Tito's is a popular spot with delicious food, especially the barbacoa tacos and enchiladas. Many reviewers praise the service, particularly mentioning Melissa. Some note slow service at times, but overall a positive experience.

I went to Queso Pan Y Vino for a cozy dinner with a friend, and it delivered exactly that vibe. We started with the Tranquila Tequila cocktail, and bartender Carlos was fantastic. He even customized a version for us without simple syrup, just a touch of agave, and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the baked brie, burrata, and a margarita pizza, and every dish impressed. The baked brie came with jam and strawberries, while the burrata was served in a rich, homemade tomato sauce. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and intimate, making it perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out.
Went on a Thursday evening with a group of friends. First time for all of us. The place is beautiful inside. Open kitchen, and separate area for the bar. We had no problem getting a table for 8 at 6:30pm without a reservation. (Weekends may need a reservation for a large party). Our server was excellent! Very helpful with suggestions. We had the big charcuterie board, see photos and the baked Brie, to start, both had an excellent presentation and were delicious. Several in our party ordered the house salad, large portion (great for sharing) very nice presentation and fresh! ( no picture, by this time we just started dig in and forgot to take pictures). We also ordered several different pizzas, all were delicious. Very different combinations of ingredients. Some with pineapple and cilantro, another had Spanish chorizo and pancetta etc. cooked to perfection. Size is about a medium, good size to share. Wonderful selection of wines, some available by the and or bottle. I tried a glass of Zinfandel petite Syrah, Caymus Conundrum, $14, full bodied and flavorful. They also have cocktails on the menu. Limited on soft drinks. They will make fresh lemonade for you. The bar has a great selection of Bourbons and Tequilas, Vodka and Gin selections are limited. Nice vibe in the bar area. They do not serve food in the bar. Indoor and outdoor seat for the restaurant. I recommend for a date night, night out with friends or work gathering. Prices are very reasonable for the serving size, quality of food, atmosphere and service. I will definitely be back and will put this in my favorites list. Parking on the street only, so be sure you pay attention to the street signs on where you can and can’t park. Or use ride share, which maybe a better option if you intend to take advantage of their delicious wine options. 🍷
A chorizo pizza is hard to get right, but this place did it. And they do not play games with the cheese quality. This is legit. Reception/wait service was almost enough to drop this a point (it was not remotely busy), but I couldn’t do that to the incredibly positive busser. The Dragon Fruit M&M was a win for cocktails, but you can safely avoid the Kiwi Fresh.
If you're looking for a great spot to catch up with friends, you have to check out Queso, Pan, y Vino! The pizzas are seriously amazing (and they're just as good the next day!). Loved the elegant and chill vibes, perfect for a night out. Plus, the service was A+! Can't wait to go back.
We had a great time at Queso, Pan Y Vino! I wish I could remember our server’s name, because he was incredible. Always attentive, kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations. The whole staff there was great. The food was awesome as well. We got a few appetizers and a few pizzas and really enjoyed it all. The patio was awesome and cozy, and inside was a great vibe. The bar was exceptionally cool. Would definitely go back.
Oh my gosh, this place is so cute!! My boyfriend & I walked by QUESO PAN Y VINO while exploring Southtown this weekend, and decided to go inside for a drink before dinner. Their cocktail menu, beer and wine menus are robust, with lots of available options. I tried their Tranquila Tequila, which was refreshing and so, so delicious!! The atmosphere inside of this place is so cute. They have a great playlist going in the bar area, which adds so much to the vibes inside!! Carlos took great care of us - he was so attentive + kind. I’m looking forward to returning to try their food items in the future, as their menu looks great!! UPDATE (12/18/2025): I'm coming back to update my review, as I've since been back to QUESO PAN Y VINO to enjoy dinner with one of my girlfriends. We had the best experience here! :-) First, their menu is fantastic - there are so many delicious options, but I specifically loved their Baked Brie, Burrata Divorciada, and Margherita Pizza. The atmosphere inside QPV is lovely - it's cozy, warm, and inviting. The staff are very kind & helpful (specifically, behind the bar, Carlos is incredible)! I highly recommend this spot - it's wonderful!
enjoyed everything, queso fundido and pizza were standouts. returned for cocktails in the back bar which were excellent
Delicious salad! Delicious pizza! But the drinks knocked my socks off! Try the Backroom, the bar at Queso Pan Y Vino.
