Absolute hidden gem on the south side of San Antonio!!! GREAT burgers and GREAT fries in a cool little place! The large fries themselves are a meal and could easily be shared by 3 people! We showed up hungry and left FULL!

Take Out. First time eating the Berry's Special with pickled jalapeños (spicy). Large fries (serves 2), big appetite. 32 oz cup with ice. Exceptional experience. Staff was very hospitable. Could see everything being made fresh!!! Burger, fries 😋 delicious. Fries can be reheated in microwave or air fryer.

Had seen this place near my parents house while visiting them last week. The parking lot was full and the line for the drive thru was kind of long. Well I had gone to visit my parents again over the labor day weekend and decided to give it a try Why not. I ordered a single patty burger, onion rings and some chilli cheese fries. It all cost $14 and change. I have to say the meal was very good. The onion rings and the chilli cheese fries were awesome. Kind of old fashioned to be honest. Next time I'll get the large onion rings and maybe a peanut 🥜 butter shake. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.

An old school burger fry and shake joint. No frills just simple good food. The Good: Good food fresh ingredients and not too greasy, large portions, fairly inexpensive. Fries are hot crispy and not too thin. The Bad: service can be a little slow, but you can't rush quality. The Bottom Line: Solid burgers and shakes that come with a nice hit of nostalgia.

Yea, this place definitely deserves a 4.5 or 4.8. I had a Double with cheese and jalapenos. Very tasty. The buns are toasted on both sides, everything tasted fresh. Menu prices on google maps are about a dollar less than actual prices.

Nice spot for a good burger. The highlight of my meal were the onion rings. They were both crunchy and flavorful. Don't sleep on their burgers though, I am not a burger person but this one was pretty good and fries were also tasty.

This place is a cute little hole in the wall Burger restaurant. It is always great to support local businesses and this place is thriving because they care about their product and the food was delicious and fairly priced. I got the berry special which is a cheeseburger with jalapenos and a special sauce with fries and a drink for about $11. The fries were actually very good and very similar to McDonald's fries. I would highly suggest anyone visiting or local to San Antonio to try this place out!

Came from medical center area after reading reviews on our quest for SA's best burger. Well worth the trip. Had 2 cheese burgers w/bacon & grilled onions, large french fries & onion rings. Wow..crispy, well made, nongreasy FF/OR. Burgers were great, juicy and flavorful. We will be back. Give them a try 😉.

I came to Brenda's Burgers for the onion rings. They did not disappoint. My husband ordered a double meat burger and he said it was good. I ordered a grilled cheese and honestly it was horrible. It was in hamburher buns with 1 slice of cheese. I don't recommend the grilled cheese at all. The srawberry shake is good!!!!

Burgers are great! I come here all the time when i'm craving a burger, the only thing i could say is that sometimes the fries could be a miss.

Wellllll, I drove way over to this side of town to try their food. We got the chili cheese dog, and double cheese burger, onion rings and fries. The hot dog was a cheap brand and it didn't taste good. The chili was not homemade and nothing to write home about. The onion rings aren't homemade and neither are the fries. The burger was decent, but I really don't have a reason to come back especially with a unisex bathroom that won't lock. The employees were nice.

The food was OK, just not the way I remembered it. Definitely needed more fans or A/C. Onion Rings were good, and you get plenty of fries. I've never been there for dinner, and every table was taken.

I waited for almost 40 minutes for a single burger and small fries. I placed my order and sat down at the round table by the register and waited for them to call my number. When I noticed they were giving food to ppl who came in after l asked about my order and the girl tried blaming another customer grabbing my food. They never called my number. She went to the back and blamed it on me not hearing it called and that someone must of took it. They came re took my order and submitted it. I got home and it was still made wrong and missing add on items that I paid for. They were rude and what I found also to be weird was the old man in the back cooking yelled at the young men in the front to lock the doors. They locked both doors with customers still in the restaurant and sitting out side waiting for their order to be called. They were very unprofessional and continued to talk about customers loud from the back.

First time here. Let me get to the point. The burgers didn't have flavor. The meat was dry with burnt edges. The trimmings (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles), tasted fresh and crisp. The chili cheese fries were okay. The chili is canned no beans style. I feel if they added onions it would cut down on the greasy taste and possibly bring out more of the canned chili flavors. Regular fries had a mix between over cooked and a little soggy. They do not have any type of seasonings on them. If you tend to need to drink a lot while eating, I highly suggest you get a large drink because refills for both sizes is $0.50. The lady who takes your order is a sweetheart.

I absolutely love their food however their customer service is horrible they have now messed my order up twice the first time there was a hair in my food and they over charged me the second time the messed up both of my burger when I came back to tell them the cooks and chaser argued with me telling me to look between my burger to make sure. I hope they get better staff it would be a shame for it to fall apart since the food is good

Wow, that was the Worst Place I've ever eaten at, The Workers Yell too Loud to their Customer Numbers, They Charge you Money for Their Refills, and The Seating inside is too Small. But Their Food is Okay, but their Yelling and 50 cent Refills and the Seating are all not Okay. The Builders must have gotten Extremely Lazy or something to make their Seating Inside More Bigger! And as you for, Brenda's Burger Cooks and Workers, if any of ya'll are Reading this, your Restaurant is Trash, if you want to be Loved by me, MAKE YOUR REFILLS FREE, MAKE YOUR TABLE SEATING BIGGER, AND BUY A MIRCOPHONE AND SPEAKER TO SAY THE CUSTOMER NUMBER AND NOT YELL THEIR NUMBER!

The lobby was packed, ordering was easy. There was hardly any seating. The drink station on the counter was turned sideways for drive thru and counter use. The drink was 2.80 and extra .50 every refill (pretty ridiculous) Waited 20 minutes for food. The burgers were super sloppy and extra greasy they didn’t even put in the bacon I paid extra for. The fries were semi raw cooked on the outside but the inside was mush. One of my kids went back and got a refill and got tea and he said it tasted really bad when we were leaving he ran to the restroom and vomited up his burger and drink. I don’t recommend this place. I honestly don’t even know how it’s been around so long. Out of the 5 people in our party we all agreed that it was not something we would want again.
