First time eating here and was very pleased. Great selection and the pepperoni Stromboli was devine. Hot and delicious paired with a cesar salad. The restaurant was clean and organized with friendly staff. Would come back if waiting in this terminal.
I was hungover in the airport and I don’t know what it’s called but this breakfast brought me back to lifeeeee.

I would just like to share a story To be exact, on July 29, 2023 at approximately 4:08 pm my friend and her daughter were at the airport, the little one got sick and had a fever. Days before someone stole everything including their cards and identifications, the girl was sick and both were for the flight, I live in Connecticut, I was waiting for them, they were hungry almost 1 day without eating and I tried unsuccessfully to find a way to help them, and she without money and I did not have the possibility to send her some money because they did not have the ID and apart from the fact that she was scared in a new country. I was looking in the airport directory for any phone from any restaurant trying to talk to someone who can help them, some of them never answered the phone, and others refused to help me. But ... in his restaurant, I asked to speak to the manager, I'm sorry, I forgot his name (I'm really sorry) that man seriously, he heard what he was saying about my friend and her daughter, obviously I needed to help my friend and her daughter, I was going to pay for what they needed at that moment, he had that empathy and that humanity to help me and help them. I asked him if there was the option for them to order food by phone and I paid for their food with my card, he said yes. I ask her if she knew of any pharmacy or somewhere to buy a Tylenol for the girl. He very kindly showed my friend and paid for the medicine that my friend needed for her sick daughter! I would like to thank you and that we still remember that incredible act that many denied us that even without knowing me and on the phone he helped me and helped two defenseless people in that chaotic moment, may God bless him a lot, not all people do something like that. We really appreciate what you did that day, I will never forget that act of kindness you had with three strange women. The world is better with people like you here, I hope and that many people around them value you
Great restaurant, their sausage and cheese strombolis are to die for! Definitely a great stop for a quick snack before a flight.
Came early in the morning when they opened. I ordered a breakfast wrap with egg, cheese and potato. Also a side bowl of potatoes, a chocolate milk and a cookie. Potatoes had a crispy outside with a soft warm inside. Must add pepper and salt because they are plain. Perfect for me because I cant eat too much salt. Freshly made and delicious. They also have bacon and pork sausage options on the menu. They gave me my food in to go containers so that I was able to bring my food on the plain. Greatly appreciated. Wonderful service.
Not sure why the mid score. I enjoyed everything I got. Made my layover worth it. Bacon egg cheese Stromboli was good and fresh. YEP It's true not much meat in it but was still delicious to me. The skillet potatoes were good and the garlic knots prefect. I recommended to another passenger that seemed to be contemplating on what to get after i had started eating mine. He ordered it not sure if he liked it though but you can't please every single customer. Our tastebuds are all different
Approx 6:10pm, Friday, May 12th, San Antonio International Airport, departures near Gate A8?A10?. I ordered a Spinach Stromboli. It was delicious, my first meal of the day and yes... I ate it all...I was hungry. (My flight delayed over an hr now.) Seating was convenient, right in front. As I was eating I couldn't help hearing the same voice repeatedly, literally over and over and over. It wasn't annoying at all because he welcomes the customers, asking what would they like to eat, and kindly making suggestions when "we" are undecided. Yes he's the same one that puts it the oven too. His name is ELDON! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! This is the kind of employee every place needs. Nowadays, it's seldom we see this kind of customer service. There were also 2 courteous employees as well, Jaden & Criss. But ELDON most definitely stood out⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Thank you for the great experience Eldon‼ Sorry no pics, I ate too fast...I was hungry --- Julie Alexander
I’m from Brooklyn- people in New York may have their favorite pizza spot, but a slice in New York is a slice. Famiglia can set up on any corner in NYC and fit right in. I never fly or return without getting a slice or more. The only problem with this joint is I have to buy a plane ticket- come in man…

We're stopping at San Antonio Airport before heading to Houston! ✈️ Quick Famiglia Pizzaria pit stop for pizza 🍕 and meatballs with pasta🍝. The pasta and meatballs were okay, but my meat lover's slice? 🔥 Crispy perfection! Highly recommend if you're hungry for pizza. 😋 #SanAntonio #Airport #Pizza #Travel #Food #MeatLovers #FamigliaPizzaria #Houston
Delicious ! Good place when your at San Antonio Airport. Of the choices you have here at the airport, this one is you best by far ! Breakfast Lunch, Mid Day Pizza 🍕 got to have or Dinner.
This slice was great! Felt like I was back in NYC! Great flavor! Nice crisp!

