Top quality food and service. I've ordered inside, eaten inside and gone through the drive thru. Each experience was excellent. The food quality is consistent and the staff is also consistent which says a lot about the management. They are also very friendly, kind and patient. Definitely a 4 star place to eat a meal or dessert!

Eduardo and the evening crew are on point Everytime and always provide excellent customer service. The wait times for orders are reasonable, even when they are slammed in both drive thru and front counter. The food is always fresh, tasty, and well presented. Kudos to you guys! P.S. Snooze & you might pass this entry. Off Fredericksburg Rd. past Callaghan Rd & right before you get to Louis Pasteur Rd, its snuggled in the left, partially hidden by the Studio/Motel 6. Turn left & drive thru is right there pretty much. There tends to be alot of homeless people around the Shell & behind it so just be vigilante & remain aware. (hence the 4) The drive thru is kind of tight but I think it's worth it as the food & service are great! I took advantage of their $7 meal deal. You get a Burger, fries, drink AND a Sundae...you can't go wrong with that!! Not sure if it was a Hunger buster as it seemed a tad small, but it wasn't OVERLY tiny either. Also, they have RED onions....my fave! Drive thru was quick, food was FRESH, & my Caramel Sundae was Yumm!! Overall a Great experience for me. Thank you Dairy Queen. I WILL be back. I haven’t been to Dairy Queen in a very long time. Yes, I ordered their new spicy chicken strips had a little issue, but it’s no worries manager and staff made everything correct and went above and beyond in the moment I would recommend going here. Everything was fresh nice and they took care of the issue which was awesome, which wasn’t too big of an issue, but I completely understand. I would give them more than five stars. I love this place. I love the workers. The cook Henry and Stephan and the managers on duty are always so cool and accommodating. As well as the older gent that works the front counter all the time but in forgot his name unfortunately. From the second I walk in I'm greeted and served the upmost attentive service. (Edited to higher rating after new info) I Sat in the lobby for 20+ minutes with 1 customer ahead of me. Spent more time listening to the manager reprimand the team who was struggling to make 3 ice cream items for a customer who had already paid. The team needs to be trained better. In the 20 minutes I've been listening to the manager explain a banana split, I feel like I could walk back there and get it right. We are approaching 30 minutes while I write this. Still waiting to place the order of 1 blizzard... EDIT: As it turns out, the manager is back after already working her morning shift because her closing team refused to come in/quit. I stand by what I said about the team needing to be trained but it should also be stressed that the manager has kept her cool and been kind to every customer regardless of the issues happening around her. Michelle is an A+ manager. Give her a raise before you lose a great employee.

Liked the location. The service is fast. The chicken strip combo I ordered the other day was nice and hot. Today's meal was not as enjoyable. .I ordered 3 tacos and I must've gotten the leftover batch of meat. Had to add taco sauce, salt and pepper for taste. The tall, lanky worker with glasses who wears a cap is fast and constantly cleaning, wiping, taking orders, etc.

Awesome food that is fairly quick. It is always hot. It has a small parking lot and is right next to a gas station.

Most Dairy Queen locations look so run down here in San Antonio and the company really needs to invest in revitalizing their restaurants. That said, these ice cream bars while a little pricey, they are totally worth the expense! The saltiness of the peanuts completes the ensemble of chocolatey high caloric goodness. I highly recommend.

"Comfort food" means different things to different people. It's Dairy Queen's ice cream for me. But I've always liked their beef finger strip basket. The restaurant is located on FREDRICKSBURG and Louis Pasteur. It was very clean, well staffed, excellent service and the food not too greasy. Most of the business was at their drive thru yet I saw customers from every financial status. Friendly atmosphere and people talked to each other. The place is not a dump either. I have never bought an ice cream cake from them but from what I saw, they would be perfect for a small celebration. I recommend this location...and to the staff member taking care of her elderly mother...God bless and strengthen you. She is doing it out of live and with respect.

They had a new person who did not know how to make a pineapple blizzard. We waited and waited and finally a couple of other employees tried to help her. However, the finished product was watery and not sweet. We threw it away.

