This cafe was so cute, and we loved all of the cats we met. My husband and I went here after looking on their website at available cats and falling in love with Napiere. After meeting him, we immediately applied for adoption. You can tell the staff care about cats and the girl we spoke to was knowledgeable on all of their personalities. We paid $1 to get some treats to feed them and that made us the favorite among the guests 😂 We love Napiere's brother Napoli, and the little guy Bluey. While we cannot take on more than one cat at this time, we truly hope they get a home soon. One comment about the application process is that communication is sparce. I understand this is a small organization, but I think their systems might be having errors (not them as a whole). We never received a confirmation email that we submitted an application (even though the website said we should), and while it said a response is typically within 24-48 hrs, we did not receive anything within that timeframe. This caused us to grow worried that our application got lost somewhere, so we called them after 3 days and were informed that they had just sent our approval email just then. However, I didn't receive the approval email and after a few more phone calls with the staff and trying to send more emails, we finally had to use my husband's email instead. Still never knew what was going on, but this goes back to my original point on the system having some sort of error. Nothing against the staff themselves, they were completely fine. Just maybe something to look into in the future!

As a Yacht Captain always on the go, I can't have Cats anymore. I LOVED this place! Got my fix and sweet kitty kisses! The way they've designed the Cafe side separate from the actual petting area is perfect. I will definitely come again when traveling back through.

The cats are so well taken care of! I was saddened to hear they came from a kill shelter, but so grateful for these amazing people for taking care of the cats. The staff is well informed on the personalities of each and every cat and wants to put them in their perfect home. They have amazing coffee too! Will be back again.

Cats, cats, cats! All ages, all sizes, all colors. Sleepy kitties, cuddly kitties, kitties with zoomies - all the kitties are here and ready for a forever home. I ordered a drink and spent an hour in kitty-cuddle mode, playing and patting until my time was up. At one time, I had SIX kittens in my lap, one asleep, all tumbling and wrestling to take sleepy-kitty's place. It was heaven. 🐈‍⬛🐱🐈 Proceeds go to their non-profit kitty rescue and care, so the nominal fee to go into the cat room is basically a donation. So good for the soul and the cats.

This was my first time visiting a cat cafe and after going here I definitely feel like I want to go again. Coffee and Boba was amazing, definitely get yourself a treat when you go, you can even take your coffee inside just be mindful of cats taking a sip, they seemed to be very curious!! Would definitely recommend going!!!!!

After losing my super senior cat, we we’re on the search for another pet. We ended up coming to Frisky Cat Cafe, which was located in the same parking lot I adopted my boy 17 years ago & adopted two loving kittens, who have spread so much joy in our home! All the cats were so loving and well taken care of & everyone was so friendly and wonderful! Definitely recommend coming here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an amazing experience. So many cats and kittens available for adoption. The staff does an amazing job keeping the cafe clean and safe for visitors and feline residents. All of the kitties are so healthy and social. 🩷 Brought my sister from Maryland here and she absolutely loved every minute. The staff love the cats like their own and it's a very sweet environment to be in. Donate, adopt or just go visit this place! You won't regret it. 🩷🐱🐾

Fun stop to get some kitty-love! Clean space with separate kitten rooms (2) as well as main room with older cats. Several chairs and sofas to sit and enjoy these animals. The space is single floor with doors into each kitten room and bathrooms. No automatic doors and limited moveable space for those in wheelchairs or walker assistance. Plenty of volunteers to help should anyone need mobility assistance. Parking is ample with easy access on Main road.

Coffee, Snacks, & Kitty Cats? YES PLEASE! This is a wonderful environment for the family. The staff are friendly and very kind. (They also have volunteer positions available!) Plenty of food options if you're hungry. The tea cakes are especially delicious, in my opinion. 🍰 Lots of coffee options, smoothies, juice, sodas, etc... as well. You can enjoy your food and drinks while you hang out with the cats! We stopped by on Thanksgiving for a quick visit with our boys to surprise them after our meal. Best choice ever! We all left with smiles. 🥰🐈 Also, I should mention, ALL of the cats and kittens are available for adoption!!

This is an amazing cafe and cat rescue. So many furry friends inside. There is a $12 charge to visit the cats and kittens, but your $12 goes 100% to the care of the cats and kittens. We order two coffees and they were delivered to us in the car lounge. There are all kinds of toys and cat furniture. There are two kittens rooms and even the kittens are so approachable, I sat down and immediately approached by them. These cats are well cared for and so lovable. I was able to scratch everyone of the cats I interacted with on the chin and belly. If you know cats, you know that is a testament to how well they are cared for. The coffee was really good too. As you may expect the cats and kittens are available for adoption. We left with the endorphins high and feeling low stress.

We came here from Orlando to celebrate our one year anniversary. Naturally this would be the first place we go and we had a blast! The staff was super sweet and knew everything about all the cats. The rules make sense and the room is super spacious so we could enjoy our time even with other people in the room. We peeked in both kitten rooms and could not stop laughing! This will definitely be something we come back for, especially when it’s time to adopt!

