The food was great!! Our first time here and it definitely exceeded our expectations... The chicken was very tender and the flavor was amazing, the rice and beans were great as were the flautas! Even the salsa was delicious!! The price is great too!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you!

My experience was overall a good one. We arrived for an early dinner on a Thursday. The restaurant was devoid of customers, which is often a red flag. The dining area (and restrooms) were tidy and clean. We would later realize (from a posted sign), this establishment is part of a national chain from Mexico that has over 500 locations. This served to offer some reassurance. We ordered a family combo and a chicken sandwich. The family combo included a whole chicken, flautas, and one side (we selected potatoes). The whole chicken was roasted and somewhat small. But, contrary to what other have claimed, it was not bland. It was well seasoned and very flavorful. The flautas were fresh and appeared to be hand-made in-store (not frozen). The side of potatoes were actual whole potatoes. They were mediums sized and well seasoned (we had more than enough potato leftover to make potato and egg tacos the next morning). The chicken sandwich was by far my favorite part. The bread had a hint of sweetness and the meat quality/size was comparable to many of the other chain restaurants that joined the chicken sandwich bandwagon. The unique feature was the layer of coleslaw within the sandwich (big fan of coleslaw). It made for a unique taste. The biggest disappointment was the lack of a soda fountain machine. The only soda (Pepsi products) available was in 20oz or 2L size. Furthermore, the menu shows ice-cream shakes, but we were told this is a discontinued item. Also, substitutions are not allowed. Finally, be sure to check your items with to-go and drive-thru orders. During my first visit, I was missing the tortillas & salsa (from family combo). My second visit, I was missing my 20oz soda.

Delicious affordable food. Chicken was tender and juicy. Gave us the food really fast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will come again.

We got the #2, chicken was really good, nice and tender. Papa's were seasoned well and delicious. Onle spent $22 for my wife and I and we still had plenty to tale home. I will be coming back. I only wish the jalapeno was spicier.

Is delicious food with real Mexican flavor, the service is excellent, and the variety of options is amazing. My family already made it "tradition" to go for Wednesday's specials. Anything you order, you can be sure you will be satisfied. Plus, the food is hot and ready in a few minutes, you don't have to wait for long.

The chicken was well cooked & seasoned. The potatos were tender & also well seasoned. The tortillas were nice & warm & that was even after a 30 minute delivery time from Uber Eats. The taquitos were crispy. If you are hungry for Mexican style chicken, you should give El Pechugon a try.

Also the sala was very good. Nice workers, & 1 restroom. Lobby was clean. Had a good experience. Nice little place. Friendly & very good food. I recommend you stop in just to try the baked potatoes(👍). I give a 👍. (Plus, thank you for the food.)

I feel the dry taste in my mouth as I chewed on it. Good thing it came with plenty of chipotle sauce and sour cream, because it would have made it harder to eat the chicken. They also give you salsa verde, so it makes eating the dry chicken more bearable. The rice and beans, the slices of avocado, everything was good on it, but the chicken. The chicken just needs to be cooked better. I also would like to add that I think adding some tomato in the plate would make it a little better, since this plate is more like a salad bowl. Based on my overall experience, I can’t really say if I would want to come back. The food is good, but personally it doesn’t make me eager to return. Maybe I have to try the other items?

It used to be delicious and taste just like Mexico, unfortunately during my last visit, the salsa was completely different and no longer tasted Mexican, could be because the ladies working there are South American so it completely changes the flavor palette. Please stick to the original recipe, if I wanted South American food, I’d go to a South American restaurant.

It was cover with sour cream and some type of creamy salsa. So I was a little discouraged even before taking a bite. The flavors were good but it doesnt come with tortillas or even chips. The meal needs something crunchy to go with it because with all that sauce covering the chicken rice and beans it then becomes very soggy. Management needs to correct the picture or let the patrons know its covered with sour cream and a creamy sauce.

Not a place I'd recommend. Chicken sandwich was a good size but that's all it was. No clarification on what comes with the meal is the drink separate from the combo and just so you know the combo deluxe doesn't include a drink. I don't know just nothing special.

I personally enjoy leaving honest reviews to help other people save time and money. With that being said, I personally do not recommend this restaurant. I will say that the chicken is cooked to perfection. But as other reviewers mentioned, the flavor is just not there. I recommend buying a whole rotisserie chicken from the grocery store like H-E-B or Walmart , because that is exactly the equivalent flavor of what you’re going to buy here, and for significantly less. It pains me to write this because I had high expectations from the hype on social media. :(

I personally enjoy leaving honest reviews to help other people save time and money. With that being said, I personally do not recommend this restaurant. I will say that the chicken is cooked to perfection. But as other reviewers mentioned, the flavor is just not there. I recommend buying a whole rotisserie chicken from the grocery store like H-E-B or Walmart , because that is exactly the equivalent flavor of what you’re going to buy here, and for significantly less. It pains me to write this because I had high expectations from the hype on social media. :(

My friend and I were excited about this place. We both saw them on social media and it looked delicious. When I walked to the door, it was locked. I tried calling and their phone is disconnected. I saw a vehicle there, so I decided to knock. I started to smell something funky. A girl walked to the door, unlocked it, and opened it. After the doors opened it was clear the stink was from inside. My friend and I were disgusted alone by the smell. My friend wanted to leave, but I was determined to try the sandwich I seen on instagram. As I was waiting for the cashier to help me, I spotted the people in the back handling the chicken with their bare hands. The smell alone made me suspicious, but seeing that made me and my friend run away. I do not want to risk eating here. At LEAST do something about the smell.
