The overall ambiance is warm toned with a splash of pop. The music is rather loud, i found myself having to talk over it. The menu is very very long! Which is not a bad thing, because there's something for everyone. We did visit in September, so we had the opportunity to try their world famous pumpkin cheesecake. The cheesecake lives up to the expectations. We will return!

We went back to the Cheesecake Factory after not having been in a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone’s plate looked great. I had the Miso Salmon which I would highly recommend. The sauce was awesome. We all had cheesecake to finish which was also amazing.

Our party (4) was quoted a 30-minute wait time; however, we were not seated for approximately one hour and had to check in multiple times for updates. After being seated, it was an additional 40 minutes before our food was served. Based on wait time accuracy, kitchen throughput, and food quality — which lacked flavor — this visit would have otherwise reflected a 1-star experience, and we would be unlikely to return for the menu alone. That said, our server, Gabriel, delivered an exceptional level of service that significantly changed the overall experience. He was professional, courteous, patient, and highly attentive. He demonstrated strong operational knowledge, accurately remembered our orders, and maintained a calm, service-focused demeanor despite extended delays. Operational opportunities for management consideration: -Improve accuracy and transparency of quoted wait times. -Strengthen host stand communication and guest follow-up processes. -Evaluate kitchen efficiency and food quality consistency. -Enhance coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations. Gabriel exemplifies customer-centered service and brand representation. While he is an outstanding server, his experience, situational awareness, and process mindset suggest potential value in roles focused on customer experience or operational improvement — a strategic priority for many organizations in 2026. I initially considered leaving a 1-star review; however, Gabriel’s professionalism and human-centered service warranted a 5-star rating. His impact was that significant. Retaining and developing team members like Gabriel should be a priority.

The orange chicken and rice were amazing. Super flavorful and cooked to perfection. We had a large party (15) and the waiter was amazing at handling our table.

Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar was absolutely delicious. The burgers and BLT were packed with flavor, every bite better than the last. Our appetizers were just as amazing, perfectly prepared and full of taste. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. On top of that, our waiter was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This place truly hits all the right notes. We will definitely be back. 🍔✨🥃

We showed up at 11 AM on a Sunday without a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes for a reservation. 3 of us shared the bottle of mimosas with 2 juices. We especially enjoyed the BLT toast with plenty of greens. The chicken melt was good but could have benefited from the pickled fresno peppers that were on the brunch sandwich. Save room for the delicious whiskey cake with whipped cream!

The family had dinner at Whiskey Cake on Christmas Eve, and it had been a while since our last visit. We were pleasantly surprised by how much the menu has changed. Everything we ordered was spot on, from the food to the drinks. Miley was our waitress and she was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell she genuinely cares about great service. The only thing I’d personally change is the dinner lighting. I understand setting the mood, but it was pretty dark at our table, as you can tell from the photos. The candle didn’t provide much light, and I’d love to actually see what I’m eating a bit more clearly. Other than that, it was a great experience overall, and we’ll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! I had the goat cheese fondue and the farm salad. My partner had the deviled eggs and the roasted garlic hummus. We each had the whiskey flight and ended with sharing the whiskey cake. The ambiance was wonderful and our server was attentive. The Whiskey cake was the cherry on top. Not too sweet and homemade whipping cream!! One note: Hostesses guiding their guest to their tables should be aware of their attire to include a bra.

We came at 8:00 on a Friday evening, and the service, food, and atmosphere were amazing. Our server Josh, was super helpful and ready to answer any questions. We got the candied bacon to start, and it was absolutely unbelievable. The best pork belly I’ve ever had. For dinner we had the New York strip, medium rare for me, and Pittsburg rare for her. Very seldom can I say That it was absolutely perfectly cooked. 10/10. The chimichuri on top was a huge plus. Additionally, the potatoes that came along side the steak were something I can’t say I’ve had before, but also very good. Overall amazing experience. Looking forward to coming back soon! Went for a birthday party and the waiter was beyond great. He kept everything moving and was so efficient. The food was delicious. Got the steak fritas and it was really good. The spinach artichoke dip was so good, the chips, I forgot the name, were really good with the dip. Tried their fried green. Tomatoes and I have to say that it was really good. My only thing was the mustard seed ketchup, it is very unique and very different. Some of my friend really likes it and others were like me, questioning the flavor.

We had an amazing time! The service is amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us frequently. We ordered the ribeye for 2 and it was good but not out of the world. The main reason is that cut of meat was a little tough. The manager walked by and even noticed it so he gave us a discount on the plate. The bread, gluten free bread, side items, drinks and dessert were great though! Overall, nice ambiance led to a great date night. We'll give the steak another chance!