Such an awesome time at Frisky Cat Cafe! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome from the baristas. The space was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for both humans and felines to relax and interact comfortably. The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, always making sure the cats’ needs came first while still engaging with guests in a thoughtful way. You can tell the cats and kittens are genuinely loved and cared for while waiting to find their furever homes. The latte was amazing and lots of great snacks as well. I can’t wait to come back!

My mom and I went here on the last day of our vacation and we had a great time interacting with the cats. I appreciate their mission as an animal lover myself and I wish them the best in their endeavors to get those cats adopted. There are a lot of rules when first going there which can be intimidating at first but I understand why those are in place.

A very cute and quiet place to relax and spend time with some cats. It costs $12/hour/person to enter the cat room. There were lots of cafe drink and snack options that you can bring into the cat area if you watch your food. I loved the boba tea and the macarons. There is also a small gift shop. The cat area was clean and well designed to accommodate the cats and visitors. Lots of perches and some couches. There is a separate kitten room where you can play with the kittens but can’t pick them up. Other than some skittish cats all the cats are friendly. Atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful. It got busier in the evening but never had more than 6 people in the cat room while I was there on a week day.

I fell in love with every single cat there. All of the cats are very friendly and some will curl up on your lap for a snooze. The kitten rooms are crazy! So much fun.

Our attendant, first of all, was AMAZING! The food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend the macaroons! The coffee was 5 stars! If you see any reviews about it not being “kid friendly”, it’s not true. You just have to watch your kids to make sure they’re following the rules of the cat room- like any other cat cafe, Otherwise they will be told to follow the rules, again like any other public place!

Large variety of adorable cats, with varying personalities, so its an always changing experience. My favorite part had to have been the kitten room, since they were just so social and playful. The staff is also doing a great job at keeping the space clean, and orderly. My only wish would be for masks to be more easily accessible for people with allergies, but thats all. 10/10 experience would recommend!

Super big area for all the cats to roam around! A bunch of cats to interact with. Two kitten rooms filled with adorable kitties! One of the rooms is for adults only which I believe is very reasonable because kids can be harsh on cats sometimes! The other kitten room has an age limit of 8 and older to enter. So many adorable cats everywhere with plenty of food, water, and toys! There is a curtain with cats behind it because some cats are new and need to adjust to the environment. Cats are very sweet and come to you. You get a 5 minute warning which is very helpful. Drinks are super good! Staff is very kind. Glad there are rules established. Super amazing place, 100% recommend.

Very nice cat cafe with adorable cats and kittens all for adoption. I love that the cats are so well taken care of and loved. It was a highlight of our trip to St. Augustine and glad we can support a good cause. There were about 40 cats and 2 kitten rooms. The staff works hard to keep the room clean. Can buy drinks and drink in the cafe although I just enjoyed seeing all the cats. Can also buy treats for the cats.

A simple gesture of opening the door and welcoming us to enter would have been a nicer first impression.

I visited this café with my two- and four-year-old daughters. We were really looking forward to a sweet, fun experience since we all have experience with cats and know how to be very gentle and respectful around them. Unfortunately, all three of us were scratched to the point of bleeding during our visit. This was extremely concerning, especially because the café advertises that it is open to all ages. If the cats are reacting this way even with calm and gentle children I truly don’t think it should be marketed as appropriate for young kids. We were also told we could eat inside, so we purchased a cupcake. However, while we were eating, the cats naturally came near us, and the employee kept staring at us in a way that made us feel like we were doing something wrong. It was uncomfortable and awkward, especially since we were simply following the rules that had been explained to us. What stayed with me most was the emotional impact afterward. The week following our visit, my daughter drew a picture at school of her hand with blood and explained it was from a cat scratch at the café. That really showed me how much the experience affected her. I’d like to clarify that my children were supervised the entire time and were calm and gentle with the cats. They were not loud or rough as implied. My daughter was scratched and bleeding, which understandably made her cry, and we were asked to leave the room while she was upset. I was also scratched myself while trying to take a napkin away from a cat that was about to eat it. I respect the mission of rescuing cats and understand animals can be unpredictable. However, the café advertises that it is open to all ages, so I believe families should be aware that scratches can happen even during calm, supervised visits.

We visited this café while celebrating a birthday in St. Augustine. According to the website, there were no age restrictions, which is why we chose this location—our child absolutely loves kittens. Upon arrival, we were informed of the rules (no picking up the cats, the age restrictions towards the kittens etc.), which we fully agreed to and respected. Almost immediately after entering, my daughter gently began petting a nearby cat and was scratched/bitten. Shortly after, both my husband and I were also bitten, for a total of three incidents. This made the environment feel very uncomfortable and unsafe, especially for an older child. We understand that cats can become overwhelmed, and we are experienced cat owners ourselves, so we are very familiar with appropriate and gentle interactions. However, despite being calm and careful, the biting and scratching continued. Because of this, we only stayed about 15 minutes of our one-hour session. Had we known beforehand that children would not be able to safely interact with the cats—or that the cats might not be suitable for younger visitors—we would not have booked this experience. We were hoping for a positive experience spending time with kittens in need, but unfortunately that was not the case. Clearer information regarding age suitability and expectations would have helped us make a more informed decision, and we would have chosen a more appropriate alternative.