Excellent!!! The most Pinterest-esque restaurant I've ever been too. When we ordered from the menu, the items looked *actually, exactly* like they did in their pictures online! I couldn't believe it. Not just that, but their food also TASTES PHENOMENAL! We got 2 pizzas. I can't remember which ones, but they were both sooo good! 10/10 recommend!!!
Southtown’s biggest gem. QPV will forever have my heart. From impeccable service to the amazing staff, the food, the drinks, and the restaurant itself-everything is pure perfection. It’s literally the only place I’ll ever get pizza from in San Antonio. Every pizza on the menu is outstanding but my two personal favorites are the Los Cuates and La Pata Negra. The meatballs, the baked Brie, their own take on the caprese salad are all absolutely mouthwatering. They offer an exquisite selection of wine and delicious cocktails to complement your meal. Honestly I could go on and on about the food and service here-you truly can’t go wrong with anything you order.
Gem of a bar in the back room. Stunning finishes, amazing drinks, and service. We had the pancetta pizza for dinner and the Pineapple Express drink plus a mezcal Old Fashion. All excellent.
We randomly walked across this restaurant on a downtown excursion and I am extremely happy that we did! Our time at this restaurant amounts to one of the best culinary/drinking experiences I've had (a sentiment shared amongst the group that I went with) and definitely the best spot in San Antonio so far. We started with Wine, Tapas and Pizza and moved on the bar in the back. We finished out on the patio with some Cigars and Old fashions. The manager, Eric, was awesome and crafted some of the best mixed drinks I've had (not exaggerating). He continued to give us excellent recommendations throughout the night. Check it out!
Passed by this place many times, so decided to give them a try on a Friday evening. It was early, so only 2 of the about 8 tables inside were occupied. Service was immediate and very friendly. Since it was my first time here, the server explained their menu and specials. Started off with the queso fundido and a few drinks. The drinks were good, but the fundido was the hit. It was perfect for sharing and wasn't heavy at all. It was good, so ordered another one, but can't remember the name. It was a salsa verde, with a soft cheese, topped with cilantro, and served with small tortillas on the side. Surprisingly, this was even better than the queso fundido. The combination of the salsa verde and soft cheese inside the tortilla was perfect. Lastly, ordered the baked brie which was just as good. Can't go wrong with any of the skillet cheese appetizers. For the meal, ordered their new pizza, the Los Cuates and another pizza from the menu. I was a little hesitant about the Los Cuates since it's topped with al pastor and pineapple. However, was pleasantly surprised as the al pastor was very tasty and the pineapple wasn't too sweet. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly in the brick oven and wood fire. They were thin and had a nice crispy char on the crust. For dessert, had the flan and dessert pizza which was nutella and strawberry. Enoyed the flan as it had a smooth, creamy texture that wasn't overly sweet. The dessert pizza was a little too sweet for my liking, but wasn't bad. Overall, this was a nice restaurant with a really nice ambiance. Good food and service. Will try to come back next time when they have live music.
I had not heard about QPV until I saw them tagged on a San Antonio foodie post, but I sure am glad I know about them! Sitting right next to The Pipe Corner (you can almost miss it if you don’t look carefully), you get some great views dining out on the patio. Alternatively, you can sit inside in a quaint, authentic Italian setting. The pizza was phenomenal. I always opt for pepperoni pizza when it’s my first time trying a place’s pizza out, but there were some San Antonio-style fusion pizzas on the menu that sounded awesome. Drink selection was okay, although the cucumber marg was tasty. I definitely want to come back for some of the more unique menu options!
Great location in Southtown, just off of Cesar Chavez, and close to public parking. Come to Southtown and hit this place for sure. Great salads, wine selections, and their wood fire oven pizzas are amazing. It is all about the dough, baby. I had an old fashioned the last time I was here. The staff is friendly and the interior is sleek and modern. Great playlist and a must for dining alone or with a group of friends. You won’t find this gem on Open Table because they don’t take reservations. Come early and walk right in and then do your own pub/dessert crawl. La Foccacia down the street has awesome carrot cake and Rosario’s has chocolate flan. Being here isn’t about rushing; it is about enjoying the experience of the food - smells, mouth-feel, and visual appeal.
