As someone from Chicago, I’m super snobby about Chicago food. This place is amazing! Only complaint is that it’s 30min from my house without traffic - although that’s kinda good bc I would be there every single day! Pizza is delicious. Big myth is that all chicagoans do is eat deep dish, but we love our kinda thin crust tavern style as a more of an everyday type thing and this pizza is phenomenal. Hot dogs are delicious…beef is good, RC!!! Yessss. If you want delicious food, you better stop here!

This spot is authentic Chicago style food. The ingredients. The way it’s prepared and served. The atmosphere is pure Chicago vibes. I’ve had the gyros 🤌🏼 I always get Chicago style hot dogs 🙌 And I never ever ever ever miss out on the pizza puffs. 🫶🏼 This place is S-tier. I’m from Chicago and as a Texas resident, I’m super grateful for this spot. Nostalgia and Satisfaction every time.

My neighbor/friend Rob and I were looking for an authentic Chicago dog experience, him being from the Chicago area and all, he considers himself an expert in the midwestern food scene . I ordered the Italian beef sandwich “dipped “one Chicago dog and one gyro. I had two beers and yes, this place deserves every star.!

One of the best dogs I've had. Fast and friendly workers, and great atmosphere if you're a baseball fan. Even if you're not a baseball fan i recommend trying their food. Will definitely be back to try out the other menu options.

I love hotdogs. This place is totally authentic and reminds me of delicious old fashioned downtown hotdog vendors and baseball fields in both Cleveland, OH and Chicago, IL. The prices are great (if you love them and are hungry you can easily eat 3, if you eat 1 its cheap eats) and the quality and taste are there. Perfect Chicago dogs. Heavenly. I will totally be a regular. I hope this place remains open until the day I die. Franchise?

After trying Portillos a few years ago we were excited to find this place. Cute decor, fast service. Limited seating. We had the Maxwell and the OG Chicago dog and both were really good! Fries are hot and tasty and they have malt vinegar (a personal favorite of mine). They charge for extra hot peppers so be sure to ask for those before paying. Overall a good experience for us and we will likely return.

Ate here for two days while we were waiting for our cat to get better at the emergency vet next door. Food was very good! I go to Chicago often and it really hit the spot. The people there are very friendly and it was just a positive overall feeling in an otherwise stressful situation worrying about our cat.Food is priced well and i will be back for sure!

In my lifetime, I have never had the opportunity to try Chicago cuisine. However, I must say that my experience was quite enjoyable. I savored the buffalo sandwich, accompanied by jalapeño-seasoned fries. The combination of flavors was delightful, and the overall experience was satisfactory. The drink selection was also impressive, and I would highly recommend it.

I was on a journey. A journey to find a really good Italian beef sandwich here in SA. This is it! The beef was delicious Vienna, the bread was dripping with juice, and the atmosphere was amazingly filled with Chicago! I recommend coming here if you are looking for a great beef sandwich!

Good local find which is near my job. Meal prices are very cheap compared to surrounding fast food joints. The hotdogs have great flavor and are made with care. Extraordinary Women

The restaurant was clean. We were visiting San Antonio & since I’m born & raised in Chicago we had to try this place out. This is our second time eating here so I edited my review on 9/6/24 uploaded new pictures. Well when visit San Antonio again we definitely will not be eating here! The combination was not that good. The sausage was so little that I couldn’t believe they actually put it on the sandwich. The fries had no salt on them, we were just disappointed with the whole sandwich & fries.

I was craving the Italian beef sandwich for a while. I finally was able to get one and it wasn't like it use to be. The meat was dry and tasted like it was dipped in pickle. I'm glad I ordered a pizza puff as well.

Service was amazing. Food was disappointing. The Italian beef is an abomination. I ordered mine wet, it wasn't. It was to their standards but not mine. The meat was dry, how could it be if I ordered it wet? So disappointed. Also got a chilli cheese dog, it was better than the Italian beef. Not enough onions though. If you're looking for true authentic Chicago dogs and sandwiches this place ain't it.