Stromboli w sausage. Well there was a couple pieces in there but it was mostly bread. Had good flavor but really could stand to add sausage to it. I know its airport food but at least make it with sausage if that's what you are calling it.

No smiles, no hellos, no greetings except what would you like. 6 pizzas were already cooked. Looked like the pizza was there awhile. All they did was reheat it. It took about 2 or 3 minutes but got cold that quickly too. Ordered spinach and mushrooms wasn’t as tasty as I thought it would be. Garlic knots looked good so I ordered those too. They were a little hard to chew on. I love bread but these were not appetizing at all. I should have stayed with the Tex mex restaurant next door.

I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this place deserves it. Famaglia serves overpriced, low-quality coffee with some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. To be fair, it’s an airport location—but that doesn’t excuse the attitude or lack of basic supplies. I was flying out of SAT on a Friday morning, and while every other spot had long lines, Famaglia was empty. That should have been my first clue. I ordered a simple coffee, which somehow cost as much as a latte, and when I went to mix in some sugar, I realized they had no wooden stirrers. When I asked an employee for one, she gave me a rude once-over and said, “Use a straw,” before walking away. Even another customer who saw it happen looked shocked. The coffee? Scalding hot and nothing special. The experience? Not worth the hassle. Save yourself the disappointment and grab your coffee somewhere else in the airport.
Terrible service. They serve me a Cold & Old stromboli. I asked them to re-heat it and they didn’t like it, put it back in the oven for one minute and gave it back to me; cold again. Obviously, San Antonio Airport, and the franchise management, they don’t care about the service and food quality because you don’t have too many options here at the terminal; it’s take it or leave it. I think they don’t have any supervision today: August 1, 2021 @3:30 PM

Staff were eating food and chewing with mouth open right above the food they were serving to customers. My food got burnt brace the staff were too busy talking to each other and touching their hair with gloves they touch food with and they didn’t change gloves, just a big food safety violation.
Overpriced junk. I tried this place 3 times, thought maybe it would be different. The food is dried out, over $10 dollars for a small Stromboli. Its like a pizza pop or hot pocket. never again. The taco place next to it, is way better. You can get a taco for $6.50. go there.
It has come to my attention that one of the employees have been giving out free food the employee was dark skin with lashes possibly a wig maybe age 27-35 your not making your business look good at least wait till the end of your shift or something.
This restaurant deserves no stars at all. I’m passing through from Orlando to California. Stopped here for the first time having some pizza. The pizza was overcooked because they cook it and then reheat it. It was crunchy. After eating the pizza we observed the woman making the pizza, she was wearing no gloves. She spread the oil on the surface to make the pizza dough on with no gloves spread it with her hand. Wiped her hands on her dirty apron, then took the same hands did not wash them in between take the dough out and spread it all out Again with no gloves. After spreading the sauce on, she reached in with her bare hands into a bucket of cheese and spread the cheese all over the pizza with no gloves again. Grabbing handles that everybody else is handling slide the pizza in the oven again, wiping her hands on her apron not washing them at all. Then she takes a dirty towel that had looks like grease and dirt on it wipe the surface to be prepped for another pizza and the towel was totally disgusting never sterilizing anything and using dirty towels and dirty hands. Yeah, that was disgusting I don’t recommend eating any food from this place has very poor hygiene and handling food. I brought it to another girls attention and she said as long as she washes her hands in between she didn’t wash her hands she made the entire pizza wiped her hands on a dirty apron after she got oil on them and then made the pizza Totally disgusting don’t eat there and food sucked. We were sitting with a perfect stranger. He took two bites of his food. He said the food was horrible. He had some kind of sandwich. Do not eat this restaurant stay away you might die.
It's bad enough that your food is extremely greasy, but your employees act like TSA agent with their rude attitudes. They're trying to herd you like you are cattle with no sign that they recognize you as a human. I say thank you after getting my food, and they just ignore you like you're a piece of dirt. It's really a terrible experience and it has been every time I've been here. The only reason people eat here is because it's the only place open in the early morning.

I asked for coffee after purchasing my food wish was over 25 dollars and they refuse to make us a fresh pot of coffee stating is would be a waist. Poor customer service