Impeccable quality, flavors, and service. Outstanding value for what they're charging for a pizza that is made so well. Crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings all top notch quality, ratios, and seasoning. They should charge more.
Dani is incredible, and if you haven’t been, you’re sleeping on this place. One of my favorite wine bars in town. I’m hoping for the wine menu to expand in time. Food is great, wine is great, and the service will take care of you. Please give this play a try!
LOVED Titos!! Did a lot of research for places on the south side of SA and heard many good things about this place. Walked in to lots of custom margaritas made with special tequilla infusions, which you don't do if you don't care. Place is split in half between the bar and the restaurant. Very Industrial minimalist, but with character and art on the walls. Drinks were flowing on monday night from specials. Food was on point, had trio of enchilladas which were great. Kids had steak tacos which were good, although a little oily. Wife has a shrimp dish in cream, also very good. Even the rice was phenomenal. Also loved the waiter and overall vibe. Highly recommend if you want to get away from the tourist traps!
Dined in for dinner after hearing good recommendations. I had the trio enchiladas so I could try different proteins and sauces. The verde sauce hits pretty darn good. The steak and chicken were tender and delicious. Would recommend coming and giving this places a try. The prices weren’t too bad and the staff were very kind and helpful.
We came into town for the Paul McCartney concert, and let’s just say things didn’t exactly go smoothly at first — we had to wait two hours for our hotel room to be ready, didn’t get to eat before the show, and it was just one thing after another. The next morning, after checking out, we were just driving around looking for a place to grab breakfast and spotted Tito’s. We decided to stop in — and we’re so glad we did! Melissa was our server, and she was absolutely wonderful. Her sparkling personality completely turned our morning around. She was friendly, attentive, and just had that genuine warmth that makes you feel welcome. The restaurant itself is super cute and full of charm — the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. The food was fantastic, and Melissa (along with the rest of the team) made the whole experience something special. We definitely recommend Tito’s — great food, great atmosphere, and an even better staff. Thank you, Melissa, for making our day so much better!
The food was fantastic! I ordered the Mario plate and highly recommend it. My husband chose the Gorditas, and they were also delicious. Our waiter, Melissa, provided amazing service. Given that they are in the King William area, the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be visiting again!
Walked by and decided to drop in. One of the best decisions we ever made in our lives. Our waitress, Mel, was fantastic. The food is out of this world. Had barbacoa tacos in homemade blue corn tortillas. The beef was the most succulent and tender barbacoa I've ever had. Wife had their award winning enchiladas and almost drank the sauce. Cocktail menu looks good too. Creative craft drinks. If you appreciate honest food made with pride, and a casual atmosphere, do your taste buds a favor and go to Titos.
this place was great! the (free) salsa was perfect amount of spicy; our food came out super quick; and our server, melissa, was attentive, charismatic, and wonderful! prices were reasonable as well. only complaint was there was a hair on my tajin rim from my margarita but i’ve worked in service industry enough to know that sometime that just happens! it wasn’t a huge deal to me so i just plucked it off, but i felt assured that if i did bring it up to the staff, that i would have been compensated or brought a new one. i would recommend!
Great spot with authentic Mexican food. I enjoyed the 4 mini Barbacoa tacos banados 5/5. They came with Charro beans, the beans were OK to me 3/5. Additionally, I ordered the queso con Chile, it was more on the watery side but flavorful 4/5. Lastly I got a Chamoy mango margarita 5/5, yummy! I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. The service was good and they had music playing, but I would say it was moderately loud. Most importantly, make sure that you park in an appropriate space since it’s close to downtown you may have a hard time finding a spot on the street.
Absolutely FANTASTIC food!!! Called in an order and it was ready when I got there 20 minutes later! Everyone inside was so sweet and made sure I had been helped out already. Currently writing this review a few bites in as shown in the pictures. You know a place is good when even the take out is delectable!
We tried a variety of different foods and found everything delicious. The service was a little slow but that gave us more time to enjoy ourselves. I had the mini tacos de alambres. Four small tortillas smothered under a mountain of steak, bacon, and cheese, yum! The beef queso dip was fabulous. The ladies both tried the margarita sampler trays and had a wonderful time tasting all the different flavors of margaritas. The entire experience was unforgettable and only cost $75 for 3 dinners and adult beverages.
