The food was delicious. We had menudo which had great authentic flavor and Heovos Rancheros. The tres leches coffee was really good. Not overly sweet at all.

Really good lunch spot! Our server was nice, chips and salsa were solid, and my carne guisada plate was delicious—those homemade flour tortillas hit the spot. We even grabbed some pan de huevo from their little bakery. Great food, good prices, I’d totally come back!

Had a family Breakfast gathering at Pico de Gallo Saturday morning Oct. 11th, and I must say it was a great experience. Not only the fact that we had over 40 relatives show up but these folks (staff) were outstanding in accommodating our group not to mention the service and hospitality. Every staff were delightful and attended us with a smile. The atmosphere is delightful and so colorful. Definitely doing this again. Thank you Pico de Gallo staff for making this a delightful and memorable gathering.

Food was good. The service is a little slow. They seem to need more wait staff. Drinks were a little weak. I ordered the house margarita & couldn’t taste the tequila. Had a great time with some friends. I did purchase some pan dulce from the bakery. That was top notch!! Highly recommend the pan dulce & their flour tortillas were homemade. Yummy!

Went to celebrate my birthday with my family, a party of 14. I went in the day before to make a reservation and they were happy to help. Everyone's food came out quickly and the waiter was very attentive. Unfortunately we were a bit early for the cabrito asado so I ordered the broiled cabrito & it fid not disappoint. Great place!!

A top notch Tex mex spot near downtown and right across from UTSA downtown campus. The food is priced right and the portions are great. Excellent service and an atmosphere that makes you feel the San Antonio style food.

The atmosphere feels very homey, not as touristy as some of the other places in the family of restaurants. The food was excellent. We enjoyed brunch with mimosas. The bakery has a nice selection of Mexican favorite pastries. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend.

The service was superior! Attentive and busy and interactive with his tables, our waiter was the best. The burrito suggestion, too, was perfect. I mean it hit the spot that needed to be hit. As far as the food being great quality I don't know... It was good, but I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and this one was just good. I don't want to compare it to other restaurants by name because that would be a disservice to Pico de gallo. I remember eating mollejas at Pico de gallo some years back, and they were incredible I mean they're what I would aspire to when I would make them myself at home, so you know this is a restaurant of great possibilities but I was looking for a quick wonderful meal I had a quick wonderful meal and it was good, but I didn't see the menu that they used to have where you would have things like Mollejas or specialty Mexican dishes. We have frequented this establishment for many years, celebrating various family events and our annual Christmas Eve dinner following mass. Regrettably, it appears that tonight may be our final visit. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy, we experienced a wait of over an hour for our meal, which arrived cold. Our waiter, Jose, would inquire about our needs and then inexplicably disappear. I am confident that a review of the surveillance footage from the evening of December 24th would corroborate my assertions. When we conveyed our concerns to the manager, Julia, she did not appear to be particularly empathetic. Jose rudely interrupted a family member who was speaking with Julia, denying his lack of attentiveness, and Julia did not address his behavior. It seems that Jose may have felt less compelled to provide adequate service, perhaps due to the automatic gratuity applied to our party size. I intend to pursue this matter further to seek a resolution. I also have the staff behavior documented.
