucks? Yeah sorry, why call it a special. Today will be the last time I go here.
Food is okay. But they should definitely get better at the service. There are two ladies there the one in the front usually takes the order and the other women towards the back just stares and doesn't help unless the other women tells her so. The other day it was a bit busy and it took forever to pay.
It’s okay to try this spot if you don't have other options around… The food is not authentic Colombian and it’s not the best, but it’s okay on a rainy day.

Not sure where the 4.6 stars came from this place is terrible. The food is mediocre and the service worse lady taking the orders on the phone is lost!
I did not like the visit and the experience.
Place is very unprepared. Was missing a crucial ingredient to a typical dish. (The avocado). And then their waiters don’t be paying attention to their clients. First time I went was ok but the second time really disappointed.
I do like the food they have however, I hate having to fight over the prices they post on their menu verses the prices displayed on their food window displays. Not only that but when I asked for a small coffee they wanted to charge me a large coffee because they ran out of small cups. Guys if you don't have small coffee, just tell me or ask me if it was okay. Don't just charge me extra for something I didn't order. (Yes I did fight about it and it was resolved). Atmosphere is nice, some employees are eh... Malos (bad).

Came in an hour before close, they 'dropped' all their soup
Not sure where the good reviews come from- far from authentic Colombian food. Head over to Gustazo on College Point Blvd instead
Food was extremely salty and overpriced. $13.50 for a small beef over rice. I needed to buy a water to eat this beef. Rude waitstaff as well.
Didn't pay attention to the order.. I asked for tostones but got Maduro.. Didn't get my extra rice I paid for. So angry when I got home ... all for 31.00 Terrible !!!!!!
Takes forever to order & when you do you already got skipped by 3 people and nobody even at the counter. Food is alright but not for the wait and unprofessional business.
Over priced and zero customer service skills...I asked twice for a menu to corroborate the price I was charged and they simply ignored me.