First time here and was not disappointed. Service, food and drinks were fantastic. Love the vibe and the music. Got to jam The Clash while here and I loved it. Mini tacos de al pastor were so delicious. Salsa was so good especially when you add a dash of lime. Had this lavender margarita that was so good. Totally recommend and can't wait to come back
The food was amazing. I got Gabriella's favorite with the cream enchilada and the beef fajita. The beef was incredible, so I would honestly recommend getting the beef fajitas and you won't regret it. Our server was fantastic and very nice. I can't remember her name to mark it down here but she did a fantastic job! The music was a little loud so it was somewhat difficult to talk to each other, but that's just personal preference. If you don't like that there are a few tables outside that you can snag. Overall fantastic little restaurant!
Tell my why this is the 2nd best place for pizza in southtown. I’m not gonna lie, the Charcuterie board was the best part. The homemade jam on the board was very good. The Bruschetta that came with the board was soaked in olive oil. That gave the bread so much flavor. Like beyond better than regular crackers with a Charcuterie board. The Prosciutto and Brie sandwhich was out of this world. I think it should be served with homemade chips. That would be a great addition to an expensive sandwich. Although it was good, you could make homemade parm garlic potato chips to go with the sandwich. The pizza was very good. You can always tell that the crust is crispy but flexible all at the same time with a very good pizza oven that they use. You def get a good amount of toppings. They don’t skimp on that. I think the next time I go, I’m going to stick with appetizers and drinks. Next time, I’ll try the craft cocktails. We sat outside and the service lacked. I get it , it was a Tuesday night and having to run to every table inside plus outside is tough. I think a good suggestion is to place a filled water carafe on the table so customers can fill their waters as they go. Especially, with outdoor tables.
This is a tiny place but extremely picturesque. Great date place. We tried a charcuterie and the goat cheese and the pizza. Cocktails were intentional and well balanced. I lived the cucumber margarita and pineapple mexcal drink which was smoky and delicious. The carnitas pizza was not liked by my party because of the tomatillo sauce it was not working with the other toppings. Everything else was really great.
Thought the enchiladas were good! Salsa was picante sauce. Service could use improvement - had to wait a long time for a chip and salsa refill, even after asking twice. They did seem short staffed for proper service so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Cute historic building.
Lovely aesthetics, reasonable prices for the location, ok service (they forgot my water and bread, difficult to wave servers down, couldn't give me a receipt). We got the baked cheese, a salad, and a veggie pizza. The pizza wasn't that good--taste was ok and the texture was too soft/moist. WAYYY better pizza down the street at Pizzeria Vessuvio.
This place has a really huge menu and excellent happy hour selection. We made it just in time for happy hour drinks! I also ordered the mango margarita off the regular menu and it was really tasty and refreshing. We shared some happy hour cheese and bean nachos which were a good sized portion and tasty. For our mains we tried the Enchilada trip which seemed popular. I really enjoyed it because it allowed me to try different flavors. The mole one was my favorite! Staff here are super nice and the restaurant was full of people which is always a good sign!
Absolutely disgusting place. Literally every single thing about Tito’s is a dumpster fire. No free refills, long wait time when it wasn’t even busy, the dishes all came out at different times, the chips are store-bought hard corn ones, the fries were atrociously seasoned to the point I could smell nothing but them whenever I took a bite of my poorly made torta, we were never checked up on, no one brought us a check, and the kicker- we were secretly up charged for fries with the torta (it comes standard with beans but the waiter substituted fries and tried to charge us for it). Funny thing is he even asked if we’d been there before, so I’m assuming he saw what we looked like and thought he’d take advantage. We tried to talk to a manager, they jerked us around for about ten minutes until two women came out. One of them was interpreting for the other and both were somehow struggling to understand the plethora of issues we were having. Eventually the Spanish-speaking one got upset for whatever ridiculous reason and snatched the plate from in front of me. They took the meal off and my boyfriend’s father still left a tip which I wanted to swipe back so badly. Tito’s is the nastiest, hipster-infested dump that I’ve EVER had the displeasure of visiting. Literally go to anywhere else, I promise that unless you have no sense of taste, or would like to try prison cuisine, it’ll be the biggest waste of money. I’m not joking when I say that this is the first restaurant in my LIFE to give me anxiety and make me count the seconds til I could walk out. Ignore the good reviews, pay attention to the negative ones. I’m always against eating at places like these with lower ratings, but for once I just went with it and am never making that mistake again.