He made a couple Old Fashion's and my friend very much enjoyed them. I ordered an Expresso Martini and also had an Irish Coffee. Both were so good! I did start eating before I thought to take the pictures that’s how good it was lol. This place was absolutely amazing! I really love that they grow their own herbs and spices—it adds such a fresh touch. When you walk in, there are plants growing out of plastic bottles on the right side, which I thought was so creative and cool since they’re recycling. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which made the experience even better. For food, I ordered the Crab Fritters (lump crab, fontina cheese, lemon, and chive crème), and they were absolutely delicious. I love anything with crab, and this dish instantly became my favorite. I also tried the Smoked Chopped Chicken Salad, and honestly, it was the best salad I’ve had in a long time—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique atmosphere, great service, and outstanding food.

She learned it was our first time and gave us amazing recommendations - dishes that are customer favorites as well as some drink suggestions. When the first plate came out looking a little too charbroiled, Ale didn’t hesitate, she immediately had the kitchen make a new one, saying she wouldn’t serve it unless it was up to her standards. That kind of care really stood out. • My husband had the prime rib sandwich with a side of mac & cheese - hearty, flavorful, and filling. • My son enjoyed the chicken and waffles, which were cooked perfectly and came out golden and crisp. For drinks & dessert: 🍸 I had an espresso martini, and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had! Smooth, rich, and balanced - highly recommend it. 🍺 My husband went with a light beer, which paired nicely with his sandwich. To top it all off, Ale surprised us with the famous whiskey cake - and it was absolutely delicious! The perfect sweet ending to a great meal. The combination of great food, delicious drinks, and an outstanding server like Ale made this such a positive dining experience. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back. This spot is officially on our “must revisit” list! Highly recommend - ask for Ale if you get the chance!

This was my first time visiting La Cantera Mall in San Antonio. We decided to stop for a bite to eat at The Cheesecake Factory and almost left since the wait time was so long. We were in for a spectacular evening since we were seated outside on the Friday after Christmas. We had the best seats in the house for the fireworks show! Our food was delicious and our server was attentive without being overbearing. The only negative, that I'm still trying to understand, is regarding the restrooms. This restaurant seated a large number of people and, yet, there were only 2 stalls in both the men & women's facilities. Even if you're only going in to wash your hands, you shouldn't have to pass a line of people waiting to enter a stall just to use the sink.

The Cheesecake Factory is pretty consistent on service, food, and atmosphere. I brought my son for a Father Son day outing. He loved the bread and butter as did i. We ordered the 4 cheese pasta with chicken and the orange chicken. Both were great. For an appetizer we had the world famous (not sure really lolz) Buffalo Blast. Ughhhhhhh this are so delicious. Establishment was clean and fancy looking. We would definitely go back. We didn't get to order any Cheesecake due to the feast we had, had us feeling stuffed. Our food and drinks came out looking as good as they tasted. Shout out to our server, Taylor, for being very attentive and making dinner a great experience.

The restaurant is beautiful with plants throughout tucked into whiskey bottles and quite even though it has high ceilings with an industrial design. The acoustics are perfect to have dinner and NOT hear everyone else’s conversation. The old fashioned was refreshing without being overly sweet. The candies near the door are caramel deliciousness. Cons: There was a wait when we arrived, my friend gave her number and we walked to the bar to wait. We were waiting a long time, and turns out they took us off the list. The host said a text was sent that our table was ready but we never received one. It was quickly resolved. Our waiter was friendly but didn’t seem as knowledgeable as the bartender when it came to the food. He took our order, and never came back. Others brought our meal, no water or drinks refill. We saw him near the kitchen and with his other tables but he didn’t return to our table until we were close to done with our meal. He didn’t ask about dessert. It wasn’t until we got our checks that I remembered their desserts are supposed to be really good. Oh well. My friend had food envy, she ordered the Steak Salad and said there was barely any steak, it was mainly arugula. She would not recommend. If you want steak, go for the steak frites instead. The women’s restroom needs to be better attended to. Only one stall out of three was usable due to cleanliness. Overall a good experience but the service could be improved.

Place was pack i will put three stars just because they forgot to call us we spend like 2 hours to be seated we went to the lady in front and she realized that she made a mistake but she never said sorry we ask to talk to the manager and she never call her. We never even got to find out if the food was good because, after more than an hour, we still hadn’t been served. We were seated at 2:07 p.m., well after the lunch rush, and around 3:15 p.m. the wrong food finally arrived. Since we both ordered the exact same dish, it should have been an easy order. Instead of apologizing, our server simply said, “Let me get the manager.” I wasn’t looking for a conversation, I just wanted to eat. The manager came over, said they’d rush the correct order, and we agreed, though we mentioned we were short on time. A few minutes later, they brought out a to-go bag, even though we never asked for takeout. After waiting that long, I wasn’t about to drive home with cold food. By then it felt like the waitress just wanted us to leave, probably because she realized the tip wasn’t going to be great. The manager didn’t seem to have a handle on the situation either. Overall, a disappointing experience and a poor example of how to run a restaurant. It is a nice bag, but not nice enough to make up for all the time that was wasted.