I'm very disappointed with my food this time. I ordered a chili/cheese dog, and when I took it to my son, it was a half burned hotdog on a hard bun! No chili, no cheese! Went in for a pumpkin pie blizzard and basically all DQs are sold out. Bc the Regional manager only alloted for a certain amount per store of rhe stores in their region! After that, that's all there is for the season! Which if you ask me is ridiculous bc the "fall season" basically just started and they don't have anymore. Idk about others, but when I hear it announced thats it's back for the season - 1) I want to go and get one and 2) I expect it to be around FOR THE SEASON of Fall!! Just saying.

Dont come here during your lunch hour you'll wait majority of your time here. Staff is in a rush to get orders taken but leaves the finished food to get cold. Waited over 10 minutes for a cold and dry burger. Only thing good and fresh was the fries so that gets a star.

I ordered an Oreo Blizzard and it was not made exactly right like other previous blizzards. Went inside to say something about it and the manager was rude. Instead of just adding to the blizzard I ordered, he decided it was better to prove he did the first one right by making another one. Set them both down to compare and was like “see I told you it was right”. I have never had that happen before at any other DQ. I’m a DQ fan and am a little let down by this service. I guess I’ll be passing on this one and going to a different one nearby.

We went to this location three times first and second was good. And the last one which is today one half hour ago was horrible . We order to go one cheesecake and one Oreo ice cream. Medium size I got 2 cheesecake one of them is leaking down because the cub was broke they don't check it before. I returned it and ask him for Oreo. And again I got a cheesecake 🤦🏻‍♀️ I said okay i will not ask him again. and I leave the store with 2 cheesecake. When I try it i don't see the strawberry in the middle of Cub like every time. And i found a little thing i don't know what is it but it tested like old bread. So take this little thing on the garbage.and eat the ice cream. I'm not sure if I will come back again.

This was the worst experience I have had at a Dairy Queen, which is disappointing because I’d visited this store before and left a great review. I ordered a #4 meal and as I watched the guy pull the cold burger and bacon from containers, I was thinking, “I know that’s not mine.” Then I watched him throw a piece cheese in the burger and wrap it up. No effort to put the meat and cheese to allow the cheese to melt. The burger was horrible. The ONLY reasons I am not giving one star is because my wife’s and son’s food was decent and my fries were hot.

Dined in at 6:10 pm. Wait was unsually long. No sweet tea. Unsweet tea uncovered and tea appeared murky. Riff raff using restrooms without purchases. Employees had numerous visible tattoos. Sadly it's no longer the place I once remembered.

The food was crap this time and how is it that I asked for extra pickles on my Dude Sandwich and yet I only got 3.5 pickles. They charged me for the double extra pickles though. Plus the drive-thru attendant literally almost forgot to give us our food in just a couple of minutes after taking our order. Horrible experience with the store manager Gino. Went through the drive through where I waited a small bit but did not know if the mic was working so I pulled up to the window to order and the store manager Gino who was working drive through came straight out verbally attacking my mother saying "we don't take orders at the window" and we told him sorry we through the order board mic was not working and he said "well I was fixing the register and saw you did wait for more than 30 seconds". We were not there to attack and understood our mistakes but he took it personally from the start and immediately took offense calling us out. I told him to watch how he speaks to my mother and he told me " oh you think your the smart one". At that point we left the conversation and he threatened us saying come to the front of the store and meet him there. As a store manager this is completely unacceptable and immature. This happened 6/22 and 11:58am.

Pull up and you better have your order ready within 2 seconds because they will rush you and tell you if you need to think you need to come inside. Ordering via the drive thru, we had 3 separate orders, each only 1 item. They would only accept 2. When we got to the window, we were told we could make the third order, but would have to go back to the end of the line...what? Then, we were given the wrong moolatte. They redid it again, and still got it wrong. We gave up and left. Will not be back. I'm sure they could care less.

Food is awful at this location I just paid $15 the an order of three Tacos and Taco Shells were all Soggy and falling apart disgusting, waste of money!! To top it off the Hunger Buster buns were all Burnt insight, Burger tasted Burn throw it in the trash! Waste of hard-earned money

Order through the drive-through so disappointed had to go back for a DQ sandwich that they forgot to put in the bag. Asked the lady if all my sauces were in the bag, she said yes got home. My taco salad had no beans in it and no sour cream.

Yesterday our office placed an order of about 15 items total between burgers, fries, ice cream and drinks. Upon arrival to pick up order a very upset customer was complaining about receiving the wrong order… and apparently it was no mistake the employees chose what they put in your bag… and it is not what you ordered!!! Our order was missing a chicken sandwich and a specialty burger. What we did not know is that the cook decided no chicken sandwich and just a plain burger instead. When we had to return to get the missing items we were told “we were given an extra burger and they wanted it back in exchange for the specialty burger”… so be careful when going to this location of Dairy Queen as Scarlet and her manager will probably serve the burger that was returned to an unsuspecting customer just make them an extra buck!!!!

Went through the drive thru, was berated by the staff for taking 1-2 minutes to sort out what our orders were going to be, was given melted blizzards (the woman working the drive thru didn't do the upside down check, either), and when we asked for napkins we were given paper towels?? Location seemed very run down and just overall sketchy, I would suggest anyone in the mood for ice cream go to a DQ that can afford proper customer representatives and cleaning procedures.

The only reason I can see this place having 4 stars is because of the food. Just because dairy queen in general is good food. But this specific dairy queen has THE worst atmosphere and workers. I live right across the street, so I go very often and each time I go, the whole vibe just makes me want to leave. Ordered through drive through and the guy couldn’t hear us over the speaker so we pull up to the window and he immediately tells us he can’t take our order at the window. We tell him we couldn’t hear him and he just kept repeating I can’t take your order at the window. Finally he repeated our order at the window and took our payment. He was so rude and needs direction and customer service skills because obviously he doesn’t have any. Or maybe don’t have him taking orders at the window if he can’t hear right!

Ridiculous store hours and options for food. I went to this location because my spouse was craving DQ and she's working in Boerne Texas and I was going to go pick her some up to surprise her before this store closed I got there right barely at 9:30 and they told me that they were only serving ice cream at the time. I understand if it was like 5 maybe 10 minutes before they closed but that's ridiculous then they should put a noticeable sign saying that after 9:30 they stop making any kind of food even appetizers. And everybody was rude in there. I went there 2 hours earlier to get some food for me and my son and they were completely rude and when I called before making the trip over here to find out what time they close the guy that answered the phone was very rude and made me feel like I was in trouble just for calling to inquire what time they closed. This place needs to be reevaluated when it comes to who's running the store cuz I know that DQ is franchise owned and if the owner of this location allows it to happen then that's pathetic for an owner in the state of mind

Always take forever in drive, but that's no big deal. This time when I ordered a blizzard I found a giant hair in it. Had to throw it away because that's just gross. Usually like their burgers and stuff, now I'm not so sure how clean that place is.

My client wanted a chocolate milkshake fron dairy queen. So I decided I wanted to get me something as well. I ordered a cherry dilly bar. That was a mistake. The dilly bar tasted like it had salt poured all over it. I thought I was tripping due to it coming in a closed package. Nope, it even had white dots on it. I had to toss the whole thing out. The service was good, tho. The employees were attentive and nice.

Feels dumb leaving this... but I ordered a small cone w/ sprinkles and verbatim said, " Can you put a lot of sprinkles, like a lot a lot, cover or roll it in sprinkles." They say yes and repeat my order back and I go up to Pay. Tell me why I got this ugly cone. Obviously I see sprinkles, but if someone emphasized they wanted sprinkles, I would put a humorous amount of sprinkles on it. I've seen DQ cones rolled in sprinkles before, but if they couldn't/wouldn't do it, why not just say so.

Leaving this review since they refuse to answer phones to rectify any issues. Went during lunch to get a meal, ordered rhe double with cheese meal for 13 something, pull up to the window and it's the store manager working the window. I pay, he gives me my drink and no receipt and then my food. I return to work and I have a small burger and fries in the bag. This is a store manager and he cant handle the drive thru, thats ridiculous. I called multiple times but no answer. If the store manager is handling your order instead of the regulars double check your stuff.

First time at this DQ. I have to say that I am quite disappointed. It looks dirty and old when you walk in. They have a big sign advertising blizzard flavors by the register and were out of the first two I requested. On top of it all, once I got the Third flavor of choice. It was practically melted. I wouldn't recommend this location.

It’s truly fascinating how this Dairy Queen location only enforces policies when it’s convenient for them. For two days, an employee—demonstrating actual customer service—double-dipped my cone without issue, yet suddenly, on the third day, Edward decided cross-contamination was a concern. Even when asked for a simple workaround, his response was a half-filled gravy container, as if that was a reasonable substitute for three cones. If consistency, accountability, and basic customer satisfaction are too much to expect, perhaps management should focus less on making arbitrary decisions and more on running a location that doesn’t contradict itself daily.

I never have problems going to the newer locations. I already had a problem twice in this location. There is a very lazy young girl with glasses and long black hair that works there . When we ordered the meal deal we noticed that we have to go and pick up our order from the counter . When we asked for our sundae's she made them and she just left them there at the counter . We didn't know we had to go pick up our sundae's at the counter . This twice already that has happened. The newer locations bring your full order to the table , All the old Dairy Queens should be replaced by a new Dairy Queen.

Ordered two blizzards to-go, recieved two melteds instead. I didnt realize they were melted until I was already on the road home. The only thing about this experience I am happy about is the large handful of napkins I was given, because I had to clean up melted ice cream that dripped/spilled in my console 🫩. If you're craving ice cream, get it from another location. This is not the first bad experience I have had here.

There was a guy in the back with a skull tattoo on his hand and he was only wearing one glove but the glove he was wearing he was not even using it for the food. The guy was literally touching all the food with his bare hands. The manger had no idea what was going on most of the time and had almost forgot our drinks. We literally had to try to get her attention to get our drinks. We waited about 40 minutes for our two orders.

In one of my visits I ordered crispy tacos combo I was brought the order w/o tomatoes I asked for the order of tomatoes I was told by the young man that they were too busy to to go the back & cut up tomatoes! When I approached the bald mgr days later he replied we don’t have any employees that would say that & turned around & walked away! Wishing this mgr would be replaced!

the bald manager was very rude and tried to make it seem like it was my fault that his card terminals were not working properly. treated me like i was going to steal my blizzard, his attitude not just to me but his staff has made me not want to go back there all together, also the blizzard wasnt mixed all the way if i wanted vanilla i would have asked for vanilla

They have a menu board with the prices posted and they charge you a different amount. Whem asked the Manager in a rude maner said this are oir new prices so I mention he should update the prices at the menu amd respomse that is not mu responsability.

There was a girl urinating with her car door open. We spent $13 on blizzards that weren't mixed properly and barely had anything in them. I took mine back in and asked if I could try something else and ask to mix well. THEY WERE OUT OF MY NEXT 2 CHOICES. SO I SETTLED FOR WHATEVER THE GIRL RECOMMENDED AND LEFT. Stayed in my freezer till someone else ate. $13 to get us something special. Once in a great while because we aren't rich & just a disappointment all the way around.

Everything was good until I started eating my banana split. So I ordered a banana split I asked for extra strawberrys that I had to pay extra for instead of getting extra strawberrys I got tomatoes in my banana split. i didn't realize till I was half way done eating the banana split I was eating the pineapple and strawberries then I ate a strawberry it tasted weird so I found another one and I tried it was tomatoes all at the bottom,

If I could give this location zero stars I would! I went to eat dairy queen, what I got was something else. I ordered a belt buster w/on tomato (I'm allergic) fries and a small cone. I received my order and grabbed a fry, it was cold. Then I take a bite of the burger and from the taste they had put tomato on it then took it off. My guts will suffer for that. I then used a entire napkin to wipe the grease off my hands from that first nasty bite. Then a freaking chihuahua runs by my table! I ask the employee, y'all allow this? She said "what can I do?" I said tell them to leave! Turns out, this location is surrounded by a HUGE homeless population and they are allowed to hang out and brings their dogs. At this point I was totally disgusted and stopped attempting to eat. I went to get my cone. I asked the manager about unleashed dogs and was again told he could do nothing. Avoid this location at all cost. It gives this proud chain a extremely bad name and from what I saw, should not come close to passing a health inspection. This is not a safe place. I would not bring children here. I'll be driving to Helotes for my next DQ craving. 👎👎👎👎👎👎

So I really love this Dairy Queen. Especially the turtle pecan blizzard but today they were just off. I ordered chicken strips and they gave me steak fingers. I ordered an extra toast which i paid and did not receive it, so I called the manager who offered to replace the toast ,but did not want to replace my meal. He told me to drive to that location with my meal for an exchange. I think that it's ridiculous. The manager's name is Edward. Really disappointed due to the fact that I was just going to give them an awesome review because their customer service in the actual store was great,and their food is actually good. I always go there. 😩
